    Description: Mito: relato explicativo, simbólico y dinámico, de uno o varios acontecimientos extraordinarios personales con referente trascendente, que carece en principio de testimonio histórico, se compone de una serie de elementos invariantes reducibles a temas y sometidos a crisis, que presenta un carácter conflictivo, emotivo, funcional, ritual y remite siempre a una cosmogonía o a una escatología absolutas, particulares o universales. Esta definición, general, fría e indeterminada, requiere un tiempo, un espacio, y sobre todo una conciencia que la viva. El mito no es un constructo mental ajeno a las vicisitudes socioculturales: lleva marcada en su piel y sus entrañas la huella de cada individuo y sociedad que lo vio nacer; pero también sabe adaptarse a las condiciones del nuevo tiempo que lo acoge. Mitos de hoy narra esa tensión del mito por mantenerse vivo en el terreno, aparentemente inhóspito, de un mundo desengañado. La Mitocrítica Cultural, aquí puesta en práctica, combina las herramientas tradicionales de la mitocrítica con factores no considerados sistemáticamente por la crítica precedente: la globalización, la inmanencia y el consumismo. Ofrece así una modesta contribución a la tarea de identificar, analizar y sintetizar la tipología de las manifestaciones del mito en la literatura, las artes y los medios de comunicación contemporáneos.     Description: Feminicide has become a problem of general interest due to its high impact on the Colombian population; in this sense, this phenomenon was studied to characterize it in the departments of Huila and Tolima, which is why for the researchers it is essential to make this problem visible, pointing out the conditions framing violence against women from this macho culture that prevails in the region and country. The topic is of special interest since a review of press articles, epidemiological reports, local statements, and research on femicide in the two departments was carried out, seeking to make this phenomenon more visible to show the country’s reality so that it can be reported on. The results show that there is no research on the subject, which makes it possible to initiate a database with studies on femicide. Similarly, the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (2016) considers that the data described on homicide in 2015 and in previous years have decreased in magnitude over the years. The analysis of the variables realizes that the risk factors triggering the violent events that determine homicide have not been neutralized, reduced, or controlled, considering that public policy on security and citizen coexistence has been insufficient.

    Description: El Feminicidio se ha convertido en un problema de interés general por su alta afectación a la población colombiana, en tal sentido se estudió este fenómeno para caracterizarlo en los departamentos del Huila y Tolima, es por esta razón que para las investigadoras resulta fundamental visibilizar esta problemática, señalando las condiciones que enmarcan la violencia contra la mujer desde esta cultura machista que impera en la región y en el país. El tema reviste especial interés toda vez que se realizó una revisión de artículos de prensa, informes epidemiológicos, pronunciamientos locales e investigaciones frente al feminicio en los dos departamentos, buscando visibilizar con mayor fuerza este fenómeno a fin de mostrar la realidad al país para que se informe sobre éste. Los resultados evidencian la no existencia de investigaciones al respecto, lo que permite iniciar una base de datos con estudios acerca del feminicidio. De igual forma, el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal (2016) considera que los datos descritos sobre el homicidio en el año 2015 y en años anteriores han disminuido en magnitud año tras año, el análisis de las variables da cuenta que los factores de riesgo que desencadenan los hechos violentos que determinan el homicidio no han sido neutralizados, reducidos o controlados, considerando que política pública de seguridad y convivencia ciudadana ha sido insuficiente.

    Description: Quest’opera di Karsavin, di cui si presenta qui la prima traduzione e che viene riedita per la prima volta a Mosca dopo la sua pubblicazione a Berlino nel 1923, è senza dubbio la meno fortunata tra quelle dell’autore, a giudicare dal lungo silenzio che l’ha accompagnata. Ciò naturalmente suscita qualche interrogativo, dal momento che la maggior parte degli scritti di questo autore, non soltanto quelli pubblicati all’estero, ma anche quelli già pubblicati in patria prima dell’espulsione, sono stati riediti negli anni ’90 e alcuni di essi sono stati tradotti in italiano, in francese e in lituano. Il libro su Giordano Bruno non appartiene certo alle opere minori di Karsavin, e non soltanto per l’ampiezza, ma soprattutto per l’impostazione che lo colloca nel periodo della riflessione filosofica più matura dell’autore.

    Description: History Teaching in the university context is a completely unexplored field of research in Italy and for a large part also in those countries that can boast more solid traditions of studies in this research area. This is caused by the shared idea that the academic context is always a guarantee of a high quality of teaching. This work reverses this thesis and therefore aims to deeply investigate the teaching and learning of History to understand its effectiveness; in other words, this means understand whether and how the university can lead students to the development of Historical Thinking, i.e. the most important of the educational objectives concerning History. Through the comparison between Italy and Spain (one of the most advanced country in this research area), the use of a large variety of sources (including specific surveys) and a wide recognition of the Didactics of History as a discipline (with reference to its most important debate on Historical Thinking), the result is a first attempt to identify and analyze the original characteristics and critical issues of History in the higher education system which focuses on the most relevant disciplinary traditions, practices and teaching tools, and also on the complex relationship of academic History with school, publishing industry and digital.

    Description: La didattica universitaria della Storia è un terreno di ricerca del tutto inesplorato in Italia, e per larga parte anche in quei Paesi che possono vantare tradizioni di studi ben più solide in questo settore, e ciò perché è comunemente accettata l'idea secondo cui l'ambito accademico sia sempre garanzia di un'alta qualità dell'insegnamento impartito. Rovesciando tale tesi, questo contributo si propone di indagare a fondo sull'insegnamento e l'apprendimento della Storia all'università allo scopo di comprenderne l'efficacia, ossia di verificare se effettivamente, e in che termini, quest'ultima sia in grado di condurre i discenti al raggiungimento del più importante degli obiettivi didattici concernenti la Storia, lo sviluppo del ragionamento storico. Avvalendosi della comparazione tra Italia e Spagna (uno dei contesti nazionali più all'avanguardia in questo ambito), dell'impiego di una grande molteplicità di fonti (tra cui figurano specifici questionari) e di un'ampia ricognizione della Didattica della Storia come disciplina e del suo dibattito di riferimento concernente le teorie della conoscenza storica, il risultato è un primo tentativo di individuazione e di analisi dei caratteri originali e delle criticità della Storia nel sistema d'istruzione superiore che focalizza l'attenzione sulle tradizioni disciplinari, le pratiche e gli strumenti didattici più rilevanti, senza però dimenticare il complesso rapporto della Storia accademica con la scuola, l'editoria e il digitale.

    Description: Voltaire is one of the few European authors of the 18th century to have dealt with Korea. In this study, we first propose to highlight, through an analysis of all of his work, the texts in which he mentioned Korea and how this country is represented there. We will then try to identify his documentary sources, and we will focus mainly on how the author created stories from historical elements. Our survey also aims to understand Voltaire’s attitude to the historical-philosophical and dramatic genres, and to better understand his conception of these two genres.

    Description: Un país para los porteños propone un panorama renovado y plural sobre la experiencia del Estado de Buenos Aires al asumir libremente el ejercicio de su soberanía interior y exterior (1852-1861) en el proceso de construcción del Estado nacional argentino. El objetivo es facilitar una mayor comprensión de los intensos y complejos procesos acaecidos a mediados del siglo XIX que permiten señalar particularidades del Estado de Buenos Aires, sin dejar de considerar los enfrentamientos armados y demás interrelaciones con la Confederación Argentina y las agencias indígenas.     Description: The essay aims at reconstructing the history of the University of Florence, from the fall of fascism on July 25th 1943 to the post-World War II period. At the center of this path lies Piero Calamandrei's Rettorato, which began in the summer of 1943 and immediately interrupted by events related to September 8th and the armistice with the Allied powers. As dean of the university, in the aftermath of the Liberation of Florence in August 1944, Calamandrei marked a significant turning point. It was a turning point that not only promptly revived teaching and research functions; but it was also able to provide for the reinstatement of teachers expelled as a result of the racial legislation and for opposition to fascism, along with the beginning of the removals of teachers most involved with the dictatorship. At the same time, in the context of a city deeply involved in the Liberation, the new constitutional order of the Republic began to be drawn; a constitutional project to which Florentine professors - such as Piero Calamandrei and Giorgio La Pira - would offer an outstanding contribution.

A partire dai primi anni Cinquanta era entrato in contatto con il mondo culturale e politico italiano, instaurandovi duraturi rapporti professionali, di amicizia e di affinità politica. Il volume, giovandosi di fonti archivistiche inedite e sviluppando il genere biografico attraverso un approccio di ‘microstoria translocale’, mette a fuoco l’affinità elettiva che legò lo storico inglese all’Italia, ricostruendone le reti di relazioni, esaminando gli esiti che queste interazioni provocarono nella sua identità comunista così come nella sua produzione storiografica, analizzando infine la fortuna italiana delle sue opere.

Il discorso pubblico così come quello scientifico-accademico, interagendo con il bagaglio storico-culturale dell’ex Dominante, contribuirono a ridefinire lo spazio urbano e quello universitario, lasciando tracce ancora oggi visibili.     Description: Thinking about violence is the philosophical reason expressed in the research condensed in this book. Violence, as the establishment of evil in history, is the unsolvable expression of the inertia and chaos crossing societies, particularly those of today. From which philosophical horizon do we seek to frame the present analysis of violence? It is not easy to determine a single view of the problem because from the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes to the Martinique thinker Frantz Fanon referred to the political power and social segregation exercised by violence. We will go to the mimetic theory proposed by the French thinker, René Girard (1923-2005) in the interest of delimitation. We believe that this philosophical approach allows us to think about violence in the dynamic terms of difference and sameness. The mimetic theory explains the origin of violence in direct relation to the human desire for another (otherness) that seeks to be imitated to the point of its ontological appropriation. Desire mimics another way of desiring, which explains the chain reaction of a violent appropriation that goes through gestures, ways of being, objects, persons, etc. Difference, therefore, is one of the elements integrating the analysis of violence from the mimetic desire, since it is a way of perceiving that human life in social terms exists due to the existence of the other, who is the referent of imitation and at the same time of rivalry. In this order of ideas, the study of violence proposed in this research intertwines the concepts of difference, imitation, otherness, and rivalry.

    Description: Pensar en la violencia es el motivo filosófico que se expresa en las investigaciones que se condensan en este libro. La violencia, como la instauración del mal en la historia, es la expresión irresoluble de la inercia y el caos que atraviesa a las sociedades, particularmente a las actuales. ¿Desde cuál horizonte filosófico buscamos enmarcar el presente análisis a la violencia? No es sencillo determinar una sola mirada al problema, pues desde el filósofo inglés -Thomas Hobbes hasta el pensador de Martinica Franz Fanón hicieron referencia al poder político y de segregación social que ejerce la violencia. En aras de la delimitación acudiremos a la teoría mimética propuesta por el pensador francés René Girard. (1923-2005). Consideramos que esta apuesta filosófica permite pensar la violencia en los términos dinámicos de la diferencia y la mismidad. La teoría mimética explica el origen de la violencia en relación directa con el deseo humano de otro (alteridad) que busca ser imitado hasta su apropiación ontológica. Es decir, el deseo imita otro modo de desear y esto explica la reacción en cadena de una apropiación violenta que va desde los gestos, las maneras de ser, los objetos, las personas, etc. La diferencia es entonces uno de los elementos que integran el análisis de la violencia desde el deseo mimético, ya que es una forma percibir que la vida humana en términos sociales existe debido a la existencia del otro, que es referente de la imitación y al mismo tiempo de la rivalidad. En este orden de ideas en el estudio de la violencia que se propone en esta investigación se entrelazan los conceptos de diferencia, imitación, alteridad y rivalidad.

    Description: Michael Agricola’s main work is the New Testament, published in 1548, a magnificent quarto volume of 700 pages with a hundred woodcuts. The basic text used was the Greek text published by Erasmus, Erasmus’ Latin translation, the Vulgate, the Luther Bible and the Swedish Bible from 1541. The 450 marginal glosses come from the Luther Bible and the Swedish Bible. In his translation, Agricola distinguished “the Holy Spirit’s own words,” i.e. H. the Bible text, the prefaces and marginal glosses, which were only intended to provide “clearer understanding”. The word of God is much more valuable than the word of man, so that the translator was closely tied to the text. A free translation was out of the question, let alone consciously improving the text. He was able to proceed more freely with the prefaces and marginal glosses. Most of the time he translated verbatim, but did not shy away from omissions, additions and changes when he deemed them appropriate. In this critical edition, Agricola’s marginal glosses on the New Testament are printed in parallel with their sources.

    Description: Nel 2009 è uscito per i tipi di FrancoAngeli Il secolo di carta. Antonio Bosio artigiano di testi e immagini nella Venezia del Seicento. Allargando lo sguardo oltre i limiti biografici del protagonista – libraio, tipografo e incisore – e quelli geografici di Venezia, lo studio aveva cercato di fare di un oscuro ma poliedrico artigiano della carta stampata la chiave di lettura del commercio di testi e immagini dell’epoca in cui operava. Qui la seconda e ultima puntata del Secolo di carta, l’edizione integrale dell’inventario di bottega di Antonio Bosio, dal quale la prima ricerca era sbocciata. Era importante dare la possibilità di scorrerne le pagine per la quantità e l’estrema varietà dei materiali ivi descritti, che va dal libro al foglio volante di preghiere, dall’incisione da collezione a quella d’arredo o per laurea, dalle cartegloria ai ventagli e a molto altro ancora. Varietà che rende l’inventario veneziano quasi unico. L’edizione dell’Inventario, con nuovi documenti sulla famiglia Bosio illustrati nell’introduzione, nasce sotto l’auspicio della collaborazione tra persone e discipline. Fra bibliografia e storia – a torto spesso ritenute in competizione tra loro –, perché l’edizione di una fonte come questa invita a formulare riflessioni storiche a partire dall’osservazione di fenomeni bibliografici, anche i più minuti e apparentemente insignificanti. Collaborazione fra persone perché invita tutti i lettori ad appassionarsi al gioco di individuazione degli esemplari superstiti delle voci d’inventario che ancora mancano di identificazione, o, al contrario, a prendere coscienza della loro definitiva scomparsa, spia sfuggente dei silenzi della storia.

    Description: Nel Novecento italiano Fosco Maraini (1912–2004) spicca per la sua forte e creativa personalità di antropologo, fotografo, viaggiatore, alpinista e scrittore. Fattore unificante di queste attività fu il concetto di alterità delle culture, così come questo era stato elaborato dall’antropologia di Boas, Kroeber e Benedict. In particolare nei suoi scritti sul passato e sul presente del Giappone è riscontrabile una visione simpatetica e fondamentalmente essenzialista delle società umane. Formatosi soprattutto sui testi dell’antropologia americana del periodo tra le due guerre, Maraini affrontò una tensione difficilmente risolvibile tra la permanenza delle componenti originarie, che definiscono ogni cultura attraverso i secoli, e l’inarrestabile processo di trasformazione interno indotto dalla modernizzazione.

    Description: Una storia della presenza ebraica a Venezia e nella Serenissima Repubblica prima dell’istituzione del Ghetto di Venezia non era ancora mai stata scritta, in assenza di un’indagine nelle fonti documentarie degli archivi e delle biblioteche. Questo libro, frutto di una ventennale ricerca sistematica, intende smentire il mito di uno stanziamento degli ebrei a Venezia solo dal 1516. L’ambito documentario copre quasi trecento anni (tra metà del Duecento e secondo decennio del Cinquecento), ossia dalle prime sicure presenze di ebrei al loro definitivo insediamento nell’area urbana denominata Ghetto (nuovo), in un periodo particolarmente travagliato della storia veneziana. In questo quadro storico, un rilievo speciale va riconosciuto a Mestre, che, a ridosso del XV secolo, assurse a capitale dell’ebraismo veneto: non solo vi operavano i banchi di prestito feneratizio, ma vi trovarono sede l’unica sinagoga ufficiale, l’ostello e il cimitero. Purtroppo nessuna di queste testimonianze si è preservata, e la stessa memoria di quella comunità si è presto cancellata. Una vicenda molto simile si è prodotta a Treviso, primario centro ashkenazita, scomparso a fine Quattrocento, a differenza di Padova, sola tra le maggiori e più antiche comunità ebraiche a superare i secoli, senza mai poter contendere la primazia al Ghetto di Venezia.

    Description: Contact with Western civilisation generated an enormous amount of translation of Western writings in Japan in the second half of the 19th century. Society and culture of modern Japan were built on this great undertaking, but discrepancies between the source and target languages can create complex entanglements. It is certainly fascinating to pay attention to the very entanglements created in the process of moving from the original language to the language of translation. From this point of view, one of the most interesting examples, the subject of this essay, is the term res publica/republic and its Japanese translation kyōwa, due to their linguistic distances and intersections.

    Description: Disasters have always been a key theme in artistic creation and visual language, as confirmed by the prevalence and persistence of images depicting the unleashing of the forces of nature and their consequences on cities and the landscape. In particular, volcanoes, the dispensers of death and desolation but also of sublime scenes, have constantly inspired painters and engravers, also soliciting the curiosity of those who wished to understand how flames, ash, and fiery stones could pour from the bowels of the earth. In the early modern age, the reactivation of volcanoes in the Phlegraean and Vesuvian areas, after long centuries of dormancy, marked the beginning of a new interest among European readers in the phenomena they produced. Having sensed that new spaces were opening up in the publishing market, both local and international, many bookseller-printers began to publish a large number of tales, treatises, collections of verse and pictures relating to eruptions, which were going to satisfy the tastes and interests of a varied public composed of naturalists, archaeologists, scholars, cultured and wealthy travelers who covered the Italian peninsula in the course of their grand tour, but also of more modest onlookers. On such varied production this volume, arising from the exhibition Eruzioni di carta. Four Centuries of Volcanoes in Print, offers multiple points of view through a body of works dating from the second half of the 16th to the early 20th century.

    Description: I disastri sono da sempre un tema fondamentale nella creazione artistica e nel linguaggio visivo, come confermano la diffusione e la persistenza di immagini che ritraggono lo scatenamento delle forze della natura e le loro conseguenze sulle città e sul paesaggio. In particolare, i vulcani, dispensatori di morte e desolazione ma anche di scene sublimi, hanno costantemente ispirato pittori e incisori, sollecitando inoltre la curiosità di chi intendeva comprendere come dalle viscere della terra potessero fuoriuscire fiamme, ceneri e pietre infuocate. All’inizio dell’età moderna il riattivarsi dei vulcani nell’area flegrea e vesuviana, dopo lunghi secoli di quiescenza, segnò l’inizio di un nuovo interesse dei lettori europei verso i fenomeni da essi prodotti. Avendo intuito che si aprivano nuovi spazi nel mercato editoriale, tanto locale quanto internazionale, molti librai-stampatori cominciarono a pubblicare una gran quantità di racconti, di trattati, di raccolte di versi e di immagini relativi alle eruzioni, che andavano a soddisfare i gusti e gli interessi di un variegato pubblico composto da naturalisti, archeologi, eruditi, da colti e ricchi viaggiatori che percorrevano la penisola italiana nel corso del loro grand tour, ma anche da più modesti curiosi. Su tale variegata produzione questo volume, scaturito dalla mostra Eruzioni di carta. Quattro secoli di stampa sui vulcani, offre molteplici punti di vista, attraverso un corpus di opere databili dalla seconda metà del XVI agli inizi del XX secolo.

A continuación, se presentan las ediciones judías de Robinson Crusoe, esto es, las adaptaciones asquenazíes en yídish y en hebreo, y las sefardíes en judeoespañol.     Description: After a long process, the reopening of Milanese canals has become one of the fundamental actions of the Town Plan approved in 2019. A strategic project that plans to reactivate the covered section of the Naviglio Martesana and the Cerchia Interna, reuniting Adda and Ticino rivers, and give new life to the great Renaissance project that Leonardo himself had worked on. In its methodological approach and in the specific outcome achieved, we can recognize elements of continuity with Leonardo’s thinking and contribute to a territorialist reflection on its current relevance.

    Description: Dans sa Démonolâtrie (1595), le procureur général de Lorraine, Nicolas Remy, estime que « Les sorciers appartiennent la plupart du temps au monde des bourgs et des campagnes. ». Cependant, les vauderies survenues à Lyon et Arras au XVe siècle comme les cas de possession du XVIIe siècle sont autant de témoignages de la présence de la sorcellerie dans les villes européennes. Les études de cas et les essais comparatifs réunis dans ce volume montrent qu'en dépit de la diversité des sociétés urbaines, la sorcellerie apparaît comme un révélateur des enjeux de pouvoir qui traversent les villes modernes.Dans sa postface, Carlo Ginzburg insiste sur la portée d'une approche comparatiste, toujours attentive aux écarts à la norme, et souligne l'importance d’aborder les procès de sorcellerie comme une manifestation particulière des tensions sociales et culturelles.

    Description: The article analyses the morphological means used by the Slovenian dialects of Friuli in adapting loan verbs to their aspectual system in comparison to the traditional means of expressing verbal aspect in the indigenous Slavic lexicon. In relation to verbs of Slavic origin, the formation of aspectual pairs was mainly realised by means of prefixation to the base verb (thereby perfectivising it), whereas with loans from the adjacent Romance varieties (Friulian, Italian, Venetian) suffixation proves more productive (yielding imperfectivisation). The analysis is carried out on the dialect of Resia as well as those from the Torre and Natisone Valleys. Despite some differences, in all three dialects there is generally a strong tendency to integrate loan verbs into the aspectual systems of these varieties. Biaspectual verbs, on the other hand, are relatively rare except for the particular case of the verbs in -inat in Resian.

Tutt’ora inediti, questi documenti sono qui riletti alla luce di un dettaglio: la presenza, tra una pagina e l’altra, della grafia di Marie-Anne Paulze-Lavoisier (1758-1836), moglie e collaboratrice del celebre chimico francese. È in effetti lei, ben più di altri assistenti, a compilare questo grande “archivio dell’esperimento”, per poi conservarlo (senza mai smettere di maneggiarlo) nei quattro decenni che seguirono la morte del marito nel 1794. Un lavoro che lei stessa assimilava con orgoglio a quello di un «segretario». Questo libro ricuce insieme queste storie, aprendo nuove prospettive tra storia materiale della scienza, storia sociale e storia delle donne e di genere.

    Description: The reading experience and the self-referential stories of children between five and six years of age presented in this booklet are the result of the work elaborated by the transition students of the Franciscan School of Pius XII, within the framework of the activities of the psychology professional practice project, whose purpose was to approach narratives and stories as an excuse to navigate through the subjective productions elaborated from the reading experience. The elaboration of the stories allowed the construction of a space to relate personal events considered significant for the children. Therefore, each story that the reader will encounter speaks of a small world that found a way to be transmitted to others through narrative. Beyond building a story, the idea was to allow a moment to think about those experiences that give meaning to existence, as they are loaded with imagination, emotions and sensations, which is an opportunity to develop the process of conceiving themselves as subjects with a story.

    Description: La experiencia de lectura y los relatos autorreferenciales de niños de entre cinco y seis años que se presentan en este cuadernillo son el resultado del trabajo elaborado por los alumnos de transición del Colegio Franciscano de Pío XII, en el marco de las actividades del proyecto de práctica profesional de psicología, cuyo propósito fue abordar las narrativas y los cuentos como excusa para navegar por las producciones subjetivas elaboradas a partir de la experiencia de lectura. La elaboración de los cuentos permitió la construcción de un espacio para relatar acontecimientos personales considerados significativos para los niños. Por lo tanto, cada historia que el lector encontrará habla de un pequeño mundo que encontró una forma de ser transmitido a otros a través de la narrativa. Más allá de construir una historia, la idea era permitir un momento para pensar en aquellas experiencias que dan sentido a la existencia, ya que están cargadas de imaginación, emociones y sensaciones, lo que constituye una oportunidad para desarrollar el proceso de concebirse como sujetos con una historia.

    Description: Among his hydraulic designs, Leonardo planned the construction of an artificial lake in an area east of the castle of Vinci, his native village. The project, a surprising demonstration of his perfect knowledge of places where he lived, is illustrated in three drawings found and studied by Renzo Cianchi. Today, it is particularly interesting to analyze the feasibility of Leonardo’s project, by chronologically translating it to the 21st century, namely in 2020. Based on an accurate hydrologic analysis, this paper aims at providing further insights on Leonardo’s study, focusing on the feasibility of the dam.

    Description: Can we build peace? relaunches the question of peacebuilding as a commitment to research and reflection beyond established theoretical frameworks. Each chapter of this book reflects the search and the questions that mobilize different scholars from their own intellectual trajectories and life experiences. It is a book that harbors the richness of its content in the diversity of methodical approaches to the question of peace. Thus, it understands that to build, to recognize, to dissent, to transform, are verbs of solidarity with which the transition from a country in conflict to a possible peace is conveyed. From the academic point of view, one of the great challenges is to consolidate the convergence of interests, knowledge and actions that allow a clear understanding of the complexity of the problems of the transition to peace. One of the premises that inspires the authors is to propose a decentered reading of established theories, without ignoring their value and without rejecting the necessary specificity required to elucidate and address specific issues such as psychological effects, legal discussions or media logics. Thus, the reader will find dissertations on cardinal issues of social, political and cultural life on which it is necessary to reflect in the processes of overcoming armed conflicts. This proposal seeks to delocalize, from a theoretical and methodological point of view, the research reflection and promote an interdisciplinary dialogue among authors from different regions and countries, in order to summon readers interested in understanding, from different points of view, the tensions, problems and ambiguities that Colombia faces in terms of peace.

    Description: ¿Podemos construir la paz?, relanza la pregunta por la construcción de paz como una apuesta por la investigación y reflexión más allá de los marcos teóricos establecidos. Cada capítulo de este libro refleja la búsqueda y los interrogantes que movilizan a distintos académicos desde sus propias trayectorias intelectuales y experiencias de vida. Es un libro que aloja la riqueza de su contenido en la diversidad de aproximaciones metódicas a la pregunta por la paz. Así las cosas, entiende que construir, reconocer, disentir, transformar, son verbos solidarios con los que se vehiculiza la transición de un país en conflicto, hacia una paz posible. Desde el punto de vista académico, uno de los grandes retos es consolidar la convergencia de intereses, saberes y acciones que permitan una clara comprensión de la complejidad de los problemas de la transición hacia la paz. Una de las premisas que inspira a los autores, es proponer una lectura descentrada de las teorías establecidas, sin desconocer su valor y sin recusar la especificidad necesaria que requieren la elucidación y abordaje de asuntos concretos como los efectos psicológicos, las discusiones jurídicas o las lógicas mediáticas. Por lo anterior, el lector encontrará disertaciones sobre temas cardinales de la vida social, política y cultural que precisan ser reflexionados en los procesos de superación de conflictos armados. Con esta propuesta, se busca deslocalizar, desde el punto de vista teórico y metodológico, la reflexión investigativa y promover un diálogo interdisciplinario entre autores de distintas regiones y países, con el fin de convocar a lectores interesados en comprender, desde distintos puntos de vista, las tensiones, problemas y ambigüedades a los que se enfrenta Colombia en materia de paz.

    Description: Il ne s’agit pas ici de ce que le cinéma fait à la littérature mais de ce que l’imaginaire polysémique de la projection suscite d’allers, de retours et de réécritures croisées entre les deux disciplines, y compris dans les possibles dérives « projectives » du geste interprétatif, du moment qu’il entraîne un gain heuristique et travaille au croisement de l’optique et du psychique. La projection cinématographique est en effet, d’abord, un dispositif optique. Un faisceau lumineux transporte en l’agrandissant, parfois en l’anamorphosant, une image sur un écran : image passée, qu’il actualise ; image fugace, dont il déploie l’évanescence ; image photogramme, qu’il met en mouvement et expose à la dissemblance. Or la participation émotionnelle que suscite l’optique n’est pas sans rapport avec le dispositif psychique du même nom, qui consiste à extérioriser un contenu inconscient pour le voir en le déniant comme sien. Les deux versants de la projection ont en commun d’être des mécanismes qui mettent en jeu un travail de déformation autant destiné à faire voir qu’à opacifier et faire écran. Le cinéma s’avère alors surface où s’inscrivent les traumas inassimilables auxquels la projection donne forme visible selon le modèle de la figurabilité inconsciente. Ces prémisses esquissent les contours d’un nouveau chantier interdisciplinaire dont cette publication collective entend déployer l’extension maximale et donner les premières clés de compréhension.

Con un arduo trabajo de rigurosa documentación, a partir de conceptos como cultura política, repertorios de acción colectiva o disputa de la agenda pública, la autora hilvana la trama de constitución del movimiento de derechos humanos en Córdoba, un movimiento social que, a veces contra el Estado, otras con él, desde los ejes de verdad y justicia por los crímenes cometidos durante la última dictadura cívico-militar, va convirtiéndose en referencia política de otra forma de hacer y comprender la democracia. Así, unas cuestiones que el poder político prometió responder y solo lo hizo a medias (¿dónde están los desaparecidos?, ¿qué hicieron con los nietos apropiados?, ¿qué pasó con las Malvinas?, ¿qué sucedió con la deuda externa?) se volvieron cuestionamientos centrales al orden social que impuso la dictadura y que, con rupturas y continuidades, en sus lineamientos centrales siguió implementándose en las dos primeras décadas de la nueva democracia.

    Description: Les guerres culturelles du XIXe siècle opposèrent les anticléricaux et les libéraux aux chrétiens intransigeants. Ils s’affrontèrent sur des questions majeures : l’articulation entre religion et politique ; les limites de la liberté individuelle, le but de l’existence humaine. Leurs visions du monde paraissaient inconciliables. Comment ont-ils géré leurs différends ? Quelles ont été finalement les voies de la coexistence ? En croisant les histoires italienne, française, allemande et suisse, cet ouvrage montre les mécanismes communs qui, en Europe, ont apporté une première vague sécularisatrice. La Guerre des deux France, le Kulturkampf et le Risorgimento sont analysés comme des crises d’apprentissage du pluralisme au sein des jeunes nations démocratiques. For this reason, I believe that it may soon become an important international reference work (GUNTHER DIETZ). It is a very current and relevant work for the Latin American context. It is a commitment to work with, in and from the communities, which is related to one of the objectives sought, which is to understand interculturality from the grassroots. It is an enjoyable read and I consider that it can be a contribution both to continue with the research presented and to generate much more participatory and collaborative methodologies in the field, breaking with the classic Eurocentric object-subject visions. On the other hand, the degree of commitment that can be seen in several chapters can serve as motivation for social scientists who are beginning in the field (ELEDER PIÑEIRO).

Es una lectura amena y considero que puede ser un aporte tanto para continuar con las investigaciones presentadas como para generar metodologías mucho más participativas y colaborativas en el campo, rompiendo con las clásicas visiones eurocéntricas objeto-sujeto.     Description: The court and court society in the Hispanic world (16th-18th centuries): The courtly world has emerged as a propitious intellectual and historiographical space for thinking and writing the history of early modernity. Ever since the renewal of the so-called ‘political history,’ but also after the perspective of cultural studies, the courtly has become the privileged scenario for the study of the political society of the Modern Age, starting from the analysis of the formation of the different social actors’ different political identities in dispute, as well as the tracking of hidden interests in decision-making in order to understand power groups or networks. Similarly, the courtly cannot but be thought of as that singular scenario and/or space of conjunction and indistinction between the political (public) and the economic (private), as well as a locus of identity formation and dispute. In this sense, the study of the Ancien Régime societies cannot ignore the courtly, which is a key element for understanding and analyzing one of the articulating elements of the globality of the European monarchies, particularly the Hispanic monarchy. As this work describes, this global perspective allows us to understand the importance and imprint of the courtly in America. Therefore, the aim is to analyze and understand the court and the courtly world from multiple perspectives. The articles that make up this work problematize the courtly from different geographical spaces, but above all from different intellectual concerns and preoccupations: princely and courtly education, the problem of the King’s favorite, the religious, the nobiliary, the place of the feminine in the court or, also, the materiality of the courtly texts and the materiality of the government of the monarchy from the court.

    Description: El mundo cortesano se ha erigido como un espacio intelectual e historiográfico propicio para pensar y escribir la historia de la primera modernidad. Desde la renovación de la denominada ‘historia política’, pero también desde los estudios culturales, lo cortesano ha devenido en el escenario privilegiado de estudio de la sociedad política de la Edad Moderna, partiendo de análisis de la conformación de las diferentes identidades políticas en disputa de los distintos actores sociales, como también del rastreo de intereses ocultos en las tomas de decisiones para comprender redes o grupos de poder. Asimismo, lo cortesano no puede dejar de pensarse como ese escenario y/o espacio singular de conjunción e indistinción entre lo político (público) y lo económico (privado), así como un locus de conformación y disputa identitaria. En este sentido, el estudio de las sociedades del Antiguo Régimen no puede obviar lo cortesano, máxima para comprender y analizar uno de los elementos articuladores de la globalidad de las monarquías europeas, singularmente de la monarquía hispánica. Esta perspectiva global nos permite comprender, como se realiza en esta obra, la importancia e impronta de lo cortesano en América. Por lo tanto, esta obra busca analizar y comprender la corte y el mundo cortesano desde múltiples perspectivas. Los artículos que conforman esta obra problematizan lo cortesano desde diversos espacios geográficos, pero sobre todo desde distintas inquietudes y preocupaciones intelectuales: la educación principesca y cortesana, el problema del valimiento, lo religioso, lo nobiliario, el lugar de lo femenino en la corte o, también, la materialidad de los textos cortesanos y la materialidad del gobierno de la monarquía desde la corte.

    Description: [English]:Universities, as training and research institutions, are required to implement actions and policies aimed at ensuring gender equality and at removing obstacles that prevent the full personal and professional fulfilment of men and women. To this end, the Gender Responsive Budgeting is the fundamental tool to pursue the objectives of equality. But more than a document, it is an articulated process that requires a significant involvement of the governance of the University, through a path of institutionalization of the approach to the gender issues. The volume presents the results of the second gender report of the University Federico II of Naples, drawn up according to the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities Guidelines. In addition to the context analysis, which allows to highlight strengths and critical issues of the University with respect to gender equality, the document illustrates the level of integration of the gender perspective in the University's strategic documents, the network of bodies responsible for gender issues and the repertoire of actions implemented in the previous five years. The gender analysis of economic and financial commitments, carried out through the reclassification of the budget, has also made it possible to explore in detail the resources expressly allocated to the equality objectives, identifying the areas in which greatest investments are needed. The document also includes a preliminary gender analysis of student opinion questionnaires, which can be used as a useful tool to provide insights into the definition of positive actions for the student population. The picture that emerges from the proposed analysis is of a University that has embarked on a serious path of institutionalization of the gender budget process, attested by the commitment to promote inclusive cultural and organizational processes aimed at concretely pursuing equality objectives in training, research and work.

Ma più che di un documento, si tratta di un vero e proprio articolato processo che richiede un significativo coinvolgimento della governance di Ateneo, attraverso un percorso di istituzionalizzazione dell’approccio alle questioni di genere. Il volume presenta gli esiti del secondo bilancio di genere della Federico II di Napoli, redatto secondo le Linee Guida elaborate dalla Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Italiane. Oltre all’analisi di contesto, che consente di evidenziare i punti di forza e gli elementi di criticità dell’Ateneo federiciano rispetto alla parità di genere, il documento illustra il livello di integrazione della prospettiva di genere nei documenti strategici di Ateneo, la rete di organismi preposti alle tematiche di genere e il repertorio delle azioni messe in atto nel quinquennio precedente. L’analisi di genere degli impegni economico-finanziari, realizzata a partire dalla riclassificazione del bilancio, ha consentito inoltre di esplorare nel dettaglio le risorse espressamente destinate agli obiettivi di parità, identificando gli ambiti in cui è necessario investire maggiormente. Il documento include inoltre una prima analisi in ottica di genere dei questionari di rilevazione delle opinioni degli studenti e delle studentesse, che può essere adoperata come utile strumento per fornire spunti per la definizione di azioni positive destinate alla popolazione studentesca. Il quadro che emerge dall’analisi proposta è quello di un Ateneo che ha intrapreso un serio percorso di istituzionalizzazione dell’intero ciclo del Bilancio di Genere, attestato dall’impegno nella promozione di processi culturali ed organizzativi inclusivi volti a perseguire concretamente gli obiettivi di uguaglianza e di parità nella formazione, nella ricerca e nel lavoro.

    Description: L’œuvre de Georges Perec (1936-1982) apparaît aujourd’hui sans conteste comme celle d’un classique de la seconde moitié du xxe siècle. Prenant acte de ce statut patrimonial, ce volume se donne un objectif moins rétrospectif – faire le bilan de trois riches décennies de recherche – que prospectif, en s’efforçant de contribuer à la relance d’une activité critique dont le dynamisme semble évidemment lié à l’accession à ce statut de classique. Dans un article devenu célèbre, « Pourquoi lire les classiques ? » (1981), un autre écrivain de l’Oulipo, l’Italien Italo Calvino, avait défi l’œuvre classique par sa lecture, énonçant la proposition suivante : « Toute relecture d’un classique est une découverte, comme la première lecture. » S’agissant de Perec, tout se passe en effet comme si cette canonisation avait bel et bien ouvert le champ des lectures possibles, permettant en particulier le dépassement de la perspective biographique pour l’intégrer à des approches diverses, qu’elles soient théoriques, génétiques, historiques, stylistiques ou plus largement poétiques. C’est de cette diversité, et de cette ouverture, critiques que ce volume rend compte, proposant ainsi une série de « découvertes » (comme le disait Calvino) pour inviter à la relecture d’une œuvre décidément inépuisable.

    Description: This study, through the use of hundreds of archival documents over a period of about two centuries, highlights the total reversal in the silk trade that occurred from the beginning of the 15th century: silk cloth no longer crossed the Mediterranean from East to West, as in previous centuries, but from West to East. Jewish, Turkish and Syrians merchants, and above all the Sublime Porte showed continued appreciation for Florentine silks. Through the analysis of the sources, every phase of such export is described in detail: the purchase of the cloths in Florence, their shipment, transport and finally the sale through Florentine correspondents in Constantinople. This flow of silks continued until the first decades of the 16th century, only to decline rapidly around the middle of the century.

    Description: During late Middle Ages the space corresponding to Papal State showed some features similar to those of Central-Northern Italy, sharing others with the Southern Kingdom. This interesting mix can be tested observing statutory law, that, regarding this period, has abundantly survived, although revealing remarkable regional differences. The interplay between cities and villages in this situation is complicated by Papal power, which participates in that relationship, affecting it with a varying intensity and continuity. In this book we try to specify the “three parts game” that happened during the legislative process, considering also other players action, such rural lords. The work includes four essays about the four lands forming the Papal State and other three about nearer lands, i.e. Florentine Tuscany, Siennese one and the Sicilian Kingdom (reserving a special attention at Abruzzo), and suggests useful comparisons, one of the project paramount aims. The scholars invited to join the enterprise, each specialist of a single land, during their research considered other’s results, notwithstanding the physical distance among each other. Thus, we try to offer a homogeneous picture, at least regarding powers interplay dynamics.

    Description: Lo spazio territoriale dello Stato della Chiesa nel tardo Medio Evo mostra alcune caratteristiche proprie dell’Italia centro-settentrionale, ma al contempo se ne distingue per altre che lo avvicinano al Regno meridionale. Questa interessante miscela può essere verificata nella normativa statutaria, che si è conservata abbondante per il periodo, anche se con alcune notevoli differenze regionali. L’interazione fra i centri urbani e quelli rurali trova qui una complicazione nella presenza del potere pontificio, che si inserisce nel rapporto fra i due soggetti condizionandolo, anche se con differente intensità e continuità. In questo volume si cerca di dettagliare il “gioco a tre” che l’attività normativa delle campagne comportava, senza dimenticare la possibile presenza di altri attori, come i signori rurali. Dedicando quattro studi alle quattro realtà regionali comprese nello Stato della Chiesa e altri tre a realtà finitime, cioè la Toscana fiorentina, quella senese e il Regno di Sicilia (con un’attenzione particolare all’Abruzzo), il libro suggerisce proficui confronti, che sono stati comunque una delle idee portanti del progetto. I singoli studiosi che sono stati invitati a partecipare all’iniziativa, ognuno specialista di una specifica area, pur non lavorando in stretto contatto, hanno comunque tenuto presenti i risultati delle ricerche condotte dagli altri, in modo da fornire un quadro il più possibile omogeneo, almeno per quanto riguarda le dinamiche dell’interazione fra i tre poteri.

    Description: Il n’est pas toujours facile, pour les chercheurs et chercheuses comme pour les étudiant.e.s en Histoire ou Littérature antique, d’avoir accès aux préambules à l’élaboration d’un texte. La frustration qui en résulte est d’autant plus grande dans le cas de l’historiographie, où nous savons qu’un vaste travail de collecte, sélection et réappropriation des sources a présidé à la rédaction des œuvres qui nous sont parvenues. C’est à ces « coulisses » que cet ouvrage essaie d’accéder, par le moyen d’une comparaison originale et systématique de deux historiens romains contemporains, Tacite et Suétone. Abordées sur un pied d’égalité en ce qui concerne la démarche historiographique, leurs œuvres permettent en effet de lever une partie du voile sur ce qui relève, dans leur contenu, de l’influence des auteurs précédents ou de choix personnels, mais aussi des attentes du public du IIe siècle lorsqu’il s’agissait d’écrire sur les premiers empereurs. Sont dès lors étudiés d’un point de vue historiographique des épisodes aussi fameux que le séjour de Tibère à Capri ou l’incendie de Rome en 64, et abordés des thèmes comme la présence visible des deux auteurs dans leur texte, celle de leurs sources, la question des motifs repris et développés ou encore le rapport à la tradition antérieure sur les Julio-Claudiens et les trois « empereurs éphémères » qui succédèrent à Néron. Une meilleure connaissance du rapport des Romains à l’écriture de l’histoire et au passé devient ainsi également possible.

    Description: Au cours du xviiie siècle, la promenade devient une pratique habituelle, d’abord comme passe-temps social, ensuite comme activité solitaire et rêveuse. Les écrivains s’approprient alors cette pratique, et les pensées ou rêveries qu’elle suscite, pour les raconter ou les décrire. La réflexion collective dont ce volume se fait l’écho est partie de l’intuition que cette nouvelle habitude de déplacement dans l’espace – déplacement sans but, gratuit, et à pied – a influencé d’un même mouvement les modes de pensée et les modes d’écriture. On s’intéresse ici à la diffusion concrète du modèle pérégrin proposé par Rousseau dans des textes oubliés par la généalogie de l’essai : si ceux-ci n’ont pas laissé de véritables traces dans l’imaginaire du genre, ils n’en ont pas moins contribué à créer et à répandre des pratiques d’écriture et des postures d’écrivain, qui ont sans aucun doute joué un rôle fondamental dans la constitution progressive d’une écriture essayiste, avant l’institution du genre.

    Description: La Comisión Provincial por la Memoria (CPM) es un ente estatal, extra poderes, autónomo y autárquico, es decir, no gubernamental, que funciona en la provincia de Buenos Aires. Está compuesta, por un lado, por una comisión de “notables”, personas reconocidas socialmente que provienen de diferentes ámbitos ligados a las luchas por la memoria y la defensa de los derechos humanos y, por el otro, por un equipo técnico de trabajadores que llevan a cabo las tareas cotidianas de la institución. En este libro se indaga cómo fue la inscripción de la CPM en el campo de los derechos humanos y la memoria. Abordar esta agencia estatal en el marco de las lógicas de este campo permite ver con profundidad el proceso a través del cual la institución nació y en qué contexto político y social lo hizo. A su vez, puede observarse qué trayectorias y horizontes tenían sus creadores y qué estrategias institucionales guiaron su armado. Por último, el análisis de la CPM en funcionamiento permite reconocer que algunas de sus cualidades distintivas reflejan el modo en que la institución eligió inscribirse en las estructuras administrativas del Estado y en el campo, con los acuerdos y los conflictos que esto acarrea.

    Description: The World Health Organization -WHO- (2016, p.1) notes that, "Annually, more than 800,000 people take their own lives and many more attempt suicide. Each suicide is a tragedy that affects families, communities, and countries and has lasting effects for those close to the suicidal person." Suicidal behavior ranges from ideation in its different expressions, through threats, gestures and attempts, to the suicide itself. The presence of any of these indicators (ideation, threats, gestures and attempts) should be considered as a sign of high risk in the individual presenting them. The relationship between suicide and mental disorders is quite close, however, it does not mean that those who do not suffer from a mental disorder are exempt from this suicidal behavior, since there have been cases that occur impulsively as a response to a crisis that affects the ability to cope with the difficulties of life, such as economic problems, the breakup of sentimental or family relationships, or chronic pain and illness.

    Description: The first components of developmental psychology can perhaps be traced back to the social recognition of infancy and childhood. Many historians agree that this recognition came late. The French historian Philippe Ariès argues that in medieval society there was no room for childhood or the child as theoretical constructs. They would emerge in the course of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Thus, although a certain sensitivity towards childhood appeared between the 16th and 17th centuries, it would seem that it was only in the 18th century that the child became the object of concern for some thinkers, mostly philosophers and pedagogues. There are several authors who are referents and it is worthwhile to review them, even if only briefly. At the time, Rousseau (1712-1778), in his Emilium, proposes an education centered on the natural evolution of the child, in which he highlights his particularities and differences and places childhood as a necessary and fundamental stage for man. The pedagogue Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi (1746-1827), sympathizes with some of Rousseau's ideas on the education of children and keeps a diary of his son's first two years, which becomes one of the first systematic observations that is assumed to be a precursor of observational methodology in early development. In line with the above, this text can only be understood as a first attempt, unfinished and open, to be continued. It is what the Anglos call a "text in progress", and that the ebook edition will allow us to reopen it without major difficulties. It is also, of course, an incitement to readers to complement it, discuss it or even controvert it. This is intended to be a living text and discussed within the community. It is possible that certain hypotheses about the facts found will give rise to controversy. A colleague warned that lightning will surely strike it as it is a provocative text. Let's hope so: as long as they are illuminating, it will have partially fulfilled its purpose. In any case, there remains a taste for scrutinizing our past more closely with a view to the future and not only to what could not be.

    Description: Los primeros componentes de la psicología del desarrollo tal vez puedan situarse a partir del reconocimiento social de la infancia y de la niñez. Muchos historiadores coinciden en afirmar que ese reconocimiento fue tardío. El historiador francés Philippe Ariès sostiene que en la sociedad medieval no había espacio para la infancia ni para el niño como constructos teóricos. Ellos emergerían en el transcurrir de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Quelle est enfin l’incidence des dominations étrangères sur cette configuration hindoue ? Telles sont les principales questions qui nourrissent ici le propos de ce double recueil. L’analyse des textes, la critique historique, les descriptions ethnographiques s’y mobilisent pour en interroger l’actualité et les valeurs.

    Description: À voir le nombre actuel de travaux qui lui sont consacrés, le lieu commun, qui fut pourtant longtemps un paria et un proscrit, semble aujourd’hui populaire. Mais sa récente réhabilitation dans le paysage de la critique contemporaine aurait de quoi faire réfléchir la critique elle-même. Qu’avait-elle perdu en le vouant aux gémonies, si ce n’est peut-être ce « commun », ce lieu pour la communauté ? Et nous, qu’espérons-nous faire avec le lieu commun, si ce n’est réconcilier l’activité lettrée avec sa dimension politique, et par là défendre la place des humanités dans l’espace public ? Telle est donc notre hypothèse : le lieu commun, banal et abandonné, laissé au public et aux discussions de café, aurait à voir avec la chose publique et notre propre désir de communauté. En remontant aux sources de la pratique « humaniste » des lieux communs à la Renaissance, jusqu’à leur traitement dans l’enseignement et dans la transmission de la culture, les différents articles réunis ici entendent réinterroger la dimension proprement politique de l’usage des lieux communs par les lettrés de jadis et les critiques de naguère, mettant à l’épreuve le pont que cette culture entend jeter entre les générations via l’institution des « humanités » comme ciment d’une communauté à travers les âges, dans une prétention pacifique et universelle mais au risque de l’exclusion des individus.

    Description: Il web costituisce oggi l’agorà in cui una molteplicità di soggetti scambia contenuti multimediali in tempo reale, agendo di volta in volta come produttore, fruitore o semplice “ripetitore”. In questa sorta di realtà di secondo grado, parallela al mondo reale, non potevano mancare i contenuti di carattere agiografico, tanto più in un’epoca che è stata definita di “rivincita del sacro”: il santo è ancora – o è tornato a essere – elemento vitale nella religiosità contemporanea ed è diventato oggetto di curiosità per una platea più ampia dei soli fedeli o praticanti cattolici. Allo scopo di indagare questa nuova dimensione del sacro risponde il presente volume, spazio di riflessione incentrato non tanto sul mezzo in sé quanto sullo specifico tema dei santi e delle devozioni del mondo contemporaneo, visti attraverso la lente del web.

    Description: This book has a series of characteristics that are worth highlighting. It begins its construction with a team of researchers from the Cognition and Representational Development Group of the Research Center of the Universidad del Valle, which articulates several groups such as the Research Group on Evaluation and Quality of Education (Giece); the Education Group, the Cognitive Development, Learning and Teaching Group, and the Cognition and Education Group. Likewise, the three doctoral programs in psychology in the region participate in its elaboration: Universidad del Valle, Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali. In the first one, the authors were trained and learned that nonlinear dynamical systems can be a conceptual and methodological way to approach the study of cognitive development. The different works that make up the chapters of the book are ascribed to nonlinear dynamical systems, which offer an innovative conceptualization for thinking about developmental psychology in general and cognitive development in particular. This pioneering and committed task of the group materializes in significant advances in the use of methodologies more in line with the conceptual principles assumed.

Inicia su construcción con un equipo de investigadores del Grupo Cognición y Desarrollo Representacional, del Centro de Investigaciones de la Universidad del Valle, que articula diversos grupos tales como el Grupo de Investigación en Evaluación y Calidad de la Educación (Giece); el Grupo Educación, el Grupo Desarrollo Cognitivo, Aprendizaje y Enseñanza, y el Grupo Cognición y Educación. Así mismo, en su preparación involucra los tres programas de doctorado en psicología de la región: el de la Universidad del Valle, el de la Universidad de San Buenaventura Cali y el de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali. En el primero de ellos se formaron los autores y aprendieron que los sistemas dinámicos no lineales pueden ser un camino conceptual y metodológico para abordar el estudio del desarrollo cognitivo. Los distintos trabajos que conforman los capítulos del libro se adscriben a los sistemas dinámicos no lineales, que ofrecen una conceptualización innovadora para pensar la psicología del desarrollo en general y el desarrollo cognitivo en particular. Esta tarea pionera y comprometida del grupo, se concreta en avances significativos en el uso de metodologías más acordes con los principios conceptuales asumidos.

    Description: De acuerdo a leyendas incaicas, a Inicios de los años 1400 hubo una batalla en las afueras del Cusco que cambió el curso de la historia sudamericana. Los chancas, un poderoso grupo étnico de la región de Andahuaytas, habían comenzado un agresivo plan de expansión. Habiendo ya conquistado pequeñas entidades políticas, su ejército habia penetrado profundamente en el territorio de sus tradicionales rivales, los incas. Mediante una serie de maniobras inusuales, los incas derrotaron a las fuerzas invasores chancas y llegaron a transformarse en el grupo más poderoso de los Andes. Muchos investigadores creen quo la derrota do los chancas representa un momento crítico en la histona de Sudamérica, ya que los incas luego continuaron su expansión, estableciendo el más extenso imperio do América. A pesar de la relevancia que habría tenido para la historia sudamericana, hasta hace unos años, el núcleo territorial Chanca había permanecido inexplorado. Consecuentemente, los procesos culturales conducentes al rápido desarrollo de este grupo y la posterior derrota de los mismos a manos de los incas tampoco habían sido investigados. Entre 2001 y 2004, Brian S. Bauer y su equipo de investigación realizaron una prospección arqueológica en la región de Andahuaylas. Este proyecto constituyó una oportunidad sin precedentes para examinar problemas teóricos relativos a la historia y al desarrollo cultural de las sociedades prehispánicas tardías de esta región de los Andes. El libro derivado de dichos trabajos presenta un análisis arqueológico sobre el desarrollo do los chancas y examina su derrota final frente a los incas.

Relación esta que se da entre una escuela ubicada en el Municipio de San Miguel y los hechos ocurridos en la guarnición militar Campo de Mayo durante la última dictadura. El libro estudia el proceso de enseñanza que se da cuando una profesora de historia y sus alumnos de sexto año realizan un producto cultural destinado a la comunidad: un libro que recopila diversos testimonios de habitantes de San Miguel a propósito de la conmemoración de 30 años de democracia.

    Description: This volume looks at the Finnish-German military alliance (1941–1944) as a translation zone – a multilingual network of military, administrative and civilian encounters that was held together by linguistically versed soldiers and civilians acting as interpreters and translators. It focuses on interpreters and liaison officers of the Finnish Liaison Staff in Rovaniemi, who were assigned to the staffs of the German army units with the task of maintaining communication between the two armies and assisting German troops in their daily matters. Furthermore, attention is paid to Finnish civilians, especially women whose language skills made them candidates for a range of mediation tasks in the German units. The reconstruction of military interpreters’ and liaison officers’ tasks and mediation agency between the two military cultures is based on their war-time weekly reports, whereas the civilian interpreters’ experiences are drawn from a variety of autobiographical accounts, including interviews.

    Description: The Naviglio di Ivrea (Turin) sketched in sheet 563r of the Atlantic Code, drew Leonardo’s attention when he was working as hydraulic engineer in the nearby Milan. A research on the rich documentation available in local archives led to identify techniques and materials used to build the Naviglio, often similar to those in Leonardo’s hydraulic studies and drawings, and to show both its interaction with the surrounding territories and the continuous updates in hydraulic engineering from the XV to the XIX centuries. The persisting relevance of the canal through centuries is a testament to Leonardo’s ancient intuition.

    Description: Le sentiment domine aujourd’hui que l’utopie serait derrière nous : les contre-utopies occupent notre imagination, comme pour refléter la fin des espérances politiques et l’absence d’horizon de notre siècle désenchanté. Après la chaîne de catastrophes du xxe siècle, qui aurait démontré que l’utopie n’a rien à faire avec la réalité historique, l’utopie n’aurait plus d’intérêt, désormais, que pour l’histoire littéraire : on pourrait en dresser le bilan comme d’une forme du passé sans songer à en poursuivre la tradition, de toute façon épuisée, ni la renouveler. Mais la vogue actuelle de la contre-utopie est-elle vraiment le symptôme d’une société malade qui ne saurait plus éprouver d’enthousiasme ? Les contre-utopies n’ont-elles pas quelque chose à nous apprendre sur l’utopie elle-même, et sur l’ambiguïté fondamentale du genre depuis ses origines ? Enfin n’observe-t-on pas aujourd’hui, en réplique au catastrophisme présent, un renouveau de l’imaginaire utopique dans la littérature et les arts, dont les formes et les enjeux restent à comprendre ? À rebours des discours critiques ou mélancoliques, ce numéro de La Licorne examine cinq siècles d’histoire d’un genre bien plus divers et ambigu qu’on ne le croit souvent. Montrant les zones d’ombre des utopies classiques et la résistance de l’élan utopique au cœur des textes contemporains les plus sombres, les articles rassemblés ici invitent à redécouvrir un imaginaire critique dont on ne saurait concevoir, même et surtout en ces temps de catastrophe, l’épuisement.

    Description: È raro incontrare i termini “religiosa”, “sacra” o “devozionale” tra i diversi aggettivi che accompagnano il sostantivo “fotografia”. Si tratta di una tipologia non rilevata, a dispetto di un fenomeno che si presenta fin dalle origini di dimensioni rimarchevoli. Questo volume si prefigge di porre l’accento non tanto sulla fotografia come fonte per la storia religiosa, quanto sul suo utilizzo nei processi di promozione del culto dei santi e nella prassi devozionale: l’introduzione della macchina fotografica nella sfera del sacro e la sua evoluzione in una pratica di “massa” determinano l’inserimento dell’immaginario agiografico nell’universo mediatico in un processo di contaminazione tra sacro e profano. Il volume si caratterizza per un approccio marcatamente interdisciplinare in cui la prospettiva storico-religiosa e agiografica si confronta con la storia della fotografia, l’antropologia, la sociologia, la storia dell’arte.

Prolongeant les travaux antérieurs, en particulier de Robert Mauzi dans L’idée du bonheur dans la littérature et la pensée françaises au xviiiesiècle, le présent recueil se propose une exploration de cette « idée-force » qui « éclaire l’unité du siècle » et qui « recouvre toutes les contradictions du temps ». Plusieurs domaines sont minutieusement explorés : littéraire, social, politique, philosophique, esthétique et éthique. Cette notion complexe et polysémique est approchée chez des auteurs tels que Rousseau, Diderot, Casanova ou Rétif de La Bretonne. Les divers axes et perspectives de recherche suggèrent l’expansion de cette idée-slogan : théories de la fiction, histoire des idées, poétique des genres et regards croisés. En soulignant la solidarité entre le mouvement des idées et l’analyse de la société et des arts, les contributions réunies ici font émerger la sensibilité d’une époque, les représentations et les expériences collectives et individuelles.

    Description: This volume investigates the functional-semantic field of aspectuality in relation to the role of language contact in the development of minority languages in Italy and beyond, highlighting hitherto completely unknown parallels, e.g. contact-induced development of progressive and prospective verbal periphrases. The influences of the dominant languages surface not only in Slavic derivational verbal aspect, but also in the restructuring of morphosyntactic reflexes of aspect.     Description: Le Lalitavistara sūtra ou Sūtra du développement des jeux du Bodhisattva représente l'une des biographies traditionnelles du Buddha historique. Connu en Asie dès les premiers siècles de l'ère chrétienne, puis en Europe à partir du XIXe siècle, ce classique de la littérature bouddhique fut traduit plusieurs fois en chinois sous les dynasties Jin et Tang et inspira les artistes du Gandhāra (Pakistan) comme ceux de Borobudur (Indonésie). Basé sur la lecture du texte sanskrit et de ses traductions chinoises, le commentaire proposé dans ce volume permet de se familiariser avec cette œuvre unique issue de la doctrine nouvelle du mahāyāna, ou grand véhicule, tout en perpétuant des épisodes biographiques du Buddha des écoles anciennes. Sont ainsi abordés les différents genres littéraires, la structure du sūtra, les sources textuelles et mythologiques qui ont inspiré son auteur, ainsi que les thèmes de la souffrance, de l’impermanence, des jeux du Bodhisattva, etc. Ce parcours d’ensemble invite à mieux comprendre la manière dont la vie du Buddha a été écrite.

    Description: Mechthild of Hackeborn represents medieval mysticism. Her Revelations were written down in the 1290s in Helfta, Germany. The oldest surviving versions are in Latin, but in the Middle Ages, the Revelations were translated at least into Dutch, English, Swedish, and German. The text was translated into Swedish in 1469 by Jöns Budde, a Bridgettine brother from Naantali. Budde made few omissions but many additions in the text, mainly explanations to meet the needs of the Bridgettine sisters. Budde’s translation is faithful to the original text, and he made few mistakes. My Finnish translation of the text follows Budde’s version where possible. However, Budde translated an abridged version that omitted some chapters, and the only surviving copy of Budde’s translation is incomplete. I have therefore translated the missing sections from Latin and incorporated them in the text. My translation also includes editorial comments on the language, the contents, and the historical and theological contexts of the Revelations.

    Description: La notion de plasticité, délicate à définir, peut être éclairée en fonction du domaine précis dans lequel elle est contextualisée et envisagée. Le point de vue qui la met au cœur d’une dynamique de pensée est ici celui de l’analyse littéraire. En important dans le champ littéraire une réflexion a priori liée aux arts plastiques, en nommant des modalités de la plasticité révélées dans l’écriture, ce recueil d’articles explore les œuvres littéraires avec un regard nouveau, une approche originale, car il relève ce qui, dans les écritures, suggère et réalise un rêve des écrivains, la possibilité d’une dimension sensible donnée à leur œuvre, celle-ci transgressant les limites du lisible pour s’accomplir comme forme également visuelle et visible, sonore et audible. Ces articles ne limitent pas leurs corpus à une époque ou à un genre littéraire (poésie, roman, théâtre). Ils prennent le parti de dégager, tant dans le contenu que dans la forme des textes, ce qui stimule chez le lecteur une perception complexe et un imaginaire doué de plasticité. Ces propositions de définitions de la plasticité centrées sur la littérature participent d’une réflexion rendue cruciale dans un contexte plus général où l’utilisation fréquente du mot « plasticité » est avérée dans de nombreux domaines.
