Notes:
The effects of seasonal acclimatization (i.e. simulated autumn and winter water temperature and photoperiod) on the specific growth rate, liver-somatic index, white muscle protein and RNA concentration of juvenile cod were investigated. Winter acclimatization resulted in cod having higher liver-somatic indices and white muscle RNA concentrations. The influence of environmental conditions on growth rate indices of cod are discussed in the light of these results.
