Description: The aim of the methodology is to give an understanding of elder abuse, typologies, manifestations, risks of occurrence and procedures for detection and solution. The methodology helps those who regularly come into contact with older people to put knowledge about elder abuse into practice. This can be anyone who is not, or should not be, indifferent to seeing an older person treated inappropriately. The methodology is primarily intended for people working in support services, with recommendations for other relevant actors such as general practitioners and specialists, the police, the social services of local authorities, etc. However, it can also be used by interested members of the public and by non-profit organisations, which also have an essential role to play in dealing with this phenomenon. The procedures and recommendations presented here are based on the research activities of the RESTABUS project, which draw on the findings of other research teams from all over the world and from a wide range of scientific disciplines, as well as on many years of experience in working with older people.

Description: Geçmişte yaşanan iklim değişikliklerinin nedenlerinin ve etkilerinin anlaşılması, insanoğlunun gelecekte karşılaşacağı çevresel değişiklikleri önceden tahmin etmesi ve önlemler alması açısından önem arz etmektedir. İnsanın yeryüzündeki varlık süresince, yani Kuvaterner’de yaşanan iklim değişiklikleri, buzul ve buzularası çağlarının yaşanmasına yol açarak, yer küreyi ve üzerinde yaşayan canlıların hayatını şekillendirmiştir. Ülkemiz de Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının etkisinde kalmış ve Anadolu’nun farklı bölgelerindeki yüksek alanlarda gelişen buzulların bazıları günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. İklim değişikliği etkisiyle ortadan kalkan buzulların oluşturduğu yer şekilleri ise çoğu sahada korunmuştur. Anadolu’daki buzullaşmalar ve bunlara ait yer şekilleri araştırmacılar tarafından sıklıkla çalışılmış olmakla birlikte morfometrik analizler sınırlı sayıda araştırmada uygulanabilmiştir. Buzul morfometrisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar son buzul çağının etkilerini daha net anlaşılmamıza imkân tanımaktadır. Bu araştırma kitabı ile Batı Torosların doğu ucunda yer alan ve daha önce literatürde geçmeyen Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının izlerinin yaygın bir şekilde gördüğümüz Kuşak Dağı’nın jeomorfolojik özelliklerini arazi çalışmaları ve İHA verileri kullanarak haritalamak, ayrıca morfometrik analizlerle Kuşak Dağı ve Batı Toroslar hakkında paleoiklimsel değerlendirmelerde bulunmak hedeflenmiştir. Yine bu kitapta buzul jeomorfolojisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar ayrıntılı açıklanmaya çalışılarak bu konularda çalışacak genç araştırmacılar için Türkçe kaynak kitabı olması amaçlanmıştır.

Description: How the Steel Was Tempered in East Asia. Nikolai Ostrovsky’s novel How Steel Was Tempered (1932-34) tells the story of a young Ukrainian man named Pavel Korchagin who sacrifices his life and body to forge a steel-like spirit amid revolution, civil war, and postwar socialist construction. Although his physical injuries, which left him paralyzed and even blind, looks somehow grotesque, but his heroic self-sacrifice also had the power to inspire young readers. Regarded as an exemplary work of Soviet socialist realism, it was translated into many languages and read avidly at one time by left-wing readers in the West as well as in the Communist countries in the East. It was particularly influential in China, where it is so popular that even today it is invariably named as one of the favorite books of university students. This is in contrast to post-Soviet Russia today, in which the novel has lost the privileged position it once enjoyed and is no longer widely read. In China under the socialist regime, Ostrovsky’s novel was published in large numbers as suitable reading for young people and incorporated into school education. However, their active introduction in the public sphere alone does not explain their popularity. Chinese readers seem to have become deeply emotionally involved in the protagonist’s unsuccessful love affair with Tonya, a young girl whose bourgeois gestures and characterization must have been considered negative. As a result, the Soviet ideological novel has brought an unexpected meaning of European-style romantic love for Chinese readers. This presentation will trace the reception of Ostrovsky’s novel and the changes in the heroine Tonya’s image by comparing five adaptations: two Soviet films in 1942 and 1957, a Chinese lianhuanhua (serial picture book) in 1972, a Japanese manga in 1975, and a Chinese TV drama in 1999.

Description: В монографии демонстрируется возможность изучать современный поэтический язык не только с точки зрения эстетической функции, но и креативной, воздействие которой предполагает создание новых форм и неожиданных сочетаний при передаче разнообразной текстовой информации. Для исследования выбран поуровневый метод описания. На иллюстративных примерах показывается, как креативность проявляет себя на разных уровнях организации текста: фонетико-орфографическом, словообразовательном, лексико-семантическом, грамматическом – и как уровни взаимодействуют друг с другом. На уровне же целого текста важными параметрами становятся субъектная организация и взаимодействие текста с другими текстами.

Description: Title in English: Motivation Support in Teaching German as a Foreign Language (and Beyond) With regard to the proven significant impact of motivation on learning processes and their success, promoting learner’s motivation can be described as an important part of pedagogical activity. The current book presents research investigations into learners’ motivation in learning German as a foreign language. A qualitative research design conducted as a multi-case study was chosen in order to gain a deeper insight into the issue of motivation. The results obtained showed the wide scope of teachers’ motivating influence on their learners. Many of the existing findings on motivation could be verified. Moreover, the specifics of motivation towards German as a second foreign language as well as the culturally conditioned specifics concerning Czech learners’ attitudes towards the German language have been highlighted.

Description: Title in English: The future of metropolitan cooperation in the czech republic: development, governance, management Metropolitan regions are engines of economic growth, where research, innovation, technology and creative human potential are concentrated. The cooperation of municipalities in metropolitan regions in economically developed Europe dates back to the mid-1990s, while in the Czech Republic this new form of cooperation has been discussed more intensively since 2014, when three metropolitan areas and ten urban agglomerations were defined. However, there is still no systemic coordination of the problems and needs of metropolitan areas. The first activities aimed at real strengthening of metropolitan cooperation and development took place in the Brno Metropolitan Area within the framework of the TAČR ÉTA project “Institutionalization of metropolitan cooperation as a factor to increase the motivation of municipalities to cooperate in metropolitan areas”. The aim of the publication is to present the results of the project, experiences from abroad and their possible application in the Czech environment, as well as real steps to set up metropolitan inter-municipal cooperation.

Description: The word orphan, derived from the root “yütm” meaning “to be alone, to be left alone”, expresses the uniqueness of the object. Being an orphan can be understood as a child being unprotected in terms of meeting his/her basic needs and observing his/her rights. Although the duty of protection and support is traditionally attributed to the father, it would be more appropriate to understand the concept of an orphan as a child who has lost material and spiritual support that would protect him from dangers even if his parents are alive. The fact that the term orphan is used in daily language in our civilization to evoke this situation also confirms the meaning. Our Holy Qur’an emphasizes the importance of protecting the rights of certain social groups to strengthen justice and solidarity in society. In the process of building a just and peaceful world, the poor, stranded travelers, close relatives, neighbors, and the needy can be immediately listed among these groups whose rights should be respected first and foremost. Among these groups, orphans are another group that is particularly emphasized. Orphanhood is not only associated with not being wealthy. Since orphanhood is used for children who are not capable of protecting and defending their rights, it is also a concept directly related to children’s rights. Therefore, treating the phenomenon of orphanhood within child rights will significantly contribute to understanding rights and freedom. A system of thought based on the protection of all children in this situation and the institutionalization of social solidarity in light of this can initiate a process that will bring about a perspective and institutionalization that can be extended to all rights. For all these reasons, it is of great importance that the Symposium on Orphans and Abandoned Children, which deals with the phenomenon of orphanhood from a scientific point of view and brings together academics, experts, and practitioners from different disciplines related to the subject, was organized on the World Children’s Day and that the academic papers here have been published as a book.

Yüce kitabımız Kur’an-ı Kerim toplumda adaletin ve dayanışmanın güçlenmesi için bazı sosyal grupların haklarının gözetilmesinin önemine vurgu yapmaktadır. Description: The aim of the research report is to present the results of the representative survey carried out in the RESTABUS project. This survey is the first of its kind and scope in the Czech Republic in its focus on mapping the prevalence of elder abuse, exploitation, neglect, other violence and undermining of dignity of older people (EAN). The survey was carried out among 2687 respondents aged 65 to 99 years living at home (outside residential care) and is representative of the older population in the Czech Republic. The topic of EAN is complemented by issues of the perceived prevalence of EAN in the public space, capturing attitudes towards restorative justice, and early trauma incidents (experience of violence in childhood and middle age). Thus, the research not only describes the level of prevalence of violence and ill-treatment of older people in the Czech Republic, but also maps the impact of experienced incidents on the quality of life of persons at risk, ascertains the attitudes of the older people towards the functionality of available forms of help and support, and suggests the direction of their possible further development. The report includes a methodological section, a results section and a tabular annex.

Description: Vladivostok is likened to the Bosphorus. The remoteness of the Far East made it difficult for the European part of the Russian Empire to recognise Vladivostok geographically. Therefore, through analogy to the Mediterranean, it was consciously integrated into the state. On the other hand, by using kanji combinations, which evoke images of traditional Japanese poetry, the Japanese created a sense of familiarity with Vladivostok. In most cases, regarding the social situation during the Revolutionary and Intervention War periods, researchers’ interest was restricted to the scheme of the conflict between the Red Army and the White Army and the victory or defeat of the October Revolution. However, more than 30 years after the dissolution of the USSR, the events of this period are now being examined by scholars mainly from the perspective of the residents and outsiders in various regions who, without knowing the consequences of the revolution, were both anticipating and anxious about significant social changes. The multicultural nature of the Far East is being discussed on the occasion of the centenary of the Siberian exodus. This article examines the cultural situation in and around Vladivostok, focusing on developments such as the education system and modernist currents in the arts. Vladivostok served as both an entrance to Siberia for the Japanese or other foreign troops and an exit for emigres.

Description: Reception of Russian Literature of the Silver Age in China. In the late 20th century, there emerged a significant cultural fervor for the Russian literature of the Silver Age within Chinese academic circles, primarily focused on literary studies. This article examines the history of translating Russian literature of the Silver Age in China and its level of research development. It is revealed that, on one hand, the initial attempts at translating literary works of the Silver Age into Chinese began in the first half of the 20th century, with notable activity during the May Fourth Movement and towards the end of the 20th century. Consequently, works by well-known writers had more opportunities to be translated into Chinese and gain attention from the academic community, while many works by lesser-known authors remained overlooked. On the other hand, Chinese scholars’ research on Russian literature of the Silver Age encompasses various literary genres such as poetry, novels, and dramas, with a focus on individual writers and their works. However, comprehensive and systematic studies in this field are still lacking. The examination of the history of translation and the level of research on Russian literature of the Silver Age in China contributes to academic progress, facilitates exchange and collaboration among scholars, provides reference materials and recommendations, and establishes a foundation for further in-depth research.

Description: Cumhuriyetimizin yüzüncü yıldönümünü idrak ettiğimiz 2023 yılında Türkiye Ekonomisi’nin yüz yıllık yolculuğunun çeşitli yönleriyle incelenmesi ve böylece Fakültemizin ilk iktisat kongresinden itibaren atılmaya başlanan kuruluş tohumlarının 1936 yılında filizlenmesiyle Türkiye Ekonomisi’nin fikri sahada en önemli aktörü olan İktisat Fakültemizin de Cumhuriyetimizin ikinci yüzyılına girerken, geçen yüzyılın önemli tanıklarından biri olması hasebiyle geniş kurumsal kültürü ve yetkin kadrosuyla tanıklığını dillendirme görev ve sorumluğunun bulunduğuna şüphe yoktur. Fakültemizin bu anlamlı yılda her biri kendi alanında birbirinden değerli yazıların yer aldığı bu esere imza atması hepimiz için büyük bir gurur ve memnuniyet vesilesi olmuştur. Kitapta Cumhuriyetimizin ilk yüz yılında Türkiye Ekonomisi; mali, siyasi, hukuki, sosyolojik ve davranış bilimleriyle ilişkisi ve etkileşimi çerçevesinde ele alınmış ve böylece bu döneme global bir perspektiften yaklaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Description: Since COVID-19 entered our lives, it has affected our social life, our working life, our lifestyle, our patient care services, our research, and even our behavioral style. Moreover, this epidemic has affected not only one country but also all countries of the world at the same time and with a similar intensity. Almost the health systems of the countries were tested with a test consisting of the same questions. During the pandemic, many unknown equations were intertwined. We had so many unknowns at the beginning of the epidemic. We did not yet clearly know how we approached patients, how to treat them, and what drugs should be given. Over the past two years, much research and many experiences have taught us how to behave against the disease. During the pandemic, we learned by experience how damaging information pollution can be. The epidemic also showed us the vaccine wars. We have seen how valuable the vaccines we use to get rid of the epidemic are, how developed countries have entered vaccine wars, and the change in the dynamics of the epidemic with vaccination. The years 2020-2022 will be defined as the epidemic years. During this epidemic, we saw that it was precious for physicians to get the correct information. This source has been tried to be created thanks to the fact that it has written down the experiences gained by experiencing this epidemic in person. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our friends who contributed to the creation of the book. We hope this book will benefit readers.

Description: COVID-19 hayatımıza girdiği tarihten beri sosyal hayatımızı, çalışma hayatımızı, yaşayışımızı, hasta bakım hizmetlerini, araştırmalarımızı ve hatta davranış tarzımızı etkiledi. Üstelik bu öyle bir salgın ki sadece bir ülkede değil, bütün dünya ülkelerinde aynı zamanda ve benzer yoğunlukta etkilendi. Adeta ülkelerin sağlık sistemleri aynı sorulardan oluşan bir sınavla sınandı. Salgın sırasında birçok bilinmeyen denklem iç içe idi. Salgın başında o kadar çok bilinmeyenimiz vardı ki. Hastalara nasıl yaklaştığımızı, nasıl tedavi vereceğimizi ve hangi ilaçların verilmesi gerektiğini henüz net bir şekilde bilmiyorduk. Geçen iki yıl zarfında birçok araştırma ve birçok deneyim bizim hastalığa karşı nasıl davranmamız gerektiğini öğretti. Salgın sırasında bilgi kirliliğinin ne kadar zarar verebilir olduğunu yaşayarak öğrendik. Salgın bize birde aşı savaşlarını gösterdi. Salgından kurtulmak için kullandığımız aşıların ne kadar değerli olduğunu, gelişmiş ülkelerin nasıl aşı savaşlarına girdiğini aşılama ile beraber salgın dinamiklerindeki değişimi gördük. 2020-2022 yılları salgın yılları olarak tanımlanacaktır. Bu salgın sırasında hekimlerin doğru bilgilerin ulaşmasının çok değerli olduğunu gördük. Elinizdeki bu kaynak salgını bizzat yaşayarak elde edilen tecrübelerini yazıya dökmesi sayesinde oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Kitabın oluşturulmasındaki emeği olan tüm arkadaşlarımıza içten teşekkürlerimizi arz ediyoruz. Bu kitabın okuyuculara fayda getirmesini diliyoruz. Description: Kniha Mezi Markem Marci a Löwem z Erlsfeldu je prvním monografickým pojednáním o obsahu výuky na pražské lékařské fakultě v době barokní; titul odkazuje ke dvěma významným českým profesorům medicíny té doby. Výklad je chronologicky rámován obnovením lékařské fakulty po bitvě na Bílé hoře a počátkem vlády císařovny Marie Terezie (1740). Čtenář se nejprve dozví, co a z jakých učebnic se v pobělohorské době v Praze studovalo, včetně širšího kontextu dobové medicíny ve srovnání s fakultami v cizině. Dále se studie detailněji zaměřila na některé aspekty lékařských teorií v díle Jana Marka Marci z Kronlandu, např. na historii počátků středoevropského očkování proti neštovicím. Součástí pojednání je i podrobný rozbor prolínání lékařských teorií s dobovou filozofií. Nechybí ani popis postupného šíření objevu krevního oběhu ve středoevropské lékařské literatuře, na němž lze dobře pozorovat, jak se v baroku medicína postupně modernizovala. Práce rehabilituje baroko tradičně vykládané jako doba „temna“, neboť ukazuje, jak se lékařská učenost onoho období v Praze originálně rozvíjela a jak vzkvétala.

Description: Turkic World studies seem to be a topic that attracts scientific attention day by day. The continuous increase in cooperation, rapprochement, and mobility between Turkish-speaking countries and communities since 1991 might be shown as the main dynamic behind this interest. The richness of the Turkic Republics in terms of natural resources, their location on the energy and transportation corridors, the change of the balances in the Caucasus with the Second Karabakh War in 2020, and the transition of the Turkic Council from a cooperation organization to an interstate organization in 2021 under the name of the "Organization of Turkic States" also accelerate the work of the Turkic World. In the meantime, the popularization of some geopolitical determinations and predictions in the context of scientific interest in the region can be shown as an important factor. Similar to the rise of Europe in the industrial age, we can talk about the rise of Asia in the information age. The sources of political and economic power are shifting to Asian geopolitics and this process continues to strengthen. Such analyses and predictions, which bring to the agenda that in the 2050s, Asia will regain its former central position also encourage academic interest in Central Asia. This book is the product of the goal of creating an original work for the Turkish World with gap-filling parameters and process analyses determined by a meticulous preliminary study in the light of the mentioned background. In this direction, three basic perspectives such as the effort to determine the capacities of the countries with comparative analyses, to look at the Turkish World from the perspective of problems, and to embody the Turkish World based on the community, autonomous region, and country sections dominate the work. With comparative analyses, it has been tried to embody the capacities of the countries within the parameters such as sustainable development potential, transportation systems, scientific performance, evolution in the political system, education system, and values of education. On the other hand, the crises affecting the Turkic World were discussed with the analysis of Karabakh, which is the main crisis, and the Russia-Ukraine War, which is the current crisis. On the other hand, the analysis of the thirty-year process in the Turkish World, starting from the scales of the community, autonomous region, and country, was carried out through the examples of Georgia, Tatarstan, and Uzbekistan.

For a good professional training of students, teaching materials should be flexible and up-to-date, they should present the language actually used in everyday communication in any sphere of life and work. This textbook applies the model of communicative analysis of N.S. Valgina to the analysis of written texts of mostly non-literary type, which promotes the development of analytical competence at the textual, linguistic and stylistic levels. Description: Yaşlanma, hayatın kaçınılmaz ve ertelenemez bir parçasıdır. Yaşlanma ile birlikte hücrelerimizde ve organlarımızda fonksiyonel ve yapısal önemli değişiklikler olmaktadır. Dünyada 20.Yüzyılın başında başlayan hızlı nüfus artışı ile birlikte yaşam şartlarında düzelme ve tedavi seçeneklerinin artması yaşlı nüfus sayısının da artmasına neden olmuştur. 2030 yılında, dünya üzerinde her altı kişiden birinin 60 yaş üzerinde olacağı öngörülmüştür. 80 yaş üzerindeki bireylerin ise 426 milyon olması beklenmektedir. Bu artış nedeniyle tek başına “yaşlı” kavramı yeterli olmamış, genç yaşlılık (65-74 yaş), orta yaşlılık (75-84 yaş) ileri yaşlılık (〉85 yaş) kavramlarının kullanılması gerektiği öne sürülmüştür. Bir ülkenin yaşlı nüfusunun toplam nüfusa oranı %8-10 arasında olması ülkenin ‘’yaşlı’’, %10 üzerinde olması ‘’çok yaşlı’’ olduğu anlamına gelmektedir. Ülkemizde bu oranın 2050 yılından %20.8 olması beklenmektedir. 2030 yılında ise ortalama yaşam süresi 74-79 yıl olacaktır. Yaşlanmanın toplumlarda artışı bazı sağlık sorunlarının daha sık görülmesine neden olmaktadır. Buna paralel olarak 65 yaş üzerindeki bireylerin dahili hastalıkları, psikososyal yaşamları ve beraberinde koruyucu sağlık hizmetleri ile ilgilenen geriatri bilim dalı giderek artan bir öneme sahip olmaktadır. Yaşlanma, diğer organ sistemlerinde olduğu gibi böbreklerde de moleküler, fonksiyonel ve yapısal değişikliklere neden olmaktadır. Yaşlanmaya yanıt olarak böbreklerde hemodinamik ve fizyolojik önemli değişiklikler ortaya çıkar. İyileşme süresi uzar, hasarlanmaya dayanma yeteneği azalır. Ayrıca yaşla birlikte artan ve böbrek hastalıklarının en önemli nedenlerinden olan hipertansiyon ve diyabet gibi hastalıklarda akut ve kronik böbrek hastalığının yaşlılarda daha sık görülmesine neden olur. Yaşlılarda, böbrek hastalığının yanı sıra çoklu hastalıkların birlikte olması, polifarmasi ihtiyacı, ilaç metabolizmasının karaciğer fonksiyonlarındaki değişiklikler gibi çeşitli nedenlerle farklılaşması nefrologların ya da böbrek hastalıklarının tedavisi ile uğraşan hekimlerin günlük pratiklerinde göz önünde bulundurmaları gereken kavramlardır. Ne yazık ki geriatrik nefroloji kavramı, nefroloji ve İç hastalıkları eğitimi içinde yeterli öneme kavuşamamıştır. Ülkemizde ve dünya da geriatrik nefroloji alanında az sayıda bilimsel çalışma mevcuttur. Konuyla ilgili başvuru kitabı ise hemen hemen hiç yoktur. Bu alandaki boşluğu kısmen de olsa doldurmayı amaçlayan bu kitap nefroloji ve geriatri bilim dallarında çalışan bilim insanlarının katkıları ve özverileriyle oluşmuştur.

Description: With the onset of integration of web technologies into our lives, a global transformation process has been triggered and traditional approaches have tended to evolve into digital organisms as a past aspect of the millennium line. The one-way information transfer process, which was activated with the Web 1.0 era, took root on the basis of content sharing and 'collaboration' with Web 2.0, and was characterized in a 'smart' and 'individualized' form with the Web 3.0, and eventually ended up searching for an artificial intelligence-oriented direction. The developments in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing algorithms, on the other hand, were crowned with the Web 4.0 technology, and the artificial intelligence-based virtual reality atmospheres became the center of attention as the new phenomenon of digital. As far as the relevant perspective is concerned, it is possible to say that today's modernization standards are shaped within the framework of technology. While the parameters of the 'new generation world' are built on the digital plane, the 'new generation of people' generations develop specifically in the skills of this plane.

Bu paradigmaların öğrenme ortamlarına yansımasıyla geleneksel sınıf atmosferleri algısında radikal değişikliklerin meydana geldiğini söylemek mümkündür. Dijital eğitim uygulamaları, yüz yüze eğitim metodunun bir alternatifi olmanın ötesinde pedagojinin başat unsuru olma yönünde hızla gelişim gösterirken öğretmen ve öğrenci arasındaki etkileşim süreci, çevrim içi merkezli öğretim tasarımları merceğinde desenlenme dönüşümü göstermektedir. Dil eğitimi sahası da ilgili entegrasyondan etkilenmekte ve yeni nesil dil becerileri, dijital yeterlikler ekseninde evrim geçirme haliyle karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Dolayısıyla yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi olgusu, yabancı dil olarak dijital Türkçe öğretimi çerçevesinde kavramsallaşmakta; bir başka deyişle teknoloji tabanlı beceriler odaklı örnek dil tanımlayıcılarıyla (illustrative descriptors) betimlenme eğilimi sergilemektedir. Çalışmada yer alan bölüm içeriklerinin belirli bir kompozisyon ve tutarlılık dahilinde sunulması adına farklı bölümlerde yer alan aynı dijital araçların birbirinden farkı işlev ve detaylı açıklamalarına ilişkin dipnotlar aracılığıyla köprüler oluşturularak bölümler arası bütünlük oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Description: V západní Evropě sice volební volatilita za posledních třicet až čtyřicet let významně narostla, skutečnou explozi voličské nestability ovšem spojujeme se zeměmi bývalého komunistického bloku ve východní Evropě. Tato publikace se proto zaměřuje na výzkum volební volatility v 11 postkomunistických státech střední a východní Evropy od roku 1990 do roku 2020. Volební volatilitu studie chápe jako změnu voličské preference ve volbách jdoucích po sobě. Jelikož přechody voličů mezi stranami se odehrávají všemi různými směry, rozhodli se autoři zaměřit svou výzkumnou pozornost na ty, které považují v postkomunistickém kontextu za nejdůležitější v celkové sumě všech voličských přechodů. Zaprvé se jedná o hlasování pro nové strany a tedy přechody voličů k novým stranám. Zadruhé jsou vyčleněny přechody voličů od vládních stran. Oba procesy (ztráty vládních stran a zisky nových stran) podstatným způsobem přispívají k výši volební volatility. Celková úroveň agregované volební volatility dosahovala v postkomunistických státech průměrné hodnoty 31 procent. Agregovaná volatilita je měřena na základě změny v podpoře jednotlivých stran v po sobě jdoucích volbách a představuje nejnižší nutný podíl přechodů mezi stranami, který je nutný, aby mohly nastat reálné volební výsledky ve volbách jdoucích po sobě. Na individuální úrovni jsou přechody ještě četnější. Na základě analýzy individuálních dat z dotazníkových šetření autoři zjistili, že průměrná voličská volatilita dosahovala dokonce 44 procent. Téměř každý druhý volič změnil svou preferenci. Volatilita na individuální úrovni je tak mnohem vyšší, než potvrzují analýzy volebních výsledků. Jak měřit a zkoumat volební volatilitu? Proč vznikají nové strany? A co ovlivňuje jejich volební úspěšnost? Získávaly nové strany větší podporu v době po přechodu k demokracii nebo spíše v poslední době? Přispívají k volatilitě spíše vládní nebo opoziční strany? A nakolik je volební volatilita způsobena ztrátami vládních stran?

Description: Korehito Kurahara and “Proletarian Realism”: Proletarian Literature in Japan in 1920s. This paper examines the proletarian literature movement that emerged in Japan in the 1920s, focusing on Korehito Kurahara, a leading proponent. Kurahara studied Russian literature and his theory, “proletarian realism,” was based on concepts promoted by the Russian Association of Proletarian Writers (RAPP). The paper analyzes two of Kurahara’s works from which proletarian realism originated. Both works are based on arguments between leaders of the proletarian writers’ organization and A. Volonsky. After Kurahara, Japan attempted to interpret proletarian literature from the perspective of literary history, which Kurahara incorporated into Japanese literature based on RAPP discussions. This suggests that Japanese proletarian literary theory developed under the influence of the Soviet Union.

Makarenko’s Pedagogical Poem in the Stalin era was perceived as a eulogy to the collective, while in late Soviet times the dominance of the collective and the tendency to violent solutions already irritated the Russian reader. The German historian Goetz Hillig saw Makarenko as a world pedagogical genius, created his scientific biography, and published a scholarly edition of his writings in German. Description: The Ukrainian Theme in the Legacy of Vladimir (Ze’ev) Jabotinsky. Vladimir (Ze’ev) Jabotinsky (1880-1940) combined the characteristics of a convinced individualist, a nationalist-statist, and an equally convinced liberal with a tendency toward anarchism. He respected every people’s struggle for independence and called nationalism “the individualism of nations”. In his prose, essays and journalism, Jabotinsky was able to synthesize rational analysis with fearless intuition. This combination enabled him to predict both World Wars I and II and the Holocaust, long before Hitler invaded Poland. As a young man he lived for several years in Italy, which he considered his spiritual homeland. His views were formed, on the one hand, under the influence of Italian socialists, Garibaldi and Italian culture in general, and, on the other hand, under the influence of Ukrainian socialists, champions of independence. He maintained friendly contacts with some of them because he combined his Zionism with Ukrainianophilia, which survived despite the monstrous Jewish pogroms organized by the Petlyura troops in 1919-20. A special theme touched upon in the report is the supposed echoes of Ukrainian spontaneous individualism in Jabotinsky’s anarchist tendencies.

Description: “Learn from Gorky”: “conversion” of Japanese proletarian wrier Tokunaga Sunao. In the proletarian literary movement that flourished in Japan in the 1920s and 1930s, the main goal of proletarian literature was considered for intellectual writers to awaken the will to revolution in working readers. The writer from working class Sunao Tokunaga after the collapse of the revolutionary movement in 1933 began to write stories based on the life and attitude of the working people, offering to “learn from Gorky” and his autobiographical works that depicted the behavior and attitude of people at the bottom of society. At the same time, Tokunaga was involved in the colonial movement of the Japanese Empire of that time, because he, as a result of identification with the Japanese workers, lost sight of the expulsion and oppression of the indigenous people in Manchuria.

Description: Title in English: How do I cope?: Influence of school and family stressors on students aged 14–19 The publication deals with the influence of risk factors of the school and family environment on the ability of adolescent aged 14–19 to cope with stressful situations. After theoretical introductory part the main part of the publication presents the conclusions of a quantitative research survey monitoring the influence of selected stress factors (i.e. factors of the school and family environment) on the occurrence of psychosomatic difficulties, the character of coping strategies and the psychohygienic habits of the monitored group of adolescent pupils. These parameters are compared between groups with regard to their age, place of residence, type of school and the presence of specific learning disabilities. Presented outcomes can serve both pedagogical and counselling staff in school practice, as well as parents and the wider public.

Description: The Mamluks (648-923/1250-1517), who ruled Egypt, Syria, and the Hijaz region, are considered to be one of the most important Muslim-Turkish states in Islamic history because they put an end to the Crusader threat in Syria and stopped the westward advance of the Mongols (Ilkhanids) who had destroyed the eastern part of the Islamic world. The Mamluks’ establishment of security and stability in their lands enabled the ulama, who were affected by the political turmoil in Andalusia and Anatolia, as well as central Iraq and Iran in the early 7th/13th century, to turn to the Egyptian-Sham region. In addition to the political stability they created, the Mamluks built many scientific institutions in cities such as Cairo, Damascus, Aleppo, and Jerusalem. They provided wide opportunities to scholars, making these cities the most important centers of knowledge. The rich scholarly environment in Egypt and Damascus, which attracted many scholars from various parts of the Islamic world, paved the way for the writing of many works in almost every field of Islamic sciences and the emergence of new and voluminous encyclopedic genres. Thus, an enormous amount of literature was created in fiqh, hadith, tafsīr, kalām, mysticism, philosophy, logic, qirāʾa, sīra, history, and tabāqat. The understanding and interpretation of this literature, which is the result of an unprecedented scholarly effort in Islamic history, requires the contribution of many researchers in different fields. As a result of this need, interest in the scholarly and cultural accumulation of the Mamluk period is increasing both in international academic circles and in our country. Although the number and quality of studies on the political history of the Mamluks are not yet at the desired level, some studies have been conducted in the Turkish literature. However, research on the ulama, scientific institutions, types of works, and the status of Islamic sciences during the Mamluk period is still in its infancy. To overcome this deficiency to some extent, the Institute of Islamic Studies at Istanbul University (then known as the Center for Islamic Studies at Istanbul University) organized a workshop titled Islamic Sciences in the Mamluk Period on 19-20 September 2019. Thus, it was aimed to evaluate the status of the studies on the ulama and Islamic sciences related to the Mamluk period, to propose new research topics in the areas of need, to ensure cooperation among those interested in this field, and to create a basis for future studies. At the end of this workshop, the need to organize an international meeting with wide participation in the scholarly tradition in the Mamluk period was expressed. For this purpose, an international symposium titled The Tradition of Knowledge in the Mamluk Period-I (13th and 14th Centuries) was organized on September 28-29, 2021, hosted by Istanbul University in cooperation with the Institute of Islamic Studies at Istanbul University and the Foundation for Research in Islamic Sciences (ISAV). In the symposium, many researchers made presentations on tafsīr, hadith, fiqh, historiography, philosophy, kalām, mysticism, culture-literature, ulama, and scientific institutions. This book was formed by revising some of the papers presented at the symposium during the publication phase. The full text of the relevant papers has been reviewed and turned into articles. The thematically re-planned book consists of seven chapters: Qurʾānic Sciences and Tafsīr, Fiqh Thought and Literature, Hanafi Fiqh and Hadith Studies, Kalām, History and Sīra Writing, Language and Literature, Scientific Institutions and Ulama. Description: Moscow at the turn of history. About the “toponymic upheaval” and not only. The article digs into the urban (and political) geography of Moscow and how this is perceived in Italy in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union. In particular, the investigation will focus on a number of volumes related to the late Soviet era that were published in Italy between the late 1980s and the mid-1990s. The authors are mainly newspaper and TV correspondents: Vittorio Zucconi (1944-2019, Il Corriere della sera, Si fa presto a dire Russia); Demetrio Volcic (1931-2021, RAI, Mosca. I giorni della fine); Enrico Franceschini (1956, La Repubblica) who is both a journalist (La fine dell'impero. Ultimo viaggio in URSS) and a novelist (La donna della Piazza Rossa). However, the texts index also includes a politician, Giulio Andreotti (L’URSS vista da vicino. Dalla guerra fredda a Gorbaciov), and a comic character, Mickey Mouse, who, in an October 1988 issue number, shows how in the years of perestroika people looked at the nascent (dying) country with both fear and curiosity. All the authors, regardless of their profession and orientation, have the feeling that they are also witnessing history through urban geography; it is no coincidence that all the texts analyzed, to varying extents, “photograph” buildings, streets, monuments... that is to say , “places,” which may be “old,” i.e. inherited from previous travelers or the result of historical, political or literary reminiscences, or “new” places, where a new path of history is being written.

Description: Title in English: Research in foreign language didactics V This publication presents an empirical research of pronunciation mistakes of Czech students learning German as a second foreign language at elementary school. The aim of the research was to verify the extent of the students’ pronunciation difficulties with German pronunciation phenomena error-prone for Czech native speakers. The research determined in what way these errors manifest themselves in the transfer from the students’ previously acquired languages, i.e. their mother tongue (Czech) and the first foreign language learnt (English). Within the theoretical foundation, the focus is put on different concepts of pronunciation in terms of foreign language teaching objectives, definitions of language errors and their causes, the development of the German pronunciation standard and methodological approaches to error analysis.

Bu sorunlar özellikle son yıllarda “Gıda Güvenliği” teriminin toplum açısından önem kazanmasına neden olmuştur. Tüm bu bilinçlenme ve hazır tüketime yönelik gelişmelerle birlikte su ürünlerinin gıda güvenliği ve kalite korunumu bakımından hassasiyeti ile çevresel faktörlerden kolay etkilendikleri için üretimden tüketime kadar her aşamada dikkat ve özen gösterilmesi gerektiğini de ortaya koymaktadır. Description: İstanbul Üniversitesi Yayınları’nın çağrısı üzerine hazırladığımız ve Cumhuriyetin 100.yılına armağan etmek istediğimiz bu küçük çalışmamızı hatırat, anılar ve bu alandaki yazınla ilgilenen meslektaşlarımızın ve meraklı okurların ilgisine sunuyoruz. Toplumsal hafıza ve hafızanın üretimi, siyaseti üzerine düşünürken geç Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemi anılarını uzun zamandır okuyor ve bu konu üzerinde çalışıyorduk. Bu kapsamda çeşitli alanlara yayılmış anıları inceledik: erkekler ve kadınlar tarafından kaleme alınmış, farklı toplumsal grupların deneyimlerini yansıtan anıların yanı sıra tematik olarak da İstanbul, belirli siyasal olaylar ve meslek gruplarının anılarını eleştirel bir gözle okuduk, tartıştık. Toplumsal hiyerarşinin en üstünde yer alan kişilerin, devlet adamı, asker, diplomat, siyasetçi ve edebiyatçı anılarının yanı sıra farklı toplumsal sınıflara mensup insanların anılarını okurken farklı din, dil ve etnik gruplardan kişilerin kendilerini nasıl ifade ettiğini izlemeye çalıştık. Bu küçük çalışmamızda öncelikle hatırat/anı türünü, yaşam öyküsü anlatılarını tarihsel geçmiş, erken ve modern örnekler, batı ve batı dışı ülkelerdeki ilgili yazın ışığında gözden geçirdik. Cumhuriyet Türkiye’sini, dönemler, gelişmeler ve sorunlarını, öne çıkan temaları, tartışma ve modaları, değişen mekânı geç Osmanlı döneminden başlayarak anılar yardımıyla bir kez daha okuyabileceğimizi hatırlatmak istedik. Geç Osmanlı dönemi derken 1908 ve sonrasını esas almak, Büyük Savaş ve Cumhuriyetin kuruluşunu, İstanbul, İzmir ve Ankara’da yaşayan ve anıları yayınlanmış aydınlar, sanatçı ve siyasetçiler, gazeteciler, anılarını kaleme almış sıradan insanların gözünden izlemek bize önemli ve öğretici geliyor. Bu insanların kişisel ve grupsal anlatıları, aile deneyimleri bize tarihi daha insani, daha içeriden, yaşayanların tecrübesiyle ete kemiğe büründürüyor, daha anlaşılır kılıyor. Bunu en iyi yapabileceğimiz aracın kişilerin yaşam öyküsü anlatıları ve anıları olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Anılarını yazanların aile öykülerinden başlayarak geçmişlerini nasıl ele aldıkları, dönemleri ve deneyimlerini nasıl değerlendirdikleri, yorumladıkları tarih ve siyaset açısından kıymeti çoğu kez bilinmeyen bir önem ve değer taşıyor. Elbette anıları bir tarihsel belge olarak kullanmak, gerçekliğe referans olarak bakmak çeşitli sorunlar taşıyor. Bilimsel tarih çalışmaları ile hafıza, anılar ve anlatılar arasında gidip gelen, edebi türlere yakın duran, bireysel, düşünsel farklılıklar, kırılmalar, tercihler ve yorum farklılıkları içeren bir tür, yaşam öyküsü anlatıları. Çalışmamızın amaçları arasında tarih yazımı ile bu türden kişisel anlatıların, hayat öyküleri ve anıların niteliği üzerine düşünmek ve çalışmak da yer aldı. Bu anlamda yöntem üzerine de düşündük ve bu konuya da çalışmamızda değindik. Tüm eksiklikleri, görüş ve deneyim farklılıkları ve yazılış amaçlarına bağlı olarak kırılmış merceklerden bakış açılarına karşın anıların ülkemizin yakın tarihine, Cumhuriyet tarihine ışık tutacak nitelikte ve canlılıkta olduklarını düşüncesiyle tarihi bir de yaşayanların gözünden, onlar açısından, gerçek insanların deneyimleri ışığında düşünmek ve tartışmakta yarar olduğunu iddia ediyoruz. Çalışmamızın özgün yanlarından en önemlisi bu konuda bir bibliyografya hazırlamış olmamız. Bibliyografya çalışmasının bu alanda araştırma yapan meslektaşlarımıza, öğrencilerimize, anı okurlarına, konuyla ilgili herkese yararlı olmasını umuyoruz.

Description: Eine Teilung des deutschen Marktgebietes würde die Marktwerte erneuerbarer Energien beeinflussen. Wind und Photovoltaik (PV) im Süden Deutschlands würden an Wert gewinnen, während Erneuerbare im Norden Erlöse einbüßen würden. Bei einer auch zukünftig stärkeren Konzentration von erneuerbaren Energien im Norden bedeutet dies insgesamt einen höheren Förderbedarf für PV – Wind wäre trotz niedriger Marktwerte in den meisten Regionen wirtschaftlich. Wenn eine regionale Steuerung erreicht werden soll, müsste die auszuzahlende Förderung für neue PV-Anlagen anhand des zonenübergreifenden Referenzmarktwertes berechnet werden. Durchschnittliche Börsenstrompreise würden durch eine Gebotszonenteilung im Süden Deutschlands leicht angehoben und im Norden gesenkt, die Effekte auf Endkundenpreise und damit verbundene Anreize zur Standortwahl von Industrieunternehmen sind allerdings als gering einzuschätzen.

Description: Die Energiewende sorgt für einen Paradigmenwechsel von einem grundlastbasierten zu einem flexiblen Stromsystem. Die zentralen Treiber für den zunehmenden Flexibilitätsbedarf sind die Stromerzeugung durch Wind und Sonne sowie die weiterhin bestehende unflexible Stromnachfrage, die gedeckt werden muss. Die vorliegende Studie analysiert, wie im Zeitverlauf bis zum Jahr 2045 der Flexibilitätsbedarf zunimmt und wie die Betriebsweisen der verschiedenen Technologien sich anpassen können. In der Studie wird auf das Energiesystemmodell REMod zurückgegriffen, mit dem eine Analyse über die intersektorale Flexibilität bis zum Jahr 2045 möglich ist. Für kurzfristige Flexibilität können in dieser Betrachtung zum Beispiel Batterien sowie Stromimporte und -exporte eingesetzt werden. Durch die Sektorenkopplung kann bei der Wärmebereitstellung in Gebäuden ebenfalls ein erheblich angepasstes Lastmanagement erfolgen. Ein höherer Anteil an Flexibilität kann jedoch durch Stromaufnahme in Elektrolyseanlagen und die Nutzung von Power-to-X-Kraftstoffen erfolgen. So können während längerer Dunkelflauten flexible Backup-Gasturbinen eingesetzt werden, um die Versorgungssicherheit zu gewährleisten. Um die notwendige Integration der Flexibilitäts-Technologien in den verschiedenen Märkten (insbesondere Strommarkt) und Sektoren voranzutreiben, müssen technische Voraussetzung, Marktregeln sowie Regulatorik in Bezug auf Bau und Betrieb so angepasst werden, dass die Technologien ihr Flexibilitätspotential bestmöglich ausspielen können.

Description: Mit steigendem Anteil fluktuierender Erneuerbarer Energien im Stromsystem steigt auch der Bedarf an steuerbaren Kapazitäten, die Stromangebot und -nachfrage ausgleichen können, so genannte Flexibilitätstechnologien. In dieser Analyse wird der Nutzen von zehn verschiedenen Technologien, die Flexibilität bereitstellen können, für das deutsche Stromsystem im Jahr 2030 ermittelt. Die Nutzenanalyse macht deutlich, dass die Verschiebung von großen Energiemengen über einen längeren Zeitraum (saisonaler Ausgleich) den höchsten spezifischen Nutzen erreicht. Eine Schlüsseltechnologie für das Jahr 2030 sind daher Langzeitspeicher mit großen Speichervolumen, zum Beispiel in Form von Wasserstoff-Kavernenspeichern. Das Fehlen einer hierfür geeigneten Technologie würde zu hohen Effizienzverlusten führen. Die zweite Schlüsseltechnologie ist die steuerbare Leistung von Power-to-Heat1 in Wärmenetzen der allgemeinen Versorgung, die für den täglichen Ausgleich zwischen Nachfrage und erneuerbarer Erzeugung eingesetzt wird. Hier können allerdings auch andere nachfrageseitige Flexibilitäten eine ähnliche Funktion für das Stromsystem übernehmen. Die Analyse zeigt auch, dass die Erschließung der hier betrachteten Flexibilitätstechnologien, zum Beispiel durch den Abbau von regulatorischen Hemmnissen, bis zum Jahr 2030 für das Stromsystem von hoher Relevanz ist. Auch über die angenommenen Potentialgrenzen hinaus bieten insbesondere nachfrageseitige Flexibilitätstechnologien noch einen positiven Nutzen. Eine technologieoffene, marktbasierte Lösung zur Einbindung dieser Flexibilitäten könnte die unterschiedlichen Charakteristika, Nutzenniveaus sowie sich ändernde Rahmenbedingungen effizient berücksichtigen.

Description: Die schnelle und umfassende Emissionsminderung in der Energie- und Kreislaufwirtschaft ist der Schlüssel für die Begrenzung der Erderwärmung auf unter 2 °C. In Deutschland werden entsprechende Politiken seit den 1990er-Jahren verfolgt, allerdings erst in jüngster Vergangenheit mit dem notwendigen Nachdruck und der notwendigen Orientierung hin zu mehr Marktmechanismen. Wesentliche Handlungsfelder sind Energieeinsparung und erhöhte Energieeffizienz, Umstieg auf erneuerbare Energien, Bepreisung von Klimagasen sowie eine Reduzierung und Schließung der Stoffkreisläufe. In allen Handlungsfeldern sind Grundlagen geschaffen, es bleibt jedoch der Großteil des Weges noch zu gehen, um Klimaneutralität zu erreichen. Für einen schnellen Fortschritt spielen neben der Überwindung der technischen, ökonomischen und organisatorischen Herausforderungen auch Verteilungsfragen und die Einbettung in internationale Maßnahmen eine zunehmende Rolle.

Description: Im Kopernikus-Projekt Ariadne wurden zufällig ausgewählte Bürgerinnen und Bürger aus ganz Deutschland in einem Forschungs- und Lernprozess zur Verkehrs- und Stromwende beteiligt. Dieser Lernprozess eröffnete neue Begegnungs- und Reflexionsräume, in denen Forschende und Bürger:innen über verschiedene Politikoptionen zur Energie- und Verkehrswende diskutieren konnten.

Description: Das Einzugsgebiet der Spree ist hydrologisch und wasserwirtschaftlich stark von der Entwicklung von Braunkohleförderung und –verstromung, verbunden mit Grundwasserabsenkungen, Versickerungsverlusten, Sümpfungswassereinleitungen, Kühlwassernutzung in thermischen Kraftwerken sowie Flutung ehemaliger Tagebaue, einem komplexen wasserwirtschaftlichen System und einem kontinentalen Klima geprägt. Im Projekt GLOWA Elbe wurden für das Gebiet Szenarien des globalen Wandels für den Zeitraum 2003 bis 2052 analysiert. Im Jahre 2004 war es das Ergebnis, dass das gegenwärtige System der Wasserbewirtschaftung die Folgen des angenommenen Klimawandels nicht ausgleichen kann. Nach Ablauf der ersten 20 Jahre des Simulationszeitraumes 2003 bis 2022 werden in diesem Artikel die in GLOWA Elbe und weiteren Projekten erzeugten Ergebnisse sowie die genutzten Eingangsdaten, Szenarien und Modelle hinsichtlich ihrer Übereinstimmung mit beobachteten Abflüssen bzw. Witterungsverlauf analysiert. Es zeigt sich, dass die in den Projekten genutzten Bergbauszenarien der Entwicklung bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt entsprechen, während die Szenarien zur klimatischen Entwicklung zum Teil deutlich von den Beobachtungen abweichen. Letzteres hat erhebliche Konsequenzen für die simulierten Abflüsse. Weiterhin kann gezeigt werden, dass auch in stark anthropogen überprägten Flusseinzugsgebieten die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels unter Nutzung hydrologischer und wasserwirtschaftlicher Modelle zuverlässig abgeschätzt werden können, wobei insbesondere die genutzten Klimaszenarien/-modelle eine erhebliche Unsicherheit hervorrufen. Deswegen ist es unabdingbar, in entsprechenden Klimafolgenstudien Eingangsdaten diverser Klimaszenarien/-modelle zu nutzen und die gesamte Bandbreite der hydrologischen/wasserwirtschaftlichen Ergebnisse darzustellen.

Den Autorinnen und Autoren ist bewusst, dass die kommenden sechs Jahre bis 2030 wesentlich sind, um mittel- und langfristig ein ökologisch nachhaltiges und sozial gerechtes Leben auf unserer Erde zu erreichen. Mit den 10MustKnows24 möchten sie durch wissenschaftlich gesicherte Empfehlungen für Politik und Gesellschaft ihren aktiven Beitrag leisten, um die sozial-ökologische Transformation zu beschleunigen.

Description: Wohngebäude sind für 11 % der Treibhausgasemissionen in Deutschland direkt verantwortlich und für bis zu 40 %, wenn Stromverbrauch mit einbezogen wird. Um die Klimaziele gemäß dem Bundes-Klimaschutzgesetz zu erreichen, ist ein höheres Ambitionsniveau der klimapolitischen Maßnahmen in diesem Sektor erforderlich. Dieser Bericht analysiert die Governance der Evaluierungsprozesse von Maßnahmen im deutschen Gebäudesektor. Wir analysieren die Rollen der beteiligten Akteure, das institutionelle Gefüge sowie die angewandten Metriken und Methoden der Evaluierungen.

Description: Wasserstoff wird eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Dekarbonisierung von schwer elektrifizierbaren Sektoren spielen, doch die Produktion von erneuerbarem Wasserstoff steckt noch in der Anfangsphase. Aus diesem Grund wird die Nutzung von kohlenstoffarmem Wasserstoff aus nicht-erneuerbaren Quellen als Übergangslösung auf dem Weg zu einer erneuerbaren Wasserstoffwirtschaft diskutiert. Kohlenstoffarmer Wasserstoff umfasst unterschiedliche Produktionsmethoden, wie die Herstellung aus fossilen Brennstoffen mit nachfolgender Kohlenstoffabscheidung und -speicherung (CCS) oder -nutzung (CCU), sowie die Elektrolyse mit Strom aus Kernenergie. Um eine positive Klimaschutzwirkung durch den Einsatz von kohlenstoffarmem Wasserstoff sicherzustellen, müssen signifikante Reduzierungen von Treibhausgasemissionen (THG) erzielt werden. Dies sollte durch einen kohärenten regulatorischen Rahmen für die Produktion und den Import von kohlenstoffarmem Wasserstoff auf EU-Ebene gewährleistet werden. Diese Analyse gibt demnach Einblicke in den aktuellen Stand der EU-Gesetzgebung zur Produktion und zum Import von kohlenstoffarmem Wasserstoff und untersucht, ob die verbundenen Risiken und Herausforderungen für einen wirksamen Klimaschutz durch den Rechtsrahmen abgedeckt sind. Da jede Produktionsmethode durch unterschiedliche Herausforderungen charakterisiert ist, untersucht die Analyse die jeweiligen Regelungen gasbasierter Wasserstoffproduktion mit CCS, gasbasierter Wasserstoffproduktion mit CCU, sowie die Wasserstoffproduktion mit Kernenergie im Einzelnen. Auf dieser Grundlage werden Empfehlungen für die Entwicklung des regulatorischen Rahmens für innereuropäisch produzierten und importierten kohlenstoffarmem Wasserstoff formuliert.

Description: Wasserstoff ist durch seine vielfältigen Nutzungsmöglichkeiten ein Schlüsselelement der Sektorenkopplung auf dem Weg zur Klimaneutralität. Damit Wasserstoff aber für unterschiedliche, momentan noch nicht abschließend definierte Anwendungsbereiche genutzt werden kann, sind entsprechende technologische Infrastrukturen notwendig. Diese umfassen die Produktion, die Speicherung und den Transport von Wasserstoff. Während bei der Bereitstellung von Wasserstoff konkrete Ziele formuliert wurden und auch hinsichtlich der Anwendungsbereiche deutliche, wenn auch konkurrierende Vorstellungen bestehen, sind bei der Wasserstoffinfrastruktur viele grundsätzliche Fragen offen. Vor diesem Hintergrund diskutiert diese Analyse, unbeschadet der Tatsache, dass bislang weder eine Systementwicklungsplanung noch ein abgeschlossenes Wasserstoffwirtschaftsrecht in Deutschland bestehen, wie viel „System“ und „Planung“ bereits jetzt durch Stakeholder und den einschlägigen Rechtsrahmen mit Blick auf Wasserstoff mitgedacht werden. Dabei orientiert sich die Analyse an folgenden Fragen: Erfolgt die Regulierung in Sachen Wasserstoff bereits jetzt aus der Sicht eines geschlossenen Energiesystems? Sehen die Stakeholder Wasserstoff bereits systemisch und interpretieren sie den bestehenden Rechtsrahmen zur Planung der Infrastrukturen entsprechend? Folgen die Vorstellungen der Wasserstoffinfrastruktur schon jetzt systemischen Ansätzen oder stellen sie vielmehr eine weitere sektorale Infrastruktur und Planung dar? Die vorliegende Analyse zeigt, dass Stakeholder nicht grundsätzlich einen systemischen Blick auf Wasserstoff haben und gerade bei wirtschaftlichen Akteuren teilweise eine sektorale Betrachtung überwiegt. Hier sollte beobachtet werden, in welcher Weise bei der Realisierung des seit dem Sommer 2023 vorliegenden Vorschlag des Wasserstoffkernnetzes (FNB Gas 2023), Nutzerbedarfe in die Planungsprozesse einbezogen werden. Noch weniger berücksichtigen einschlägige Rechtsvorschriften die systemische Bedeutung von Wasserstoff. Beachtenswert ist dabei unter anderem, dass die bestehenden nationalen Vorschriften zur Einführung einer Wasserstoffnetzplanung wenig bis gar keine Bezugnahme zur systemischen Funktionsweise von Wasserstoff aufweisen. Im europäischen Recht entfaltet die Erneuerbare-Energien-Richtlinie durch das Kriterium der Zusätzlichkeit bei neu in Betrieb genommenen Anlagen hingegen durchaus eine vorgelagerte systemische Entscheidungswirkung. In der deutschen Planungspraxis könnte der systemische Aspekt dadurch gestärkt werden, dass Strom- und Wasserstoffnetzplanungen über Einzelaspekte wie Power-to-Gas-Anlagen in Zukunft von vornherein integriert angelegt werden.

Betrachtet werden neben direkten Auswirkungen auch mögliche Folgen für Schadorganismen und Nutztiere sowie die zu erwartende Entwicklung der Agrarproduktion. Entscheidend dafür, wie diese Effekte ausfallen, sind zum einen die Art und Intensität der Klimaveränderungen selbst, zum anderen die Empfindlichkeit der jeweils betrachteten Produktionssysteme und die Implementierung von Anpassungsmaßnahmen, mit deren Hilfe sich die Folgen des Klimawandels nutzen, vermeiden oder mildern lassen.

Description: Der Wissenschaftszweig der Klimaattribution analysiert den Zusammenhang zwischen beobachteten Aspekten des Klimas und menschlichen Klimaeinflussfaktoren. Mit formalen, statistisch sorgfältigen Nachweis- und Attributionsmethoden sind globale Veränderungen im Klima unzweifelhaft nachgewiesen und erhöhten Treibhausgaskonzentrationen zugeordnet. Auch auf kontinentaler und nationaler Ebene ist dieser Nachweis für Änderungen in Temperaturmitteln sowie -extremen und manchen Niederschlagsindizes erbracht. Mit verwandten Methoden, vor allem denen der probabilistischen Ereignisattribution, werden beobachtete Ereignisse wie eine einzelne Hitzewelle oder ein einzelner Sturm untersucht. Dabei wird typischerweise quantifiziert, ob und wie sich die Auftrittswahrscheinlichkeit der Ereignisse durch den menschengemachten Klimawandel geändert hat. Attributionsergebnisse können Bewusstsein für den Klimawandel schaffen und für Fragen der Klimagerechtigkeit und möglicher Entschädigungen für Klimafolgen relevant sein.

Description: In der Vergangenheit haben sich Wälder an die geringen Veränderungen des am Wuchsort herrschenden Klimas angepasst. Die gegenwärtige Geschwindigkeit des Klimawandels in Verbindung mit der aktuellen Verteilung der Baumarten überfordert jedoch die natürliche Anpassungsfähigkeit. Vegetationszonen, Verbreitungsgebiete der Baumarten und Artzusammensetzung der Wälder verschieben sich. Das Kapitel charakterisiert die Folgen, die der Klimawandel für die Wälder mit sich bringt, stellt Schadfaktoren im Einzelnen vor und schildert die Auswirkungen auf die Produktivität. Darüber hinaus wird detailliert auf die Rolle des Waldes als Kohlenstoffspeicher eingegangen, denn Wälder produzieren nicht nur den nachwachsenden Rohstoff Holz, sondern sie leisten auch viel für die Umwelt und wirken ausgleichend auf das Klima. Auch mögliche Anpassungsoptionen werden dargestellt.

Description: Hochwasser in Flussgebieten werden in lokale und plötzliche Sturzfluten in kleinen Gebieten und in Hochwasser an größeren Flüssen unterschieden. Für verschiedene Hochwasserindikatoren und Flusseinzugsgebiete ergeben sich erhebliche Unterschiede, wobei sowohl überwiegend aus Regen als auch überwiegend aus Schmelzwasser gespeiste Hochwasserereignisse betrachtet werden. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit finden Hochwasserereignisse in den großen Flussgebieten von Rhein, Donau, Elbe, Weser und Ems in Deutschland sowie die Entwicklung von Sturzfluten infolge von Extremniederschlägen kurzer Dauer, wobei die Beobachtungen und Trends zu Modellierungsergebnissen in Beziehung gesetzt werden. Auch die Notwendigkeit von Anpassungsmaßnahmen wird diskutiert.

Der Beitrag beschreibt verschiedene Arten von Dürren und damit verbundene Folgen und Risiken. Es wird diskutiert, inwieweit Waldbrände tatsächlich ausschließlich dem Klimawandel zuzuschreiben sind, wie sich der Trend bei Waldbränden in der Vergangenheit darstellt und wie sich der Klimawandel in Zukunft auf die Häufigkeit von Waldbränden auswirken könnte.

Description: Wasser ist für den Menschen und seine Umwelt von zentraler Bedeutung. Seine jahreszeitliche Verfügbarkeit prägt Ökosysteme wie auch Kulturen und Gesellschaften. Die Herausforderung, zu viel, zu wenig oder zu schmutziges Wasser zu bewältigen, begleitet den Menschen seit Jahrtausenden. Mit der globalen Klimaänderung verändert sich auch der Wasserkreislauf, insbesondere die Quelle erneuerbaren Süßwassers, nämlich der Niederschlag. Grund ist die mit der globalen Erwärmung einhergehende Intensivierung des Wasserkreislaufs, die zu vergrößerten atmosphärischen Energieumsätzen führt. Aufgrund der Wechselwirkung von Atmosphärendynamik und Landoberflächen sind so in manchen Regionen heftigere Niederschläge, in anderen Regionen aber entgegengesetzte Extreme, wie längere und häufigere Trockenperioden und Dürren, möglich. Die Abschätzung der zukünftigen räumlichen und zeitlichen Verteilung der terrestrischen Wasserverfügbarkeit gehört zu den zentralen wissenschaftlichen Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts.

Die Ariadne-Berechnungen unterstreichen, dass Deutschlands derzeitiges Steuer- und Abgabesystem im Verkehrssektor noch stark auf die Nutzung fossiler Energieträger ausgerichtet ist und so die Erreichung der deutschen Klimaziele erschwert.

The article of Landwehr et al. to be discussed here presents interdisciplinary findings on this question, which are particularly interesting regarding the group of farmers. However, the findings also raise questions about the degree of abstraction of climate perception, the rigidity of social identity, the role of the media and the strategy of targeting. In the context of recent “farmer protests” and populist narratives, the author of this response concludes that future interdisciplinary research projects on climate perceptions should also analyse political variables and the relevance of populist discourses.

Der hier besprochene Artikel von Landwehr et al. stellt interdisziplinäre Befunde zu dieser Frage vor, die besonders mit Blick auf die Gruppe der Landwirt(inn)e(n) interessant sind. Die Befunde werfen aber auch Fragen zum Abstraktionsgrad der Klimawahrnehmung, der Rigidität sozialer Identität, der Rolle der Medien und der Zielgruppenstrategie auf. Im Kontext der jüngsten ,,Bauernproteste“ und populistischer Narrative folgert der Autor dieser Reaktion, dass in künftigen interdisziplinären Forschungsprojekten zur Klimawahrnehmung auch politische Variablen und die Relevanz populistischer Diskurse untersucht werden sollten.

Description: In diesem Positionspapier zur Neubewertung der DGE-Position zu veganer Ernährung werden neben neuen Daten zur Gesundheit auch die weiteren Zieldimensionen einer nachhaltigeren Ernährung (Umwelt, Tierwohl und Soziales) betrachtet. Zur Identifizierung relevanter Publikationen wurden ein Umbrella Review und ein ergänzendes systematisches Review durchgeführt sowie weitere Publikationen berücksichtigt. Die Betrachtung der Zieldimensionen Tierwohl und Soziales zeigt, dass die bisherigen Ansätze zur Bewertung der Auswirkung von Ernährungsweisen in diesem Zusammenhang noch nicht ausreichend etabliert sind und nicht umfassend angewendet werden. Daher werden nur die Zieldimensionen Gesundheit und Umwelt in die Position einbezogen. Gegenüber anderen Ernährungsweisen wurden bei einer veganen Ernährung potenzielle Vor- und Nachteile für die Gesundheit identifiziert. Für die gesunde erwachsene Allgemeinbevölkerung kann neben anderen Ernährungsweisen auch eine vegane Ernährung, unter der Voraussetzung der Einnahme eines Vitamin-B12- Präparats, einer ausgewogenen, gut geplanten Lebensmittelauswahl sowie einer bedarfsdeckenden Zufuhr der potenziell kritischen Nährstoffe (ggf. auch durch weitere Nährstoffpräparate), eine gesundheitsfördernde Ernährung darstellen. Für die vulnerablen Gruppen Kinder, Jugendliche, Schwangere, Stillende und Senior*innen kann die DGE aufgrund der weiterhin eingeschränkten Datenlage weder eine eindeutige Empfehlung für noch gegen eine vegane Ernährung aussprechen. Aufgrund des Risikos für potenzielle, teilweise irreversible Konsequenzen bei inadäquater Durchführung müssen für eine vegane Ernährung in vulnerablen Gruppen besonders fundierte Ernährungskompetenzen vorliegen. Eine Ernährungsberatung durch qualifizierte Fachkräfte ist daher für diese Gruppen dringend angeraten. Eine vegane Ernährung ist als äußerst umweltfreundlich anzusehen, sie stellt eine empfehlenswerte Maßnahme zur Verringerung der Umweltbelastungen des Ernährungssystems dar. Unter Berücksichtigung sowohl gesundheits- als auch umweltrelevanter Aspekte ist eine Ernährungsweise mit einer deutlichen Reduktion tierischer Lebensmittel zu empfehlen.

Oftmals berücksichtigen Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher dabei vor allem die einmal anfallende Einbau-Investition. Die Kosten über den gesamten Lebenszyklus sind deutlich schwerer zu ermitteln und unsicher, daher werden sie häufig zu wenig in die finanzielle Überlegung mit einbezogen. In einer neuen Analyse haben Ariadne-Forschende berechnet, wie hoch unterm Strich die Kosten für verschiedene Heiztechniken in bestehenden Wohngebäuden über einen Zeitraum von 20 Jahren angesichts zukünftiger Energieträgerpreise sowie der zu erwartenden CO2-Preisentwicklung sind.

Insbesondere im globalen Süden ist in den kommenden Jahrzehnten mit Ertragseinbußen zu rechnen. Klimaresiliente Sorten können einen wichtigen Beitrag bei der Anpassung an den Klimawandel leisten. Es wird geschätzt, dass in Zukunft je nach Emissionsszenario 15-39% der weltweiten Anbauflächen neue Pflanzensorten benötigen. Die Züchtung einer neuen Sorte ist jedoch ein langwieriger und kostspieliger Prozess, der im Schnitt 10-12 Jahre in Anspruch nimmt. Durch neue Technologien wie Genome Editierung könnte dieser Prozess deutlich beschleunigt werden, gleichzeitig bietet die genetische Vielfalt von Landrassen und verwandten Wildarten große Möglichkeiten für die Züchtung. Im globalen Süden leisten internationale Forschungseinrichtungen sowie Gen- und Saatgutbanken einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Bereitstellung klimaresilienter Sorten. Hohe Kosten, unsichere Landeigentumsrechte, fehlender Zugang zu Märkten und Krediten stehen jedoch einer größeren Nutzung verbesserten Saatgutes entgegen. Durch Informationskampagnen, praktischer Demonstration von verbessertem Saatgut sowie finanziellen Anreizen kann ein schneller Sortenwechsel gefördert werden.

Description: Die Kommunikation zur Einführung des CO2-Grenzausgleichsmechanismus lief zwischen der Europäischen Union und Drittländern rigide und wenig koordiniert ab, so das Ergebnis einer neuen Ariadne-Analyse. Forschende untersuchten, wie die EU ihre Diplomatie dabei organisiert hat, um möglichem handelspolitischem Protest schon während der Entwicklung des CO2-Grenzausgleiches zu begegnen. Die eher reaktive diplomatische Begleitung hat den Ariadne-Forschenden zufolge möglicherweise dazu beigetragen, dem Widerstand von Handelspartnern weniger Angriffsfläche zu bieten und die Akzeptanz des Mechanismus als Ausdruck des Führungsanspruchs der EU bei ambitionierter Klimapolitik zu erhöhen.

Description: Göl, akarsu ve denizler yüzyılları aşan süreden beri çoğunluğu insan kaynaklı olmak üzere çeşitli kirleticilerin baskısı altında bulunmaktadırlar. Özellikle endüstriyel üretimin hız kazandığı 1900’lü yılların ortalarından itibaren bu baskılar daha da artmış birçok su kaynağı kullanılamaz hale gelmiştir. Su kalitesindeki bozulmalar ve iklimsel değişim nedeniyle çok sayıda tür ortadan kalkmış, ya da tükenme noktasına gelmiştir. Ülkemizde de benzer çevresel sorunlar 1950’li yıllardan itibaren görülmeye başlanmıştır. Başta sanayi üretiminin büyük bir kısmının gerçekleştiği Marmara Bölgesindeki deniz ve içsu kaynakları olmak üzere birçok su kaynağı sanayi atıkları, evsel atıklar ve tarımsal kirleticiler ile baş başa bırakılmıştır. Söz konusu kirleticiler nedeniyle en büyük su kalitesi kaybına uğrayan alanların başında ise Marmara Denizi gelmektedir. Marmara Denizi havzası başta ülkemizin en büyük şehri olan İstanbul olmak üzere en büyük şehirlerini barındıran bir iç deniz konumundadır. Göreceli olarak küçük bir alan olmasına rağmen havzada ülke nüfusunun yaklaşık 1/3’ü yaşamaktadır. Havzadaki aşırı nüfus artışı ve kontrolsüz yapılaşma özellikle Marmara Denizi üzerinde büyük bir baskı oluşturmuştur. Uzun yıllar süresince arıtılmadan ya da sadece ön arıtıma tabi tutularak Marmara Denizine verilen atıklar denizin taşıma kapasitesini aşmış, bu nedenle denizde yaşayan birçok canlı türü tamamen ortadan kaybolmuştur. Hatta aşırı kirlenme nedeniyle Marmara Denizi’nin “Doğu Körfez” bölümü uzun yılardan beri balıkçılığa kapatılmıştır. Son zamanlarda Marmara Denizinde ortaya çıkan en önemli ekolojik sorunlardan bir tanesi de yaklaşık 6 ay süren müsilaj artışıdır. Müsilaj Ocak 2021 de başlayıp Haziran 2021’e kadar devam etmiştir. Müsilaj artışının 6 ay gibi uzun bir süre devam etmesi, büyük bir alanda habitat kayıpları yaratması, ekolojik tahribat kadar ekonomik kayıplara neden olması, balıkçılık dahil birçok ekosistem hizmetlerini etkilemesi nedeniyle dünya literatürüne girmiştir. İstanbul Üniversitesi olarak böylesine önemli ekolojik sorunu detaylı bir şekilde araştırmak, sonuçlarını ortaya koymanın gerekliliğine inanarak sadece Marmara Denizi’nde ortaya çıkan müsilaj sorunu ile ilgili çalışmaların yer aldığı 13 bölümden oluşan kitap yayınlamaya karar verdik. Deniz araştırmaları konusunda yaklaşık 80 yıllık deneyime sahip İstanbul Üniversitesinin yayınladığı bu eserin deniz bilimcilere ve karar vericilere başucu kaynağı olmasını diliyoruz.

Description: Title in English: Prediction of potential locations for water-retention dams in landscape based on re-utilisation of defunct relics of water-management buildings: Certified methodology This certified methodology shows the steps to be taken by contractors and builders of small water reservoirs with a special focus on preserving and archiving cultural value of historic landscape and its evolution. The methodology describes how to find and use defunct relics of historical waterdams in modern constructions (water retention dams), from identification in the landscape, through incorporation into the project documentation of the dam construction, to basic protection during the building process itself. State legislature on historic landscape is also mentioned. Re-utilisation of historic waterdams allows for their conservation for future generations and points at features of the historic dams at risk of destruction, and which need archaeological attention during the construction works (especially the historical drainage outlet). This methodology is praxis driven, as it is actively using knowledge gained through close co-operation with contractors and builders, and reflects their needs during construction.

The introduction discusses various theories of writing and the development of graphomotor skills and writing. It also defines graphomotor disorders and developmental dysgraphia and offers an overview of diagnostic methods for assessing handwriting disabilities. In the final chapter, the authors present an original approach to diagnosing graphomotor disabilities based on an objective analysis of online handwriting. The resulting “Graphomotor and Handwriting Disabilities Rating Scale” (GHDRS) allows for a detailed assessment of the sources of a child’s difficulties. The book is intended primarily for workers in the school guidance system, especially special educators and psychologists, but also for others interested in graphomotor skills.

Description: Title in English: Methodological publication of work with inclusive classroom with the focus on pupils with physical disability: Methodical Manual Publication is one of the outputs of the project Quality Inclusive Education of Pupils with Special Education Needs at elementary and secondary school. This text focuses on teaching pupils with physical disabilities in an inclusive classroom. The text is divided into three chapters, the first one defines theoretical background. Described is physical disability with an emphasis on cerebral palsy together with the specifics of the target group of pupils. Part of the chapter also defines special pedagogical diagnostics. The second chapter focuses on the education of pupil with cerebral palsy in inclusive school. In the third chapter are presented results of the research part of the project with special education needs – with physical disabilities with the focus on cerebral palsy.

The author applies rhetoric (paradox, metaphor, metonymy) as a means to elucidate mechanisms of theological persuasion and to trace the representations of the humiliated Christ and his imitations in various media from liturgy and iconology to everyday practice and literary fiction. The exploration of post-Christian literature of the 19th and 20th century (N. Chernyshevskii, M. Gor’kii, N. Ostrovskii, Ven. Erofeev, Vl. Sorokin) demonstrates the existence of a kenotic Christology after Christianity.

Description: Paradoxality as a Specific Feature of Dostoevsky’s Literary Works. Techniques, Stylistics, Mechanisms of Action. All works by Dostoevsky reveal the presence of paradox. These paradoxes act according to mechanisms that depend either on the fictional (polyphonic) or nonfictional (monologic) text “dominant.” Taking as a starting point (a) the arguments of G.S. Morson, according to whom paradoxes “seem to carry the quintessence of ‘Dostoevskyism’, particularly of his brand of humor,” (b) the analysis of Dostoevsky’s paradoxical humor; and (c) the three main categories of paradoxes (“empty or rhetorical”, “negative”, “positive”), we argue that Dostoevsky applies a fourth type of paradox, one that affects neither the premise nor the ending of the paradoxical structure, but their intrinsic logical interconnection. This article analyses a repertoire of paradoxical techniques used by Dostoevsky, focusing on the destabilizing humoristic function they enact.

Description: Humor and Irony as a Means of Combating Atheism in the Discourse of F.M. Dostoevsky . The question of the God’s existence troubled Dostoevsky throughout his life. He created a very convincing portrait of the atheist of his time. He did not consider unbelievers immoral, but only “infected with recklessness”, and when speaking of his atheist acquaintances, often admitted that they were good people. Dostoevsky created the image of an atheist as an intelligent person, who is guided not by the heart, but by the mind and who often evokes sympathy for his questing, his thinking, and his suffering (like Versilov or Ivan Karamazov). If we carefully consider the “atheistic” characters of Dostoevsky, however, we will see that atheism is a phenomenon associated with something both bad and funny. Through humorous details, Dostoevsky imperceptibly creates an image of the “atheist” as a comical and frivolous person.

Description: Title in English: A student teacher professional competence standard The purpose of the Standard is to describe the expert knowledge of primary and secondary school teachers, and the academic staff of the Faculty of Education about what is well-prepared implemented and assessed teaching. The Standard is primarily used by student teachers for orientation in the demands of of the quality of teaching at primary and secondary schools, for assessing and monitoring the progress of their professional competencies. Last but not least, the Standard helps to create a shared understanding of the teaching quality in the community of prospective and current teachers, thus bringing together actors involved in undergraduate training of pre-service teachers.

When considering laughter in Dostoevsky, one immediately thinks of the long “tirade” in The Adolescent, which proposes a kind of physiology of laughter, and its unpredictable effects on the perception of those who witness it. Laughter and caustic humor color even the most intimate confessions and can serve to partially mask the difficult action of revealing oneself before others. Modernity itself is the era of self-exhibition, of a sort of widespread confession. And yet, the laughter of modernity has lost the essence of joy. Joy is a function of that almost impossible sincerity that unveils the essence of man. The grimace of the fool, who shamelessly denudes himself before others in confession, becomes a sign of the isolation of the modern self and the end of the utopia of sincerity pursued by Rousseau.

We also see a huge didactic potential in 3D technology, which is currently not being used. The implementation of 3D technologies in teaching at primary and secondary schools enables the creation of completely new types of teaching aids and increases the availability of teaching models for pupils and students. Students can work with teaching models in class and, with methodological supports, they also actively participate in their creation.

Vychází z detailního popisu jazyků a dialektů současného Španělska a snaží se načrtnout jazykovou dimenzi konfliktů, ke kterým dochází v tomto mnohojazyčném státě. Popisuje historii a současnost složitého vztahu mezi jazykem oficiálním (španělština) a jazyky kooficiálními (katalánština, baskičtina, galicijština). Ukazuje, že jazykový rozměr je jen jedním z aspektů, byť důležitým, daleko složitějšího konfliktu a že vztah mezi tímto jazykovým rozměrem a dimenzí politickou, kulturní a sociální je daleko komplikovanější, než jak se obvykle prezentuje. Vychází z analýzy aktuálních statistických dat a kromě detailního popisu stavu na jednotlivých dvojjazyčných územích (Baskicko, Galicie, Katalánsko, Valencie, Baleáry) obsahuje též zobecňující komentář, z kterého vyplývá, jak rozdílná je povaha jazykových konfliktů na jednotlivých územích a jak obtížné je hledat řešení na centrální, celošpanělské úrovni.

Description: Title in English: Test versions equivalence of the Slovak upper-secondary school leaving examination The research presented in this book strives to answer how test versions equivalence – a necessary condition for meaningful and fair interpretation and comparison of students’ results – could be achieved in the context of high-stakes examination. The research was carried on the Slovak upper-secondary school leaving examination in English at B1 level, namely on the tests of receptive skills operationalized between 2012 and 2015. Theoretical research on the methods and procedures and the application of some of them on the Slovak examinations in the empirical part provided deep insight into the degree of comparability of the test versions used between 2012 and 2015 and made it possible to identify problem areas in terms of test versions comparability. The research helped to identify suitable methods and approaches that might enable to develop equivalent test versions and subsequently, to interpret meaningfully the test results and the measured construct, i.e. students’ language proficiency.

Description: On Features of Word Usage in Dostoevsky’s Poetic Dictionary in Connection with M.L. Uralskij and G. Mondry’s Dostoevsky and the Jews (St. Petersburg: Aletheia, 2021) . This article addresses the question of Dostoevsky’s alleged anti-Semitism with particular attention to Uralskij and Mondry’s book devoted to this topic, in which conclusions about the author’s chauvinism and xenophobia are based on his use of the word ‘Jew’ (zhid). For almost the entirety of the 19th century, however, such word usage was not a marker of anti-Semitism. Throughout his life, Dostoevsky communicated with many representatives of the Jewish people without differentitating them in any particular way from representatives of other nationalities. In the writer’s poetic dictionary, the word ‘Jew’ sometimes denotes a person who acquires unscrupulously, examples of which Dostoevsky found in all nationalities of the world, including the Russian.

Description: Title in English: Foglar in us: the mystery of heads and quarries The presentation of the personality, work and influence of Jaroslav Foglar is not limited to a historical biographical sketch, but seeks, among other things, on the basis of an empirical survey (n = 1174), to provide a comprehensive professional treatment of a relatively complex social phenomenon. The evidence of the influence of the reading experience usually acquired in childhood on the whole future life, as well as the interest of several scientific disciplines (comic studies, literary science, religious studies, pedagogy) in the specific methods of the scout educator, writer of boys’ literature and editor of several children’s magazines is thus the first book venture going beyond theoretical considerations and hypotheses towards evidence based on surveys of readers and fans of Foglar’s texts.

Description: Turkic World studies seem to be a topic that attracts scientific attention day by day. The continuous increase in cooperation, rapprochement, and mobility between Turkish-speaking countries and communities since 1991 might be shown as the main dynamic behind this interest. The richness of the Turkic Republics in terms of natural resources, their location on the energy and transportation corridors, the change of the balances in the Caucasus with the Second Karabakh War in 2020, and the transition of the Turkic Council from a cooperation organization to an interstate organization in 2021 under the name of the "Organization of Turkic States" also accelerate the work of the Turkic World. In the meantime, the popularization of some geopolitical determinations and predictions in the context of scientific interest in the region can be shown as an important factor. Similar to the rise of Europe in the industrial age, we can talk about the rise of Asia in the information age. The sources of political and economic power are shifting to Asian geopolitics and this process continues to strengthen. Such analyses and predictions, which bring to the agenda that in the 2050s, Asia will regain its former central position also encourage academic interest in Central Asia. This book is the product of the goal of creating an original work for the Turkish World with gap-filling parameters and process analyses determined by a meticulous preliminary study in the light of the mentioned background. In this direction, three basic perspectives such as the effort to determine the capacities of the countries with comparative analyses, to look at the Turkish World from the perspective of problems, and to embody the Turkish World based on the community, autonomous region, and country sections dominate the work. With comparative analyses, it has been tried to embody the capacities of the countries within the parameters such as sustainable development potential, transportation systems, scientific performance, evolution in the political system, education system, and values of education. On the other hand, the crises affecting the Turkic World were discussed with the analysis of Karabakh, which is the main crisis, and the Russia-Ukraine War, which is the current crisis. Politik ve ekonomik güç kaynakları Asya jeopolitiğine kaymakta ve bu süreç güçlenerek devam etmektedir. Asya’nın 2050’li yıllarda eski merkezi konumuna tekrar ulaşacağını gündeme taşıyan bu tarz analiz ve öngörüler Orta Asya’ya yönelik akademik ilgiyi de teşvik edici niteliktedir. Bu kitap bahsedilen arka planın ışığı altında, titiz bir ön çalışmayla belirlenen boşluk doldurucu parametreler ve süreç analizleriyle Türk Dünyasına yönelik özgün bir eser oluşturma hedefinin ürünüdür. Türk Dünyasını etkileyen krizler ise; başlıca kriz konumunda olan Karabağ ve güncel kriz olan Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşına yönelik analizlerle ele alınmıştır. Türk Dünyasındaki otuz yıllık sürece topluluk, özerk bölge ve ülke ölçeklerinden hareketle göz atma ise; Gürcistan, Tataristan ve Özbekistan örnekleri üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Description: In The Icon and the Square, Maria Taroutina examines how the traditional interests of institutions such as the crown, the church, and the Imperial Academy of Arts temporarily aligned with the radical, leftist, and revolutionary avant-garde at the turn of the twentieth century through a shared interest in the Byzantine past, offering a counternarrative to prevailing notions of Russian modernism.Focusing on the works of four different artists—Mikhail Vrubel, Vasily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, and Vladimir Tatlin—Taroutina shows how engagement with medieval pictorial traditions drove each artist to transform his own practice, pushing beyond the established boundaries of his respective artistic and intellectual milieu. She also contextualizes and complements her study of the work of these artists with an examination of the activities of a number of important cultural associations and institutions over the course of several decades. Description: This book examines different contexts relevant to Pushkin in 1825 when the poem “Count Nulin” was written. Its bulk consists of studies devoted to (1) various manuscripts of the text, (2) the issue of censorship and the publication of “Count Nulin” during Pushkin’s life, (3) the biographical context for the poem’s creation, (4) the role of the text in literary polemics and (5) reactions of critics (as well as readers) during Pushkin’s lifetime. Developing the idea of Boris Eikhenbaum, R. Leibov proposes that the text was addressed primarily to members of the Petersburg literati who made up the “Poliarnaia zvezda” (Polar Star) circle. Moreover, Leibov suggests that, in “Count Nulin”, Pushkin purposefully exaggerated those literary techniques that attracted criticism in “Eugene Onegin”, making “Count Nulin” function as a self-parody. The final section of the book is composed of commentary on the poem, combining a traditional focus on the interpretation of fragments of the text with an emphasis on its overall composition, as well as description of the changing rhetorical and narrative strategies of its author.

The development of learning materials seems to be a fact of life for many ESP teachers. Even though there are many empirically grounded studies for the development of English language learning materials, only a few studies deal with ESP materials development that would provide potential authors with instructions on how to proceed with their design. Design-Based Research of an ESP Coursebook offers a solution to this problem since it describes the systematic implementation, evaluation, and development of an ESP coursebook with the aim of producing design principles and empirically grounded theories. It is believed that the design principles presented in this book should provide a basis for adaptation to other situations, that is, they can help teachers to develop ESP coursebooks tailored for their own courses.
