Description: Anzali wetland is one of the most important places for spawning fishes and zooplankton groups are the first consumer in this ecosystem . they are the perfect food for the larvae of fishes. Zooplankton status was evaluated in 6 stations of different areas of the Anzali wetland during March 2011 to February 2012. Sampling was done by tube (PVC) and passing through of 30 micron planktonic net. The samples were identified and counted by invert microscope. According to the results were identified 60 Genus and 6 phylum (11, 31, 10, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2 genus of phylum Protozoa, Rotatoria, Arthropoda, Gastrotricha, Mollusca, Tardigrada, Nematoda, Porifera, Annelida) respectively. The results showed that the maximum annual average density of zooplankton was observed with 2497 number per litre in Karkan station and the population was more in the summer than in other seasons. Phylum of Rotatoria,, protozoa and superclass Copepoda formed 48, 45 and 6percent of the density espectively. According to the results the populationof zooplankton did not change much compared to past studies, excluding Protozoa but the diversity of all zooplankton groupe are declined very much. According to the statistical analysis Kruskal Wallis are not significant differences between density of zooplankton in different stations, months and seasons (p 〉 0.05),but significant differences were found in different phylum together (p 〈 0.05).

Description: Phytoplankton groups are very important producers in the anzali lagoon that have a significant role in the quality of water and the need to be constantly study their sequence and density. The surveywas conducted in six workstations March 1389-Feb 2012. Samples were taken for a liter of water with plicae (P.V.C) and fixed with formalin to 4% ratio. Five ml of the sample after becoming homogeneous, was sequestration for 24 hours in the laboratory and identified and counted by invert microscope. Based on the results of this reviews 67 genus (22, 26, 9, 5, 1, 2, 1, and 1 genus respectively of the Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta branches, Cryptophyta, Euglenophyta Chrysophyta, Pyrrophyta, the Xanthophyta) were identified. The results showed that the phytoplankton density was the most in Sorkhankol and Komeh Aghajani stations with annual average of 24387483±5643414 and 20381250 ± 5488084 per liter respectively. The Bacillariophyta ( particularly Cyclotella) was dominant in all of stations but high density of blue green algae (Cyanophyta) in Komeh aghajani station from July to mid-October have caused the annual average of these phylum is more than Bacillariophyta. In General, the average density of phytoplankton was the highest in summer than other seasons and was the lowest value in the fall. The number of the genus identified in this survay is less than previous studies. Compare this survey with the last studies reviews shows that diversity is reduced in the current situation in the anzali than previous studies. According to thestatistical analysis of the Kruskal Wallis, the density of phytoplankton had no significant differences in the different months, stations and seasons (p 〉0.05) but the phytoplankton phylums have significant differences (p 〈 0.05) together.

Description: The aim of this study was to find the best location for establishment of rainbow trout culture and hatcheries farms on Zayanderood’s river region in Charmahal and Bakhtiyari province. This survey carried out over ten station along Zayanderood’s river. The result of physical and chemical analysis showd that the annual average of air temperature varied from 9.5oc o 10oc wehre the pH annual average value were between 7.5 and 8.8. the dissolve oxygen concentration in stations except in rainbow trout farm effluent were above 10 mg/l. the other chemical , pollutant as well as pesticides levels were under the limiting concentration for rainbow trout culture and Hatcheries activity . The plankton survey showed that the Bacillurophyta were the dominant group of phytoplankton where protozoa constituted the most abundant group of zooplankton the Benthic organisms sensitive to pollutant in particular Epirus were dominant group in all stations . In regard to fishes presence in river , five species of Ciprinidae , one species from Balitoridae and one species from salmonidae families were identified . The capacity for development of rainbow trout culture for tow phase period in Zayanderood’s river region with respect to self purification potential (self purification potential were determined from the oxidation of the effluent of the only active trout farm of the river region), minimum of 10 L/s water requirement for production of trout in concrete canal and pond system and 1L/S water need for production in semi circular closed system were estimated to be 5202 metric tons.

Description: The Lake Vahdat’s dam ( Kordkandi reservoir ) is located in 75 kilometers eastern of Tabriz in the East of Azerbaijan province With 37°59’ and 46°55’of latitude and attitude ,respectively. The purpose of the Dam is, storage of 6 million m3 of Ojan chai river for aquaculture use in the region. This study was carried out to investigate the possibility of increasing production in the Vahdat’s Dam and some biotic and abiotic factors of lake, such as physico-chemical properties of water, planktons, bentics, icthiology and characteristics of lake's bed were focused. Due to the area of the lake and proximity of the stations to each other, the entrance and estuary of the river as one station and lake as the second station were designated. In the case of phytoplankton, 42 genera were identified from 5 phylom, with 59% Cyanophyta and 21.5% for chlorophylls. For zooplankton, the highest frequency and variety related to the Rotatoria were 50.9% in the spring , which fed by fish and their larvae due to Omega-3 fatty acide. After Rotatoria, Ciliaphora were the most frequent. For Bentics, two sampling steps were carried out in the winter of 2007 and spring of 2008. The high biomass of Tubificidae was showed 0.034 gr ) 84.35/ m3)and 0.42 gr (143.7 /m2) in the winter of 2007 and spring of 2008, respectively. For Ictiology study, the high percentage frequency of fish related to Carassius auratus 42% and Hypophthalmichthys molitrix 38%. The biodiversity of fishes in the lake were confirmed by 12.5 % Alburnus hohenackeri , 87.5 % Carassius gibelio, Carassius auratus, Cyprinus carpio, Hemiculter leucisculus, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Hypophthalmichthys nobilis and Ctenopharyngodon idella. One of the most important environmental factors for aquaculture is temperature condition. Now, warm water fish were farmed in the behind of the Dam. The optimal temperature for these fish should be 15-30 ° C. According to the synoptic station of Bostanabad, the temperature of the study area of the Wahdat’s Dam is more than 15 ° C in the four months of the year (from June to September) which is suitable for aquaculture of Cyprinidae. The ice freeze days of the Bostanabad is about 124.6 days , anually. Therefore, the production of warm water fish has been faced with extreme temperature limitation in this lake and only in the short time of the year (mid-spring to end of summer) favorble condition exist for warm water fish farming. Based on the average area of the lake, the production capacity of Cilver Carp and Big head is estimated to be 2.34 and 1.73 tons, respectively. Therefore, assuming of average weight ( 15-20 gr) of fingerlings, 10000 and 7500 number of fingerling shoud be needed for silver carp and big head, repectively.accurding to decresing of variety of bentices founa, increasing of carp production or any other bentic feeder species is needed to manually feeding. In addition to the favorable chemical conditions of water for aquaculture and due to the limited volume of water during summer and suitable temprature of water in spring and fall can farm the fish in the top of the dam. In this regard (HDPEG) cages was established with 750 m3 and 800-1000 number of fish per cge ( 60% cilver carp, 20% big head, 20% carp)with 4.5 ton potential of production. The suitable dimensions of cage are 25-30 diameter, 5 height. There are ten cages fed by artificial food and natural production. Of course there is tourism potential opportunity which can think about that in this area.

Description: To reveal the fisheries productivity and to get the maximum possible exploitations of the running water resources, existing potentials for aquaculture in Shit and Kordabad rivers in Tarom of Zanjan province were surveyed in a one year round study. In this way 4 and 3 sampling site were respectively selected in Shit and Kordabad rivers and benthic macroinvertebrates and water samples were collected and analyzed at least two times a season and fish fauna were also sampled and studied only two times during the period. All the measured water quality characteristics(such as O2, water temperature, pH, nutrients, NH3, BOD5 and . . . ) were within the normal range suggested for the cold water fish culture. In both rivers no significant differences (p≤95%) were detected for physicochemical parameters within the study sites except for electrical conductivity and total hardness which differed in the firs and last station. Depletion of Agricultural run off and residual from the adjacent farmlands and municipal drainages into the water body of the rivers, were certainly effective in these changes However none of water quality parameters exceed the maximum permitted level for aquaculture. According to the benthic macroinvertebrates study 38 family of 12 taxa and 26 family of the 11 taxa were identified in Shit and Kordabad rivers respectively, most of them belonged to the aquatic insect larvae of the sensitive groups. Community structure indices and Hilsenhof family level biotic index proved a "very good" to "good" water quality criteria for the study sites in both rivers .One fish species in Shit and five species (4 of them were endemic) were identified in Kordabad river. Despite acceptable water quality in Shit river, some inhibiting factors such as adjacent farmlands and dense agricultural land use, high slope of river valley in most region which cause rare suitable lands for locating aquaculture sites, very limited access to road and electricity supply and lack of acceptability to manipulate or divert river water for fish farms, by the local people, are the major constrains for constructing trout farms in Shit river. However constructing a 15 mt capacity rainbow trout farm is possible at first 2 kilometers of the upstream where the water quality and quantity are relatively better and there are some lands with low slope and access to road and electricity supply. Kordabad river has a similar criteria and water quality and quantity at upstream is desirable for rainbow trout culture. The first 2 kilometer of this river is capable of constructing trout farms in some non cultivated lands. Moreover the Kordabad natural dam reservoir is available to conduct its water for further demands. In addition a total of 75mt rainbow trout production in the form of 2 or 3 separate site is possible in this river. Even though the local climate particularly in Kordabad river is acceptable for carp fishes, however land limitations, soil texture and the high volume of water demands, make warm water fishes commercial production impossible.
