Zusammenfassung Eine Methode zur Mikrobestimmung von Kohlenstoff und Wasserstoff in Fluor- und Perfluorverbindungen wurde beschrieben. Die Probe wird in einem schnellen Sauerstoffstrom (35 ml/min) im leeren Rohr verbrannt. C und H werden gravimetrisch bestimmt. Vor Eintritt in das Natronasbeströhrchen werden die Verbrennungsprodukte durch eine Mischung von Kieselgel und Salzsäure und dann durch angesäuerte Silbernitratlösung oder über mit Silbernitrat durchsetztes Kieselgel geleitet. Die Standardabweichung liegt zwischen ±0,03 und ±0,38 für C, zwischen ±0,04 und ±0,25 für H.

Summary A method is described for the microdetermination of carbon and hydrogen in fluoro and perfluoro compounds. Samples are burned in a rapid flow of oxygen (35 ml/min) using the rapid straight empty tube method. Carbon and hydrogen are determined by gravimetry. Before entering the soda asbestos tube, the combustion products are conducted through a silica gel-hydrochloric acid mixture and then either through acidified silver nitrate solution or through silica gel transfused with silver nitrate. The standard deviation ranges from ±0.03 to 0.38 for carbon and from ±0.04 to 0.25 for hydrogen.
