Notes: Das Terpenketon Pinocarvon verwandelt sich allmählich spontan in ein durchsichtiger Harz und läβt sich thermisch oder katalytisch in ein festes Polymeres überführen. Die Poymerisation erfolgt als Kettenreaktion völlig analog der Molekülvervielfachung von Vinylerbindungen mit aktivierter Doppelbindung.
