    Description: Responsible aquaculture is a new concept in Iran but in some countries there are good historical performances. In fact this concept is as the spacial challenge for developing countries in order to improvement of aquaculturist livelihood. In bangladesh, near to 60% of the people, which the most of are villagers, live under the poor line . Developing the NGOs and their activities to reach the responsible aquaculture objectives were so effective, since this activity has been knew as profitable acuaculture and many international workshops, symposiums and conferences have been held in this regard all the world . In this project, a complex of parameters affected on preparing manegement of warmwater fish farms have been studied with using previous studies and experiments of different countries and executive guidelines of four modules prepared including: - Guidline of preparing of warmwater fish ponds - Guidline of water enrichment and using fertilization in warmwater fish ponds - Guidline of using aeration in warmwater fish ponds - Guidline of stocking method in warmwater fish ponds

    Description: Survey on zooplankton composition was studied during June 2015 to March 2016, by selecting six stations along the coastal waters of Bushehr (the Northwest Persian Gulf). Twenty four zooplankton taxa were identified, and the different zooplankton groups represented twenty-one families. Copepoda was recorded with the most abundance (53.30 %) followed by Malacostraca (32.87 %), which in turn was followed by Sagittoidea (7.44 %) and Appendicularia (6.39%). A major peak of 189.34 N/m3 was observed in February-2016 with 53.25% contribution from Copepoda. Among Copepoda, Labidocera sp. was the major contributor to this peak. Appendicularia was the comparatively less represented group, being chiefly represented by Oikopleura dioica. Labidocera sp., Oithona plumifera which were common in most of the stations. This common distribution were observed for Malacostraca, namely Lucifer hanseni (mysis I), Upogebia sp. (zoea I), Parthenope sp., Ilyoplax frater( zoea VI), for Sagittoidea, namely Sagitta enflata, Sagitta neglecta and for Appendicularia, namely Oikopleura dioica. The mean Shannon's diversity index (H') and evenness were 1.36±0.43 and, 0.68±1.17, respectively. The highest Margalef's index was recorded in station-6 (2.72±1.32) and the lowest in station-2 (1.98±0.89). According to non-significant differences between temporal and spatial zooplankton density and Shannon’s index, from an ecological point of view, it seems the study area is unique and the zooplankton composition is homogenous.

    Description: Coastal ecosystems of Bushehr are shallow environments subject to human impacts, including shrimp aquaculture and urban expansion activities. A spatial-temporal study was conducted in order to assess the actual ecological status of the creeks, estuary and marine sites on the basis of their taxonomic composition and density of mesozooplankton. Zooplankton species distribution and abundance data at 6 sampling sites during June 2015 - March 2016 revealed 24 taxa represented by 5 divergent groups. During the study period, high salinities (around 35-47) were recorded, characterizing all systems as a coastal-marine ecosystem, rather than true estuarine. The mesozooplankton assemblage was characterized by the dominant marine Copepod, Labidocera sp., zoeas of coastal/marine crab, Ilyoplax frater, marine copepod Acartia fossae and a marine pelagic tunicate, Oikopleura dioica. Copepods were the main dominant group and Labidocera sp the most abundant species, with high abundances in winter, whereas high abundances of the Ilyoplax frater were noticed in summer. Based on SIMPER analyses, highest dissimilarity was observed between Ramleh and Lashkary and discriminating taxa for all sites were Labidocera sp followed by Ilyoplax frater contributing to more than 68% of the total average dissimilarities for all locations. The multivariate BIO–ENV procedure indicated that Labidocera sp. followed by Acartia fossae strongly correlated to the variability of depth, transparency and salinity. Finally the results showed that temporal and spatial variation in the mesozooplankton community is consistent with the dynamic character of the habitat characterized as a typical coastal marine system (with low average depths, transparency and high salinity).

    Description: In this study, data were gathered from library research, discussing with feed and feeding experts in warm and cold water fish farms and also from research project implemented by executer. Standardization on selection of materials and ingredients percentage in order to prepare dry pellet feed for these two kind of cultured fishes emphasized on proximate composition energy, carbohydrate, protein with amino acids profile, lipid with fatty acid profile, minerals and vitamins and also feeding frequency, kind of feed pellet manufacture were codified environmental friendly, according to responsible aquaculture. On the other hand, feed color, taste, smell, their attraction and the best physico-chemical condition for storing of in order to get optimum result of responsible aquaculture were recorded.

    Description: Abnormal algal bloom is a global issue. So the Caspian Sea such as the other aquatic environment is at risk of algal bloom. Thus the present study in 2013-14, was conducted to get goals, firstly determination of temporal and spatial variation of phytoplankton abundance and biomass with emphasis on dominant species with bloom potential and secondly detemination of chlorophyll-a concentration. Mostly sampling conducted in mid-seasons in 4 transects (Anzali, Tonkabon, Nowshahr and Amirabad) at surface, 10 and 20m layers in depths of 5, 10 and 20m. Based on the results the annual mean±SE of phytoplankton abundance was 219 ± 33 million cells/m^3. The minimum and maximum valus of abundance recorded in summer (73 ± 31 million cells/m^3) and winter (505 ± 55 million cells/m^3) respectively. Totally 147 phytoplankton species identified which classified in 7 phyla and small phytoflagellates group. The major portion of abundance formed by Bacillariophta (81%). The minimum and maximum seasonal phytoplankton biomass were in summer (90 ± 20 mg/m^3) and winter (1777 ± 201mg/m^3) respectively. The annual median of chlorophyll-a concentration was 2.43 mg/m^3 at surface layer and its seasonal value in spring, summer, fall and winter recorded 1.54, 1.18, 5.81 and 2.59 mg/m^3 respectively. Therefore algal blooms started in fall and it was followed with lower intensity in winter. Mean of phytoplankton abundance and biomass in winter were 3-6 folds to other seasond. But chlorophyll-a concentration in winter was low and closed to the values in spring and summer. Probably, decreasing of ligh availibity and low chlorophl content of dominant species showed important roles in decreasing of chlorophyll-a concentration in winter. As conclusion, the abundance of Stephanodiscus socialis, Binuclearia lauterbornii and Thalassionema nitzschioides classified in the fair level of bloom (100-1000 cells/ml) in spring (in Anzali transect), summer and fall (in Amirabad transect) respectively. In winter, Dactyliosolen fragilissima،(in all transect except Nowshahr) and Pseudonitzschia seriata were in this group. The presence of Thalassionema nitzschioides (as valuble food in food chain) in dominant species list (same patern to the stability year of Caspian Sea) and decreasing of percent abundance of harmful species from 68% (in 2008-2009) to 43% (in this study) are good signs of water quality from Caspian Sea. On the other hand, Pseudonitzschia seriata as a harmful alga (ability to produce toxin and bloom forming) has important role in environmental issues. In current study, Pseudonitzschia seriata expanded from cold season to other seasons (even in summer). Also, it had high percent frequency (100%) and abundance (294 ± 30 million cells/m^3) in winter which indicate to unsuitable condition of water quality in Caspian Sea.

    Description: Qom Province with an area of 11,238 km^2 , surrounds about 0.68%of the country area and almost situated in the center of the country and enjoys a hot and dry climate . Because of the unique flora and fauna of the region especially the salt pools - hoze- Sultan and salt lakes enjoys a certain ecosystem in the country. Research has done in different parts of Iran and Qom province regarding the Artemia culture in salt lands that showed a great potential in the country and Qom province. The aim of this study that was held in order of Qom fisheries institute and environmental protection organization of that province and scientific leadership of Iranian Artemia Research Center, was the culture of Qom native Artemia and Artemia franciscana ( foreign species ) across Qom salt lake and determining the prevalence of cultured species in this region for this purpose, site selection and climatic and topographic data collection was held at 5 regions of Qom province. This regions were included margins of salt lake, and hoze sultan, shams abad drainage, railway station, and freshwater culture farm at the north east of Qom salt lake. margins of salt lake, and hoze sultan, were suitable for Artemia investment due to suitable climate and vast area, but they had problems in terms of technical facilities and access to areas . Also, the rail way station and plantation industry had dehydration problems. Therefore, after reviewing the field of agricultural water taken along the 45 km of Kashan and Qom Salt Lake were selected for the project because of the salty ecosystem similar to the lake, presence of salt water drainages downstream of the farm , technical facilities and a large area , soil texture and easy access to the area . For this purpose, six pools with 50 square meters near the reservoir pool available were constructed and 70 g native Artemia cysts of Qom and 23/3 g cysts of Artemia franciscana were hatched in Zooks of 10 liters for each pool ea of 50 square meters under standard condition (salinity 35 ppt pH =8, light lux 2000 and temperature 28°C). By calculating the useful volume of water for culture (112 cubic meters) and Hatching efficiency for native Artemia of Qom (40,000) and Artemia franciscana (120,000), the number of 25 nauplii per liter equal to the 2.8 million nauplii were released to each pool with size 4 × 12 m and high slope with area of 50 meter in the floor and 273 meters in the surface . Non- biological and biological studies, including algae and water analysis and population assessments were performed regularly in pools every 2 weeks. the culture period were from July to mid- October, 2009 for a period of 3/5 months. The results of algal study revealed more abundance of Cholestrium, Navicula, Nitzshia algae during culture period (105 days), that Amphora, etraselmis, Cymbella, Senedesmus, Dscillatoria, Gomphonema genera were observed, too. The results of water parameters analysis revealed that they should preserve at salinity 40–50 ppt, pH 8, water hardness 7000- 9000 mg. the results of population assessment showed a larger amounts of female broods of Qom Artemia at days 15,30 and 90 of culture with average number of 120.3, 68.8 and 29.5 per liter, respectively, comparing to Artemia franciscana with average number of 28.8, 17.5 and 7.7 per liter that was significant (p〈0.05). The results indicated the greater development and adaptation of native Artemia of Qom at the culture ecosystem of Qom (Kesht va Sanaat Ab Shirin farm at the northeast of Qom salt lake). Harvesting of Artemia biomass of native Qom with the amount of 30 kg/100m^2 showed the production of native Artemia is relatively economic and during culture period (105 days) the mean cyst production for native Qom Artemia and Artemia franciscana were 193 and 123.5 individuals/liter, respectively. It can be concluded that native Qom Artemia enjoys a greater adaptation in growth and development with the arid ecosystem of the region and can be used as a valuable biologic stock in culturing purposes and developing native Artemia strains of the country and investments in construction of Artemia culture pilots in salt areas situated at Qom salt lake .
