Polycyanobenzenes, IV. Reactions of Hexacyanobenzene and Chloropentacyanobenzene with AminesHexacyanobenzene (1) reacts with ammonia or dimethylamine at 20°C to give the products of mono- and 1,3-disubstitution, resp., which are similarly obtained from chloropentacyanobenzene (3) For a sufficient reaction rate with aniline or 1,2-diaminobenzene a temperature of 80°C is required The structure of the disubstituted products is elucidated.

Hexacyanbenzol (1) setzt sich mit Ammnoniak oder Dimethylamin bei 20°C zu Mono- bzw, 1,3-Disubstitutionsprodukten um, die entsprechend auch mit Chlorpentacyanbenzol (3) erhalten werden Mit Anilin oder o-Phenylendiamin erfolgt erst bei 80°C eine Reaktion mit ausreichender Geschwindigkeit Die Strukturaufklärung der Disubstitutionsprodukte wird beschrieben.
