Description: This database contains metal element concentrations from (1) river sediment cores and (2) bed and flood deposits acquired along the Rhône River by research teams (for 1: LEHNA-IPE) and monitoring programmes (for 2 : RMC Water Agency). This dataset focuses on six areas (geographical clusters: GC-1 to GC-6) located along the Rhône River corridor (ca. 512 km), after its confluence with the Arve River (near Geneva in Switzerland) to its delta near Arles (France). It presents the variations of metal concentrations for the following elements: Al, Fe, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn during the period 1965-2018. It also includes the geo-accumulation values (Igeo) and enrichment factors (EFs) for Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn. Extraction techniques (Aqua Regia or Total Extraction) and ancillary data such as total organic carbon content (TOC in % - pct), grainsize (fine fraction proportion: clay and silts 〈 63 µm), distance upstream of estuarine area (km UEA), sampling depth and date or expected age (for river sediment cores) are also reported.

Description: Sediment cores were taken using a mini-box corer (25 × 25 × 55 cm) during the 2007-2008 austral summer under the framework of the Antarctic Brazilian Program (PROANTAR). Four cores were sampled in two different areas: a) Deception Island, in the proximity of the Neptune submarine volcano (core DCP01) and Fumarole Bay (core DCP02), and b) Penguin Island, 500 m offshore from penguin colonies (core PGI01) and in the outer King George Bay, 500 m offshore of the southern giant petrel colonies (core PGI02). Major elements (Si, Al, Fe, Mg and Ca) and trace metals (Mn, V, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn and Pb) show differences in bulk chemical composition between the two areas. Trace metals (Cr, Cu and Ni) are found at lower levels in sediments from Deception Island (11 - 19 mg kg-1, 22 - 42 mg kg-1 and 0.9 - 3.3 mg kg-1) compared to Penguin Island (49 - 82 mg kg-1, 30 - 60 mg kg-1 and 20 - 35 mg kg-1), whereas Zn levels are comparable (42 - 65 mg kg-1 and 43 - 70 mg kg-1, respectively).

Description: Tows from year 2002 to 2013 of the EU NAFO groundfish survey, with biomass data of different invertebrates (Sponges, Sea Pens, Large Gorgonians and small Gorgonias) and presence of pennatulaceans. Gear used was a Bottom trawl. Since 2003, all surveys were conducted using the Spanish R/V Vizconde de Eza. Until 2005, the invertebrate data collection was non systematic (it was sporadic) and only few sponge data was collected. The "-" means that there is NO DATA AVAILABLE.. EU NAFO groundfish surveys (NAFO Div. 3MNLO) has been co-funded by the European Union through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund within the National Program. Description: The electrical sediment conductivity σs (and reciprocal resistivity Rs) was determined using an inductive GEOTEK non-contact resistivity (NCR) sensor. The system applies high-frequency magnetic fields by a transmitter coil inducing electrical eddy currents in the sediment which are proportional to conductivity. Their secondary field is recorded and yields raw and calibrated values for conductivity and resistivity. The resistivity sensor averages over approximately 12 cm core length. A platinum thermometer inserted into a segment continuously measures sediment temperature for temperature compensation. Absolute sensor calibrations using a series of saline standards are performed daily. For subsequent drift and segment end correction, 29.5 cm long insulating spacers were placed between segments during logging. Thus, the characteristic decay of the eddy currents nearby the end-caps was separately recorded for each segment and corrected on basis of a model curve. This method provides a continuous composite record, however the first 2-3 data points from each intersection were often discarded due to some under- or overshooting. Porosity was calculated according to the empirical Archie's equation Rs/Rw = k ∙ φ^(-m) where the ratio of sediment resistivity Rs and pore water resistivity Rw can be approximated by a power function of porosity φ. Following a recommendation by Boyce (1968), suitable for sea water saturated clay-rich sediments, values of 1.30 and 1.45 were used for the constants k and m, respectively. The calculated porosity φ is subsequently converted to wet bulk density ρwet using the equation (BOYCE, 1976) ρwet = φ ∙ ρf + (1 - φ) ∙ ρm with a pore water density ρf of 1030 kg/m³ and a matrix density ρm of 2670 kg/m³. For a uniform treatment of all cores, these empirical coefficients were not adapted to individual sediment lithologies. Yet, relative porosity and density changes should be well documented.

Description: Sedimentary specimens of the planktonic foraminifera Globorotalia inflata can provide much needed information on subsurface conditions of past oceans. However, interpretation of its geochemical signal is complicated by possible effects of cryptic diversity and encrustation. Here we address these issues using plankton tow and sediment samples from the western South Atlantic, where the two genotypes of G. inflata meet at the Brazil-Malvinas Confluence Zone. The δ18O and δ13C of encrusted specimens from both genotypes from a core within the confluence zone are indistinguishable. However, we do find a large influence of encrustation on δ18O and Mg/Ca. Whereas crust Mg/Ca ratios are at all locations lower than lamellar calcite, the crust effect on δ18O is less consistent in space. Plankton tows show that encrusted specimens occur at any depth and that even close to the surface crust Mg/Ca ratios are lower than in lamellar calcite. This is inconsistent with formation of the crust at lower temperature at greater depth. Instead we suggest that the difference between the crust and lamellar calcite Mg/Ca ratio is temperature-independent and due to the presence of high Mg/Ca bands only in the lamellar calcite. The variable crust effect on δ18O is more difficult to explain, but the higher incidence of crust free specimens in warmer waters and the observation that a crust effect is clearest in the confluence zone, hint at the possibility that the difference reflects advective mixing of specimens from warmer and colder areas, rather than vertical migration.

Description: The sediment series recovered during MERIAN Cruise MSM 39 by gravity coring were subject to routine magnetic susceptibility loggin, which was usually performed on the closed full cores. The magnetic volume susceptibility κ of marine sediment is primarily determined by its ferrimagnetic mineral content; paramagnetic matrix components such as clays are of minor importance. As a dimensionless quantity, κ may vary from an absolute minimum value of -15∙10-6 for diamagnetic minerals (such as pure carbonate or silicate) to a maximum of some 10⋅10-3 for sediments rich in ferrimagnetic (titano-)magnetite (of as magmatic sources). Enhanced susceptibilities indicate higher concentrations of lithogenic components (here mainly magmatic-sourced, ice-rafted materials) versus diamagnetic matrix materials (calcite, quartz, water etc.). This relation is very useful for correlating sedimentary sequences deposited under similar global or regional conditions. The GEOTEK core logger is mounted with a commercial BARTINGTON M.S.2 susceptibility meter with a 140 mm loop sensor. Due to the sensor's size, its sensitivity extends over a core interval of about 8 cm (half-width). Consequently, sharp susceptibility changes will appear smoothed in the κ core log and thin layers such as fine ice rafted debris layers cannot be appropriately resolved. In order to make an accurate end correction at the base of each segment and to assess the drift of the susceptibility meter, a spacer cylinder of 29.5 cm length was placed between each core segment during the measurement procedure. The measurements taken at the center of the spacer was used to assess and compensate the instrumental temperature drift. During post-processing all data related to void sections were removed to provide a continuous composite core log. The top and bottom ends were mirror-corrected. The systematic decline of the susceptibility signal between segment boundaries was recovered by summing the overlapping tail data leading to loss-free data sets.

Description: This dataset contains water velocity profile measurements collected in the Slétta transect north of Iceland, during 9 cruises ranging from 2009 to 2018: RV Bjarni Saemundsson B10/2009, B1/2011, B2/2012, B1/2013, B7/2015, and B11/2017; RV Håkon Mosby HM201618, RV Kristine Bonnevie KB2018614 and Knorr KN203-2 (2011). Velocities were measured using an upward- and downward-facing lowered acoustic Doppler current profiler (LADCP) system mounted on the rosette. The LADCP data were processed using the LADCP Processing Software Package from the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (Thurnherr 2010, 2018). Following the processing, the barotropic tides were removed from the velocity data set by applying an updated version of the regional tidal model of Egbert and Erofeeva (2002), which has a resolution of 1/60°.

Description: Spectral light reflectance is a measure of the relative amount of light reflected by a material under incident white light. It is expressed within an absolute range from 0 (minimum) to 255 (maximum) and specified as average value for the red (600-700 nm), green (500-600 nm) and blue (400-500 nm) color band (RGB system). The reflectance properties of sediments relate to their chemistry and structure and are dominated by pigmented trace constituents, typically brownish or greenish Fe-bearing minerals (clays, oxides, sulfides), grayish silicates and darker organics. Reflectance logs provide high-resolution records of terrigenous content (total reflectance) and redox state (red/blue ratio). Scanned at high spatial resolution, reflectance images provide sharp, undistorted, true-color core photographs scarcely affected by undesirable artefacts known from classical core photography (shadows, reflections etc.). The digital imaging module of the GEOTEK MSCL consists of a camera containing three separate 3*1024 pixel CCD detectors mounted in the focal planes of split light beams ~40 cm above the surface of the sediment and equipped with red, green and blue dichroic filters. This camera captures consecutive, strictly orthogonal line images of the bypassing split core surface. The sediment is illuminated from above by two white fluorescent tubes. Freshly cut archive halves were carefully leveled to prevent shadows from residual surface roughness. All cores were scanned at an axial resolution setting of 100, corresponding to 1 row of pixels for every 100 μm in core depth. The resolution achieved across the core is nearly equivalent. The brightest part of each core was selected to determine the lens aperture value which allows the entire core to be measured on the same setting without saturating any of the color channels. Each reflectance value is calibrated against the range defined by a white tile (white calibration) and a closed lens cap (black calibration). A color test card was measured before and after each core to determine and linearly correct drift effects of the CCD sensors. A specialized post-processing software was used on board to perform all necessary image corrections and calculations. The processing starts by cropping end-cap and cavity sections and by removing spurious color stripes caused by a non-uniform response of individual color channels. This task is efficiently solved by normalizing the means within each down-core column of data to the same mean-core value. The segment images are then merged into a full core image and numerically compressed in various ways. The median value of each data row was chosen as representative reflectance value in the depth series of red, green and blue reflectance, total reflectance (mean value of R, G and B) and for the red/blue ratio.

Description: Between 22 and 17 cal ka BP, five large meltwater events from within the Laurentian Channel Ice Stream deposited mud beds meters thick across a large area of the Laurentian Fan and adjacent continental slopes. This study determines the sources of these event beds and relates them to the glaciological evolution of the retreating Laurentian Ice Stream. We analyzed major element and magnetic mineral contents of these event beds and compare them with a new collection of 80 source reference samples from the Gulf of St. Lawrence area. Element ratios suggest a steady compositional change from older to younger outburst event beds, while element-specific offsets from reference sample compositions indicate grain-size and mineral/element partitioning during suspension transport. Their magnetic properties place event beds on the source mixing trend of four reference samples groups, which represent two magnetite-rich sources (Canadian Shield and/or Southern Newfoundland) and two hematite-rich sources (Appalachian red beds). Using a deterministic linear source mixing model based on IRM100mT, HIRM and Ca%, we find that the earlier two outburst events had higher contributions from granitic and calcareous sources than the later three events. Combining materials, timing and scenarios of the outburst events with ice-sheet retreat and ice-stream dynamics, we argue that the subglacial sediment depocenter of the earlier two event beds was located in the lower Laurentian Channel while that of the later three events was upstream from Cabot Strait.

Description: Polar lipid-derived fatty acids (PLFAs) and their stable carbon isotopes are frequently combined to characterize microbial populations involved in the degradation of organic matter, offering a link to biogeochemical processes and carbon sources used. However, PLFA patterns derive from multiple species and may be influenced by substrate types. Here, we investigated such dependencies by monitoring the transformation of position-specifically 13C-labeled amino acids (AAs) in coastal marine sediments dominated by heterotrophic bacteria. Alanine was assimilated into straight-chain FAs, while valine and leucine incorporation led to the characteristic production of even- and odd-numbered iso-series FAs. This suggests that identical microbial communities adjust lipid biosynthesis according to substrate availability. Transformation into precursor molecules for FA biosynthesis was manifested in increased 13C recoveries of the corresponding volatiles acetate, isobutyrate and isovalerate of up to 39.1%, much higher than for PLFAs (〈0.9%). A significant fraction of 13C was found in dissolved inorganic carbon (up to 37.9%), while less was recovered in total organic carbon (up to 17.3%). We observed a clear discrimination against the carboxyl C, whereby C2 and C3 positions were preferentially incorporated into PLFAs. Therefore, position-specific labeling is an appropriate tool for reconstructing the metabolic fate of protein-derived AAs in marine environments.

Description: Sediment oxygenation was assessed in situ in rhizospheres of the intertidal salt marsh grass, Spartina anglica. Oxygen content of the rhizosphere was investigated in two populations of S. anglica with differing plant morphology growing in different sediment types. The oxygen content was assessed in situ using a novel multifiber optode system with 100 simultaneously operated oxygen probes. No oxygen was detected inside the rhizosphere at any depths indicating a limited impact of plant-mediated sediment oxygenation on the bulk anoxic sediment. Additional Planer optode investigations revealed that plant-mediated sediment oxygenation do occur, but it is restricted to small areas around the root-tips.

Description: Anthropogenic inputs of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are driving ocean warming and acidification. The potential threat represented by these changes for marine species could be amplified in coastal areas, characterized by higher levels of pollutants. In addition, temperate organisms may exhibit a different seasonal tolerance to stressors influenced by fluctuations of environmental and physiological factors. In this study, Mediterranean mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis collected both in summer and winter were exposed to combinations of two temperatures (SST, seasonal surface temperature and SST+5 °C) and two levels of pH (8.20 and 7.40) in clean or cadmium contaminated seawater (20 μg/L Cd). mRNA levels of genes related to metal-induced stress response were investigated, including metallothionein mt-20, heat-shock protein hsp70, superoxide dismutase Cu/Zn-sod, catalase cat, glutathione peroxidase gpx1 and glutathione S-transferase gst-pi. To further elucidate if tissues with different physiological roles could exhibit different responsiveness, such analyses were carried out in digestive gland and in gills of exposed mussels. mt-20 mRNA increase after Cd-exposure was higher in the digestive gland than in the gills, with few modulations by temperature or pH only in the latter. Acidification, alone or in combination with other stressors, increased hsp70 mRNA, with seasonal- and tissue-specificities (higher in summer and in digestive gland). Among antioxidants, gpx1 mRNA was affected by Cd in both tissues and seasons, with further modulations due to pH and temperature variation tissue- and season-specific; in winter the combination of Cd, warming and acidification affected Cu/Zn-sod both in digestive gland and gills and cat only in gills, while weak seasonal variations were observed for gst-pi transcripts only in digestive gland. The overall results highlighted the importance of considering seasonality and responsiveness of different tissues to predict the effects of sudden changes in environmental parameters on responsiveness to and toxicity of chemicals in marine coastal organisms.

Description: Lago Rogaguado is a large (315 km²) shallow lake in the Llanos de Moxos, Bolivian Amazon. Two Holocene-age lake sediment cores (1.25 and 1.5 m long) were collected using a UWITEC gravity surface corer and Livingstone piston corer in 2012 and 2013. The location of core LR-400 is 2 km from the western shoreline at 2.5 m water depth, whereas core LR-398 is in the center of the lake approximately 4 km from the nearest shoreline at 2.9 m water depth. Both cores were dated using ¹⁴C, and produced a multi-proxy dataset (XRF, bulk density, grain size, C:N, biogenic silica, water content, and macroscopic charcoal) that we used to uncover palaeoenvironmental changes in the context of vegetation changes (deduced from pollen analyses of core LR-400; Brügger et al., 2016). The objective of the dataset was to reconstruct long-term paleoenvironmental conditions around the lake, including lake levels, erosion and sedimentation rates, and local biomass burning for the Holocene.

Description: The Macapule Lagoon (25º 21' and 25º 24' N; 108º 30' and 108º 45' W) is part of the San Ignacio-Navachiste-Macapule lagoon system, located in the southern region of the Gulf of California (Fig. 1). In 2000, it has been declared an "Area of Reserve and Refuge for Migratory Birds and Wildlife – Gulf of California Islands". This lagoon is very productive due to its location in the Gulf of California (Lluch-Cota et al. 2007). Water temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and salinity were measured in situ with an YSI (55-12FT) probe and a portable refractometer (RHS-10ATC). Nutrient (nitrate, ammonium, and phosphate) concentrations were determined in the laboratory during each sampling month using a photometer (YSI, 9500).

Description: Diel sampling was conducted in a small pool in Bakers Creek (Macleay River), immediately upstream from the confluence with the main Macleay River trunk channel during October 2016. At the time of sampling, the pool was shallow (〈0.7 m) and contained low-turbidity surface water overlying sandy-textured benthic sediments with abundant filamentous green algae (Spirogyra sp.) and a uniformly low flow (~0.01 m³/s). Water temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH and redox potential were measured in situ at 5 minute intervals using a freshly calibrated EXO-2 multi-parameter sonde (YSI instruments). At each sampling interval (every 1.5-2 hrs), a 60 mL water sample was collected via a clean enclosed syringe and pre-cleaned PTFE tubing connected to a sampling port situated 0.1 m below the water surface and filtered immediately on-site (0.45 µm; enclosed syringe filter). Both syringe and tubing were pre-flushed (5x) prior to sample collection. Filtered aliquots were added to a 1,10-phenanthroline solution for subsequent photometric determination of Fe2+. Additional filtered sub-samples were collected and preserved for subsequent analysis of As3+ [via high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC; Perkin-Elmer Flexar) coupled with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS; Perkin Elmer Nexion 350D), using a C18 (5 µm) column and mobile phase of 1 mM tetra-butyl ammonium hydroxide, 0.5 mM EDTA and 5% ethanol in de-ionized water (flow rate 1 mL min-1; 20 µL injection)] and Mn, Fe and Sb via ICP-MS.

Description: Despite the development of several cultivation methods, the rate of discovery of microorganisms that are yet-to-be cultivated outpaces the rate of isolating and cultivating novel species in the laboratory. Furthermore, no current cultivation technique is capable of selectively isolating and cultivating specific bacterial taxa or phylogenetic groups independently of morphological or physiological properties. Here, we developed a new method to isolate living bacteria solely based on their 16S rRNA gene sequence. We showed that bacteria can survive a modified version of the standard fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) procedure, in which fixation is omitted and other factors, such as centrifugation and buffers, are optimized. We also demonstrated that labeled DNA probes can be introduced into living bacterial cells using chemical transformation and that specific hybridization occurs. This new method, which we call live-FISH, was then combined with fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) to sort specific taxonomic groups of bacteria from mock and natural bacterial communities and subsequently culture them. Live-FISH represents the first attempt to systematically optimize conditions known to affect cell viability during FISH and then to sort bacterial cells surviving the procedure. No sophisticated probe design is required, making live-FISH a straightforward method to be potentially used in combination with other single-cell techniques and for the isolation and cultivation of new microorganisms.

Description: During the RV POLARSTERN cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula and Powell Basin during Feb - April 2019 the Ocean Floor Observation and Bathymetry System (OFOBS) was used to collect still and video images, as well as sidescan data, from various locations surveyed during the research cruise. The OFOBS system consisted of a towed underwater camera system equipped with both a high-resolution photo-camera (iSiTEC, CANON EOS 5D Mark III) and a high-definition video-camera (iSiTEC, Sony FCB-H11) as well as an integrated sidescan sonar system. The cameras were mounted on a steel frame (140L x 92W x 135H cm), together with two strobe lights (iSiTEC UW-Blitz 250, TTL driven), three laser pointers spaced with a distance of 50 cm used to estimate the size of seafloor structures, four LED lights, and a USBL positioning system (Posidonia) to track the position of the OFOBS during deployments, with additional positioning information provided by the integrated INS and DVL systems. In automatic mode, a seabed photo, depicting an area of approximately 4 m**2, with variations depending on the actual height above ground, was taken every ~15 seconds to obtain series of "TIMER" stills distributed at regular distances along each of the survey profiles. Profile lengths varied in length depending on duration of the cast, usually determined by the current ice and sea state conditions at time of survey. At a ship speed of 0.5 kn, the average distance between seabed images was approximately 5 m. Ship speed was however greatly influenced by ice conditions. Additional "HOTKEY" photos were taken from interesting objects (organisms, seabed features, etc) when they appeared in the live video feed.

Description: An eddy-covariance system was installed in a young Maritime Pine plantation in Central Portugal immediately after a wildfire that occurred on 13 August 2017, and has been monitoring CO2 fluxes from the 43th post-fire day onwards. The data set comprises the daily sums of the 30-min NEE, Reco and GPP fluxes, with 90 % of the NEE fluxes having been computed directly from the measurements and the Reco and GPP fluxes have been estimated based on the Lloyd-Taylor and Michaelis-Menten functions.

Description: Assessing global freshwater resources and human water demand is of value for a number of needs but challenging. The global water use and water availability model WaterGAP is in development since 1996 and serves a range of applications and topics as such as Life Cycle Assessments, a better understanding of terrestrial water storage variations (e.g., jointly with satellite observations), water (over)use and consequently depletion of water resources, as well as model evaluation and model development. In the paper connected to this dataset, the newest model version, WaterGAP 2.2d is described by providing the water balance equations, insights to input data used and typical model applications. The most important and requested model outputs (total water storage variations, streamflow and water use) are evaluated against observation data. Standard model output is described and the reader is guided to the location where those data can be downloaded. Caveats of specific output data and an overview of model applications as well as an outlook of future model development lines are presented as well.

Description: Species turnover in the different communities was calculated as the change in Bray-Curtis dissimilarity for samples of the same treatment over time. The Bray-Curtis dissimilarity matrix was calculated using biomass data. We calculated turnover values after 12 days (dissimilarity between samples of the same treatment from day 5 and 12) and 21 days (dissimilarity between samples of the same treatment from day 5 and 21).

Description: In a culture experiment with microalgae metacommunities, we tested the effects of a regional heatwave disturbance on species diversity (richness, Shannon diversity) and turnover. The metacommunities consisted of three local communities with different initial community compositions. In our full factorial design, half of the metacommunities were subject to dispersal (every other day) and exposed to an experimental heatwave. Communities were sampled after 5, 12, and 21 days.

Description: Piston core HH15-1252PC was collected in Vestnesa Ridge in the Western Svalbard margin. The core was logged with a GEOTEK Multi Sensor Core Logger and color imaged with a Jai L-107CC 3 CCD RGB line scan camera installed on an Avaatech XRF. One cm thick slices at 1 to 5 cm intervals. Samples were weighed, freeze-dried, and weighed again. They were subsequently wet-sieved over mesh-sizes 63 μm, 100 μm and 500 μm. The residues were dried at 40°C and weighed and weight percent of each grain size was calculated. Oxygen and carbon isotopes were measured on up to 20 pristine benthic (Cassidulina neoteretis and/or Melonis barleeanus; 150 to 250 μm size fraction) and planktic foraminifera (Neogloboquadrina pachyderma 100 to 500 μm size fraction). For trace element analyses, 10 to 30 pristine C. neoteretis (150 to 250 μm size fraction) or M. baleeanus (150 to 350 μm size fraction) were picked, crashed between two glass slides and cleaned following the oxidative-reductive approach (Boyle and Keigwin, 1985/1986; Pena et al., 2005). Mg/Ca ratios were then converted to bottom water temperature using calibrations from Kristjánsdóttir et al. (2007). Up to 300 benthic foraminifera were counted on each sample in the 100 to 1000 μm size fraction and relative abundance of the species was calculated in samples with at least 50 specimens. Ice rafted debris was counted in the 150 to 500 μm and 〉500 μm size fractions and the concentration was calculated. The grain-size ratio was calculated using the equation from Jessen and Rasmussen (2019). Options

Description: We calculate the amount of energy (kcal), macro- and micro-nutrients that were yearly produced from 1988 to 2017 in all of the 5563 Brazilian municipalities and disaggregated them according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations's (FAO) information on whether the agricultural commodities were delivered to the food system as food, feed, seed, exported, processed, lost or used in other forms. We used nutritional information from 62 crops and 5 livestock categories to generate this dataset. Following De Ruiter, H., Macdiarmid, J. I., Matthews, R. B., & Smith, P. (2018 - doi:10.1016/j.gloenvcha.2018.06.007), we calculated the total production for 20 nutrients as well as their fractions delivered to the food system, described in the "read me" table. We organized the dataset in 20 TAB-delimited TEXT-files (.tab) of 22.3 Mb each.
