Acylation of Amines with Dichloromaleoyl ChlorideThe reaction of dichloromaleoyl chloride (2) with ammonia in ether yields the ammonium salt of (Z)-2,3-dichloro-3-cyanoacrylic acid (6) and with aqueous ammonia the ammonium salt of (Z)-2-amino-3-chloro-3-cyanoacrylic acid (1). With primary aliphatic and aromatic amines dichloromaleamides 8 are obtained, the two chlorine atoms of which can be replaced with other amines to form after cis/trans isomerization diaminofumaramides 11.

Dichlormaleinsäuredichlorid (2) ergibt mit Ammoniak in Ether das Ammoniumsalz der (Z)-2,3-Dichlor-3-cyanacrylsäure (6) und mit wäßrigem Ammoniak das Ammoniumsalz der (Z)-2-Amino-3-chlor-3-cyanacrylsäure (1). Mit primären aliphatischen und aromatischen Aminen werden die Dichlormaleinsäure-diamide 8 erhalten, in denen beide Chloratome durch weitere Aminbasen substituiert werden können. Unter cis/trans-Isomerisierung gelangt man dabei zu Diamino-fumarsäure-diamiden 11.
