    Notes: Abstract The relation between the spectral intensity of the recombination radiation and the recombination coefficient has been studied. It is shown that the electron temperature can be determined from the intensity of the continuous spectrum, even when the ratio of the recombination-radiation and bremsstrahlung intensities is unknown. Methods have been developed for determining the recombination coefficients and the electron velocity distribution with respect to the intensity of the continuous spectrum.
