Notes: Summary A comparison has been made of the radiometric scale maintained by the National Standards Laboratory of Australia and the International Pyrheliometric Scale 1956 as currently maintained in Australia. The scales appear to differ by 1.4 per cent, the value assigned to a given irradiance by the National Standards Laboratory being the higher.
