Investigations on Metal Catalysts. XXI. Physico-chemical Characterization of Pt—Ru and Pt—Ru/η-Al2O3 CatalystsPt—Ru samples were prepared by reduction of mixtures of ammonium compounds (cp. „Inhaltsübersicht“) by means of H2. Impregnation method was applied in the preparation of η-Al2O3 supported catalysts (series A: H2[PtCl6] and H2[RuCl6], series B: (NH4)2[PtCl6] and „Ruthenium-red“).The samples were characterized by DTA, X-ray measurements, N2 adsorption and CO chemisorption, resp. The influence of the composition of the bimetallic crystallites on the dispersion and the sorption behaviour with respect to CO is discussed.
Notes:
