    Description / Table of Contents: Investigation on the Thermal Decomposition of Ammonium Yttrium Halides. I. Ammonium Yttrium Chlorides(NH4)3YCl6 decomposes in first step to the solid phase NH4Y2Cl7,s and gaseous NH3,g and HClg. NH4Y2Cl7,s decomposes in a second step to YCl3, NH3 and HCl. The decomposition-pressure-functions are given and from this the enthalpies of formation and the standard entropies of the phases are derived.
    Notes: Die thermische Zersetzung von (NH4)3YCl6,f erfolgt in erster Stufe in Koexistenz mit NH4Y2Cl7,f unter NH3,g und HClg-Abspaltung. NH4Y2Cl7,f zersetzt sich in einer weiteren Stufe in YCl3,f und NH3,g sowie HClg. Die Zersetzungsdruckfunktionen werden als lgp- und lgKp-1/T-Funktionen dargestellt und daraus die Bildungsenthalpien und Standardentropien der Phasen hergeleitet.
