Cyclic and Linear Adducts from Carbonic Ester Isothiocyanates and Imines of Different TypeVarious imines reacted with the isothiocyanates 4 to give 1:1-adducts (1,3-thiazetidines 1 and 3, dihydro-2H-1,3-thiazines 5, respectively) or to 2:1-adducts (tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiadiazines 2), depending mainly on steric effects. In special cases linear adducts (thioureas 6 and vinylogous thioureas 7) were obtained, which in part formed 4-thiouracil 8. - Analytical data for the sequence are presented. - Anomalous NMR spectra of the N-xylyl- and -mesityl derivatives of 1 presumably result from hindered rotation. - Benzyl azide and the isothiocyanates 4 afforded derivatives of 1,2,4-dithiazole 10 with elimination of nitrogen.

Imine verschiedenen Typs gaben mit den Isothiocyanaten 4 entweder 1:1-Addukte (1,3-Thiazetidine 1 und 3 bzw. Dihydro-2H-1,3-thiazine 5) oder 2:1-Addukte (Tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiadiazine 2). Sterische Einflüsse waren hierbei deutlich. In Sonderfällen resultierten offenkettige Addukte (Thioharnstoffe 6 bzw. vinyloge Thioharnstoffe 7), die z. T. in 4-Thiouracil 8 umgewandelt wurden. - Für das vielen Verbindungen gemeinsame Strukturelement wurden analytische Merkmale zusammengestellt. - Bei Thiazetidinen 1 mit N-Xylyl-bzw.-Mesityl-Resten fielen Anomalien der NMR-Spektren auf, die vermutlich mit behinderter Rotation zu deuten sind. - Benzylazid reagierte mit den Isothiocyanaten 4 unter Stickstoff-Abspaltung zu Derivaten des 1,2,4-Dithiazols 10.
