Für die weitere Gestaltung des Neustädter Moores werden einige ökohydrologische Hinweise gegeben, so über die Notwendigkeit, überschüssiges Niederschlagswasser als Oberflächenabfluß schadlos abzuleiten, über optimale Grundwasserstände und -amplituden im wachsenden Hochmoor, über Planierungen im industriell abgetorften Leegmoor und über die Anlage von Moorpoldern.

Some ecohydrological hints habe been given for the further formation of the nature conservation peatland Neustädter Moor (Southern Wietingsmoor, district Diepholz, Lower Saxony), especially upon the nescessity, to lead off harmlessly the surplus rainwater as surface run-off, upon the groundwater level and annual groundwater amplitudes in a growing optimal raised bog, upon levelling of industrial peat cutting bog (Leegmoor), and upon the establishment of peatland polders.
