Substitution Reactions at (η5-C5Me5)TaF4. Preparation of Benzamidinato Complexes of the Type (η5-C5Me5)TaF3[(NSiMe3)2C—Ar]. X-Ray Crystal Structure Analysis of (η5-C5Me5)TaF3[(NSiMe3)2C—C6H4—OMe]Cp*TaF4 (I) (Cp* = η5-C5Me5) reacts with the lithium salts of para-substituted benzamidinates (II-VII) under elimination of LiF to form the complexes Cp*TaF3[(NSiMe3)2C—C6H4—R] (VIII-XIII) (R = H, CF3, NMe2, Me, CN, OMe). The p-methoxy substituted complex has been investigated by X-ray crystal structure analysis. It shows pseudo trigonalbipyramidal environment of the tantalum atom.

Cp*TaF4 (I) (Cp* = η5-C5Me5) reagiert mit den Lithiumsalzen verschiedener para-substituierter Benzamidinate (II-VII) unter Abspaltung von LiF zu den Komplexen Cp*TaF3[(NSiMe3)2C—C6H4—R] (VIII-XIII) (R = H, CF3, NMe2, Me, CN, OMe). Der p-methoxy-substituierte Komplex wurde mit Hilfe der Röntgenstrukturanalyse untersucht. Er zeigt eine pseudotrigonalbipyramidale Umgebung des Tantalatoms.
