Conclusions 1. The two limiting cases of the adsorption of vapors on zeolite with a relatively large volume of the cavities and a substantial number of adsorption centers formed by cations were considered from the standpoint of the concepts of volume filling of micropores. 2. In the adsorption of substances with sufficiently large molecules, even in the case of limiting filling, all the molecules of the adsorbate are in a direct interaction with the adsorption centers. The applicability of the equation of adsorption of the theory of volume filling of micropores in a temperature interval whose extent depends on the nature of the substance being adsorbed were substantiated experimentally. 3. In the case of small molecules, in addition to adsorption on active centers, the remainder of the adsorption space of the zeolite is filled, chiefly as a result of the appearance of dispersion forces. A two-membered equation of adsorption, describing the adsorption equilibria in a broad temperature interval, was obtained.
