Tris-Chlorobromophosphazeno-carbenium Ion. Preparation, I.R. Spectrum, and Crystal Structure of [C(NP(Br0.78Cl0.22)3)3]SbBr6In the reaction of [C(N3)3]SbCl6 with PBr3 the anion is fully brominated. The formed PClBr2 or PCl2Br and the PBr3 react with the C(N3)3+ ion forming C(NP(Br, Cl)3)3+. [C(NP(Br0,78Cl0,22)3)3]SbBr6 crystallizes in the space group Pbca with the lattice constants a = 2792, b = 1123 and c = 1754 pm, Z = 8. Its crystal structure was determined with X-ray diffraction data and was refined to a redisual index of R = 5.2%. The structure consists of octahedral SbBr6- ions and C(NP(Br, Cl)3)3+ ions in which bromine and chlorine atoms are statistically distributed. The C, N, and P atoms lie approximately on a plane. The i.r. spectrum was recorded and assigned.

[C(N3)3]SbCl6 reagiert mit PBr3 unter Vollständiger Bromierung des Anions; das PBr3 sowie das gebildete PClBr2 oder PCl2Br setzt mit dem C(N3)3+ -Ion zu C(NP(Br, Cl)3)3+ um. [C(NP(Br0,78Cl0,22)3)3]SbBr6 kristallisiert orthorhombisch in der Raumgruppe Pbca mit den Gitterkonstanten a = 2792, b = 1123 und c = 1754 pm, Z = 8. Die Kristallstruktur wurde mit Röntgenbeugungsdaten aufgeklärt und bis zu einem Übereinstimmungsindex von R = 5,2% verfeinert. Die Struktur besteht aus oktaedrischen SbBr6--Ionen und C(Np(Br, Cl)3)3+-Ionen, in welchen Brom- und Chloratome statistisch verteilt sind. Die Atome C, N und P liegen näherungsweise in einer Ebene. Das IR-Spektrum der Verbindung wurde registriert und zugeordnet.
