2.4(6)-Dichlor-pyrimidin und 2.4(6)-Dichlor-5-methyl-pyrimidin reagieren mit aliphatischen Aminen, Äthylendiamin und L-Lysin unter Aminolyse des 4-ständigen Chloratoms. Durch Hydrogenolyse erhält man NNH2-Pyrimidyl-(4)-Derivate, durch Umsetzung mit Natriumalkoholat 2-Äthoxy-pyrimidine, die zu den 2-Hydroxy-Verbindungen hydrolysiert werden können. 2-Hydroxy-5-methyl-4-alkylamino-pyrimidine werden ferner aus 2-Hydroxy-5-methyl-4-alkylamino-pyrimidin mit Aminen erhalten. 2-Hydroxy-5-methyl-4-methyl-mercapto-pyrimidin mit Aminen erhalten. 2-Hydroxy-4-alkylaminopyrimidine werden aus 2-Methylmercapto-4-chlor-pyrimidin durch Aminolyse und anschließende Säurehydrolyse synthetisiert. Die Darstellung von β-[Uracil-yl-(4)]-äthylamin und die Umsetzung mit 6-Chlor-purin wird beschrieben.
