Description: This study was conducted to codify the guideline and indexes of broodstock management in salmonid fish and cryopreservation, selective breeding and sex reversal in hatchery to attain responsible aquaculture development. Cryopreservation includes of sperm and egg in term of economic is important in aquaculture. In this report mentioned the type and name of material. All female and sex reversal fish are produced by steroid hormone which mentioned in this report. Selective breeding include individual selection and family selection which could be used for genetic improvement of fish.

Description: Homeopathy or "similar therapy" is a phylum of "alternative medicines" is belonging to 7000 years ago. ... Homeopathic remedies can be used to treat acute and chronic diseases of humans, animals and herbs, without any side effects. About 90 percent of homeopathic remedies are made from herbs and 10 percent of them are made from the minerals and animals. ... In this study, there were 4 treatments and 2 controls, in 300 liter tanks, each tank contained 40 juvenile rainbow trout fish with 25±5 g arranged weight. …

Description: Members of family Pseudocumidae, order Cumacea are among benthic crustacea that constitute a key part of food chain in the Caspian Sea. Study on identification and distribution of these creatures were conducted under the broad project of "Hydrology and Hydrobiology of the Caspian Sea". During this study which was conducted up to 100m depth (depth of 10, 20, 50 and 100m), 9 species of 4 genera were identified. The four most aboundant species were: Stenocuma diastyloides, Schizorhynchus eudorelloides, Stenocuma gracilloides and Schizorhynchus bilamellatus. Density and number of species sampled from different depths with 4 sampling periods were compared.

Description: Inthisstudy, Iranian and French male and female Oncorhynchus mykiss broodstocks were invided into two groups 50 and 24 respectivelyin Research center of genetic and breeding of coldwater fishers, Yasouj,Iran and the genetic structure of them was investigated using 6 microsatellite markers. Along with broodstock maturation, fertilization 1:1(female:male) were randomly assigned and occurred in25 of12Iranian andFrench treatment respectively. Reproductive parameters were recordedfor the whole family.Average number of observed alleles in Iranian and French stocks was 6.68 and 6.83, respectively.Average number of effective alleles in Iranian and French stocks was 3.13 and 3.45 respectively.Fixation index Fstwas calculated based on allelic frequency between two stocks was 0.058 with significant difference between 2 stocks. Eyed percentage for french broodstock calaulated zero and deleted. Fertilization rate(100-0), the eyed percentage (98-0), The hatch rate(98- 0),the averagefecundity4114.708, the average eggs size 4.88 mm, Survivalinthe first three months 19-73% calculated for Iranian broodstocks. Considering the quality of eggs and larvaeat different stages and selection between the different family and the within family remained 10 treatments and are keptas future broodstocks. Therelationship between fecundity-egg size, fecundity-weight, fecundity-length, egg sizeweightwas performed using regression. The results showed that Fecundity wasinfluenced more byweight and productivelength. The research is beginning to IDthe broodstockin our country.

Description: There are some experiences that researcher come across quite number of time for very large networks in the initial samples such that they cannot finish the sampling procedure. Two solutions have been proposed and used by marine biologists which we discuss in this article: i) Adaptive cluster sampling based on order statistics with a stopping rule, ii) Restricted adaptive cluster sampling. Until recently, the unbiased estimators were not available for both sampling. Restricted adaptive cluster sampling was used (Lo et al., 1997) under investigation in US Southwest Fisheries Science Center which was reasonably efficient even with a biased estimator. Salehi and Seber (2002) propose an unbiased estimator for this sampling design. They show that the unbiased estimator is shown to compare very favorably with the standard biased estimators, using simulation.

Description: The precision of conventional sampling designs is not usually satisfactory for estimating parameters of clump and rare populations. Many of fish species live in school and disperse all over a vast area like a sea so that they are rare compare to their habitats. Theory of a class of sampling designs called adaptive sampling designs has rapidly grown during last decade which solved the mentioned problem. These sampling designs are successfully used to asses fish life stocks in number of cases. The first aim of this article is to develop some versions of adaptive sampling which are more useful for fishery study. The author will introduce Adaptive Cluster Sampling (ACS) and its strip version which is more useful for fishery and marine studies. Since the parameter of interest is usually the density in fishery study, estimators of the density are developed in this article. In many biological studies, it has been shown that non-overlap two stage adaptive sampling and strip adaptive sampling are very efficient sampling designs so that we also develop non-overlap two stage adaptive cluster sampling of strips. The second aim of this article is to introduce adaptive cluster sampling to our fishery researchers' community and demonstrate the idea and computation to those who know statistics in some level.
