    Description / Table of Contents: Reactions of Metal Coordinated Carbon Monoxide with Ylides, V. Synthesis and Methylation of a Neutral Manganeseacyl-Phosphorus Ylide[MeC5H4(CO)2(NO)Mn]PF6 (1) reacts with two equivalents Me3P=CH2 via ylide addition at the carbonyl carbon and transylidation to give MeC5H4(CO)(NO)MnC(O)HC=PMe3 (3) and [Me4P]PF6 (2). In addition, 3 is obtained from the manganese cation and Me3P=CHSiMe3 or from MeC5H4(CO)(NO)MnC(O)OMe (6) and Me3P=CH2, respectively. Treatment of 3 with MeX (X = I, SO3F) exclusively yields the manganeseacyl phosphonium salts [MeC5H4(CO)-(NO)MnC(O)CHMe—PMe3]X (7a,b). The new manganese complexes are characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy.
    Notes: [MeC5H4(CO)2(NO)Mn]PF6 (1) reagiert mit zwei Äquivalenten Me3P=CH2 unter Ylidaddition am Carbonyl-Kohlenstoff und Umylidierung zu MeC5H4(CO)(NO)MnC(O)HC=PMe3 (3) und [Me4P]PF6 (2). 3 wird außerdem aus dem Mangan-Kation und Me3P=CHSiMe3 bzw. aus MeC5H4(CO)(NO)MnC(O)OMe (6) und Me3P=CH2 erhalten. Einwirkung von MeX (X = I, SO3F) auf 3 ergibt ausschließlich die Manganacyl-Phosphoniumsalze [MeC5H4(CO)(NO)Mn-C(O)CHMe—PMe3] X (7a, b). Die neuen Mangan-Komplexe werden NMR- und IR-spektroskopisch charakterisiert.
