Five-Membered Chalcogen Heterocycles as Synthons for Heterodienes Synthesis of Δ4-1,4,2λ5-Thiaza- and Δ4-1,4,2λ5-SelenazaphospholinesSyntheses of 3,3-bis(trifluoromethyl)-3H-1,2,4-thiaselenazoles 3, -3H-1,2,4-thiatellurazoles 4, and -3H-1,2,4-diselenazoles 13 are described. These new classes of compounds can be used as synthons for 1-thia-3-aza-1,3-butadienes and 1-selena-3-aza-1,3-butadienes. This strategy offers simple new synthetic routes to numerous heterocyclic systems like Δ4-1,4,2λ5-thiaza-phospholines 9, Δ4-1,4,2λ5-selenazaphospholines 15, Δ2-1,3-thiazolines 11, Δ2-1,3-selenazolines 16, 4H-1,3-thiazines 12, and 4H-1,3-selenazines 17.

Synthesen für 3,3-Bis(trifluormethyl)-3H-1,2,4-thiaselenazole 3, -3H-1,2,4-thiatellurazole 4 und -3H-1,2,4-diselenazole 13 werden beschrieben. Die neuen Verbindungsklassen eignen sich als Synthone für 1-Thia-3-aza-1,3-butadiene und 1-Selena-3-aza-1,3-butadiene. Diese Strategie bietet neue einfache Synthesemöglichkeiten für eine Vielzahl heterocyclischer Systeme, wie z. B. von Δ4-1,4,2λ5-Thiazaphospholinen 9, Δ4-1,4,2λ5-Selenazaphospholinen 15, Δ2-1,3-Thiazolinen 11, Δ2-1,3-Selenazolinen 16, 4H-1,3-Thiazinen 12 und 4H-1,3-Selenazinen 17.
