Notes: Aus Stickstoff, Sauerstoff und Brom entsteht in der Glimmentladung BrO2 · 3 NO2, das als Trinitrobromdioxyd bezeichnet wird. Die Eigenschaften dieser Verbindung werden beschrieben. Sie läßt sich ebenfalls darstellen durch Einwirkung von NO2 auf BrO2. Andere Molekeln, wie CO, SO2 und NH3 werden vom BrO2 nicht gebunden. In diesem Falle wirkt das BrO2 als starkes Oxydationsmittel.
