Notes: Die durch Oxydation von Cholesterinacetat entstehende 5.6-Seco-3β-acetoxycholestan-5-on-6-säure wird als Dimethylamid mit LiAlH4 reduziert. Es entsteht 5.6-Seco-3β.5-dihydroxy-6-dimethylamino-koprostan, eine an C-5 epimere Form einer früher auf anderem Wege hergestellten Verbindung gleicher Strucktur. Es werden Umwandlungsprodukte des 5.6-Seco-Δ3-cholesten-5-on-6-säuredimethylamids beschrieben. 25-Aza-cholesterin wird aus 3β-Acetoxy-Δ5-cholensäure-dimethylamid durch Reduktion mit LiAlH4, 25-Aza-ko-rostan durch Umsetzen von Dimethylamin mit 24-Jod-cholan erhalten. 25-Aza-cholesterin hat sich als cytotoxisch erwiesen.
