Condensed Isoquinolines, XV. Further Oxidations of Condensed Isoquinolines, Synthesis of o-Carboxyphenyl Substituted HeterocyclesThe oxidation of condensed isoquinolines to o-carboxyphenyl substituted heterocycles, already demonstrated with several examples, is extended to other systems some of which are new. On the example of ethyl 2-(5-trifluoromethyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)benzoate (16) a degradation to the corresponding anilino derivative is carried out.

Die bereits an mehreren Beispielen durchgeführte Oxidation kondensierter Isochinoline zur Bereitung von o-Carboxyphenyl-substituierten Heterocyclen wird auf weitere, z. T. neue Systeme ausgedehnt. Am Beispiel der 2-(5-Trifluormethyl-4H-1,2,4triazol-3-yl)benzoesäure (16) wird ein Säureabbau zum entsprechenden Anilino-Derivat 20 durchgeführt.
