    Notes: Dispiro-1,2,4-trioxolanes by Ozonolysis of Cycloalkylidenecycloalkanes on PolyethyleneOzonolyses of symmetrical (1b - d) and of unsymmetrical cycloalkylidenecycloalkanes (8a, b) afforded the dispiro-1,2,4-trioxolanes 4b - d and 9a, b, respectively. Their thermal decompositions gave mixtures of the cyclic ketones (3) and lactones (6). Photolyses afforded in addition to 3 and 6 the cyclic anhydrides 13, which are isomeric with the corresponding dispiro-1,2,4-trioxolanes.

    Description / Table of Contents: Crystal Structure of BaHg(CN)4 · 4 PyridineThe structure of the tetragonal BaHg(CN)4 · 4 Pyridine (space group I4, a = 1119.4(7), c = 1 057.9(7) pm, Z = 2, dc = 1.87 g · cm-3) contains tetrahedral Hg(CN)4 and bisdisphenoide Ba(NC)4(py)4 groups, which are linked together by Hg—CN—Ba bridges. The BaHg(CN)4 framework consists of a 3-dimensional network of all round edge-sharing tetrahedrons. The analogous strontium compound is isotype with a = 1 108.2(9) and c = 1 035.3(14) pm.
    Notes: In der Struktur des tetragonalen BaHg(CN)4 · 4 Pyridin (Raumgruppe I4, a = 1119,4(7), c = 1 057,9(9) pm, Z = 2, dc = 1,87 g · cm-3) sind tetraedrische Hg(CN)4- und bisdisphenoide Ba(NC)4(py)4-Gruppen über Hg—CN—Ba-Brücken zu einem Raumnetz verknüpft. Dem BaHg(CN)4-Gerüst liegt ein Aufbau aus allseitig eckenverknüpften Tetraedern zugrunde. Die analoge Strontium-Verbindung ist isotyp mit a = 1 108,2(9) und c = 1 035,3(14) pm.

    Description / Table of Contents: Antitumor Active cis-Platinum(II) Complexes with α-Amino Acid Esters and Peptide Esters. X-Ray Structure of cis-Dichlorobis(glycylglycine ethyl ester)platinum(II)A series of cis-platinum(II) complexes X2PtL2 (1-4) (X = halide, 2X = oxalate, malonate; L = α-amino acid ester, peptide ester) has been obtained from Pt42- and L. The dipeptide ester complexes are also accessible via peptide synthesis at the complex from Cl2Pt(NH2CHRCO2H)2 and α-amino acid esters using carbodiimide as coupling agent and the platinum atom as amino protecting group. The complexes Cl2PtL2 with α-amino acid ester ligands have also been prepared from the bis(chelate) compounds cis-Pt(NH2CHRCO2)2 and alcohol in the presence of HCl. The complexes have been characterized by their spectroscopic data, cis-Cl2Pt(GlyGlyOEt)2 (2a) by an X-ray analysis.
    Notes: Eine Reihe von cis-Platin(II)-Komplexen X2PtL2(1-4) (X = Halogenid, 2X = Oxalat, Malonat; L = α-Aminosäureester, Peptidester) wird aus PtX42- und L erhalten. Entsprechende Komplexe mit Dipeptidester-Liganden sind auch durch Peptidsynthese am Komplex aus Cl2Pt-(NH2CHRCO2H)2 und α-Aminosäureestern mit Carbodiimid als Kupplungskomponente und Platin als Aminoschutzgruppe zugänglich. Die Verbindungen Cl2PtL2 mit α-Aminosäureester-Liganden lassen sich auch aus den Bis(chelat)-Komplexen cis-Pt(NH2CHRCO2)2 und Alkohol in Gegenwart von HCl gewinnen. Die cis-Struktur der Verbindungen wurde spektroskopisch, die von Cl2Pt(GlyGlyOEt)2 (2a) durch Röntgenstrukturanalyse nachgewiesen.

    Description / Table of Contents: Platinum(II) Complexes of Vinylogous Amino IsocyanidesIsocyanide platinum(II) complexes trans-[(Ph3P)2LPtCl]+Cl- (2) (L = vinylogous aminoisonitrile are formed from cis-(Ph3P)2PtCl2 and L; the cations of 2 have been isolated as PF6- salts (3). At higher temperatures the salts 2 give the neutral complexes cis-(Ph3P)LPtCl2 (4) and PPh3. Treatment of 4 with amines HNR2R3 affords the diaminocarbene complexes cis-[(Ph3P)[(R1R3N)C]PtCl(amine)]+Cl- (isolated as PF6- salts 5) which on heating give the compounds cis-(Ph3P)[R1HN)(R2R3 N)C]PtCl2 (7).
    Notes: Isocyanid-Platin(II)-Komplexe trans-[Ph3P)2LPtCl]+Cl- (2) (L = vinyloges Aminoisonitril entstehen aus cis-Ph3P)2PtCl2 und L; sie werden als stabile PF6--Salze (3) isoliert. Die Verbindungen 2 spalten beim Erhitzen Ph3P ab unter Bildung der neutralen Komplexe cis-(Ph3P)LPtCl2 (4), die sich mit Aminen HNR2R3 zu den Diaminocarben-Komplexen cis-(Ph3P)[R1HN)(R2R3 N)C]PtCl(amine)+Cl2 (7) umsetzen, wobei als Zwischenstufen ionische Verbindungen [(Ph3P)[R1HN)(R2R3N)C]PtCl(amin)] +PF6- (5) gefaßt wurden.

    Notes: Reactive Platinum Complexes with α-Amino Acid Derivatives and their 31P- and 15N Nuclear Magnetic Resonance SpectraThe α-amino acidate chelate complexes (n-Bu3P)(Cl)⊓PtNH2CH(R)COO (1a - c) (R = H, CH3, CHMe2) react with thionyl chloride, phosphorus pentachloride, or acetyl chloride by cleavage of the chelate ring to give complexes with α-amino acyl chloride or acetic glycine anhydride as ligands: (n-Bu3P)Cl2Pt(NH2CH2COCl) (2), (n-Bu3P)Cl4Pt(NH2CH(CHMe2)COCl) (6), (n-Bu3P)-Cl2Pt(NH2CH2CO(O)OCCH3) (4). Using 15N enriched amino acids, the IR, 15N and 31P NMR spectra indicate cis orientation of phosphane and amino groups in all these complexes.

Using 2-pyridinecarbonitrile, (2-cyanoethyl)diphenylphosphane, (2-cyanophenyl)diphenylphosphane or (2-isocyanoethyl)diphenylphosphane new chelate complexes 9, 10, 12-15, 17 have been obtained via cycloaddition and bonding of the pyridine N-atom or the diphenylphosphino group, respectively, to the metal atom.
    Notes: Amino-, Phosphino- und Thionitrile werden an die Azidliganden planarer d8-Verbindungen von PdII, PtII, RhI und IrI unter Bildung von 5-R-Tetrazolato-Komplexen 2-8 addiert. Neuartige Chelat-Komplexe 9, 10, 12-15, 17 werden mit 2-Pyridincarbonitril, (2-Cyanethyl)diphenylphosphan, (2-Cyanphenyl)diphenylphosphan bzw. (2-Isocyanethyl)diphenylphosphan erhalten, wobei Cycloaddition und Bindung des Pyridin-N-Atoms bzw. der Diphenylphosphinogruppe an das Metall erfolgt.
