Description: In order to domesticate Litopenaeus vannamei as a solution to single species shrimp aquaculture of Penaeus indicus and to reduce risk of shrimp culture in emergency cases, this study was carried out. Initially the postlarvae reared from imported L. vannamei were cultured. After culture season the adult shrimps were transported to greenhouse ponds for wintering. It is then relocated to hatchery saloon. After eye stalk ablation and maturation the female brood stocks were introduced to matured male for copulation at ponds. During the study period, male and female shrimps attained full maturation at end – April by temperature over 25ºC, the copulation process was started significantly. Finally of the 12 instances of copulation, one instance resulted nauplii production. The best maturation was observed at 28 ֯C ±1 and salinity30 to 33PPT and pH of 8 to 8.3 Fresh sea worms and squid showed the highest effect on fecundity in brood stocks. Besides, the spring season was obtained to be the best period for brood stock production in Bushehr province.

Description: This study was conducted to codify the guideline and indexes of broodstock management in salmonid fish and cryopreservation, selective breeding and sex reversal in hatchery to attain responsible aquaculture development. Cryopreservation includes of sperm and egg in term of economic is important in aquaculture. In this report mentioned the type and name of material. All female and sex reversal fish are produced by steroid hormone which mentioned in this report. Selective breeding include individual selection and family selection which could be used for genetic improvement of fish.

Description: The visceral storage fat and liver of patin catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) are normally discarded, which incurs cost and can cause environmental pollution. However, these may be potential sources to extract fish oil. The proximate and fatty acid compositions of liver and fatty tissue of patin catfish were investigated to evaluate the suitability of these by-products for extracting fish oil. Fat was extracted using a low temperature solvent extraction method. The average fat content of fatty tissue and liver of females were 77.64 and 11.71%, respectively, whereas in males this was73.23 and 9.59%, respectively. Fatty acids found in the extracted oil of these byproducts were C12:0, C14:0, C14:1, C16:0, C16:1, C18:0, C18:1, C18:2, C18:3, C18:4, C20:0, C20:1, C20:4, C20:5, and C22:6.The major fatty acids presented in these tissues were palmitic (C16:0), oleic (C18:1n-9), and linoleic acid (C18:2 n-6). The total amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids of liver from male and female patin catfish were 13.31 and 13.30%, respectively, whereas in the fatty tissue these were11.64 and 12.09%, respectively. The n-3 to n-6 ratios of liver and fatty tissue of females were 1.61and 0.95, respectively, whereas in male fish these were 1.31 and 1.05, respectively. Results of this study indicated that the liver and fatty tissues of patin catfish are suitable sources of fish oil specifically due to the presence of monounsaturated and n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Description: Hand cream is used for rehydrating and improving skin properties. The skin is the first point of contact with the environment. Thus having healthy skin with proper barrier properties is quite important. The beneficial effects of fish oil on skin make it a favorable ingredient to be used in hand care products. In the present study, the efficacy and stability of various hand cream formulations using 0, 1.0, 2.5 and 5.0% of fish oil were investigated and compared. The appearance, odor, texture, and pH of formulations containing 1 and 2.5% of fish oil remained stable in very good qualities during the storage, whereas the related values to the appearance and texture of formulation containing 5.0% of fish oil at the end of 6 months of storage at 45°C were significantly (p〈0.05) lower than other formulations and previous evaluations of this formulation. Weight loss was not observed in all formulations under study.

Description: In last decade the policy of shrimp culture development changes to an important economic and social pole in country. This industry need to research and innovation. The P. monodon is the biggest and largest shrimp (prawn) as known shrimp. This reason says that the culture of P. monodon is more benefit. This shrimp has reported from Guatr Gulf, Pasabandar and Bris costal area of Chabahar region. After catching around 100 pieces of P. monodon in 1999 by fishermen of mentioned area, we decided to write down a project to survey on possibility of broodstok for P. monodon in 2001. In this order we start trolling in Guatr Gulf, Pasabandar and Bris and studied the presence of monodon. During trolling we did not receive sufficient shrimp because of inconveniencing them by trolling net. This less number caused that we could not breed the P. monodons.

Description: A survey on shrimp culture situation in Delvar site was studied in this research. Lack of comprehensive investigation on shrimp culture in Delvar site, undesirable growth and low productivity in compare with standards and study of chemico-physical factors effect on shrimp culture, are some evidence for designing and performance of this project. The field operation was carried out from May to December 2001 in 5 private shrimp farms. Delvar shrimp culture complex is located 35km far from Bushehr. This site has 2 sections, Delvar 14 and Delvar 18. All of the farms belong to cooperative and private companies. There are 2 hatchery centers in this site. Cultured areas were 396.2 hectare and total productivity was 706 ton in 2001. Mean production per hectare was 1782 kg, equal to 0/022.6 of total production of all shrimp culture sites in Bushehr province. We select 2 farms from Delvar 14, 3 farms from Delvar 18 and 2 pounds from each of them. Total stocking density in these ponds, 12 hectare, were 3265750 post larvae (PL -12), duration of culture was at least 145 and maximum 193 days. The highest FCR was 2.2 and the lowest was 1.2, maximum productivity was 3600 kg and minimum of it was 1900kg, maximum stocking density was 33 post larvae per m and minimum of it was 18. Origin of shrimp larvae was from wild sea shrimps. Maximum of shrimp means weight was 13. 44g and the minimum of it was log, the highest survival rate was 86% and the lowest of it was 0/050. Structure of pond beds was made from lum and Stum (mud and slum) 86% and sand 20%. Organic matters of sediment has shown declining rate in culture period. Some of ponds had mortality, about 48 ton, because of sudden changes in weather condition and decreasing of temperature. Total productivity of 10 ponds was 26986.3kg and mean productivity per hectare was 2248kg. We measured and recorded some environmental parameters such as Salinity, D.O, temperature, pH and transparency two times a day, (before sunrise and at 3 p.m.). Some factors such as Chlorophyll-a, organic nitrogen, ammonia, T.D.S. and. T.S.S were measured twice per month (in water phase), and also we measured pH, total nitrogen and organic matter once a month (in Sediment). Water deficiency and insufficient pumping are two of the most important problems. These problems cause increasing of salinity and have effect on shrimp growth. Because of high salinity, shrimp growth in Delvar site is lower than Shrimp growth standards. This Condition needs to take suitable methods in stocking and water management (salinity, transparency, pH, DO. and temperature) during culture period. Range of salinity was 44•66 p pt in pohds and farmers maintain salinity at about 50 ppt with difficulty. In low tide, because of the high evaporation and salt gathering in water supply canal' s bed, Salinity of farms at the end of canals rising so much. According to these results range of salinity and duration of culture were over range in contrast to the natural Shrimp growth ranges. Ponds with low stocking density (18 and 19 post larvae per m2) had better FCR, survival rate, and growth and produce value. In spite of the water and soil protection principles, farmers rarely follow scientifically culture rules. Results of gathered data about culture condition, productivity and effect of chemico physical factors donating that suitable executive management is efficient factor in good productivity and reaching to favorite survival.
