Notes:
Abstract The possibility of shortening the titration time with dilatometrical titrations is demonstrated. It is shown with some chemical reaction types like neutralization, oxydation-reduction, precipitation and complex formation which have already been described. Using the Quick Test Method the accuracy of dilatometrical indication remains (standard deviation ca. 2.0‰). A definite number of features which relates to the way of carrying out dilatometrical titrations characterizes the Quick Test Method (e.g. the total titration time, number of points etc.). A development of the Quick Test Method was possible, because temperature influences do not diminish the accuracy of dilatometrical titrations.
