Notes: The current density distribution at vertical cathodes under conditions of natural convection was studied (a) by measuring the thickness of a layer of electrodeposited Cu, (b) by measuring directly the partial currents at a composite electrode. Measurements of the electrochemical potential at various heights were also made. The results are discussed from the point of view of the theory of natural convection.
