Fatigue behaviour of high strength rope wires in corrosive environmentsA report is given about stress corrosion and corrosion fatigue tests with cold drawn rope wires (galvanized and ungalvanized) in diluted acids (H2SeO4, HCl, H2SO4) and a 3% CaCl2-solution.The correlations between the mechanical-technological testing parameters (stress size or stress amplitude, frequency, strain rate, steel quality) and the rupture mechanism (classical and non-classical stress corrosion, corrosion fatigue) in the corrosive media were described and represented quantitatively.Furthermore a description is given about the favourable influence of a hot galvanization upon the fatigue behaviour of cold drawn rope wires under corrosive conditions.

Es wird über SpRK- und SwRK-Versuche mit Seildrähten aus kaltgezogenem Stahl (verzinkt und unverzinkt) in verdünnten Säuren (H2SeO4, HCl, H2SO4) und 3%iger CaCl2-Lösung berichtet.Die Zusammenhänge zwischen den mechanisch-technologischen Versuchsparametern (Spannungshöhe bzw. Spannungsamplitude, Frequenz, Dehngeschwindigkeit, Stahlqualität) und den Bruchmechanismen (klassische und nichtklassiche SpRK, SwRK) in den betreffenden Korrosionsmedien werden erläutert und quantitativ dargestellt.Der günstige Einfluß einer Feuerverzinkung auf das Schwingfestigkeitsverhalten kaltgezogener Drähte unter korrosiven Bedingungen wird beschrieben.
