Translation of abstract:
The materials of the XII session of the Scientific Council on the tectonics of Siberia and the Far East, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution (Krasnoyarsk, 1977), are presented. General issues of tectonics of oil and gas bearing areas are considered, and relevant specific materials on individual regions of Siberia and the Far East are presented. New ideas about the regional tectonics of the West Siberian Plate, the Siberian Platform, the Aldan Shield, and the northwestern part of the Pacific Belt are presented.
The collection is designed for a wide audience.
