Notes:
Tetrahydrothiopyran-3-on-1,1-dioxid (2) wird durch Alkylierung und Ringöffnung unter Bromierung zu α-Halosulfon-Zwischenstufen umgesetzt, die durch Ramberg-Backlund-Umlagerung stereoselektiv in γ,δ-ungesättigte Carbonsäuren 5 übergeführt werden.
