Reactions of 2-Aminomethylene-5-halo-2H-pyrroles and 5-Halo-2-pyrrolecarbaldehydes, II. - Cyclotetramerizations of Suitable Pyrroles into Octamethylporphyrins without Acid CatalysisCyclotetramerizations of 2-aminomethyl- and 2-dimethylaminomethyl-3,4-dimethylpyrrole with dimethyl sulfate, methyl iodide, copper(II) acetate, zinc acetate, magnesium chloride, hydroperoxide, formaldehyde, benzaldehyde, and ethylmagnesium bromide have been investigated. The syntheses of the pyrroles 4-6, 8, and 9 are described.

Die Cyclotetramerisierungen von 2-Aminomethyl- und 2-Dimethylaminomethyl-3,4-dimethylpyrrol mit Dimethylsulfat, Methyliodid, Kupfer(II)-acetat, Zinkacetat, Magnesiumchlorid, Wasserstoffperoxid, Formaldehyd, Benzaldehyd und Ethylmagnesiumbromid werden untersucht. Die Synthese der Pyrrole 4-6, 8 und 9 wird beschrieben.
