Vibrational spectra of [N(PCl3)2]Cl and [N(PCl3)2]PCl6 were taken and assigned. Force constants and bond orders for the ion [N(PCl3)2]+ were calculated, assuming a P—N—P angle of 140°. The resulting values are compared with those of other phosphorus compounds. The sum of the bond orders increases from 4 to 6 with increasing electronegativities of the partners. Bond orders show pronounced dependence on ionic charge.

Es wurden die Schwingungsspektren von [N(PCl3)2]Cl und [N(PCl3)2][PCl6] aufgenommen, ausgedeutet und die Kraftkonstanten und Bindungsgrade für das Ion [N(PCl3)2]+ berechnet unter der Annahme eines Winkels PNP von 140°. Die erhaltenen Werte werden mit analogen Werten anderer Phosphorverbindungen verglichen. Es ergibt sich, daß die Summe der Bindungsgrade mit steigender Elektronegativität der Bindungspartner von 4-6 zunimmt. Weiterhin zeigt sich eine deutliche Abhängigkeit der Bindungsordnung von der Ionenladung.
