Description:
Experimental and theoretical studies of the dynamics of the meteor region (75-105 km) were conducted using a meteor radar system. The radar was operated for approximately 700 hours. The data were fully analyzed to yield the north/south and east/west horizontal wind components, and curve fitting routines are used to yield the daily mean winds, and the diurnal and semidiurnal tides.
