    Beschreibung: Los suelos urbanos han sido y son motivo de estudio por parte de investigadores que tratan de aportar soluciones y líneas de trabajo para mejorar las formas de vida y la calidad de nuestro entorno. Así este trabajo parte, por un lado, del interés de un grupo de investigación que, desde años, ha puesto su mirada sobre el estado, condiciones funcionales y desarrollo de los suelos urbanos industriales que, hoy en día, se suman al concepto más amplio de AAE (empresariales, logísticas, comerciales o de desarrollo científico, tecnológico, ) y, por otro, del interés de la Administración Pública Provincial, la Diputación de Valencia, que, en este caso, ha apostado por la mejora permanente de las AAE en su marco territorial. Esta obra forma parte de una serie de tres volúmenes, donde el trabajo o se plantea como una colección de documentos con una temática general común, la renovación de las áreas de actividad económica. La lectura de los diferentes trabajos se puede realizar de forma individual, entendiendo cada volumen como un estudio específico de una determinada AAE de un municipio concreto, y también, como un ejemplo representativo de un ámbito urbanístico con unas características territoriales, urbanas, paisajísticas o de infraestructura concretas, que pueden servir como referencia a otros municipios con elementos en un contexto similar

One of its products was a lecture in the Psychology program of the same name of this publication, in the form of a conversation that brought together different specialists to discuss the topic. These same specialists were invited to elaborate the pages of this book, and others were invited to broaden the discussion. A work conceived and written by several hands.

Estado actual de conservación".En aquella primera publicación se trataba de plasmar en un formato perdurable los contenidos de la exposición homónima realizada en la UPV -entre el 15 de diciembre de 2014 y 15 de enero de 2015-, fruto de las investigaciones realizadas hasta dicha fecha.Se trataba también de exponer el estado de conocimiento alcanzado sobre el conjunto de teatros romanos de Hispania, como base de datos de la que partir, con los artículos que acompañaban el contenido de la exposición.A finales de 2015 se reunió a los técnicos que en los últimos años han trabajado y en bastantes casos siguen trabajando en la conservación y restauración de varios de los más trascendentales teatros romanos objeto de nuestra investigación, de manera que fuesen ellos mismos los que expusieran sus intervenciones y estudios realizados.

La vieja frase de Hobbes es interesante para guiar nuestras reflexiones en la contemporaneidad: “Pactos sin las medidas coercitivas, no son más que palabras”. Tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial no se siguió un período de paz, sino que la Guerra Fría y el establecimiento de un complejo-militar-industrial (Arendt, 1970). Karl Marx (2010) en el 18 Brumario de Luis Bonaparte afirmaba que los acontecimientos históricos se pasan dos veces en la Historia: una como tragedia y la segunda como farsa. Es precisamente sobre esa segunda fase o repetición de los acontecimientos históricos que se trata este libro. La idea de intentar hacer una aproximación a los estudios de la realidad del siglo XXI en respecto a la estética de la violencia, entendiendo esa estética como la presentación de esa violencia particular de la contemporaneidad con sus instrumentos facilitadores, con sus discursos y sus prácticas que posibilitan la naturalización de una política castradora de derechos. ¿Esta estética de la violencia en nuestra contemporaneidad se porta de manera similar a la estética de procesos históricos anteriores? Bastide (2006) cuando analiza la estética argumenta que la sociedad moldea la reacción frente a ella, y de igual forma aquí la sociedad moldea las prácticas de la violencia, sobre todo cuando analizamos la violencia y su relación con las cuestiones de género. La violencia de género es practicada igualmente por la sociedad.

Entre ellas, el diseño de humedales artificiales es uno de los temas más habituales. Los humedales artificiales son sistemas de tratamiento que se pueden emplear para depurar distintos tipos de aguas residuales o contaminadas. En esta guía se recogen los principales criterios de diseño, recomendados en manuales internacionales y nacionales, realizando un énfasis especial en el porqué de éstos. La explicación de los criterios de diseño viene acompañada de ejercicios y ejemplos, para ayudar al lector a lograr una mejor comprensión.

The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: This book is the partial result of a research project called "Female electoral candidacies transformed into marketing products and fake news against female candidates: a comparative analysis between Brazil, Colombia and Mexico". The growing female participation in decision making in Latin America invites us to read with more patience and caution the phenomenon of the emergence of a type of feminization of politics. Two countries with trajectories marked by political scandals and corruption, such as Brazil and Mexico, show that if it was difficult for women to become protagonists as political subjects - note the feminist movements of the 70s, 80s and 90s and the recent achievements in terms of public policies for the protection of women - it is not very difficult to understand the difficulty that these women faced and still face to become protagonists in the political scenario of their countries, i.e. political actors. Therefore, this book reveals only some aspects of the political path that these women must face on a daily basis in order to gain access to spaces of power.

    Beschreibung: Este libro es el resultado parcial de un proyecto de investigación llamado “Las candidaturas electorales femeninas transformadas en producto de mercadeo y las fake news contra candidatas mujeres: un análisis comparado entre Brasil, Colombia y México”. La creciente participación femenina en la tomada de decisiones en América Latina nos invita a leer con más paciencia y cautela el fenómeno del surgimiento de un tipo de feminización de la política. Dos países con trayectorias marcadas en escándalos y corrupciones políticas como lo son Brasil y México evidencian que si a las mujeres les fue dificultado el camino para su protagonismo como sujeta política, nótese los movimientos feministas de los años 70, 80 y 90 y las recientes conquistas en términos de políticas públicas de protección a las mujeres, no es muy difícil de comprender la dificultad que esas mujeres enfrentaron y enfrentan para tornarse protagonistas del escenario político de sus países, es decir, actoras políticas. Por lo tanto, este libro revela solamente algunos aspectos del camino político al que esas mujeres deben enfrentarse cotidianamente para acceder a los espacios de poder.

    Beschreibung: The Escuela Red de Formación Ciudadana para la Participación is a collaborative learning initiative, where knowledge, experiences and learning are exchanged with the aim of contributing to increase the impact of participation through training. Since its birth in 2015, it was conceived with the intention of providing higher quality citizen training, in order to achieve sustainable impacts and better results in the processes of transformation of the territories. The Network School is a scenario that promotes the construction of a democratic culture based on inclusion, respect, horizontality and dialogue, linking various actors (public servants, academia, social leaders, observers, trainers, social and community organizations, compensation funds and members of other social networks in the City) in order to weave links for cooperation, trust and under the connecting thread that drives to find together better ways to make pedagogy for participation and influence in the territory.

Los artesonados son la obra magna vinculada a este lenguaje y, por sus características, exige un acercamiento que parta desde la idea de la multidisciplinariedad, es decir, desde los posibles ámbitos implicados en su estudio: conservación y restauración; historia del arte; constructiva, compositiva y estructural; química y desde las técnicas analíticas; iconográfica e iconológica; carpinteril y lígneo; etc. En el presente libro surgen varios capítulos de naturaleza eminentemente técnica, que giran en torno al desarrollo terminológico, los procesos constructivos, los tratamientos de las techumbres, los desencadenantes de alteraciones y los daños de este bien patrimonial, además de un glosario específico y una bibliografía ejemplar. Todos estos aspectos pueden ser extrapolados a las armaduras de los diferentes territorios en los que el mudéjar alcanzó difusión y desarrollo. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: The purpose of this book is to incite a series of reflections on the subjective tensions and discourses of Law in a postmodern society where the act of existing advocates a liquidity between pragmatism supported by the values of consumption as an existential fetish that imprisons existence itself, and anyone who is outside this chain of consumption loses the very character of humanity - legitimized through the logic of consumption. In this moment of narcissism the subject is created - trapped in his own image constructed in front of others with the need to be appreciated and the object of consumption-fetish of his equals. Whoever cannot consume, whoever is outside the chain of consumption loses his status of "citizen"... citizenship contemplates those who are immersed in the game of consumption. This "fetish of capital" (Bautista, 2017) that produces an idolatry towards utopian values and sacrifices social coexistence itself in the name of an economic model, does not admit any other form of development and propitiates moral discourses where those who are absent from the policies of these discourses are marginalized. Is Law as a regulatory discipline - in Foucauldian terms - a participant in this fetishist logic, once this discipline regulates (Foucault, 2012) social relations?

    Beschreibung: Este libro tiene como propuesta incitar a una serie de reflexiones sobre las tensiones subjetivas y los discursos del Derecho en una sociedad posmoderna donde el acto de existir preconiza una liquidez entre el pragmatismo respaldado por los valores del consumo como fetiche existencial que aprisiona la existencia misma, y todo aquel que se encuentra al margen de esa cadena de consumo pierde el propio carácter de humanidad – legitimada a través de esa lógica del consumo. En este momento de narcisismo se crea el sujeto-atrapado en su propia imagen construida delante de los demás con la necesidad de ser apreciado y objeto de consumo-fetiche de sus iguales. Quien no puede consumir, quien está fuera de la cadena de consumo pierde su status de “ciudadano”… la ciudadanía contempla los que están inmersos en el juego del consumo. Ese “fetiche del capital” (Bautista, 2017) que produce una idolatría hacia valores utópicos y sacrifica la propia convivencia social en nombre de un modelo económico, no admite otra forma de desarrollo y propicia discursos morales donde los que están ausentes de las políticas de esos discursos son marginados. ¿Acaso el Derecho como disciplina regulatoria – en términos foucaultianos – es partícipe de esa lógica fetichista, una vez que esa disciplina normatiza (Foucault, 2012) las relaciones sociales?

In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: When reading "Un Atlántico: some stories of resilience", it is impossible not to feel the heart ache at the thought of the pain still felt by its protagonists; but, at the same time, the feeling of admiration is immense. They are people who, despite the circumstances, have an unthinkable capacity to overcome adversity and rise from the ashes. For this reason, he began by highlighting the title of the book. There is nothing better than using the word resilience to pay tribute to the victims of the horror of war, of discrimination, of society itself, of our country; with whom, without knowing it, we cross paths all the time. We are a country whose people have an unparalleled capacity to overcome negative events that would sink anyone. And, although it sounds like a cliché phrase, the country of Macondo is also the country of resilience. It is enough to read the stories narrated in this book.

Son personas que, pese a las circunstancias, tienen una capacidad impensable para superar la adversidad y renacer de las cenizas. Por ello, inició resaltando el título del libro. Nada mejor que usar la palabra resiliencia para homenajear a las víctimas del horror de la guerra, de la discriminación, de la sociedad misma, de nuestro país; con las cuales, sin saberlo, nos cruzamos todo el tiempo. Somos un país cuya gente tiene una capacidad sin igual para superar sucesos negativos que hundirían a cualquiera. Y, aunque suene a frase de cliché, el país de Macondo también es el país de la resiliencia. Es suficiente con leer las historias narradas en este libro.

Es una propuesta encaminada a preservar la memoria profunda de este tipo de espacios, un patrimonio que está presente en su imagen material, en la arquitectura y en el paisaje, pero que lo trasciende.

The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Beschreibung: After the signing of the peace agreement between the government and the FARC guerrilla in 2016, Colombia must face new challenges posed by the post-conflict and peacebuilding. This initiative brought together professors and practitioners who have been working on the issues of conflict and peace from different perspectives. This book counted with the participation of academics and experienced professionals from different areas of knowledge such as law, political science, history and psychology for the approach from different perspectives of this transcendental topic for the country. One of the main challenges analyzed in this work is the need to rewrite the history of the conflict and include voices that have traditionally been absent. It proposes a change in the narratives of the Colombian armed conflict towards other revisionist and critical ones.

    Beschreibung: Conservation is a state of harmony between Man and the Earth" is a phrase associated with Aldo Leopold (1887-1948) American environmentalist and with which I wish to approach this important work entitled "THE ROLE OF RENEWABLE ENERGIES IN THE COLOMBIAN ENERGY MATRIX" that I am honored to prologue and with whose publication the Master, Eng. René Ramírez Fernández, of notable academic experience, in his role as Coordinator and one of the authors of the book, achieves in the compilation that the researchers show their awareness for the care of the environment and their visible concern for the abuse of non-renewable energies advocating, with scientific argument, for an energy balance for Colombia, promoting an energy transition, for the use of renewable energies and the use of biodigesters for the reduction of the carbon footprint. It should be noted that each of the contributions that you will find in the book are the result of research that has had as a starting point the collection of information, the analysis of real statistical data and the use of a methodology that ensures that the conclusions that are socialized in each of the four chapters of the book are important contributions that have a scientific support.

René Ramírez Fernández, de notable experiencia académica, en su rol de Coordinador y uno de los autores del libro, consigue en la compilación que los investigadores evidencien su sensibilización por el cuidado del medio ambiente y su visible preocupación por el abuso de las energías no renovables abogando, con argumento científico, por un balance energético para Colombia, promoviendo una transición energética, por el uso de energías renovables y el uso de biodigestores para la reducción de la huella de carbono. Es de relevar que cada uno de los aportes que encontrará en el libro son el resultado de investigaciones que han tenido como punto de partida la recopilación de información, el análisis de datos estadísticos reales y el empleo de una metodología que garantiza que las conclusiones que se socializan en cada uno de los cuatro capítulos del libro son aportes importantes que cuentan con un sustento científico.

Esta situación ha sido examinada y estudiada por diversos organismos, que han expuesto la realidad de muchas familias en la ciudad de València.En esta línea se presenta este libro que supone un estudio de las medidas que se podrían considerar rehabilitaciones exprés. Se analiza cómo afectan los distintos cambios que podrían realizarse en viviendas modelo y qué resultados se derivan de los mismos, permitiendo establecer una dirección clara a seguir para mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos con más dificultades.
