Metal Complexes with Carbon Sulfides and Selenides as Ligands, VI. (Dithiocarbonato-S,S′)palladium(II) Complexes through Template Synthesis from Pd(PR3)n and COS, and the Crystal Structure of (PMe2Ph)2Pd(S2CO)The complexes Pd(PMePh2)4, Pd(PMe2Ph)4 and Pd(PiPr3)2 react with COS to give the (dithiocarbonato-S,S′)palladium(II) compounds (PR3)2Pd(S2CO) (1-3). The trimethylphosphane complex (PMe3)2Pd(S2CO) (4) is obtained by ligand displacement from 1-3 and PMe3. Compound 4 is also formed from [(PMe3)3PdH]BPh4 and COS via [(PMe3)2Pd(SOCHPMe3)]BPh4 as intermediate. The X-ray structure analysis of 2 shows a nearly square-planar coordination of the metal and also a planar dithiocarbonate ligand. The reactions of (PPh3)2Pt(η2-COS) with PMe3 or PMe2Ph lead to the formation of the (dithiocarbonato-S,S′)platinum(II) complexes (PR3)2Pt(S2CO) (5, 6).

Die Komplexe Pd(PMePh2)4, Pd(PMe2Ph)4 und Pd(PiPr3)2 reagieren mit COS zu den (Dithiocarbonato-S,S′)palladium(II)-Verbindungen (PR3)2Pd(S2CO) (1-3). Der Trimethylphosphan-Komplex (PMe3)2Pd(S2CO) (4) ist ausgehend von 1-3 und PMe3 durch Ligandenaustausch erhältlich. Die Verbindung 4 entsteht ebenfalls aus [(PMe3)3PdH]BPh4 und COS über [(PMe3)2Pd(SOCHPMe3)]BPh4 als Zwischenstufe. Die Röntgenstrukturanalyse von 2 zeigt eine nahezu quadratisch-planare Koordination des Metalls mit einem ebenfalls planaren Dithiocarbonat-Liganden. Die Reaktionen von (PPh3)2Pt(η2-COS) mit PMe3 bzw. PMe2Ph führen zu den (Dithiocarbonato-S,S′)platin(II)-Komplexen (PR3)2Pt(S2CO) (5,6).
