Article It is known that mesenchymal stem cells contribute to chemotherapy resistance by secreting polyunsaturated fatty acids. Here the authors show that macrophages in the spleen secrete lysophosphatidylcholines and contribute to chemotherapy resistance by altering the tumour's DNA damage response.
