Description / Table of Contents: On the Effect of Solvents on Acidity and Stability of Complexes from Pyrazolone Derivatives and Substituted 8-QuinolinolsAcidity constants as well as stability constants of zinc and nickel chelates with 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazol-5-one and analogous thio derivatives were determined for dioxane/water mixture (v/v = 75%). Some informations about the dependence of the acidity on the composition of the solution in the range from 0 to 75% dioxane could be received in the case of 1-p-sulfophenyl-3-methyl-4-phenylhydrazono-pyrazol-5-one and 7-iod-8-quinolinol-5-sulfonic acid (fer-ron). For ferron as an example the effects on acidity on complex stability of zinc and nickel chelates in dioxane/water mixtures of different composition are discussed.
