Es werden 2-[p-Aminosulfonyl-phenylhydrazino]-thiazole beschrieben, die durch Kondensation von 1-[p-Aminosulfonyl-phenyl]-thiosemicarbazid mit α-Halogen-carbonylverbindungen in äthanol. Lösung zugänglich sind. Führt man die gleichen Umsetzungen mit Chloraceton bzw. ω-Chlor-acetophenon in konz. Salzsäure durch, so entsteht das 3-[p-Aminosulfonyl-anilino]-4-methyl-thiazolon-(2)-imid bzw. das 2-Amino-4-[p-aminosulfonyl-phenyl]-5-phenyl-1.3.4-thiodiazin. Ersteres sowie das 3-[p-Aminosulfonyl-anilino]-4.5-dimethyl-thiazolon-(2)-imid lassen sich auch aus Rhodanaceton bzw. 3-Rhodan-butanon-(2) und p-Aminosulfonyl-phenylhydrazin-hydrochlorid darstellen. Dagegen erhält man aus ω-Rhodan-acetophenon und p-Aminosulfonyl-phenylhydrazin-hydrochlorid das Phenylglyoxal-bis-[p-aminosulfonyl-phenylhydrazon].
