Notes:
The first fullerene complex of titanium Cp2Ti(η2-C60) has been synthesized by reaction of the bis(trimethylsilyl)-acetylene complex of titanocene Cp2Ti(η2-Me3SiC2SiMe3) with an equimolar amount of fullerene-60 in toluene at room temperature under argon. An X-ray diffraction study of the complex has shown that it has the structure of a titanacyclopropane derivative.
