Description: In the present study, the possibility of marine culture of Asian sea bass in the shrimp earthen ponds located in the Gwadar r region (coastal area of Oman Sea, southeastern of Iran) was investigated. To this end, Asian sea bass frys reared for 7 months including 1 month nursery and 6 months growth-period. During the culturing periods, fish were feed ad libitum by various commercial rainbow trout diets based on fish growth stages. After nursery period, the average weight of 11.05±1.5 g and survival percent of 65 % were obtained for fish. During the growth-out period, the average weight increased continually from 31.4±4.7 g in late June to 252.1±30 g at the end of growth-out period in late Dec. Also, the highest values of monthly weight gain yielded during August, Sept and Oct when fish had the average weight range of (76.9±14.4)-(188.1±12.8) g. The values of monthly feed conversion ratio (FCR) were low and similar from July to Oct and then increased in Nov and Dec. The values of total monthly feed intake (FI) increased continually from July to Oct and then with a decrease in Nov, increased again in Dec. The values of survival percent after nursery and growth-out period were 65 % and 66% respectively. Also, the average of monthly FCR, FCR at the time of fish harvesting, total FI and total harvested biomass were 1.36, 2.5, 630.5 kg and 325 kg. in conclusion, the pond culture of Asian sea bass with marine water results appropriate survival and growth rates so that fish (11.05±1.5 g) obtained marketable weight (252.1±30 g) during 6 months culturing period. It seems that first-half of year in Gwadar area is more suitable for sea bass culture since this time periods results better FCR ( fed by rainbow trout feed) and has economic justification. Also, with regular sorting operation and providing of species-specific feed for Asian sea bass can increase the Production per Unit Area.

Description: The aquaculture activity in provinces of north of Iran, in spite of fast progressive and possess a series of achievement and success, there was some failure, difficulties, limitation and restriction. To planning for further expansion in this faild, this study is managed. The culture of rainbow trout is practice in individual farms, small farms, water resources, earthen ponds, recycling ponds etc, which each method have its potential , failure and limitation that are consider in the present work. At the end, based on the situation of production in past years, and considering each of factors mentioned above, the success, failure, difficulties, limitation and restriction points of aquaculture of rainbow trout in technical poin of view are investigated and some command for improvement for each production method are presented. The development of aquaculture in recent years is based on extention of farms and increasing dencity of fish in fish pond. In contrast of many production activities, the propagation and culture of fish is inconstant work. This variability makes a potential for better income, occupation and job, increasing in production etc. This study make a better planning using this activity.

Description: An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of stocking density on growth and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in earthen pond. Fish with 13 g initial weight examined in three treatment 3, 6 and 9 fish/m2 in duplicates. Fish were fed on rainbow trout commercial food during the 105 days of culturing period at a restricted feeding program according to standard table during the light period. The results showed significant reduction in final weight, weight gain, daily growth rate, specific growth rate and survival by increasing stocking density while feed conversion rate increase by increasing stocking density( P 〈 0.05). The treatment 3 fish/m2 resulted the best growth rate (3.24 %/day) and survival (94.8 %), and the lowest feed conversion rate (0.51). So it seems that to achievement the highest profitability in earthen pond the 3 fish/m2 treatment is suitable.

Description: This study has been carried out to determine the possibility of producing Gattan fish (Barbus xanthopterus) brooders in captivity condition. For this reason during in year 2004-2005, 600 specimen of Gattan in three pond and in 2008, from two local point shilat and research center, 200 specimen in two ponds were placed. The area of each pond was 1800 square meters. In the first period of rearing, total weight and total length of nearly two years old brooders reached to 989 g and 44 cm respectively. All of the fishes were male (except one case) and they had become mature. In second rearing period, 27 percent of shilat specimens and 42 percent of research center specimens were female. In 22 months old fishes, the males and females of shilat specimens reached to mean weight 716 and 658 g and mean length 382 and 365 cm respectively. Also, the male and females of research center specimens reached to mean weight was 1195 and 11064 g and mean length 443 and 425 cm respectively, when they were 22 months old. The absolute and specific growth rate in two rearing periods showed ascending trend and the 100 percent of brooders were survived. The male fishes were matured in 2 years old and the mature female fishes were not observed. The brooders response to pituitary extract in research center specimens was found to be more than shilat specimens.

Description: An experiment was conducted to evaluate the possibility of adaptation, growth and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with 0.3g initial weight and red tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) with 0.7g initial weight in underground brackish water. Fry of Nile tilapia and red tilapia imported from Indonesia and after passing larviculture (25g) were examined separately in fiber glass tank by two replicate. Fish were fed at a restricted feeding program according to standard table during the light period. The results showed that some growth factors such as final weight, final length, daily growth rate, specific growth rate and weight gain in Nile tilapia were slightly higher than red tilapia but other factors such as survival and feed conversion rate in red tilapia were slightly higher than Nile tilapia. There were no significantly differences at 99% level among these factors. Length-weight relationship equation was w = 0.012×TL3.189 in Nile tilapia and w = 0.014×TL3.119 in red tilapia (r2 = 0.99), b value were 3.189 and 3.119 respectively in Nile and red tilapia representing isometric growth. According to the reliable growth and high survival rate (98%), it seems that both Nile and red tilapia could be good candidates for rearing in brackish water condition.

Description: This survey carried out during 3 years. We surveied posibility of artifishial hatching of Gattan(Barbus xanthopetrus). We fished brood stocks from Karkheh river and transferd them to fresh water hatcharies. We held some of brood stocks in pond and the rest were treated with hormons. We used PG as a couse in the first year. Also pure LRHA and compound of LRHA with PG or pure GnRH with metacholrooramid were used in next years. The quantity of esperms were increased after using hormon and many of female which were injected with PG became fertile. Injection of hormons carried out in one stage or two stages with 10-12 hour interval. In the third year of the project because of existence of enough brood stocks;our test were more completly..We used PG hormon and other artificial hormons for 26 femals brood stocks.15pieces or them became fertile;then handing spowning carried out on them. Larves transfered 6 days after development stages.47000 larves transfered to pond and fed with SFC They reached to 172 mg in weigth and 28 mm in length after 30 days.

Description: Species diversity of aquaculture based on introduction of endemic and exotic species, for various object to aquaculture industry. AS FAO reports in 2012, about 558 different aquatic species have been used for aquaculture production. Among these, 130 marine fishes, 169 fresh water fishes, 45 species of migratory fishes, 62 crustacean, 35 aquatic plants, 4 aquatic products (pearl,), 98 invertebrates and finally 15 other aquatics included. Increasing of world aquaculture production depended on species diversity, and exotic species play the highest rank in this field. Aquaculture development program in Iran emphasized special attention on species diversity since last half century. Wide studies and researches devoted on biology, and exotic species. Iran aquaculture industry studied 27 different exotic species, and 28 endemic species for aquaculture development and sea ranching program. In addition, about 250 different ornamental aquatics, mainly non- native included in house- aquariums. Six different exotic species have the main aquaculture production in cold water, warm water and sea water environments. Rainbow trout is the main species in cold- water, while high valued endemic species of Caspian salmon has not any role in aqua culture production. In warm water fish group, chines carps and common carp are main species, but endemic species same as shirbot, Gattan, Benny and Schizotrox have not used in aquaculture production. Despite of wide researches on marine fishes of north and south sea, not endemic fishes included in aquaculture production. The new developing production of marine fish relied on non- native fish. Although specific duration of shrimp culture based on endemic species of Penaeus indicus, it is about of 10 years that shrimp production relied on exotic species of P.vannamei. In case of sturgeon fish, this new enterprise based on endemic species of Huso huso. Finally, the aquaculture industry of Iran same as most other countries relies on exotic species.
