New Ladbane Derivatives from Aristeguietia pseudoarboreaThe investigation of the aerial parts of Aristeguietia pseudoarborea afforded in addition to widespread compounds five new labdane derivatives the structures of which have been elucidated by spectroscopic methods and a few chemical transformations. The absolute configuration could be deduced from the positive Cotton effect of a ketone which was obtained by partial acetylation and oxidation of the main constituent.

Die Untersuchung der oberirdischen Teile von Aristeguietia pseudoarborea ergab neben weitverbreiteten Verbindungen fünf neue Labdan-Derivate, deren Strukturen durch spektroskopische Methoden und einige chemische Umwandlungen geklärt wurden. Die absolute konfiguration wurde aus dem positiven Cotton-Effekt eines Ketons abgeleitet, das durch partielle Acetylierung und Oxidation der Hauptverbindung erhalten wurde.
