    Notes: Das Osazon der aus Frauenmilch gewonnenen Lacto-N-biose I ist identisch mit dem Osazon der synthetisch erhaltenen 3-β-d-Galaktosido-d-fructose (3-β-d-Galaktosido-d-glucose). Daraus folgt, daβ die Lacto-N-biose I 3-β-d-Galaktosido-N-acetyl-d-glucosamin ist. In geringer Menge konnte aus Frauenmilch auch das isomere 4-β-d-Galaktosido-N-acetyl-d-glucosamin erhalten werden.
