    Description: Geçmişte yaşanan iklim değişikliklerinin nedenlerinin ve etkilerinin anlaşılması, insanoğlunun gelecekte karşılaşacağı çevresel değişiklikleri önceden tahmin etmesi ve önlemler alması açısından önem arz etmektedir. İnsanın yeryüzündeki varlık süresince, yani Kuvaterner’de yaşanan iklim değişiklikleri, buzul ve buzularası çağlarının yaşanmasına yol açarak, yer küreyi ve üzerinde yaşayan canlıların hayatını şekillendirmiştir. Ülkemiz de Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının etkisinde kalmış ve Anadolu’nun farklı bölgelerindeki yüksek alanlarda gelişen buzulların bazıları günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. İklim değişikliği etkisiyle ortadan kalkan buzulların oluşturduğu yer şekilleri ise çoğu sahada korunmuştur. Anadolu’daki buzullaşmalar ve bunlara ait yer şekilleri araştırmacılar tarafından sıklıkla çalışılmış olmakla birlikte morfometrik analizler sınırlı sayıda araştırmada uygulanabilmiştir. Buzul morfometrisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar son buzul çağının etkilerini daha net anlaşılmamıza imkân tanımaktadır. Bu araştırma kitabı ile Batı Torosların doğu ucunda yer alan ve daha önce literatürde geçmeyen Kuvaterner buzullaşmalarının izlerinin yaygın bir şekilde gördüğümüz Kuşak Dağı’nın jeomorfolojik özelliklerini arazi çalışmaları ve İHA verileri kullanarak haritalamak, ayrıca morfometrik analizlerle Kuşak Dağı ve Batı Toroslar hakkında paleoiklimsel değerlendirmelerde bulunmak hedeflenmiştir. Yine bu kitapta buzul jeomorfolojisi konusunda yeni yöntem ve yaklaşımlar ayrıntılı açıklanmaya çalışılarak bu konularda çalışacak genç araştırmacılar için Türkçe kaynak kitabı olması amaçlanmıştır.

    Description: An increasing number of preschool teachers have a master's degree, and in Norway, employing preschool teachers with a master’s-level education is a stated political objective. In both Norway and Denmark, there is growing demand for greater expertise in preschool and more career options for preschool teachers and educators. Thus, there is also a need for greater understanding about the impact of academic knowledge on preschool pedagogical practice. In this anthology, new empirical knowledge is presented on how master's-level competence is applied practically within the preschool context, and how academic knowledge is found relevant in practice. The empirical material that forms the basis of this anthology is qualitative interviews with master's-educated teachers in Norwegian and Danish preschools as well as a survey sent to all preschools in Norway. The anthology is also based on historical material and documents that highlight the rise of specialized education in general and master's education in particular. The book stems from the research project “Preschool master in practice”, a collaborative project between researchers at one Danish and two Norwegian educational institutions: VIA University College in Århus, Oslo Metropolitan University, and the University of South-Eastern Norway. The aim of the project has been to increase understanding of how master’s-educated preschool teachers’ feel their particular expertise is put to use, and how their expertise benefits the preschool and creates opportunities within the sector.
    Description: Stadig flere barnehagelærere har masterutdanning. I Norge er det også en uttalt politisk ambisjon om at det skal ansettes flere masterutdannede barnehagelærere i barnehagen. Både i Norge og Danmark ser vi en økende etterspørsel etter mer kompetanse i barnehagen og flere karriereveier for barnehagelærere og pedagoger. Dermed blir det også behov for mer kunnskap om hva som skjer i møtet mellom akademisk kunnskap og barnehagefaglig pedagogisk praksis. I denne antologien presenteres ny empirisk kunnskap om hvordan kompetanse på masternivå anvendes i barnehagen, og hvordan akademisk kunnskap gis relevans for barnehagens praksis. Det empiriske materialet som ligger til grunn for antologien, er kvalitative intervjuer med masterutdannede barnehagelærere i norske og danske barnehager og en spørreundersøkelse sendt ut til alle norske barnehager. Antologien er også basert på historisk materiale og dokumenter som synliggjør framveksten av videreutdanninger generelt og masterutdanning spesielt. Bokutgivelsen springer ut av forskningsprosjektet «Barnehagefaglig master i praksis», som er et samarbeidsprosjekt mellom forskere ved én dansk og to norske utdanningsinstitusjoner, henholdsvis VIA University College i Århus, OsloMet – storbyuniversitetet og Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge. Målet med prosjektet har vært å utvide kunnskapen om hvordan barnehagelærere med barnehagefaglig masterutdanning erfarer at deres kompetanse blir anvendt, og om hvordan kompetansen kommer barnehagen til gode og gis muligheter i sektoren.

    Description: How the Steel Was Tempered in East Asia. Nikolai Ostrovsky’s novel How Steel Was Tempered (1932-34) tells the story of a young Ukrainian man named Pavel Korchagin who sacrifices his life and body to forge a steel-like spirit amid revolution, civil war, and postwar socialist construction. Although his physical injuries, which left him paralyzed and even blind, looks somehow grotesque, but his heroic self-sacrifice also had the power to inspire young readers. Regarded as an exemplary work of Soviet socialist realism, it was translated into many languages and read avidly at one time by left-wing readers in the West as well as in the Communist countries in the East. It was particularly influential in China, where it is so popular that even today it is invariably named as one of the favorite books of university students. This is in contrast to post-Soviet Russia today, in which the novel has lost the privileged position it once enjoyed and is no longer widely read. In China under the socialist regime, Ostrovsky’s novel was published in large numbers as suitable reading for young people and incorporated into school education. However, their active introduction in the public sphere alone does not explain their popularity. Chinese readers seem to have become deeply emotionally involved in the protagonist’s unsuccessful love affair with Tonya, a young girl whose bourgeois gestures and characterization must have been considered negative. As a result, the Soviet ideological novel has brought an unexpected meaning of European-style romantic love for Chinese readers. This presentation will trace the reception of Ostrovsky’s novel and the changes in the heroine Tonya’s image by comparing five adaptations: two Soviet films in 1942 and 1957, a Chinese lianhuanhua (serial picture book) in 1972, a Japanese manga in 1975, and a Chinese TV drama in 1999.

    Description: Kvotesystemet er det sentrale fiskeripolitiske virkemidlet for utnytting og fordeling av våre viltlevende marine fiskeressurser. Systemet består av flere deler eller reguleringssystemer som til sammen danner en rettslig ramme for tilgangen til å høste av og tjene på fellesskapets ressurser. Ved endringene av havressurslova og deltakerloven i 2021 har vi fått et nytt kvotesystem. I denne boken nøyer forfatteren seg ikke med å fremstille gjeldende fiskerilover og forskrifter i det nye kvotesystemet, men har en bredere tilnærming til temaet. Analysen gir blant annet leseren kunnskap om rettsfeltet slik dette er vokst frem over tid; status for endringer i virkemiddelbruken på rettsfeltet, særlig i kjølvannet av Stortingets behandling av kvotemeldingen, Meld. St. 32 (2018–2019), i 2020 og endring av kvotesystemet i 2021 ved lov 5. mars 2021 nr. 7; legitimitetsutfordringen på rettsfeltet med utgangspunkt i et rettferdighetskonsept; delegasjon av lovgivningsmyndighet; og rekkevidden av diskrimineringsforbud i norsk rett ved lukkinger av kystfiskeri.

Üçüncü ve Dördüncü bölümler, bu kitabın temel çalışma konusu olan Young fonksiyonları ve Orlicz fonksiyon uzaylarına ayrılmıştır. Beşinci bölüm kitabın ana hedefini oluşturmaktadır. Burada İstanbul Üniversitesi, Matematik Bölümünde bu kitabın yazarları tarafından Orlicz uzayları üzerine yapılan bilimsel çalışmalardan ve uygulamalardan kesitler sunulmuştur.     Description: Tid for lesing! handler om leseferdighetene til elever i tiårsalderen slik de er målt i den internasjonale undersøkelsen PIRLS i 2021. PIRLS 2021 ble gjennomført under covid-19-pandemien. Undersøkelsen inkluderer både en leseprøve og spørreskjemaer til elever, foresatte, norsklærere og rektorer. Som leseprøve måler PIRLS resultatet av flere års leseopplæring, ikke bare den opplæringa som har funnet sted i femte klasse. Når elevene er blitt ti år gamle, skal den grunnleggende leseferdigheten være nok utviklet til at de skal kunne lese og forstå tekster i mange ulike fag og sammenhenger. Samtidig er elevene fortsatt så unge at leseferdigheten kan forbedres i de tilfellene der ferdigheten er lav. Denne antologien utdyper resultatene fra kortrapporten (mai 2023) gjennom analyser av flere faktorer som kan ha betydning for barns leseutvikling. Kapitlene spenner over en rekke temaer, som betydningen av hjemmemiljø, skole og lærere for elevenes leseprestasjoner, elevenes lesevaner, elever med svake leseprestasjoner, hvordan elevene liker og presterer på tekstene i PIRLS, samt forskjeller mellom elever som tok PIRLS-prøven på papir og digitalt. Vi undersøker også mulige drivkrefter bak nedgangen i norske tiåringers leseforståelse.

    Description: The word orphan, derived from the root “yütm” meaning “to be alone, to be left alone”, expresses the uniqueness of the object. Being an orphan can be understood as a child being unprotected in terms of meeting his/her basic needs and observing his/her rights. Although the duty of protection and support is traditionally attributed to the father, it would be more appropriate to understand the concept of an orphan as a child who has lost material and spiritual support that would protect him from dangers even if his parents are alive. The fact that the term orphan is used in daily language in our civilization to evoke this situation also confirms the meaning. Our Holy Qur’an emphasizes the importance of protecting the rights of certain social groups to strengthen justice and solidarity in society. In the process of building a just and peaceful world, the poor, stranded travelers, close relatives, neighbors, and the needy can be immediately listed among these groups whose rights should be respected first and foremost. Among these groups, orphans are another group that is particularly emphasized. Orphanhood is not only associated with not being wealthy. Since orphanhood is used for children who are not capable of protecting and defending their rights, it is also a concept directly related to children’s rights. Therefore, treating the phenomenon of orphanhood within child rights will significantly contribute to understanding rights and freedom. A system of thought based on the protection of all children in this situation and the institutionalization of social solidarity in light of this can initiate a process that will bring about a perspective and institutionalization that can be extended to all rights. For all these reasons, it is of great importance that the Symposium on Orphans and Abandoned Children, which deals with the phenomenon of orphanhood from a scientific point of view and brings together academics, experts, and practitioners from different disciplines related to the subject, was organized on the World Children’s Day and that the academic papers here have been published as a book.

Yüce kitabımız Kur’an-ı Kerim toplumda adaletin ve dayanışmanın güçlenmesi için bazı sosyal grupların haklarının gözetilmesinin önemine vurgu yapmaktadır. Adil ve barış içinde bir dünyanın inşa sürecinde hakları en başta gözetilmesi gereken bu gruplar içinde, yoksullar, yolda kalmışlar, yakın akrabalar, komşular, muhtaçlar hemen sıralanabilir. İşte bu gruplar arasında özellikle vurgulanan bir diğer grup yetimlerdir. Yetimlik sadece varsıl olmamakla ilişkilendirilemez. Yetimlik, haklarını koruyabilecek ve savunabilecek yeterlikte olmayan çocuklar için kullanıldığından doğrudan çocuk hakları ile ilgili bir kavram olarak da karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Dolayısıyla yetimlik olgusunu çocuk hakları içinde değerlendirmek, hak ve özgürlükler anlayışına da önemli katkılar yapabilecek bir yaklaşımı beraberinde getirecektir. Böyle durumda olan tüm çocukları korumayı esas alan bir düşünce sistemi ve bunun ışığında sosyal dayanışmanın kurumsal hale getirilmesi, tüm haklara teşmil edilebilecek bir bakış açısını ve kurumsallaşmayı beraberinde getirecek süreci başlatabilir. Tüm bu nedenlerle yetimlik olgusunu bilimsel bir bakış ile ele alan, konu ile ilgili farklı disiplinlerden akademisyenleri, uzmanları ve uygulayıcıları bir araya getiren Yetim ve Kimsesiz Çocuklar Sempozyumu’nun Dünya Çocuk Hakları Gününde düzenlenmiş olması ve buradaki tebliğlerin kitaplaşmış olması çok büyük önem arz etmektedir.

    Description: Vladivostok is likened to the Bosphorus. The remoteness of the Far East made it difficult for the European part of the Russian Empire to recognise Vladivostok geographically. Therefore, through analogy to the Mediterranean, it was consciously integrated into the state. On the other hand, by using kanji combinations, which evoke images of traditional Japanese poetry, the Japanese created a sense of familiarity with Vladivostok. In most cases, regarding the social situation during the Revolutionary and Intervention War periods, researchers’ interest was restricted to the scheme of the conflict between the Red Army and the White Army and the victory or defeat of the October Revolution. However, more than 30 years after the dissolution of the USSR, the events of this period are now being examined by scholars mainly from the perspective of the residents and outsiders in various regions who, without knowing the consequences of the revolution, were both anticipating and anxious about significant social changes. The multicultural nature of the Far East is being discussed on the occasion of the centenary of the Siberian exodus. This article examines the cultural situation in and around Vladivostok, focusing on developments such as the education system and modernist currents in the arts. Vladivostok served as both an entrance to Siberia for the Japanese or other foreign troops and an exit for emigres.

    Description: Reception of Russian Literature of the Silver Age in China. In the late 20th century, there emerged a significant cultural fervor for the Russian literature of the Silver Age within Chinese academic circles, primarily focused on literary studies. This article examines the history of translating Russian literature of the Silver Age in China and its level of research development. It is revealed that, on one hand, the initial attempts at translating literary works of the Silver Age into Chinese began in the first half of the 20th century, with notable activity during the May Fourth Movement and towards the end of the 20th century. Consequently, works by well-known writers had more opportunities to be translated into Chinese and gain attention from the academic community, while many works by lesser-known authors remained overlooked. On the other hand, Chinese scholars’ research on Russian literature of the Silver Age encompasses various literary genres such as poetry, novels, and dramas, with a focus on individual writers and their works. However, comprehensive and systematic studies in this field are still lacking. The examination of the history of translation and the level of research on Russian literature of the Silver Age in China contributes to academic progress, facilitates exchange and collaboration among scholars, provides reference materials and recommendations, and establishes a foundation for further in-depth research.

We have seen how valuable the vaccines we use to get rid of the epidemic are, how developed countries have entered vaccine wars, and the change in the dynamics of the epidemic with vaccination. The years 2020-2022 will be defined as the epidemic years. During this epidemic, we saw that it was precious for physicians to get the correct information. This source has been tried to be created thanks to the fact that it has written down the experiences gained by experiencing this epidemic in person. Üstelik bu öyle bir salgın ki sadece bir ülkede değil, bütün dünya ülkelerinde aynı zamanda ve benzer yoğunlukta etkilendi. Adeta ülkelerin sağlık sistemleri aynı sorulardan oluşan bir sınavla sınandı. Salgın sırasında birçok bilinmeyen denklem iç içe idi. Salgın başında o kadar çok bilinmeyenimiz vardı ki. Hastalara nasıl yaklaştığımızı, nasıl tedavi vereceğimizi ve hangi ilaçların verilmesi gerektiğini henüz net bir şekilde bilmiyorduk. Geçen iki yıl zarfında birçok araştırma ve birçok deneyim bizim hastalığa karşı nasıl davranmamız gerektiğini öğretti. Salgın sırasında bilgi kirliliğinin ne kadar zarar verebilir olduğunu yaşayarak öğrendik. Salgın bize birde aşı savaşlarını gösterdi. Salgından kurtulmak için kullandığımız aşıların ne kadar değerli olduğunu, gelişmiş ülkelerin nasıl aşı savaşlarına girdiğini aşılama ile beraber salgın dinamiklerindeki değişimi gördük. 2020-2022 yılları salgın yılları olarak tanımlanacaktır. Bu salgın sırasında hekimlerin doğru bilgilerin ulaşmasının çok değerli olduğunu gördük. Elinizdeki bu kaynak salgını bizzat yaşayarak elde edilen tecrübelerini yazıya dökmesi sayesinde oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır.     Description: Turkic World studies seem to be a topic that attracts scientific attention day by day. The continuous increase in cooperation, rapprochement, and mobility between Turkish-speaking countries and communities since 1991 might be shown as the main dynamic behind this interest. The richness of the Turkic Republics in terms of natural resources, their location on the energy and transportation corridors, the change of the balances in the Caucasus with the Second Karabakh War in 2020, and the transition of the Turkic Council from a cooperation organization to an interstate organization in 2021 under the name of the "Organization of Turkic States" also accelerate the work of the Turkic World. In the meantime, the popularization of some geopolitical determinations and predictions in the context of scientific interest in the region can be shown as an important factor. Similar to the rise of Europe in the industrial age, we can talk about the rise of Asia in the information age. The sources of political and economic power are shifting to Asian geopolitics and this process continues to strengthen. Such analyses and predictions, which bring to the agenda that in the 2050s, Asia will regain its former central position also encourage academic interest in Central Asia. This book is the product of the goal of creating an original work for the Turkish World with gap-filling parameters and process analyses determined by a meticulous preliminary study in the light of the mentioned background. In this direction, three basic perspectives such as the effort to determine the capacities of the countries with comparative analyses, to look at the Turkish World from the perspective of problems, and to embody the Turkish World based on the community, autonomous region, and country sections dominate the work. With comparative analyses, it has been tried to embody the capacities of the countries within the parameters such as sustainable development potential, transportation systems, scientific performance, evolution in the political system, education system, and values of education. On the other hand, the crises affecting the Turkic World were discussed with the analysis of Karabakh, which is the main crisis, and the Russia-Ukraine War, which is the current crisis. On the other hand, the analysis of the thirty-year process in the Turkish World, starting from the scales of the community, autonomous region, and country, was carried out through the examples of Georgia, Tatarstan, and Uzbekistan.

Asya’nın 2050’li yıllarda eski merkezi konumuna tekrar ulaşacağını gündeme taşıyan bu tarz analiz ve öngörüler Orta Asya’ya yönelik akademik ilgiyi de teşvik edici niteliktedir. Bu kitap bahsedilen arka planın ışığı altında, titiz bir ön çalışmayla belirlenen boşluk doldurucu parametreler ve süreç analizleriyle Türk Dünyasına yönelik özgün bir eser oluşturma hedefinin ürünüdür. Bu doğrultuda; karşılaştırmalı analizlerle ülke kapasitelerini belirleme çabası, Türk Dünyasına sorunlar penceresinden bakma ve yine Türk Dünyasını topluluk, özerk bölge ve ülke kesitlerinden hareketle somutlaştırma gibi üç temel bakış açısı esere hâkimdir.     Description: Yaşlanma, hayatın kaçınılmaz ve ertelenemez bir parçasıdır. Yaşlanma ile birlikte hücrelerimizde ve organlarımızda fonksiyonel ve yapısal önemli değişiklikler olmaktadır. Dünyada 20.Yüzyılın başında başlayan hızlı nüfus artışı ile birlikte yaşam şartlarında düzelme ve tedavi seçeneklerinin artması yaşlı nüfus sayısının da artmasına neden olmuştur. 2030 yılında, dünya üzerinde her altı kişiden birinin 60 yaş üzerinde olacağı öngörülmüştür. 80 yaş üzerindeki bireylerin ise 426 milyon olması beklenmektedir. Bu artış nedeniyle tek başına “yaşlı” kavramı yeterli olmamış, genç yaşlılık (65-74 yaş), orta yaşlılık (75-84 yaş) ileri yaşlılık (〉85 yaş) kavramlarının kullanılması gerektiği öne sürülmüştür. Bir ülkenin yaşlı nüfusunun toplam nüfusa oranı %8-10 arasında olması ülkenin ‘’yaşlı’’, %10 üzerinde olması ‘’çok yaşlı’’ olduğu anlamına gelmektedir. Ülkemizde bu oranın 2050 yılından %20.8 olması beklenmektedir. 2030 yılında ise ortalama yaşam süresi 74-79 yıl olacaktır. Yaşlanmanın toplumlarda artışı bazı sağlık sorunlarının daha sık görülmesine neden olmaktadır. Buna paralel olarak 65 yaş üzerindeki bireylerin dahili hastalıkları, psikososyal yaşamları ve beraberinde koruyucu sağlık hizmetleri ile ilgilenen geriatri bilim dalı giderek artan bir öneme sahip olmaktadır. Yaşlanma, diğer organ sistemlerinde olduğu gibi böbreklerde de moleküler, fonksiyonel ve yapısal değişikliklere neden olmaktadır. Yaşlanmaya yanıt olarak böbreklerde hemodinamik ve fizyolojik önemli değişiklikler ortaya çıkar. İyileşme süresi uzar, hasarlanmaya dayanma yeteneği azalır. Ayrıca yaşla birlikte artan ve böbrek hastalıklarının en önemli nedenlerinden olan hipertansiyon ve diyabet gibi hastalıklarda akut ve kronik böbrek hastalığının yaşlılarda daha sık görülmesine neden olur. Yaşlılarda, böbrek hastalığının yanı sıra çoklu hastalıkların birlikte olması, polifarmasi ihtiyacı, ilaç metabolizmasının karaciğer fonksiyonlarındaki değişiklikler gibi çeşitli nedenlerle farklılaşması nefrologların ya da böbrek hastalıklarının tedavisi ile uğraşan hekimlerin günlük pratiklerinde göz önünde bulundurmaları gereken kavramlardır. Ne yazık ki geriatrik nefroloji kavramı, nefroloji ve İç hastalıkları eğitimi içinde yeterli öneme kavuşamamıştır. Ülkemizde ve dünya da geriatrik nefroloji alanında az sayıda bilimsel çalışma mevcuttur. Konuyla ilgili başvuru kitabı ise hemen hemen hiç yoktur. Bu alandaki boşluğu kısmen de olsa doldurmayı amaçlayan bu kitap nefroloji ve geriatri bilim dallarında çalışan bilim insanlarının katkıları ve özverileriyle oluşmuştur.

    Middle Cambrian agnostoids and trilobites from the Lower Allochthon, Swedish Caledonides (2024)

    Description: A middle Cambrian (Miaolingian) agnostoid-paradoxidid fauna from the Alum Shale Formation of the Lower Allochthon in the Caledonides of northwestern Sweden is described. More than 1000 specimens were collected from 46 localities in the Blaik Nappe Complex. This complex represents displaced strata, originally deposited on the distal outer shelf of Baltica. Strong tectonic overprint prevented systematic bed-by-bed sampling, but the collected fauna represents the Pentagnostus praecurrens, Triplagnostus gibbus, Acidusus atavus, Ptychagnostus punctuosus, Goniagnostus nathorsti and lower part of the Lejopyge laevigata agnostoid zones. The Hawke Bay hiatus encompasses the Kibartian and basal Bödan stages. Higher up, the upper part of the L. laevigata Zone appears to be absent, and the overlying Agnostus pisiformis Zone is found only at a few localities, developed as the Exporrecta Conglomerate. This is suggestive of local isostatic uplift in the late Miaolingian. One new species, Cotalagnostus greilingi n. sp., is described and Lejopyge calva Robinson, Hypagnostus clipeus Whitehouse, Doryagnostus deltoides Robinson and Lisogoragnostus confluentus (Rudolph) are for the first time reported from Sweden. All other taxa recorded are known also from the Miaolingian of southern Scandinavia, but the faunal composition in terms of relative frequencies differs. Agnostoid arthropods dominate (39 taxa) with trilobites (17 taxa) as a minor to rare constituent. The palaeoecology of Miaolingian faunas described from Scandinavia is discussed briefly. Three benthic biofacies are recognized, representing a depth transect from well-ventilated inner shelf environments dominated by a diverse trilobite fauna with sparse to infrequent agnostoids (southern Scandinavia) to outer shelf dysoxic environments with more frequent agnostoids and sparse to no trilobites (study area).

    Description: With the onset of integration of web technologies into our lives, a global transformation process has been triggered and traditional approaches have tended to evolve into digital organisms as a past aspect of the millennium line. The one-way information transfer process, which was activated with the Web 1.0 era, took root on the basis of content sharing and 'collaboration' with Web 2.0, and was characterized in a 'smart' and 'individualized' form with the Web 3.0, and eventually ended up searching for an artificial intelligence-oriented direction. The developments in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing algorithms, on the other hand, were crowned with the Web 4.0 technology, and the artificial intelligence-based virtual reality atmospheres became the center of attention as the new phenomenon of digital. As far as the relevant perspective is concerned, it is possible to say that today's modernization standards are shaped within the framework of technology. While the parameters of the 'new generation world' are built on the digital plane, the 'new generation of people' generations develop specifically in the skills of this plane.

    Description: Web teknolojilerinin hayatımıza entegre olmaya başlamasıyla küresel çaplı bir dönüşüm süreci tetiklenmiş ve geleneksel yaklaşımlar, milenyum çizgisinin geçmişte kalan yönü olarak dijital organizmalara evrilme trendinde bir yönelim içerisine girmişlerdir. Web 1.0 dönemi ile aktif hale gelen tek yönlü bilgi aktarımı süreci, Web 2.0 ile içerik paylaşımı’ ve ‘iş birliği’ yapabilme temelinde kök salmış; Web 3.0 ile ‘akıllı’ ve ‘bireyselleştirilmiş’ bir formda karakterize edilerek yapay zeka eksenli bir yön bulma arayışı içerisine girmiştir. Makine öğrenmesi, derin öğrenme ve doğal dil işleme algoritmalarındaki gelişmeler ise Web 4.0 teknolojisiyle taçlanmış ve yapay zeka tabanlı sanal gerçeklik atmosferleri, dijitalin yeni fenomeni olarak ilgi odağı haline gelmiştir. İlgili perspektiften hareketle; günümüz modernizasyon standartlarının teknoloji çerçevesinde şekil aldığını söyleyebiliriz. ‘Yeni nesil dünya’ parametreleri, dijital düzlem üzerine inşa edilirken ‘yeni nesil insan’ jenerasyonları ise bu düzlem becerileri özelinde gelişim göstermektedir. Covid 19 sonrası yaşanan süreçle birlikte bilginin, dijitalde yapılandığı ivme hız kazanmış ve teknoloji tabanlı pedagojik paradigmalar ön plana çıkmaya başlamıştır. Bu paradigmaların öğrenme ortamlarına yansımasıyla geleneksel sınıf atmosferleri algısında radikal değişikliklerin meydana geldiğini söylemek mümkündür. Dijital eğitim uygulamaları, yüz yüze eğitim metodunun bir alternatifi olmanın ötesinde pedagojinin başat unsuru olma yönünde hızla gelişim gösterirken öğretmen ve öğrenci arasındaki etkileşim süreci, çevrim içi merkezli öğretim tasarımları merceğinde desenlenme dönüşümü göstermektedir. Dil eğitimi sahası da ilgili entegrasyondan etkilenmekte ve yeni nesil dil becerileri, dijital yeterlikler ekseninde evrim geçirme haliyle karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Dolayısıyla yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi olgusu, yabancı dil olarak dijital Türkçe öğretimi çerçevesinde kavramsallaşmakta; bir başka deyişle teknoloji tabanlı beceriler odaklı örnek dil tanımlayıcılarıyla (illustrative descriptors) betimlenme eğilimi sergilemektedir. İlgili önem durumu, bu çalışmanın biçimlenmesine zemin hazırlamış ve Yabancı Dil Olarak Dijital Türkçe Öğretimi kitabı, teknolojik adaptasyonun getirdiği bir ihtiyacı karşılama güdüsüyle ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu bağlamdan hareketle çalışmanın ortaya çıkış amacının; sanal ortamlarda web araçlarıyla uygulanacak yabancı dil öğretimine ilişkin dijital bir farkındalık kazandırmak amaçlanmıştır. Yabancı Dil Olarak Dijital Türkçe Öğretimi; ‘Dijital Öğrenme ve Yabancı Dil Öğretimine İlişkin Teorik Çerçeve’, ‘Dijital Beceri Alanlarına İlişkin Web Tabanlı Uygulama Araçları, ‘Dijital Öğrenme Ortamı Yapılandırmaya İlişkin Web Tabanlı Uygulama Araçları’, ‘Dijital Öğretim Materyallerine İlişkin Web Tabanlı Uygulama Araçları’, ‘Dijital Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Etkinliklerine İlişkin Web Tabanlı Uygulama Araçları’ ve ‘Dijital Öğretim ‘Yaklaşımlarına İlişkin Yenilikçi Uygulamalar’ olmak üzere altı alt başlık temelinde yapılandırılmış 22 bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında tanıtılan dijital uygulama araçlarının, her bölüm içeriğinin kendi temasına uygun olacak şekilde uygulama örnekleri ve etkinlikler üzerinden somutlaştırılması esas alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla çalışma sınırları çerçevesinde tanıtılan aynı dijital araçların, farklı bölüm metinlerinde farklı işlevlerine yönelik çeşitli özelliklerinin zengin örneklendirmeler aracılığıyla ön plana çıkartılmasına dikkat edilmiştir. İlgili düzlemde çalışmadan yararlanacak olan araştırmacı, eğitmen ve eğitmen adaylarına; dijital teknoloji araçlarının yabancı dil öğretiminde kullanımına ilişkin geniş bir perspektif sunmak temel ilke edinilmiştir. Çalışmada yer alan bölüm içeriklerinin belirli bir kompozisyon ve tutarlılık dahilinde sunulması adına farklı bölümlerde yer alan aynı dijital araçların birbirinden farkı işlev ve detaylı açıklamalarına ilişkin dipnotlar aracılığıyla köprüler oluşturularak bölümler arası bütünlük oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Yabancı Dil Olarak Dijital Türkçe Öğretimi kitabında yer verilen her bölüm içeriği, alan uzmanlarının görüşüne başvurularak literatüre katkı sağlayacak şekilde tasarlanması prensibiyle oluşturulmuştur. Bölüm içeriklerinde verilen teorik ve kuramsal çerçeveler, farklı literatür çalışmalarıyla desteklenmiş bilimsel alt yapıya dayalı bir zeminde aktarılması hedeflenmiştir. Dijital araçların sunumu sırasında yapılandırılan etkinlik örneklerinin, CEFR ile uyumlu olması ölçüt alınmış ve otantik bağlamlar üzerinden gerçekçi öğrenme atmosferleri kurgulanarak eğitmen ve eğitmen adaylarının eğitim ortamlarında rahatlıkla uygulayabileceği düzeyde olması temel alınmıştır.

    Description: Nyskaping er eit omgrep vi møter i mange samanhengar, og det er gjerne tett kopla til omgrepet innovasjon. Oftast er nyskaping omtalt i positive lada ordelag og som noko vi ønskjer å få til meir av. Men kva inneber nyskaping? Antologien løfter opp nokre spørsmål som er med å tydeleggjere kva nyskaping er. Kva skil nyskaping frå innovasjon? Kva er tilsikta og utilsikta konsekvensar av nyskapingsprosessar? Og kva skal til for å lukkast?. Krav til nyskaping kjem også til UH-sektoren, og dei ulike bidraga i antologien drøftar kva rolle UH-sektoren kan ha i nyskapinga. Nokre av kapitla tar fatt på denne debatten på eit prinsipielt nivå, gjennom å diskutere det opp mot UH-sektoren si rolle og mandatet til institusjonar innan høgare utdanning og forsking. Andre kapittel, med empiri i all hovudsak forankra i «fjordregionen», gjev viktige praktiske døme på korleis slike nyskapingsprosessar utfoldar seg i praksis. Fleire av kapitla diskuterer i større grad nyskapingar – altså produktet snarare enn prosessen. Diskusjonane frå kapitla i denne antologien syner at omgrepet nyskaping er mangfaldig. Eit viktig funn er at nyskapingsomgrepet ser ut til å representere noko anna og lettare handgripeleg for mange av aktørane enn det meir etablerte innovasjonsomgrepet. Det mogleggjer nye former for samhandling og innsikt som også er relevant langt utover regionen døma tek utgangspunkt i.

    Description: Korehito Kurahara and “Proletarian Realism”: Proletarian Literature in Japan in 1920s. This paper examines the proletarian literature movement that emerged in Japan in the 1920s, focusing on Korehito Kurahara, a leading proponent. Kurahara studied Russian literature and his theory, “proletarian realism,” was based on concepts promoted by the Russian Association of Proletarian Writers (RAPP). The paper analyzes two of Kurahara’s works from which proletarian realism originated. Both works are based on arguments between leaders of the proletarian writers’ organization and A. Volonsky. After Kurahara, Japan attempted to interpret proletarian literature from the perspective of literary history, which Kurahara incorporated into Japanese literature based on RAPP discussions. This suggests that Japanese proletarian literary theory developed under the influence of the Soviet Union.

Makarenko’s Pedagogical Poem in the Stalin era was perceived as a eulogy to the collective, while in late Soviet times the dominance of the collective and the tendency to violent solutions already irritated the Russian reader. The German historian Goetz Hillig saw Makarenko as a world pedagogical genius, created his scientific biography, and published a scholarly edition of his writings in German. Elena Tolstaya looks at The Poem, set in post-revolutionary Ukraine, in the aspect of Russian-Ukrainian bilingualism, and looks for possible responses to the actualities of the late 20s – early 30s.

    Description: The Ukrainian Theme in the Legacy of Vladimir (Ze’ev) Jabotinsky. Vladimir (Ze’ev) Jabotinsky (1880-1940) combined the characteristics of a convinced individualist, a nationalist-statist, and an equally convinced liberal with a tendency toward anarchism. He respected every people’s struggle for independence and called nationalism “the individualism of nations”. In his prose, essays and journalism, Jabotinsky was able to synthesize rational analysis with fearless intuition. This combination enabled him to predict both World Wars I and II and the Holocaust, long before Hitler invaded Poland. As a young man he lived for several years in Italy, which he considered his spiritual homeland. His views were formed, on the one hand, under the influence of Italian socialists, Garibaldi and Italian culture in general, and, on the other hand, under the influence of Ukrainian socialists, champions of independence. He maintained friendly contacts with some of them because he combined his Zionism with Ukrainianophilia, which survived despite the monstrous Jewish pogroms organized by the Petlyura troops in 1919-20. A special theme touched upon in the report is the supposed echoes of Ukrainian spontaneous individualism in Jabotinsky’s anarchist tendencies.

    Description: Skjønnlitteraturens ungdommer er saftrike slyngelalderskikkelser. Slyngelalderen er en rampete, utforskende og uforutsigbar livsfase. Den skjønnlitterære ungdommen er, som ungdom ellers, i en prosess der de både skal finne ut av seg selv og kaste seg ut i verden. Selv om dette gjør skjønnlitterær ungdom saft- og næringsrik for den litterære fortolkeren, har de sjeldent fanget litteraturforskerens interesse. Den ellers så omsvermede ungdommen har rett og slett vært oversett som litterært tema og motiv. I denne boken retter vi derfor blikket mot ungdom i skjønnlitteraturen. Hvilken plass og funksjon har ungdom i litteraturen? Artiklene i antologien viser at enkelte bruker litteraturen for å vise ungdom hva de bør være, mens andre er opptatt av å utvide forståelsen av ungdom gjennom skildringer av hva ungdom er. Artiklene belyser skjønnlitterær ungdom fra 1700-tallet fram til vår tid, og de tydeliggjør samlet sett at saftrik ungdom florerer i litteraturen, også der man trodde de kanskje ikke fantes. Ungdom bør følgelig betraktes som et sentralt og kraftfullt litterært motiv. Artiklene i antologien dekker et bredt spekter: Her undersøkes både kjente og ukjente og eldre så vel som nyere tekster. Nedslagene er hovedsakelig i skandinavisk litteratur, men linjene trekkes også mot Europa. Boken retter seg mot studenter, undervisere og forskere i lærerutdanningene og i litteraturvitenskap og mot alle andre som har interesse for skjønnlitteratur og ungdom.

    Description: Eventer som forskningsområde er i konstant utvikling ved at stadig nye sider av eventer har blitt undersøkt. I denne boka viser forskere fra ulike fagtradisjoner, og dermed med forskjellige perspektiver og teoretiske innfallsvinkler, hvordan eventer og beredskap kan knyttes til ulike kontekster. Boka retter seg i all hovedsak mot en norsk beredskapskontekst, og en stor andel av kapitlene er knyttet til koronapandemien. Pandemien førte til avlysning av eventer eller til eventer uten publikum – og et behov for ny kunnskap når en slik langvarig krise oppstår, viste kunnskapshull om beredskap ved eventer, som må fylles. Dermed har også koblingen mellom eventer og beredskap blitt tydeligere. Den første halvdelen av boka tar utgangspunkt i koronapandemien og hvilke utfordringer pandemien har skapt for ulike eventinteressenter, og da særlig innen idretten. Den andre halvdelen retter oppmerksomheten mot generelle problemstillinger relatert til beredskap ved eventer. Boka er en forskningsbasert antologi, men henvender seg også til en bred målgruppe av studenter og praktikere som er interessert i beredskap og eventer.

    Description: The Mamluks (648-923/1250-1517), who ruled Egypt, Syria, and the Hijaz region, are considered to be one of the most important Muslim-Turkish states in Islamic history because they put an end to the Crusader threat in Syria and stopped the westward advance of the Mongols (Ilkhanids) who had destroyed the eastern part of the Islamic world. The Mamluks’ establishment of security and stability in their lands enabled the ulama, who were affected by the political turmoil in Andalusia and Anatolia, as well as central Iraq and Iran in the early 7th/13th century, to turn to the Egyptian-Sham region. In addition to the political stability they created, the Mamluks built many scientific institutions in cities such as Cairo, Damascus, Aleppo, and Jerusalem. They provided wide opportunities to scholars, making these cities the most important centers of knowledge. The rich scholarly environment in Egypt and Damascus, which attracted many scholars from various parts of the Islamic world, paved the way for the writing of many works in almost every field of Islamic sciences and the emergence of new and voluminous encyclopedic genres. Thus, an enormous amount of literature was created in fiqh, hadith, tafsīr, kalām, mysticism, philosophy, logic, qirāʾa, sīra, history, and tabāqat. The understanding and interpretation of this literature, which is the result of an unprecedented scholarly effort in Islamic history, requires the contribution of many researchers in different fields. As a result of this need, interest in the scholarly and cultural accumulation of the Mamluk period is increasing both in international academic circles and in our country. Although the number and quality of studies on the political history of the Mamluks are not yet at the desired level, some studies have been conducted in the Turkish literature. However, research on the ulama, scientific institutions, types of works, and the status of Islamic sciences during the Mamluk period is still in its infancy. To overcome this deficiency to some extent, the Institute of Islamic Studies at Istanbul University (then known as the Center for Islamic Studies at Istanbul University) organized a workshop titled Islamic Sciences in the Mamluk Period on 19-20 September 2019. Thus, it was aimed to evaluate the status of the studies on the ulama and Islamic sciences related to the Mamluk period, to propose new research topics in the areas of need, to ensure cooperation among those interested in this field, and to create a basis for future studies. At the end of this workshop, the need to organize an international meeting with wide participation in the scholarly tradition in the Mamluk period was expressed. For this purpose, an international symposium titled The Tradition of Knowledge in the Mamluk Period-I (13th and 14th Centuries) was organized on September 28-29, 2021, hosted by Istanbul University in cooperation with the Institute of Islamic Studies at Istanbul University and the Foundation for Research in Islamic Sciences (ISAV). In the symposium, many researchers made presentations on tafsīr, hadith, fiqh, historiography, philosophy, kalām, mysticism, culture-literature, ulama, and scientific institutions. This book was formed by revising some of the papers presented at the symposium during the publication phase. The full text of the relevant papers has been reviewed and turned into articles. The thematically re-planned book consists of seven chapters: Qurʾānic Sciences and Tafsīr, Fiqh Thought and Literature, Hanafi Fiqh and Hadith Studies, Kalām, History and Sīra Writing, Language and Literature, Scientific Institutions and Ulama. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak, Rector of Istanbul University, and Prof. Dr. Salih Tuğ, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ISAV, for their support during the organization of the symposium.

Memlüklerin hâkim oldukları topraklarda güven ve istikrar temin etmeleri, 7./13. asrın başlarında Endülüs ve Anadolu coğrafyası ile merkezî Irak ve İran topraklarında yaşanan siyasi karmaşa ortamından etkilenen ulemanın Mısır-Şam bölgesine yönelmesini sağlamıştır. Memlükler oluşturdukları siyasi istikrarın yanında Kahire, Dımaşk, Halep ve Kudüs gibi şehirlerde inşa ettikleri çok sayıda ilim kurumu ve ulemaya sundukları geniş imkânlarla bu şehirlerin en önemli ilim merkezleri haline gelmesini sağlamışlardır. Bu vesileyle İslâm dünyasının çeşitli bölgelerinden çok sayıda âlimin yöneldiği Mısır ve Şam şehirlerinde oluşan zengin ilmî ortam, İslâmî ilimlerin hemen her sahasında pek çok eserin kaleme alınmasına, aynı zamanda yeni ve hacimli ansiklopedik tarzda telif türlerinin ortaya çıkmasına zemin hazırlamıştır. Böylece fıkıh, hadis, tefsir, kelâm, tasavvuf, felsefe, mantık, kıraat, siyer, tarih ve tabakat ilimlerinde muazzam bir literatür oluşmuştur. İslâm tarihinde eşine az rastlanan bir ilmî mesainin sonucu olarak ortaya konan bu literatürün anlaşılması ve yorumlanması farklı alanlarda pek çok araştırmacının katkısına ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu ihtiyacın bir sonucu olarak Memlükler dönemindeki ilmî ve kültürel birikime yönelik ilgi gerek uluslararası akademik çevrelerde gerekse ülkemizde giderek artmaktadır. Memlüklerin siyasi tarihine dair sayısı ve niteliği henüz arzulanan seviyede olmamakla birlikte Türkçe literatürde bazı çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Ancak Memlükler döneminde ulema, ilim kurumları, telif eser türleri ve İslâmî ilimlerin durumu hakkındaki araştırmalar henüz başlangıç düzeyindedir. Bu konudaki eksikliğin bir nebze dahi olsa giderilmesi amacıyla İstanbul Üniversitesi İslâm Tetkikleri Enstitüsü (o zamanki ismiyle İstanbul Üniversitesi İslam Araştırmaları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi) tarafından 19-20 Eylül 2019 tarihlerinde Memlükler Döneminde İslâmî İlimler adıyla bir çalıştay düzenlenmiştir. Böylece Memlükler dönemiyle ilgili ulema ve İslâmî ilimler hakkındaki çalışmaların durumunun değerlendirilmesi, ihtiyaç duyulan alanlarda yeni araştırma konularının teklif edilmesi, bu sahanın ilgilileri arasında iş birliğinin sağlanması ve yapılacak çalışmalar için bir zemin oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Yine bu çalıştayın sonunda Memlükler dönemindeki ilim geleneğine dair geniş katılımlı uluslararası bir toplantının düzenlenmesi ihtiyacı dile getirilmiştir. Bunun için İstanbul Üniversitesi İslâm Tetkikleri Enstitüsü ile İslâmî İlimler Araştırma Vakfı’nın (İSAV) iş birliği ile 28-29 Eylül 2021 tarihlerinde İstanbul Üniversitesinin ev sahipliğinde Memlükler Dönemi İlim Geleneği-I (XIII.-XIV. Yüzyıllar) adıyla uluslararası sempozyum tertip edilmiştir. Sempozyumda tefsir, hadis, fıkıh, tarih yazıcılığı, felsefe, kelâm, tasavvuf, kültür-edebiyat, ulema ve ilim kurumlarına dair birçok araştırmacı tarafından sunumlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elinizdeki kitap sempozyumda sunulan bazı tebliğlerin yayın aşamasında tekrar gözden geçirilmesiyle teşekkül etmiştir. Tam metin olarak hazırlanan ilgili tebliğler hakemlik sürecine tabi tutularak makale haline getirilmiştir. Tematik olarak yeniden planlanan kitap Kur’ân İlimleri ve Tefsir, Fıkıh Düşüncesi ve Literatürü, Hanefî Fıkhı ve Hadis Çalışmaları, Kelâm, Tarih ve Siyer Yazıcılığı, Dil ve Edebiyat, İlim Kurumları ve Ulema başlıklı yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır.

    Description: Moscow at the turn of history. About the “toponymic upheaval” and not only. The article digs into the urban (and political) geography of Moscow and how this is perceived in Italy in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union. In particular, the investigation will focus on a number of volumes related to the late Soviet era that were published in Italy between the late 1980s and the mid-1990s. The authors are mainly newspaper and TV correspondents: Vittorio Zucconi (1944-2019, Il Corriere della sera, Si fa presto a dire Russia); Demetrio Volcic (1931-2021, RAI, Mosca. I giorni della fine); Enrico Franceschini (1956, La Repubblica) who is both a journalist (La fine dell'impero. Ultimo viaggio in URSS) and a novelist (La donna della Piazza Rossa). However, the texts index also includes a politician, Giulio Andreotti (L’URSS vista da vicino. Dalla guerra fredda a Gorbaciov), and a comic character, Mickey Mouse, who, in an October 1988 issue number, shows how in the years of perestroika people looked at the nascent (dying) country with both fear and curiosity. All the authors, regardless of their profession and orientation, have the feeling that they are also witnessing history through urban geography; it is no coincidence that all the texts analyzed, to varying extents, “photograph” buildings, streets, monuments... that is to say , “places,” which may be “old,” i.e. inherited from previous travelers or the result of historical, political or literary reminiscences, or “new” places, where a new path of history is being written.

Bu sorunlar özellikle son yıllarda “Gıda Güvenliği” teriminin toplum açısından önem kazanmasına neden olmuştur. Tüm bu bilinçlenme ve hazır tüketime yönelik gelişmelerle birlikte su ürünlerinin gıda güvenliği ve kalite korunumu bakımından hassasiyeti ile çevresel faktörlerden kolay etkilendikleri için üretimden tüketime kadar her aşamada dikkat ve özen gösterilmesi gerektiğini de ortaya koymaktadır. Sağlıklı bir üretimin ilk şartı kaliteli hammaddedir. Güvenli ve kaliteli ürün elde edilebilmesi için de ham (taze üründen) materyalden işlenmiş ürüne kadar, etkili gıda güvenliği ve kalite kontrol uygulamaları zorunluluk arz etmektedir. Kalite ile ilgili olarak belirlenen hedeflere ve standartlara ulaşmak için uygulanan teknikler ve yapılan faaliyetleri içeren kalite kontrol ve işletmelerin devamlılıkları açısından dikkat etmeleri gereken en önemli konulardan birisidir. Kalite tüketici açısından ise, beklentileri karşılama düzeyi, alınan ürünün ilgili standartlara ve yönetmeliklere uygunluğudur. Su ürünlerinde kalite kontrol; tüketici gıda güvenliği ve standartlara uyumluluk yönünden durumunun belirlendiği duyusal, fiziksel, kimyasal ve mikrobiyolojik analizlerin bütünlüğü ile oluşmaktadır. Su ürünlerinde uygulanacak olan gıda güvenliği ve kalite kontrol ile uygulamaları balıkçılık/hasat süreciyle başlayıp, nakliye, satış, depolama, işleme prosesleri ve son tüketiciye ulaşıncaya kadar ki tüm aşamaları kapsamaktadır. Bu süreç/kurallar pek çok kişi ve kuruluşu ilgilendirdiğinden, “Su Ürünlerinde Gıda Güvenliği ve Kalite Kontrol” konusunu kapsamlı olarak anlatan bir kaynağa ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.     Description: İstanbul Üniversitesi Yayınları’nın çağrısı üzerine hazırladığımız ve Cumhuriyetin 100.yılına armağan etmek istediğimiz bu küçük çalışmamızı hatırat, anılar ve bu alandaki yazınla ilgilenen meslektaşlarımızın ve meraklı okurların ilgisine sunuyoruz. Toplumsal hafıza ve hafızanın üretimi, siyaseti üzerine düşünürken geç Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemi anılarını uzun zamandır okuyor ve bu konu üzerinde çalışıyorduk. Bu kapsamda çeşitli alanlara yayılmış anıları inceledik: erkekler ve kadınlar tarafından kaleme alınmış, farklı toplumsal grupların deneyimlerini yansıtan anıların yanı sıra tematik olarak da İstanbul, belirli siyasal olaylar ve meslek gruplarının anılarını eleştirel bir gözle okuduk, tartıştık. Toplumsal hiyerarşinin en üstünde yer alan kişilerin, devlet adamı, asker, diplomat, siyasetçi ve edebiyatçı anılarının yanı sıra farklı toplumsal sınıflara mensup insanların anılarını okurken farklı din, dil ve etnik gruplardan kişilerin kendilerini nasıl ifade ettiğini izlemeye çalıştık. Bu küçük çalışmamızda öncelikle hatırat/anı türünü, yaşam öyküsü anlatılarını tarihsel geçmiş, erken ve modern örnekler, batı ve batı dışı ülkelerdeki ilgili yazın ışığında gözden geçirdik. Cumhuriyet Türkiye’sini, dönemler, gelişmeler ve sorunlarını, öne çıkan temaları, tartışma ve modaları, değişen mekânı geç Osmanlı döneminden başlayarak anılar yardımıyla bir kez daha okuyabileceğimizi hatırlatmak istedik. Geç Osmanlı dönemi derken 1908 ve sonrasını esas almak, Büyük Savaş ve Cumhuriyetin kuruluşunu, İstanbul, İzmir ve Ankara’da yaşayan ve anıları yayınlanmış aydınlar, sanatçı ve siyasetçiler, gazeteciler, anılarını kaleme almış sıradan insanların gözünden izlemek bize önemli ve öğretici geliyor. Bu insanların kişisel ve grupsal anlatıları, aile deneyimleri bize tarihi daha insani, daha içeriden, yaşayanların tecrübesiyle ete kemiğe büründürüyor, daha anlaşılır kılıyor. Bunu en iyi yapabileceğimiz aracın kişilerin yaşam öyküsü anlatıları ve anıları olduğunu düşünüyoruz. Anılarını yazanların aile öykülerinden başlayarak geçmişlerini nasıl ele aldıkları, dönemleri ve deneyimlerini nasıl değerlendirdikleri, yorumladıkları tarih ve siyaset açısından kıymeti çoğu kez bilinmeyen bir önem ve değer taşıyor. Elbette anıları bir tarihsel belge olarak kullanmak, gerçekliğe referans olarak bakmak çeşitli sorunlar taşıyor. Bilimsel tarih çalışmaları ile hafıza, anılar ve anlatılar arasında gidip gelen, edebi türlere yakın duran, bireysel, düşünsel farklılıklar, kırılmalar, tercihler ve yorum farklılıkları içeren bir tür, yaşam öyküsü anlatıları. Çalışmamızın amaçları arasında tarih yazımı ile bu türden kişisel anlatıların, hayat öyküleri ve anıların niteliği üzerine düşünmek ve çalışmak da yer aldı. Bu anlamda yöntem üzerine de düşündük ve bu konuya da çalışmamızda değindik. Tüm eksiklikleri, görüş ve deneyim farklılıkları ve yazılış amaçlarına bağlı olarak kırılmış merceklerden bakış açılarına karşın anıların ülkemizin yakın tarihine, Cumhuriyet tarihine ışık tutacak nitelikte ve canlılıkta olduklarını düşüncesiyle tarihi bir de yaşayanların gözünden, onlar açısından, gerçek insanların deneyimleri ışığında düşünmek ve tartışmakta yarar olduğunu iddia ediyoruz. Çalışmamızın özgün yanlarından en önemlisi bu konuda bir bibliyografya hazırlamış olmamız. Bibliyografya çalışmasının bu alanda araştırma yapan meslektaşlarımıza, öğrencilerimize, anı okurlarına, konuyla ilgili herkese yararlı olmasını umuyoruz.

    Description: Göl, akarsu ve denizler yüzyılları aşan süreden beri çoğunluğu insan kaynaklı olmak üzere çeşitli kirleticilerin baskısı altında bulunmaktadırlar. Özellikle endüstriyel üretimin hız kazandığı 1900’lü yılların ortalarından itibaren bu baskılar daha da artmış birçok su kaynağı kullanılamaz hale gelmiştir. Su kalitesindeki bozulmalar ve iklimsel değişim nedeniyle çok sayıda tür ortadan kalkmış, ya da tükenme noktasına gelmiştir. Ülkemizde de benzer çevresel sorunlar 1950’li yıllardan itibaren görülmeye başlanmıştır. Başta sanayi üretiminin büyük bir kısmının gerçekleştiği Marmara Bölgesindeki deniz ve içsu kaynakları olmak üzere birçok su kaynağı sanayi atıkları, evsel atıklar ve tarımsal kirleticiler ile baş başa bırakılmıştır. Söz konusu kirleticiler nedeniyle en büyük su kalitesi kaybına uğrayan alanların başında ise Marmara Denizi gelmektedir. Marmara Denizi havzası başta ülkemizin en büyük şehri olan İstanbul olmak üzere en büyük şehirlerini barındıran bir iç deniz konumundadır. Göreceli olarak küçük bir alan olmasına rağmen havzada ülke nüfusunun yaklaşık 1/3’ü yaşamaktadır. Havzadaki aşırı nüfus artışı ve kontrolsüz yapılaşma özellikle Marmara Denizi üzerinde büyük bir baskı oluşturmuştur. Uzun yıllar süresince arıtılmadan ya da sadece ön arıtıma tabi tutularak Marmara Denizine verilen atıklar denizin taşıma kapasitesini aşmış, bu nedenle denizde yaşayan birçok canlı türü tamamen ortadan kaybolmuştur. Hatta aşırı kirlenme nedeniyle Marmara Denizi’nin “Doğu Körfez” bölümü uzun yılardan beri balıkçılığa kapatılmıştır. Son zamanlarda Marmara Denizinde ortaya çıkan en önemli ekolojik sorunlardan bir tanesi de yaklaşık 6 ay süren müsilaj artışıdır. Müsilaj Ocak 2021 de başlayıp Haziran 2021’e kadar devam etmiştir. Müsilaj artışının 6 ay gibi uzun bir süre devam etmesi, büyük bir alanda habitat kayıpları yaratması, ekolojik tahribat kadar ekonomik kayıplara neden olması, balıkçılık dahil birçok ekosistem hizmetlerini etkilemesi nedeniyle dünya literatürüne girmiştir. İstanbul Üniversitesi olarak böylesine önemli ekolojik sorunu detaylı bir şekilde araştırmak, sonuçlarını ortaya koymanın gerekliliğine inanarak sadece Marmara Denizi’nde ortaya çıkan müsilaj sorunu ile ilgili çalışmaların yer aldığı 13 bölümden oluşan kitap yayınlamaya karar verdik. Deniz araştırmaları konusunda yaklaşık 80 yıllık deneyime sahip İstanbul Üniversitesinin yayınladığı bu eserin deniz bilimcilere ve karar vericilere başucu kaynağı olmasını diliyoruz.

    Description: Paradoxality as a Specific Feature of Dostoevsky’s Literary Works. Techniques, Stylistics, Mechanisms of Action. All works by Dostoevsky reveal the presence of paradox. These paradoxes act according to mechanisms that depend either on the fictional (polyphonic) or nonfictional (monologic) text “dominant.” Taking as a starting point (a) the arguments of G.S. Morson, according to whom paradoxes “seem to carry the quintessence of ‘Dostoevskyism’, particularly of his brand of humor,” (b) the analysis of Dostoevsky’s paradoxical humor; and (c) the three main categories of paradoxes (“empty or rhetorical”, “negative”, “positive”), we argue that Dostoevsky applies a fourth type of paradox, one that affects neither the premise nor the ending of the paradoxical structure, but their intrinsic logical interconnection. This article analyses a repertoire of paradoxical techniques used by Dostoevsky, focusing on the destabilizing humoristic function they enact.

    Description: Humor and Irony as a Means of Combating Atheism in the Discourse of F.M. Dostoevsky . The question of the God’s existence troubled Dostoevsky throughout his life. He created a very convincing portrait of the atheist of his time. He did not consider unbelievers immoral, but only “infected with recklessness”, and when speaking of his atheist acquaintances, often admitted that they were good people. Dostoevsky created the image of an atheist as an intelligent person, who is guided not by the heart, but by the mind and who often evokes sympathy for his questing, his thinking, and his suffering (like Versilov or Ivan Karamazov). If we carefully consider the “atheistic” characters of Dostoevsky, however, we will see that atheism is a phenomenon associated with something both bad and funny. Through humorous details, Dostoevsky imperceptibly creates an image of the “atheist” as a comical and frivolous person.

When considering laughter in Dostoevsky, one immediately thinks of the long “tirade” in The Adolescent, which proposes a kind of physiology of laughter, and its unpredictable effects on the perception of those who witness it. Laughter and caustic humor color even the most intimate confessions and can serve to partially mask the difficult action of revealing oneself before others. Modernity itself is the era of self-exhibition, of a sort of widespread confession. And yet, the laughter of modernity has lost the essence of joy. Joy is a function of that almost impossible sincerity that unveils the essence of man. The grimace of the fool, who shamelessly denudes himself before others in confession, becomes a sign of the isolation of the modern self and the end of the utopia of sincerity pursued by Rousseau.

    Description: On Features of Word Usage in Dostoevsky’s Poetic Dictionary in Connection with M.L. Uralskij and G. Mondry’s Dostoevsky and the Jews (St. Petersburg: Aletheia, 2021) . This article addresses the question of Dostoevsky’s alleged anti-Semitism with particular attention to Uralskij and Mondry’s book devoted to this topic, in which conclusions about the author’s chauvinism and xenophobia are based on his use of the word ‘Jew’ (zhid). For almost the entirety of the 19th century, however, such word usage was not a marker of anti-Semitism. Throughout his life, Dostoevsky communicated with many representatives of the Jewish people without differentitating them in any particular way from representatives of other nationalities. In the writer’s poetic dictionary, the word ‘Jew’ sometimes denotes a person who acquires unscrupulously, examples of which Dostoevsky found in all nationalities of the world, including the Russian.

    Description: Turkic World studies seem to be a topic that attracts scientific attention day by day. The continuous increase in cooperation, rapprochement, and mobility between Turkish-speaking countries and communities since 1991 might be shown as the main dynamic behind this interest. The richness of the Turkic Republics in terms of natural resources, their location on the energy and transportation corridors, the change of the balances in the Caucasus with the Second Karabakh War in 2020, and the transition of the Turkic Council from a cooperation organization to an interstate organization in 2021 under the name of the "Organization of Turkic States" also accelerate the work of the Turkic World. In the meantime, the popularization of some geopolitical determinations and predictions in the context of scientific interest in the region can be shown as an important factor. Similar to the rise of Europe in the industrial age, we can talk about the rise of Asia in the information age. The sources of political and economic power are shifting to Asian geopolitics and this process continues to strengthen. Such analyses and predictions, which bring to the agenda that in the 2050s, Asia will regain its former central position also encourage academic interest in Central Asia. This book is the product of the goal of creating an original work for the Turkish World with gap-filling parameters and process analyses determined by a meticulous preliminary study in the light of the mentioned background. In this direction, three basic perspectives such as the effort to determine the capacities of the countries with comparative analyses, to look at the Turkish World from the perspective of problems, and to embody the Turkish World based on the community, autonomous region, and country sections dominate the work. With comparative analyses, it has been tried to embody the capacities of the countries within the parameters such as sustainable development potential, transportation systems, scientific performance, evolution in the political system, education system, and values of education. On the other hand, the crises affecting the Turkic World were discussed with the analysis of Karabakh, which is the main crisis, and the Russia-Ukraine War, which is the current crisis. On the other hand, the analysis of the thirty-year process in the Turkish World, starting from the scales of the community, autonomous region, and country, was carried out through the examples of Georgia, Tatarstan, and Uzbekistan.

Bu doğrultuda; karşılaştırmalı analizlerle ülke kapasitelerini belirleme çabası, Türk Dünyasına sorunlar penceresinden bakma ve yine Türk Dünyasını topluluk, özerk bölge ve ülke kesitlerinden hareketle somutlaştırma gibi üç temel bakış açısı esere hâkimdir. Karşılaştırmalı analizlerle ülke kapasitelerini somutlaştırma; sürdürülebilir kalkınma potansiyeli, ulaşım sistemleri, bilimsel performans, siyasal sistemdeki evrim, eğitim sistemi ve değerler eğitimi gibi parametreler dâhilinde gerçekleştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Türk Dünyasını etkileyen krizler ise; başlıca kriz konumunda olan Karabağ ve güncel kriz olan Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşına yönelik analizlerle ele alınmıştır. Türk Dünyasındaki otuz yıllık sürece topluluk, özerk bölge ve ülke ölçeklerinden hareketle göz atma ise; Gürcistan, Tataristan ve Özbekistan örnekleri üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir.

    Description: In The Icon and the Square, Maria Taroutina examines how the traditional interests of institutions such as the crown, the church, and the Imperial Academy of Arts temporarily aligned with the radical, leftist, and revolutionary avant-garde at the turn of the twentieth century through a shared interest in the Byzantine past, offering a counternarrative to prevailing notions of Russian modernism.Focusing on the works of four different artists—Mikhail Vrubel, Vasily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, and Vladimir Tatlin—Taroutina shows how engagement with medieval pictorial traditions drove each artist to transform his own practice, pushing beyond the established boundaries of his respective artistic and intellectual milieu. She also contextualizes and complements her study of the work of these artists with an examination of the activities of a number of important cultural associations and institutions over the course of several decades. As a result, The Icon and the Square gives a more complete picture of Russian modernism: one that attends to the dialogue between generations of artists, curators, collectors, critics, and theorists.The Icon and the Square retrieves a neglected but vital history that was deliberately suppressed by the atheist Soviet regime and subsequently ignored in favor of the secular formalism of mainstream modernist criticism.     Description: This book examines different contexts relevant to Pushkin in 1825 when the poem “Count Nulin” was written. Its bulk consists of studies devoted to (1) various manuscripts of the text, (2) the issue of censorship and the publication of “Count Nulin” during Pushkin’s life, (3) the biographical context for the poem’s creation, (4) the role of the text in literary polemics and (5) reactions of critics (as well as readers) during Pushkin’s lifetime. Developing the idea of Boris Eikhenbaum, R. Leibov proposes that the text was addressed primarily to members of the Petersburg literati who made up the “Poliarnaia zvezda” (Polar Star) circle. Moreover, Leibov suggests that, in “Count Nulin”, Pushkin purposefully exaggerated those literary techniques that attracted criticism in “Eugene Onegin”, making “Count Nulin” function as a self-parody. The final section of the book is composed of commentary on the poem, combining a traditional focus on the interpretation of fragments of the text with an emphasis on its overall composition, as well as description of the changing rhetorical and narrative strategies of its author.

    Description: In the period from the middle of the 19th century until the outbreak of the First World War, a modern Norwegian literature developed in parallel with a modern Norwegian media society. New forms of transport and communication, sound and imaging techniques, changed the conditions for what man could see, hear, do, know and imagine. How was Norwegian literature affected by these media technological changes? This book examines how the relationship between man and his media was expressed in Norwegian literature written in the period from 1850 to the beginning of the 20th century. The book shows how the literary innovations of the late 19th century can be understood as responses to the same period's media development, and thus advocates that a media aesthetic perspective can actualize and renew our understanding of this central period in Norwegian literary history.

    Description: Hans Nielsen Hauge established and led at the end of the 18th century Norway's first nationwide popular movement, a low church network that would leave its mark on everyday life, business development and politics in the transition from absolute monarchy to representational government. People called themselves Haugians long after Hauge's death in 1824. It was a spiritual awakening on a scale that deserves considerable room when we write the history of modern Norway. This book provides a new perspective on the roots of the Hauge movement in the religious mentality of the 18th century, on how it functioned in its most radical phase up to 1814, and on the importance of the network for economic modernization and political mobilization in the subsequent decades. Retrospective interpretations of Hauge's complex endeavor are also explored. In sum, the nine chapters provide a broader understanding of the Hauge movement and the era in which it flourished. We hope that the book also sheds light on the state of Norway's people, government and religiosity today, over 250 years after Hauge's birth. The book has been edited by research fellow Eli Morken Farstad and associate professor Kristian Holen Nymark, both historians at the University of South-Eastern Norway.

    Description: Norsk atten- og nittenhundretalls modernisering og demokratiutvikling har ofte blitt fortolket innenfor sekulære rammer. Men religion og religiøse aktører spilte sentrale roller i norsk nasjonsbygging, noe som kommer spesielt tydelig fram sett i et transnasjonalt perspektiv. Ved å forfølge ulike protestantiske impulser, aktører og transnasjonale nettverk ønsker forfatterne å bidra til ny kunnskap om forholdet mellom religion, sekularisering og modernisering i norsk historie fra 1840-tallet fram til 1980-tallet. Religionen som utforskes, er ulike former for protestantisk kristendom, men ikke bare fra et norsk statskirkelig ståsted. Tre av kapitlene analyserer ulike norske minoritetskristne perspektiv på forhandlinger om det religiøse og det sekulære blant annet vis-a-vis den lutherske statsreligionen. De resterende kapitlene indikerer hvordan norsk statsreligion i praksis var mer heterogen enn man gjerne antar, på bakgrunn av organisasjoner og aktørers tilknytning til det statskirkelige lutherske. Boken analyserer hvordan mange norske kvinner og menn, uavhengig av klasse- og geografisk bakgrunn, ble påvirket av internasjonale, protestantiske strømninger. I framveksten av det moderne Norge både utfordret og fornyet disse strømningene statskirken, samtidig som de førte til opphevingen av statskirkens formelle livssynsmonopol. Strømningene inspirerte også til modernisering og profesjonalisering av helse- og sosialarbeid i nasjonens senter så vel som i periferien. Flere av kapitlene omhandler ulike aspekt av forholdet mellom kristen aktivisme og det som kan oppfattes som sekulær velferdspraksis i sosialhistorisk sammenheng. Med forfattere fra fagfeltene teologi, religionsvitenskap, kirkehistorie og historie er denne boken et bidrag til dypere og mer nyanserte forståelser av det norske samfunnet i tidsperioden 1846–1986.

    Description: Göl, akarsu ve denizler yüzyılları aşan süreden beri çoğunluğu insan kaynaklı olmak üzere çeşitli kirleticilerin baskısı altında bulunmaktadırlar. Özellikle endüstriyel üretimin hız kazandığı 1900’lü yılların ortalarından itibaren bu baskılar daha da artmış birçok su kaynağı kullanılamaz hale gelmiştir. Su kalitesindeki bozulmalar ve iklimsel değişim nedeniyle çok sayıda tür ortadan kalkmış, ya da tükenme noktasına gelmiştir. Ülkemizde de benzer çevresel sorunlar 1950’li yıllardan itibaren görülmeye başlanmıştır. Başta sanayi üretiminin büyük bir kısmının gerçekleştiği Marmara Bölgesindeki deniz ve içsu kaynakları olmak üzere birçok su kaynağı sanayi atıkları, evsel atıklar ve tarımsal kirleticiler ile baş başa bırakılmıştır. Söz konusu kirleticiler nedeniyle en büyük su kalitesi kaybına uğrayan alanların başında ise Marmara Denizi gelmektedir. Marmara Denizi havzası başta ülkemizin en büyük şehri olan İstanbul olmak üzere en büyük şehirlerini barındıran bir iç deniz konumundadır. Göreceli olarak küçük bir alan olmasına rağmen havzada ülke nüfusunun yaklaşık 1/3’ü yaşamaktadır. Havzadaki aşırı nüfus artışı ve kontrolsüz yapılaşma özellikle Marmara Denizi üzerinde büyük bir baskı oluşturmuştur. Uzun yıllar süresince arıtılmadan ya da sadece ön arıtıma tabi tutularak Marmara Denizine verilen atıklar denizin taşıma kapasitesini aşmış, bu nedenle denizde yaşayan birçok canlı türü tamamen ortadan kaybolmuştur. Hatta aşırı kirlenme nedeniyle Marmara Denizi’nin “Doğu Körfez” bölümü uzun yılardan beri balıkçılığa kapatılmıştır. Son zamanlarda Marmara Denizinde ortaya çıkan en önemli ekolojik sorunlardan bir tanesi de yaklaşık 6 ay süren müsilaj artışıdır. Müsilaj Ocak 2021 de başlayıp Haziran 2021’e kadar devam etmiştir. Müsilaj artışının 6 ay gibi uzun bir süre devam etmesi, büyük bir alanda habitat kayıpları yaratması, ekolojik tahribat kadar ekonomik kayıplara neden olması, balıkçılık dahil birçok ekosistem hizmetlerini etkilemesi nedeniyle dünya literatürüne girmiştir. İstanbul Üniversitesi olarak böylesine önemli ekolojik sorunu detaylı bir şekilde araştırmak, sonuçlarını ortaya koymanın gerekliliğine inanarak sadece Marmara Denizi’nde ortaya çıkan müsilaj sorunu ile ilgili çalışmaların yer aldığı 13 bölümden oluşan kitap yayınlamaya karar verdik. Deniz araştırmaları konusunda yaklaşık 80 yıllık deneyime sahip İstanbul Üniversitesinin yayınladığı bu eserin deniz bilimcilere ve karar vericilere başucu kaynağı olmasını diliyoruz.

    Description: Since COVID-19 entered our lives, it has affected our social life, our working life, our lifestyle, our patient care services, our research, and even our behavioral style. Moreover, this epidemic has affected not only one country but also all countries of the world at the same time and with a similar intensity. Almost the health systems of the countries were tested with a test consisting of the same questions. During the pandemic, many unknown equations were intertwined. We had so many unknowns at the beginning of the epidemic. We did not yet clearly know how we approached patients, how to treat them, and what drugs should be given. Over the past two years, much research and many experiences have taught us how to behave against the disease. During the pandemic, we learned by experience how damaging information pollution can be. The epidemic also showed us the vaccine wars. We have seen how valuable the vaccines we use to get rid of the epidemic are, how developed countries have entered vaccine wars, and the change in the dynamics of the epidemic with vaccination. The years 2020-2022 will be defined as the epidemic years. During this epidemic, we saw that it was precious for physicians to get the correct information. This source has been tried to be created thanks to the fact that it has written down the experiences gained by experiencing this epidemic in person.     Description: COVID-19 hayatımıza girdiği tarihten beri sosyal hayatımızı, çalışma hayatımızı, yaşayışımızı, hasta bakım hizmetlerini, araştırmalarımızı ve hatta davranış tarzımızı etkiledi. Üstelik bu öyle bir salgın ki sadece bir ülkede değil, bütün dünya ülkelerinde aynı zamanda ve benzer yoğunlukta etkilendi. Adeta ülkelerin sağlık sistemleri aynı sorulardan oluşan bir sınavla sınandı. Salgın sırasında birçok bilinmeyen denklem iç içe idi. Salgın başında o kadar çok bilinmeyenimiz vardı ki. Hastalara nasıl yaklaştığımızı, nasıl tedavi vereceğimizi ve hangi ilaçların verilmesi gerektiğini henüz net bir şekilde bilmiyorduk. Geçen iki yıl zarfında birçok araştırma ve birçok deneyim bizim hastalığa karşı nasıl davranmamız gerektiğini öğretti. Salgın sırasında bilgi kirliliğinin ne kadar zarar verebilir olduğunu yaşayarak öğrendik. Salgın bize birde aşı savaşlarını gösterdi. Salgından kurtulmak için kullandığımız aşıların ne kadar değerli olduğunu, gelişmiş ülkelerin nasıl aşı savaşlarına girdiğini aşılama ile beraber salgın dinamiklerindeki değişimi gördük. 2020-2022 yılları salgın yılları olarak tanımlanacaktır. Bu salgın sırasında hekimlerin doğru bilgilerin ulaşmasının çok değerli olduğunu gördük. Elinizdeki bu kaynak salgını bizzat yaşayarak elde edilen tecrübelerini yazıya dökmesi sayesinde oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Kitabın oluşturulmasındaki emeği olan tüm arkadaşlarımıza içten teşekkürlerimizi arz ediyoruz. Bu kitabın okuyuculara fayda getirmesini diliyoruz. Bu kitabı, canı pahasına COVID-19 ile savaşan ve hayatını kaybeden tüm sağlık çalışanlarına armağan ediyoruz.

    Description: In Dostoevsky’s binary poetics, an opposition can be drawn between two fundamental stances – asceticism and incontinence. Ascetics adhere to an ethos of self-restraint in response to the desires of the flesh. Incontinents act spontaneously to gratify their desires. The current study draws an analogy between the behavior pattern of Dostoevsky’s self-denying intellectual heroes and that of exiled castrate (skoptsy) communities. Dostoevsky’s ascetics represent a cerebral mindset attracted to visions of social utopia; their intellectualizing detaches them from the life of the body and thus weirdly parallels the strictures of the skoptsy. An encounter between an ascetic and a prostitute serves as a central plot moment in works such as Crime and Punishment and Notes from Underground.

Kuruluşu İstanbul’un fethine dayanan İstanbul Üniversitesi’nin tarihi, bir süreliğine medrese olarak hizmet veren Zeyrek Camii (Pantokrator Manastırı Kilisesi) ve Fatih Külliyesi’ne ait medreselerde verilen eğitime dayanmaktadır. Osmanlı dünyasında 19. yüzyılda başlayan reformlar eğitim sistemini de etkilemiş ve daha batılı bir üniversite anlayışı içeren Dârülfünun denemelerine girişilmiştir. 20. yüzyıl başında devam eden bu süreçte istenilen başarıya ulaşılamamıştır. Cumhuriyet’in ilanından bir süre sonra İsviçreli Profesör Albert Malche’nin raporları esas alınarak hazırlanan ve 31 Mayıs 1933 yılında çıkarılan kanunla birlikte Dârülfünun kapatılmış ve yerine İstanbul Üniversitesi kurulmuştur. Üniversite reformu olarak da bilinen bu dönüşüm, literatürde çağdaş yüksek öğretimin başlangıcı olarak kabul edilmektedir. İstanbul Üniversitesi’nde sunulan eğitimin her unsurunun arkasında asırlık bilgi ve birikim bulunmaktadır. İstanbul Üniversitesi Türkiye’nin yükseköğretim geleneğini kuran, başlatan, kurallarını koyan, nitelikli hale gelmesi için, geliştirilmesi için özgür fikirler üreten bir üniversitedir.     Description: Both the labor movement and the church have played a large part in shaping modern Norwegian society. Relations between them were often strained - sometimes hostile - in the decades before the Second World War. During and after the war, many dreamed of making a fresh start, with the experiences of community and cooperation during the occupation as a basis. This book explores how these dreams turned out. Different ambitions for the good society came together, and fronts and lines of cooperation were established which have characterized Norwegian social life well into the 21st century. Many questions remained open in the 1940s and 1950s. How should the Labor Party, with a majority in the Parliament, deal with the state church in practice? Should it be given greater autonomy, or should it rather be used as a means of keeping people's erratic religious inclinations under some control? Could the church function as the conscience of the state? The Labor Party's welfare state project - was it something everyone had to cheer for, or did it also contain a worrisome totalitarian tendency? These questions have not been systematically investigated in full in the past, and this presentation is based on new source studies. The book covers a central part of recent Norwegian history, and is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand how religion has been treated politically and what role the Church of Norway plays in today's social life.

Попытки завершились успехом уже в начале 1990-х. В раздел «исследования» вошли статьи об одном из малоизвестных членов знаменитого клана баронов Гинцбургов — Альфреде, сыне Горация и о народовольце Савелии Златопольском. Альфред Гинцбург был управляющим Ленскими золотыми приисками и внес существенный вклад в развитие российской золотодобывающей промышленности. И, разумеется, в благосостояние семейства. Статья о члене Исполнительного комитета «Народной воли» Савелии Златопольском является по существу первым исследованием об этом видном деятеле революционного движения. В приложении к статье публикуются показания Златопольского на следствии и письма из заключения. Завершают том публикации лагерных писем известного фольклориста и музыковеда Моисея Береговского и транскрипт интервью Бориса Каменко, чудом пережившего Холокост на Ставрополье. Все остальные члены его семьи были расстреляны нацистами. Материалы, публикуемые в настоящем томе, извлечены из архивов Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга, Нью-Йорка, а также из семейных архивов.

    Description: The book is an extended commentary on Pushkin’s poem “The Robber Brothers”. The author redefines the poem’s place in Pushkin’s creative biography and provides a detailed line-by-line commentary. This poem by Alexander Pushkin has been considered peripheral among his “Southern Poems”, and therefore researchers have paid little attention to it. The main cause of such lack of consideration was the specific history of the creation of “The Robber Brothers.” Pushkin experimented with constructing a new poem at the intersection of different vectors of genre and style topical for both the poet and literature as a whole. Due to this dynamic tension, the concept of the poem became ambiguous – the choice of the plot composition and narrative methods were not determined. After making several attempts and sketches, Pushkin shortened his initial concept and created an author legend on the genesis of the poem, which was introduced to the first audience of readers as a disconnected fragment of a scattered whole, whereas the plot of the poem was depicted as based on a real event. Within Pushkin’s corpus, “The Robber Brothers” remained primarily a literary monument of the author’s rapid evolution during his “Southern” period. It proved to be an extremely concentrated experiment, ultimately without success.

    Description: Local police departments receive a vast number of calls annually from the healthcare sector, the education sector, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, other social service agencies, families, friends, neighbors and others, expressing concern that individuals or groups might be, or are at risk of becoming, violent extremists. The majority are unwarranted. Yet Norway has, in recent years, experienced that extremists can inflict a great deal of damage, pain, fear and death – not just on individual victims, but on society as a whole. How can the relevant authorities intervene in time to prevent such events from occurring without compromising important democratic values? This book takes a look at how local police perceive and carry out their role in the tremendously complex and demanding field we call ‘concern work’ (bekymringsarbeidet). The police face complicated dilemmas on a daily basis: What is the relationship between extreme behavior and expression, and extremist violence? In healthcare, traditional complex health service systems are increasingly replaced by smart systems that can be monitored and controlled in real time. Intelligent systems equipped with digital technology opportunities have started the “Health 4.0” era in health care fields. The definitions of “Health 4.0” and “Smart Health” are used in parallel with the “Industry 4.0” period, in order to emphasize the cyber-physical determinants of health, symbolizing real-time information provision and access to holistic health care. One of the most important reasons why the concept of smart health has become popular is the concept of big data produced in medicine as well as in all areas of life. The enormous size and variety of data, whether real-time or timestamped, structured or unstructured, continues to grow in healthcare. Clinical artificial intelligence applications, which include more efficient and faster technological solutions in the production of health services, and which aim to increase the health level of individuals and improve their quality of life, are becoming widespread with approaches to improve health services by analyzing health data. In addition to the use of artificial intelligence in the administration of health services, performance and capacity increase, original models are also created in the management of health services. The use of informatics approaches in diagnosis, treatment and care processes, the developments in digital imaging technologies, the use of robotic systems in surgery, the widespread use of modeling and simulation technologies in medical education make a difference in the functioning of health institutions. Despite the disadvantage of high initial investment costs, artificial intelligence technologies in the field of health contribute greatly to measurement, diagnosis, treatment management and follow-up activities with their facilitating and adaptive effects. Although conceptual and technical studies on the future of artificial intelligence applications continue, it is not possible for artificial intelligence systems to display the ability for emotional intelligence, which requires design, adaptation and intuition, and to perform multitasking similar to the human brain. As in the field of informatics, there are still concerns about ethical reasoning responsibility and ethical decision making in artificial intelligence applications in medicine. In the third book of the series published by Istanbul University Press in medical informatics, the applications of medical informatics and artificial intelligence in medicine are discussed with a multidisciplinary approach and broad perspective. In particular, telemedicine and out-of-hospital patient management issues, which allow health service delivery to be provided without time and space limits, are handled with public regulations specific to the coronavirus pandemic period.

Sağlık alanında yapay zekâ teknolojileri, başlangıçtaki yüksek yatırım maliyeti dezavantajına karşın kolaylaştırıcı ve uyumlaştırıcı etkileriyle ölçme, tanılama, tedavi yönetimi ve izlem etkinliklerine büyük katkı sağlamaktadır. Yapay zekâ uygulamalarının geleceğine yönelik kavramsal ve teknik çalışmalar devam etmekle birlikte yapay zekâ sistemlerinin henüz tasarım, adaptasyon ve sezgi gerektiren duygusal zekâya yönelik yetenek sergilemesi, insan beyni benzeri çoklu görevleri gerçekleştirebilmesi söz konusu değildir. Bilişim alanının genelinde olduğu gibi tıpta da yapay zekâ uygulamalarında etik akıl yürütme sorumluluğu ve etik karar verme konularında kaygılar sürmektedir. Tıp bilişimi alanında İstanbul Üniversitesi Yayınevi tarafında yayınlanan serinin üçüncü kitabında da tıp bilişimi ve tıpta yapay zekâ konularının farklı alanlarda uygulamaları multidisipliner yaklaşım ve geniş bakış açısı ile irdelenmektedir. Özellikle sağlık hizmet sunumunun zaman ve mekân sınırı olmaksızın yapılabilmesine olanak tanıyan teletıp ve hastane dışı merkezlerden hasta yönetimi konuları koronavirüs pandemisi dönemine özgü kamusal düzenlemelerle ele alınmaktadır.

    Description: Esse-perfect in Macedonian: lexical distribution and contextual restrictions - The present article deals with the esse-perfect in Macedonian, also found in Aromanian and some Albanian dialects, which is formed with verbs of both aspects by means of the auxiliary sum ‘to be’ plus the (formally) passive participle. In contrast to previous work on this topic, our research sets out to determine the domains of usage for this construction in Macedonian, both in the standard language and its dialects, especially those on the western periphery and in linguistic enclaves surrounded by Albanian-speaking communities. In addition to personal fieldwork, three main corpora serve as a material basis for this task; see the list of sources at the end of the article. The formation of the esse-perfect is rather limited when compared with the other two perfects of Macedonian. In particular, its distribution clearly depends on lexical verb classes, with language contact accounting for less rigid restrictions and a wider usage of this construction.

    Description: Göl, akarsu ve denizler yüzyılları aşan süreden beri çoğunluğu insan kaynaklı olmak üzere çeşitli kirleticilerin baskısı altında bulunmaktadırlar. Özellikle endüstriyel üretimin hız kazandığı 1900’lü yılların ortalarından itibaren bu baskılar daha da artmış birçok su kaynağı kullanılamaz hale gelmiştir. Su kalitesindeki bozulmalar ve iklimsel değişim nedeniyle çok sayıda tür ortadan kalkmış, ya da tükenme noktasına gelmiştir. Ülkemizde de benzer çevresel sorunlar 1950’li yıllardan itibaren görülmeye başlanmıştır. Başta sanayi üretiminin büyük bir kısmının gerçekleştiği Marmara Bölgesindeki deniz ve içsu kaynakları olmak üzere birçok su kaynağı sanayi atıkları, evsel atıklar ve tarımsal kirleticiler ile baş başa bırakılmıştır. Söz konusu kirleticiler nedeniyle en büyük su kalitesi kaybına uğrayan alanların başında ise Marmara Denizi gelmektedir. Marmara Denizi havzası başta ülkemizin en büyük şehri olan İstanbul olmak üzere en büyük şehirlerini barındıran bir iç deniz konumundadır. Göreceli olarak küçük bir alan olmasına rağmen havzada ülke nüfusunun yaklaşık 1/3’ü yaşamaktadır. Havzadaki aşırı nüfus artışı ve kontrolsüz yapılaşma özellikle Marmara Denizi üzerinde büyük bir baskı oluşturmuştur. Uzun yıllar süresince arıtılmadan ya da sadece ön arıtıma tabi tutularak Marmara Denizine verilen atıklar denizin taşıma kapasitesini aşmış, bu nedenle denizde yaşayan birçok canlı türü tamamen ortadan kaybolmuştur. Hatta aşırı kirlenme nedeniyle Marmara Denizi’nin “Doğu Körfez” bölümü uzun yılardan beri balıkçılığa kapatılmıştır. Son zamanlarda Marmara Denizinde ortaya çıkan en önemli ekolojik sorunlardan bir tanesi de yaklaşık 6 ay süren müsilaj artışıdır. Müsilaj Ocak 2021 de başlayıp Haziran 2021’e kadar devam etmiştir. Müsilaj artışının 6 ay gibi uzun bir süre devam etmesi, büyük bir alanda habitat kayıpları yaratması, ekolojik tahribat kadar ekonomik kayıplara neden olması, balıkçılık dahil birçok ekosistem hizmetlerini etkilemesi nedeniyle dünya literatürüne girmiştir. İstanbul Üniversitesi olarak böylesine önemli ekolojik sorunu detaylı bir şekilde araştırmak, sonuçlarını ortaya koymanın gerekliliğine inanarak sadece Marmara Denizi’nde ortaya çıkan müsilaj sorunu ile ilgili çalışmaların yer aldığı 13 bölümden oluşan kitap yayınlamaya karar verdik. Deniz araştırmaları konusunda yaklaşık 80 yıllık deneyime sahip İstanbul Üniversitesinin yayınladığı bu eserin deniz bilimcilere ve karar vericilere başucu kaynağı olmasını diliyoruz.

    Description: This collection of essays covers a hundred-year history of Russian-language literature in Israel, including the pre-state period. Some of the studies are devoted to an overview of the literary process and the activities of its participants, others—to individual genres and movements. As a result, a complex and multifaceted picture emerges of a not quite fully defined, but very lively and dynamic community that develops in the most difficult conditions. The contributors trace the paths of Russian-Israeli prose, poetry and drama, various waves of avant-garde, fantasy, and critical thought. Today, in Russian-Israeli literature, the voices of writers of various generations and waves of repatriation are intertwined: from the "seventies" to the "war aliyah" of the recent times. Both the Russian-Israeli authors and their critics often hold different opinions of their respective roles in Israel’s historical and literary storms. While disagreeing on the definition of their place on the map of modern culture, Russian-Israeli writers are united by a shared bond with the fate of the Jewish state.

    Description: Onomastics and Paradox: Dostoevsky and the Collapse of the Ontological Integrity of Character. Onomastics plays a key role in Dostoevsky’s poetics: the names of most of his characters are essential to their portraits, even though these names rarely signify unambiguously. Moreover, a number of his characters are nameless and a semantic tension arises from this absence: the impossibility of “branding” the hero with a name prevents us from identifying his or her features through verbal onomastic symbolism. The portrait of such characters necessarily remains somewhat murky. It is no coincidence that the “nameless heroes” are the most paradoxical and enigmatic characters of Dostoevsky’s creative world. By denying them names, Dostoevsky seeks to destroy the inner integrity of these heroes, their identity, in order that a living, independent, and contradictory personality emerges in them.

    Description: In her well-known song, ‘Når himmelen faller ned’ (‘When the Sky Falls Down’), the Norwegian musician Anne Grete Preus described snow as ‘celestial tipp-ex’ and a mighty ‘wonder’. But what exactly is it that snow corrects? And what gives snow its power? Snow’s Formulas: A Natural Phenomenon in Literature attempts to answer these and similar questions by discussing the motif of snow in the context of modernization processes marked by increasing instrumentalization and rationalization. Snow transforms landscapes and defies modernity’s innovations; it simultaneously obscures and accentuates, and also enchants. This process can be described in different ways: as the sublime’s breakthrough in a philosophical, aesthetic sense, or, in a poetological sense, as non-mimetic writing. This strategy plays out in language, and the objective of this study has been to investigate snow’s rhetoricity and how literary depictions of snow can be in response to the challenges of modernity. The book includes readings of texts by H.C. Andersen, Olaf Bull, Hans Børli, Paul Celan, Alexander Kielland, Jonas Lie, Tor Ulven and Tarjei Vesaas, among others. The relationship between snow and modernity is illustrated from a dual perspective. Emphasis is placed on the individual’s position and self-perception within the process of modernization, as well as on the aesthetical problems that arise when writing about snow. Snow makes a white surface; it ‘overwrites’ the ground and encourages a non-mimetic poetry. Snow can be said to be an engine of modern aesthetics that does not take language’s referential aspect for granted.

Denne prosessen kan beskrives på forskjellige måter: som det sublimes gjennombrudd i filosofisk-estetisk henseende, eller, i poetologisk henseende, som en form for avrealisering. Denne strategien utspiller seg i språk, og formålet med denne studien er å granske snøens retorisitet og hvordan den litterære fremstillingen av snø svarer på modernitetens utfordringer.     Description: Funny Fathers. Types of the ridiculous old man in Dostoevsky’s novels. The first chapters from Dostoevsky’s novel Netochka Nezvanova deal with the fate and the peculiar story of life of the heroine’s stepfather. He is called Efimov and, being an alcoholic and overconfident, he plunges his family into misery. Therefore, he can be considered a prototype of ridiculous father figures occurring in the great novels (Marmeladov from Crime and Punishment, General Ivolgin from The Idiot and Stepan Trofimovič from The Demons). The article focuses on the determining character traits of these figures who embody the dramatic failure of the father generation. While characterising those laughable vecchi, special attention is given to the seemingly paradox criterium of the tragicomic, which finally results in questioning the tension between freedom and a predetermined fate.

    Description: The Paradox of Female Sexual Desire in Crime and Punishment: On the Question of the Female Breast . This article examines references to the female breast found in Dostoevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment to reveal the contradictory role of female sexuality in his literary world. Despite feminist inclinations and a personal familiarity with “emancipated love,” he had particular difficulty with issues of women’s sexual desire and female corporeality, associating them with danger. He actively suppressed the bodies and desire of physically attractive women in his work. In Crime and Punishment, for ex., both Sonia and Dunia attract male desire, but do not express their own. References to the female breast in his work reveal this deep ambivalence about the female body: now alluring, now menacing, now subject to torture, the breast can also be symbolically maternal or disease-ridden.

Although a smile most often displays joy and pleasure, it sometimes expresses emotions such as sadness, cruelty, anger, etc. This analysis aims to focus on the paradoxical “mistrustful, silent, and evil smile” of A Gentle Creature. Her smile marks the beginning of her life with the Pawnbroker and it is her companion until the end of her life. The paradox of smile illuminates other paradoxes such as that of communication (verbal/nonverbal, communication/its negation), of death (suicide and the icon, destruction/resurrection, silence/birth of words), of the Pawnbroker’s story (author-narrator, narrative/story, fantastic/realistic, contradictions in the story), and of the event (real event/event in the narrator’s mind).

    Description: Accessibility to art and cultural activities is a topic with increasing attention. Most municipalities in the Scandinavian countries have kulturskoler (extra curricular schools of music and performing arts) that offer training and experiences in – and through – art and culture subjects for children and young people. But the users of these institutions are not representative for the society around them. The majority of the children and young people who actually use the kulturskole come from middle-class homes and have well-educated parents. There is therefore an increasing and absolutely necessary attention in the municipalities on how kulturskoler can reach new target groups, ensure more fair representation and develop as institutions being inclusive forces in the local community. The development project ""Kulturskolen as an inclusive force in the local community (KIL)"" had this focus. In this anthology, there are nine independent peer-reviewed research articles with topics that are relevant for those municipalities wanting to develop their potential as inclusive forces further. The book is suitable for both researchers, students or teachers associated with the didactic field of art, but also kulturskole leaders, elementary school teachers and others who are interested in how the kulturskole can function as an inclusive force in the local community
    Description: Tilgjengelighet til kunst og kulturaktivitet er et tema med økende oppmerksomhet. De fleste kommuner i de skandinaviske landene har musikk- og kulturskoler som tilbyr opplæring og opplevelser i og gjennom kunst- og kulturfag for barn og unge. Men kulturskoleelevene avspeiler ikke samfunnet rundt, for størstedelen av de barn og unge som faktisk bruker kulturskolene kommer fra middelklassehjem og har godt utdannede foreldre. Det er derfor et økende og helt nødvendig søkelys på hvordan kulturskolene kan nå nye målgrupper og sikre en bedre representasjon. Utviklingsprosjektet Kulturskolen som inkluderende kraft i lokalsamfunnet (KIL) hadde dette søkelyset. I denne antologien finnes ni selvstendige fagfellevurderte forskningsartikler med tematikk som er relevant for å kunne utvikle dette potensialet videre. Boken passer for både forskere, studenter eller lærere tilknyttet det kunstfagdidaktiske utdanningsfeltet, men også kulturskoleledere, lærere og andre som interesserer seg for hvordan kulturskolen kan bli en inkluderende kraft.

    Description: About Slavonicisms in The Brothers Karamazov. This work draws attention to the function of Slavonicisms in The Brothers Karamazov. In the last dialogue between Kolja Krasotkin and Alesha Karamazov, Kolja’s lines about postmortality or immortality are stylistically limited to the framework of the middle-lower register of Russian and thus exclude any metaphysical component. Alesha’s response, in contrast, is constructed in a Slavonic idiolect that belongs simultaneously to the conventional and to the mythopoetic. Another case of this appeal to the Slavonic register may be found in the dispute between Ivan and the devil regarding the recognition or denial of the incarnation of evil in the world. Claiming incarnation, Satan tries to demonstrate the equivalence of demonic and human nature. The primary instrument deployed in this argument is a Slavonicism, claimed by Satan, but which does not belong to him.

    Description: This anthology is the second in a series of books from the Department of Management and Organization at Kristiania University College. HR in Today’s Working Life builds on the book Leading People in Today’s Working Life (2020). Through its 12 chapters, the book explores such HR- and management-related topics as: global uncertainty, unforeseeable change, crisis management, predictive analysis and scenario thinking, managerial development and management practices, health-oriented self-management, managerial recruitment, new forms of connection in working life, managers’ legal maneuvering room, demographic development and diversity in working life, and the caregiver’s role. The chapters have there starting point in various aspects of current working life. The authors discuss how changes in and around businesses have necessitated an evolved understanding of what influences organizations and people, a need for new HR practices, and new approaches to how managers should exercise their role. The book builds on central dimensions of HR and management as research fields: • Good management and a good working life in Norway are best developed through an understanding of the Norwegian context. • Good HR and managerial practice are based on solid insight into how an organisation's resource and capability needs are influenced by both internal factors and external changes. • Implicit in fostering a good working life is having a conscious relationship to the global factors and trends that are drivers of change that in turn affect organisations, work, people and managers. The book's 17 authors are forward-thinking Norwegian researchers and professionals in their fields. Each chapter explores themes, issues and concepts with the goal of offering new insights into research and practice in the Norwegian context. The authors contribute to research-based knowledge development in working life today through theoretical, conceptual and empirical studies. The book is therefore aimed at researchers and students, as well as specialists and managers with an interest in HR, organization and management. HR in Today’s Working Life has been edited by Andreas N. Thon (senior lecturer in management, organisation and HR at Kristiania University College), Laura E. M. Traavik (associate professor in organization and management at Kristiania University College) and Kjetil A. Vedøy (lecturer at the Department of Management and Organisation, Kristiania University College).

HR i møte med det nye arbeidslivet bygger videre på boken Ledelse av mennesker i det nye arbeidslivet (2020). Boken tar gjennom 12 kapitler for seg HR- og ledelsesrelaterte temaer knyttet til blant annet global usikkerhet, uforutsigbare endringer, kriseledelse, prediktive analyser og scenariotenkning, utvikling av ledere og ledelsespraksis, helsefremmende selvledelse, lederrekruttering, nye tilknytningsformer i arbeidslivet, leders juridiske handlingsrom i konflikt, demografisk utvikling og mangfold i arbeidslivet, og utvikling av pårørenderollen. Kapitlene tar utgangspunkt i perspektiver om det nye arbeidslivet.     Description: Verbal aspect in the Macedonian dialect of Boboshtica-Drenova and Albanian-Slavic language contact - Long-term subdominant bilingualism with Albanian has had a significant impact on verbal aspect marking in the Macedonian dialect of Boboshtica-Drenova (South-East Albania). The Slavic formal opposition of perfective and imperfective aspect marked through a variety of derivational methods has been preserved. However, under Albanian influence two continuous aspect con­structions have been grammaticalised in the dialect, one of them based on the locative ǵe, and the other on the adversative conjunction toko. The paths of grammaticalization of these markers are investigated, which include structural transfer (ǵe 〈 locative and temporal tek, toko 〈 adversative and continuous po), which is partially supported by the phonetic similarity between the respective Albanian and Macedonian dialectal markers (toko || duke, tek).

    Description: How are school meals organized in the Scandinavian countries? And in what ways can new pedagogical practice lead to better school meal programs for students and a better understanding of the importance, for health and sustainable development, of the food offered through schools? Learning Through Food and Meals in Primary School takes a look at school meal programs in Denmark, Sweden and Norway with the objective of providing educators and teacher-education students an understanding of school meals from public health and nutritional perspectives, as well as a sense of the potential for teaching through school meals. The book is written in Danish, Swedish and Norwegian, and is structured in three parts, presenting new research from each of the three countries. Thematically, the chapters range from studies of different school meal initiatives to analyses of the social, democratic, and pedagogical significance of school meals. Through the different contributions, the book presents both experiences of how teaching through food can be done in a practical sense and an argument for its importance in an overall pedagogical and didactic perspective. The book will be relevant for anyone who is interested in food and meals served in primary schools, such as teachers, researchers, politicians and school administrators. The authors include researchers, educators and primary school administrators. Learning Through Food and Meals in Primary School has been edited by Dorte Ruge (UCL University College, Denmark), Frøydis Nordgård Vik (University of Agder, Norway), and Johanna Björklund and Sara Frödén (Örebro University, Sweden).
