    Description: "The Politics of Trauma and Integrity uses the lenses of gender and trauma to tell the stories of narratives testified by two contrasting Japanese “comfort women” survivors. Through an innovative interdisciplinary study of the politics of gendered memory and trauma in historical context, with numerous primary sources for analysis including diaries, interviews, letters and oral testimonies, this book uncovers the life-or-death struggles of Japanese survivors in pursuit of public recognition as the victims of state violence against women. It is set within a gender history of modern Japan, supplemented by feminist activist methodology premised upon political agency that seeks social justice. The author’s analysis draws upon three key concepts: trauma, coherence of the self, and integrity. Focusing upon the role of gender and trauma as the nexus between memory construction and identity formation in modern Japan, the author reveals these women’s relentless quest for their recovery and creation of new identities. This book provides a better understanding of the victims of sexual violence and encourages readers to listen to the voice of trauma, as well as making a significant contribution to the existing research on the ongoing history of sexual violence against women in Japan, the rest of Asia and beyond. It will be of interest to scholars, researchers, activists and all who are interested in the issue of women’s human rights. It provides supplementary reading and research material for history and politics courses relating to Japan and East Asia, memory, identity, trauma, gender, war and feminist activism.     Description: Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika 2017 prinaša sodoben jezikovni opis izseka večplastne in kompleksne jezikovne realnosti slovenskega jezika glede na jezikovno rabo, izkazano v raznovrstnih sodobnih, predvsem korpusnih, gradivskih virih. V okviru 521 slovarskih sestavkov, ki jih na makrostrukturni ravni uvaja enobesedna iztočnica, so celovito in sistematično opisane pomenske, slovnične, pragmatične in druge lastnosti eno- in večbesednih nefrazeoloških in frazeoloških leksikalnih enot. Slovarska zasnova je natančneje prikazana v Konceptu novega razlagalnega slovarja slovenskega knjižnega jezika, ki so ga leta 2015 potrdili in sprejeli Znanstveni svet Inštituta za slovenski jezik Frana Ramovša ZRC SAZU, Znanstveni svet ZRC SAZU, Razred za filološke in literarne vede SAZU in Predsedstvo SAZU.

    Description: Knjiga prinaša izbor člankov, ki jih je avtorica objavila med letoma 1973 in 1996 v raznih periodičnih publikacijah. Del besedil obravnava slavistično, zlasti slovenistično problematiko in znotraj te predvsem jezik Brižinskih spomenikov, del pa indoiranistično, tudi v povezavi s slavistično, vse pa v luči diahronega jezikoslovja. Razvrstiti jih je mogoče v naslednje skupine: (1) etimološko, v kateri so z etimološkega stališča prvič, na novo ali dodatno osvetljene posamezne besede, (2) slovnično, v kateri so obravnavani posamezni glasovni in oblikoslovni pojavi, (3) besedila s problematiko predzgodovinskih slovansko-iranskih jezikovnih stikov in (4) besedila, ki obravnavajo problematiko slovenskosti Brižinskih spomenikov. Besedila so razvrščena po takem kronološkem redu, kot so izhajali izvirni članki. Knjigi sledita dva dodatka, in sicer seznam uporabljene literature z naslovom Združeni viri in Kazalo izbranih besed oblik in morfemov.

    Description: The monograph ('Lipalja Vas and Its Slovenian Speech') presents a detailed and methodologically sophisticated description of the Zilja local dialect of Slovenian as spoken by its last speakers in the northwestern most part of the Slovenian ethnic territory.The introductory contribution ('Lipalja Vas 200 Years Ago: The Home of Kovači, Trinki and Temmli') authored by a historian and writer Vlado Klemše portrays Lipalja vas at the beginning of the 19th century on the basis of toponyms from the Franciscean cadastre. Karmen Kenda-Jež’s contribution ('Spoken Texts from Lipalja Vas'), which was prepared in collaboration with Robert Grošelj and Vera Smole, is the first detailed linguistic analysis of the Slovenian local dialect of Lipalja vas. It provides a commented selection of texts recorded at the research camp in 2005 written in Slovenian dialect transcription.
    Description: Monografija prinaša podroben in metodološko izdelan jezikoslovni opis slovenskega ziljskega govora zadnjih govorcev na skrajnem severozahodnem robu slovenskega etničnega ozemlja. Uvodni prispevek Vlada Klemšeta na podlagi zemljepisnih krajevnih in ledinskih imen iz franciscejskega katastra predstavlja podobo Lipalje vasi v začetku 19. stoletja. Prispevek Karmen Kenda-Jež, ki je nastal v sodelovanju z Robertom Grošljem in Vero Smole, pomeni prvo podrobnejšo jezikoslovno obravnavo slovenskega govora Lipalje vasi (komentiran izbor besedil). Skozi pripovedi informantov, vseh treh v vasi rojenih maternih govorcev slovenskega jezika, se odstira pogled v organiziranost družinskega in vaškega življenja sredi in konec 20. stoletja. Študija Roberta Grošlja opisuje skladnjo slovenskega koroškega ziljskega govora v Lipalji vasi na temelju skladenjskega dela vprašalnice za OLA. Analiza gradivsko temelji na pogovorih, posnetih v Lipalji vasi v letih 2000 in 2005. Monografijo sklene prispevek Mateja Šeklija, ki prinaša etimološko razlago in seznam slovenskih hišnih imen ter poimenovanj hišnih gospodarjev in gospodinj po starih hišnih številkah.

    Description: The authors of the volume ('From May ’68 to November ’89: Transformations of the World, Literature, and Theory') intervene in the study of the student movement’s “rehearsal” for a world revolution and its afterlife in the 1980s and 1990s by addressing two hitherto neglected aspects – the literary and the peripheral. They consider the roles played by the (semi-)periphery of the modern world-system, on the one hand, and modernist literature and theory, on the other, in transforming the existing world order in the fields of culture, politics, economy, and everyday life. How were critical theory and neo-avant-garde literature in the world, in Slovenia, and in Yugoslavia intertwined with the student protest that advocated the transformation of the capitalist world-system and its socialist counterpart? The monograph focuses on the processes that connected the events of 1968 and 1989 in the social, literary, and theoretical spheres in the sign of continuity and turning points, and at the same time defined our contemporary world.

    Description: Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika 2016 je elektronska izdaja, ki predstavlja leksikografski in teoretski doprinos temeljnega informativno-normativnega enojezičnega razlagalnega slovarja slovenskega jezika. Novi slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika je temeljni informativno-normativni enojezični razlagalni slovar slovenskega jezika srednjega obsega, ki opisuje jezikovno stanje in pojmovni svet sodobnega slovenskega jezika, interpretirana glede na jezikovno rabo, izkazano v raznovrstnih sodobnih, predvsem korpusnih, gradivskih virih. V okviru njegovih slovarskih sestavkov, ki jih na makrostrukturni ravni uvaja enobesedna iztočnica, so celovito in sistematično opisane pomenske, slovnične, pragmatične in druge lastnosti eno- in večbesednih nefrazeoloških in frazeoloških leksikalnih enot. Slovar je izdelan povsem na novo in je v skladu s sodobno leksikografsko prakso oblikovan primarno za uporabo v spletnem okolju in drugih digitalnih okoljih. Jezikovni podatki so v njem opisani, organizirani in prikazani tako, da bi bil slovar čim bolj uporaben in razumljiv.

    Description: In the years 1899–1901, Karel Štrekelj (1859–1912) held a course on Slovenian literature at the University of Graz. These are the first university lectures on Slovenian literature in the Slovenian language, published in two volumes. However, Štrekelj's history is more than this: it is a monumental, classically balanced synthesis of all the former knowledge of Slovenian literature, given against rich historical, social, and linguistic backgrounds.It is the first series of university lectures in the Slovenian language on the topic of Slovenian literature. The volumes of manuscript contain a complete overview of Slovenian literature from Brižinski spomeniki (The Freising Manuscripts) to Gregorčič. Štrekelj’s lectures are a landmark in the development of Slovenian studies, both from the point of view of university teaching and from the perspective of the fundamental works of Slovenian literary history.
    Description: Karel Štrekelj (1859–1912) je v slovenski humanistiki znamenit zlasti kot narodopisec in jezikoslovec, manj pa je znan kot literarni zgodovinar. Na univerzi v Gradcu pa je imel Štrekelj v štirih semestrih ob prelomu stoletja (1899–1901) predavanja o slovenski literaturi Zgodovina slovenskega slovstva I–IV. To je monumentalno, toda doslej skoraj neopaženo delo slovenske literarne zgodovine. Ohranjeno je v štirih rokopisnih zvezkih, ki skupaj obsegajo čez 1.200 strani skrbno napisanega besedila. Gre za prva univerzitetna predavanja o slovenski literaturi v slovenskem jeziku. Zvezki rokopisa vsebujejo popoln pregled slovenske književnosti od Brižinskih spomenikov do Gregorčiča. Štrekljeva predavanja so mejnik v razvoju slovenistike tako glede univerzitetnega poučevanja kakor z gledišča temeljnih del slovenske literarne zgodovine. Pričujoča znanstvena izdaja (zvezka I–II, od srednjega veka do razsvetljenstva) prinaša to obširno, dotlej najboljšo literarno zgodovino iz rokopisa v javnost – v počastitev stoletnice smrti Karla Štreklja, slovenskega filološkega klasika.

    Description: Bell ringing and bell chiming are presenting a valuable part of Slovenian cultural heritage, which is reflected in an extremely rich vocabulary that is part of our everyday reality and communication. The dictionary brings about 1035 expressions from the fields of amateur and professional engagement with bell ringing and bell chiming. It unveils the bells as a versatile musical instrument of cultural, ethnomusicological, artistic and also, in the case of older bells, of historical value. In addition to the modern terms, it contains some past terms, as well as many dialectal words, including the ones from vocabulary of Slovenians living in the neighboring countries. The monolingual design of the explanatory terminological dictionary is exceeded by the addition of English equivalents and the English-Slovene dictionary. This enables that also international scholars and bell experts gets acquainted with the special features of Slovenian bell ringing and bell chiming. The dictionary is intended for professionals from different fields of science, as well as for bell ringing experts, bell chimers, as well as everyone attracted by the sounds of our soundscapes. The authors of the dictionary would like to encourage new research of this kind, and especially would like that campanology gets appropriate position in the field of profession and science in Slovenia and abroad.
    Description: Zvonjenje in pritrkavanje sta dragoceni del slovenske kulturne dediščine, kar se kaže v izjemno bogatem izrazju, ki je odraz vpetosti pojmov v stvarnosti. Slovar prinaša 1035 izrazov s področij ljubiteljskega in strokovnega ukvarjanja z zvonjenjem in pritrkavanjem. Zvonove razkriva kot vsestransko glasbilo kulturne, etnomuzikološke, umetniške in v primerih, ko gre za zvonove starejše letnice, tudi zgodovinske vrednosti. Poleg sodobnega izrazja, med katerimi je veliko narečnih besed, delno prinaša pretekle izraze, sega pa tudi v slovenski zamejski prostor. Enojezičnost razlagalnega terminološkega slovarja je presežena z dodanimi angleškimi ustreznicami in z obrnjenim angleško-slovenskim slovarjem. S tem se ponuja možnost, da se s posebnostmi slovenskega zvonjenja in pritrkavanja seznanijo tudi poznavalci v mednarodnem prostoru. Slovar je namenjen strokovnjakom z vseh raznovrstnih področij, ki jih zvonjenje vsebuje, ljubiteljem zvonjenja in pritrkavanja, pritrkovalcem samim in drugim, ki jih privlačijo zvoki naših zvočnih krajin. Želeti je, da bi slovar spodbudil nove tovrstne raziskave in da bi zvonoslovje dobilo ustrezno mesto v okviru stroke in znanosti.

    Description: Vigília Lula Livre. Um movimento de resistência e solidariedade aborda múltiplas facetas de um coletivo social que construiu um poderoso modo de resistência política e cultural acompanhando o ex-presidente Luiz Inácio "Lula" da Silva da vizinhança imediata da prisão. A Vigília Lula Livre foi estabelecida espontaneamente em 7 de abril de 2018 em frente à sede da Polícia Federal em Curitiba. Naquela noite, militantes de esquerda, partidários e partidárias que apoiavam o ex-presidente foram reprimidos pela polícia. Em vez de se sentirem intimidados, estabeleceram um acampamento na rua por cem dias. Então, começaram a organizar manifestações culturais e políticas para expressar sua solidariedade e construir um processo de resistência política original. A Vigília Lula Libre durou 580 dias, desde o momento em que Lula foi preso até sua libertação em 8 de novembro de 2019, deixando centenas de ensinamentos e se inscrevendo na longa tradição de lutas populares no Brasil e na América Latina.

    Description: The monograph ('General Monolingual Dictionaries of the Slavic Languages') provides an overview of the more prominent dictionary typologies, and an overview of general monolingual Slavic language dictionaries created from 1945 untill the present. The analysis presents how dictionary elements of selected dictionaries are treated at the macrostructural and microstructural level. For selected elements (homonymy and homography, multi-word headwords, sub-entries, grammatical information, referential definition type, multi-word lexical units and etymological information), suggestions for further lexicographical practice are given. The standpoint of these suggestions is that a dictionary serves as a representation of a lexicon and as a practical tool, which should effectively and transparently deliver reliable and relevant linguistic data and to a lesser extent non-linguistic data. The suggestions also take into account the completed transition from the initial print dictionary to the initial electronic dictionary, which to a certain extent requires reallocation of the data and to a lesser extent reorganization of data hierarchy.
    Description: Monografija prinaša pregled vidnejših slovarskih tipologij, pregled splošnih enojezičnih slovanskih slovarjev, nastalih od 1945 do danes. Analiza prikazuje obravnavo slovarskih prvin na makrostrukturni in mikrostrukturni ravni. Za izbrane elemente (homonimija in homografija, večbesedne iztočnice, podgesla, slovnični podatki, sklicevalni tip razlage, večbesedne leksikalne enote in etimološki podatki) so podani predlogi za nadaljnjo slovaropisno prakso. Izhodišče teh predlogov je slovar kot jezikovni opis besedja in kot praktični pripomoček, ki naj kar se da učinkovito in pregledno prinaša zanesljive in relevantne jezikovne in, v manjši meri, tudi nejezikovne podatke, pri predlogih pa je upoštevan tudi zaključen prehod od izhodiščno knjižne podobe slovarja k izhodiščno digitalni podobi slovarja, kar do določene mere zahteva prerazporeditev slovarskih podatkov, v manjši meri pa tudi preureditev njihove hierarhije.

    Description: The goal of the monograph ('Web texts and language on the Web (the case of blogs and Wikipedia in the Slovenian language)') entitled Web texts and language on the Web (the case of blogs and Wikipedia in the Slovenian language) is to give an overview, as complete as possible, of the topic of web texts, although its main part is limited to blog and Wikipedia texts, where, as it turns out, there is a need for placing the topic into a broader context of electronic texts. The first chapter treats the circumstances of the formation of the Web and its definition in relation to the Internet and other electronic media. In the second chapter, corpus and dictionary are presented in relation to the Web, especially in terms of web corpora, the current role of web search engines is discussed, as well as the use of the Web in lexicography. The third and the largest part of the monograph includes a detailed analysis of Slovenian language and texts, especially of the selected material obtained from blogs and Wikipedia.
    Description: Cilj znanstvene monografije je čim celovitejši pregled nad tematiko spletnih besedil, čeprav je osrednja obravnava namenjena besedilom blogov in Wikipedije, pri čemer je, kot se izkaže, nujna umestitev v širši okvir elektronskih besedil. V prvem poglavju so predstavljene okoliščine nastanka spleta ter njegova opredelitev v razmerju do interneta in drugih elektronskih medijev. V drugem poglavju sta predstavljena korpus in slovar v povezavi s spletom, predvsem glede na to, kaj so spletni korpusi, kakšno vlogo prevzemajo danes spletni iskalniki, ter glede na rabo spleta v slovaropisju. Tretji, najobsežnejši del pričujoče monografije obsega podrobnejšo analizo jezika in besedil, predvsem izbranega gradiva z blogov in Wikipedije.

    Description: The purpose of the treatise is to present arguments for supplementing and changing orthographic rules and, at the same time, for confirming their adequacy. It is particularly questions on language use raised in public that draw attention to flaws in existing rules, to problems with interpreting them and to new, not yet recorded uses. The treatise comprises findings of 18 authors.
    Description: Namen monografije je predstaviti utemeljitve za dopolnitve in spremembe pravopisnih pravil, hkrati pa tudi za potrditev njihove ustreznosti. Pravopisna problematika se je po obdobju kritik ob izidu SP 2001 v zadnjem desetletju umaknila v ozadje in nova vprašanja niso bila več strokovno tematizirana v tolikšni meri, kot smo bili vajeni v preteklih obdobjih, čeprav ostajajo enako pereča. Zlasti javno zastavljena jezikovna vprašanja opozarjajo na pomanjkljivosti obstoječih pravil, na težave pri njihovem interpretiranju in na nove, še ne evidentirane položaje rabe. Monografijo, v kateri je svoja spoznanja strnilo 18 avtorjev, sestavljajo trije vsebinski sklopi: prispevki prvega sklopa umeščajo pravopisni dogovor v širše družbeno okolje, v drugem avtorji iščejo odgovore na posamezna tradicionalna, a še vedno odprta pravopisna vprašanja. V tretjem sklopu je odprto vprašanje posredništva in posrednikov pravopisa, terminologije, pravorečnih ter onomastičnih vprašanj v pravopisu. Iz prispevkov v monografiji je razvidna težnja po posodobitvi pravopisnih smernic, po večji avtentičnosti jezikovnega gradiva in odprtosti do že uveljavljenih slogovnih možnosti.

Predlog novega pravopisnega pravila, ki na spletu še ni objavljen, spremlja različno število gradivskih ponazoritev – odvisno od tipa problemskega sklopa. Vsak opis problemskega sklopa ali pravopisne kategorije predstavlja vez med starim in novim pravopisnim predpisom, torej podatke o morebitnih spremembah, navezavo na pravopisno pravilo, opis geslovnika in podobno.

Hvordan leser og skaper de tekster, og hvordan bidrar dette til å utruste dem til å bli gode lærere i fremtidens skole Utgangspunktet for denne boka er forskningsprosjektet DigiGLU som har undersøkt tekstpraksiser og medieringsformer i grunnskolelærerutdanninga (GLU) etter reformen i 2010. Spesielt har forskerne vært opptatt av hvilken rolle digitale medier og multimodale tekster spiller i lærerstudentenes arbeid. Digitale medier byr på nye muligheter for å kombinere skrift med bilder og lyd, for aktiv respons, interaktiv utprøving og sosial samhandling. Det har vært satset stort på digitalt utstyr i høyere utdanning gjennom en årrekke, men arbeidsformene har ikke forandret seg tilsvarende. I denne boka analyserer forfatterne konkrete arbeidskrav og trekker inn studentenes refleksjoner omkring hvordan tekster og medier fungerer i læringsprosesser i ulike fag.     Description: Slovar slovenskega knjižnega jezika 2019 prinaša sodoben jezikovni opis izseka večplastne in kompleksne jezikovne realnosti slovenskega jezika glede na jezikovno rabo, izkazano v raznovrstnih sodobnih, predvsem korpusnih, gradivskih virih. V okviru 500 slovarskih sestavkov, ki jih na makrostrukturni ravni uvaja enobesedna iztočnica, so celovito in sistematično opisane pomenske, slovnične, pragmatične in druge lastnosti eno- in večbesednih nefrazeoloških in frazeoloških leksikalnih enot. Slovarska zasnova je natančneje prikazana v Konceptu novega razlagalnega slovarja slovenskega knjižnega jezika, ki so ga leta 2015 potrdili in sprejeli Znanstveni svet Inštituta za slovenski jezik Frana Ramovša ZRC SAZU, Znanstveni svet ZRC SAZU, Razred za filološke in literarne vede SAZU in Predsedstvo SAZU.

Det er etablert på basis av en kvalitativ studie om studenters erfaringer med og opplevelse av kvalitet i det studiet de er en del av. Begrepet studielivskvalitet er et supplement til kvalitet forstått som målbarhet, nytte og effektivitet. Det består av de fem dimensjonene struktur, mestring, aktivitet, relasjon og transformasjon, forkortet til akronymet SMART. Studentene legger vekt på struktur og forutsigbarhet, samt krav og forventninger som er klare. De understreker betydningen av relasjoner som gjør at de føler seg sett og tatt alvorlig. Gjennom studiet utvikler studentene seg både faglig og personlig, de erfarer en transformasjon. Sentralt i boken er refleksjoner rundt studentenes erfaringer, vilkårene for god studielivskvalitet og utfordringer knyttet til den rådende forståelsen av kvalitet i dagens høyere utdanning.

    Description: Interrogar sobre o passado de uma das principais atividades educativas na escolarização inicial de crianças – o ensino de leitura e escrita – é o objetivo central desta obra. Entre as várias contribuições relevantes do livro, uma coletânea de 14 ensaios que abrangem mais de um século, da década de 1870 aos dias atuais, sobressai-se a importância da própria temática para a compreensão da cultura escolar. Os estudos põem em destaque cartilhas, livros de leitura, manuais, textos, artigos publicados em jornais e periódicos, polêmicas em torno dos métodos de ensino e a atuação de quem produziu e problematizou sobre o ensino de leitura e escrita no país. O primeiro texto da coletânea trata do método de alfabetização de Thomaz Paulo de Bom Sucesso Galhardo, autor da Cartilha da infância, publicada entre a década de 1880 e o ano de 1992.     Description: A autora faz aqui a defesa da teoria de Piaget e aponta os descaminhos dessa teoria no âmbito educacional, esclarecendo, além de rebater, as principais críticas que se faz a ela. Para isso, levanta e discute ideias comumente encontradas em textos educacionais “ditos construtivistas”, artigos e obras de seus críticos e, ainda, nas concepções que emergem no discurso de professores, buscando identificar equívocos, distorções e congruências. O principal objetivo da autora é mostrar como o Construtivismo tem sido “desconstruído” na área educacional e recolocar a teoria piagetiana em seus espaços próprios – os da Epistemologia e Psicologia. Ela procura analisar as concepções que considera falsas ou simplesmente desvirtuadas sobre o Construtivismo no âmbito educacional a partir do interior da teoria, ou seja, recorrendo a argumentos que se apoiam nos “propósitos, questões e conceitos que informaram o trabalho científico de Piaget”. O livro foi dividido em três partes. A primeira, intitulada “Construtivismo, psicologia e educação” trata de elucidar os conceitos-chave da teoria piagetiana, recordar como o Construtivismo veio a tornar-se uma corrente hegemônica na Psicologia e mostrar sua trajetória na educação brasileira. A segunda parte (“Uma pesquisa sobre os desvios do Construtivismo em professores do ensino fundamental”) apresenta dados quantitativos acerca desses “desvios”, os principais equívocos dos professores e uma interpretação sobre as causas de tal “assimilação deformante”. A terceira parte, “Piaget e seus intérpretes”, é dedicada aos intérpretes de Piaget, incluindo seus críticos. Aborda os “recados” enviados aos professores por autores construtivistas e os “pecados” contidos em certas ideias que se transformaram, inclusive, em slogans, além de questionar mais um caso de “assimilação deformante”.

Alunos com deficiência visual, por exemplo, começaram a frequentar espaços sociais como a escola sem que antigos paradigmas de normalização de comportamentos tenham sido revistos. Neste livro, Eder Pires de Camargo analisa os saberes que professores do ensino médio devem mobilizar para incluir alunos com deficiência visual em atividades de ensino. Toma como exemplo a interessante experiência de uma disciplina de graduação – Prática de Ensino – na qual futuros licenciados estruturaram e implementaram novas práticas de ensino para turmas mistas.     Description: Slovenec Janez Žiga Valentin Popovič (1705–1774), v času Marije Terezije profesor nemškega jezika na dunajski univerzi, je poleg drugih rokopisov zapustil tudi osnutek slovarja s kakimi tisoč slovenskimi in drugimi slovanskimi besedami, ki se hrani v Narodni in univerzitetni knjižnici v Ljubljani. Popovičevo delo, ki predstavlja zametek slovenske dialektologije in predznanstvena iskanja etimologij, so črpali in uporabljali mnogi (Marko Pohlin, Anton Breznik), širše dostopno pa postaja šele z objavo, ki je opremljena s spremnimi besedili ter kazali slovenskega in drugega slovanskega.

Based on quantitative and qualitative research, the anthology examines various aspects of elections to the Sámi Parliament, both in general and regarding the 2017 election in particular. The nine chapters delve into a wide range of topics, from voter behaviour and election results to more fundamental questions regarding indigenous representation and organizing in Norway. The book covers five main themes. First, Sámi identity and criteria for voter registration. What are considered acceptable grounds for claiming to be Sámi, and what criteria do people use when judging others as Sámi or non-Sámi? When is one ‘Sámi enough’ to qualify for the right to vote? These questions have a bearing on the very core of Sámi politics: who should be allowed to choose representatives on behalf of the Sámi people? Second, Sámi civil society. How do organizations that represent Sámi persons and Sámi interests relate to the Sámi Parliament? Third, voter turnout. How do we explain non-voting in a system where, unlike those for other elections in Norway, one must actively register in advance to be able to vote? And what about the fact that voters in municipalities with fewer than 30 registered voters must vote in advance? Do these circumstances depress voter turnout? Fourth, the party-political landscape. What differentiates supporters of the different parties? Are there clear differences that make it easier for voters to identify the distinctions between the parties?     Description: The Dictionary of Legal Terminology' shows the conceptual system of modern Slovenian law. In more than 10,000 dictionary entries, we present the terminology of contemporary Slovenian legal science, legal practice and legislation after 1991. The dictionary is primarily intended for legal experts, who practice various professions (including judges, lawyers, notaries, prosecutors as well as heads of HR and legal departments in companies). It is also intended for students of law and related sciences, in order to familiarize them with the conceptual system of Slovenian law in a professionally relevant manner. In order to use the dictionary efficiently at least a basic knowledge of law is required. This does not mean that journalists, translators, proof-readers and others who encounter legal terminology cannot use it. However, it should be borne in mind that definitions contained in a terminological dictionary are very concise and sufficiently informative only for an expert who is familiar with the conceptual system of a specific field of study, while other users are provided with a suitable starting point so they can find additional information if necessary.
    Description: Pravni terminološki slovar prikazuje pojmovni svet sodobnega slovenskega prava. V več kot 10.000 slovarskih sestavkih predstavljamo terminologijo sodobne slovenske pravne znanosti, pravne prakse in pravne norme (zlasti zakonodaje) po letu 1991. Slovar je namenjen predvsem pravnim strokovnjakom, torej pravnikom, ki opravljajo najrazličnejše poklice (od sodnikov, odvetnikov, notarjev, tožilcev, do vodij kadrovskih služb in pravnih oddelkov v podjetjih). Namenjen je tudi študentom prava in sorodnih ved, saj se tako na strokovno ustrezen način seznanjajo s pojmovnim sistemom slovenskega prava. Za uporabo slovarja je potrebno vsaj osnovno poznavanje pravne stroke. To ne pomeni, da ga ne morejo s pridom uporabljati novinarji, prevajalci, lektorji in drugi, ki se pri svojem delu srečujejo s pravno terminologijo. Vendar je treba upoštevati, da so definicije, predstavljene v terminološkem slovarju, zelo zgoščene in dovolj informativne za strokovnjaka, ki pozna pojmovni sistem stroke, drugi uporabniki pa dobijo predvsem primerno izhodišče, da lahko po potrebi poiščejo dodatne informacije.

    Description: O objetivo fundamental deste livro é apresentar algumas ações extensionistas que têm sido realizadas pelos docentes em conjunto com graduandos e pós-graduandos da Faculdade de Ciências e Letras, câmpus de Araraquara. Os projetos apresentados neste livro realçam explicitamente a importância da extensão universitária como elo responsável pela ligação da pesquisa científica de qualidade e inovadora, desenvolvida no âmbito da universidade, e a série de problemas (ambiental, econômico, educacional, de relacionamento humano, de sustentabilidade, etc.) que se apresentam na sociedade brasileira. Uma relação que se retroalimenta através de interações dialógicas, seguindo o princípio de que a construção do conhecimento deve ser feita a partir dos diversos saberes. Ao assumir esse princípio, a Universidade pública, através de suas ações extensionistas, torna-se mais sensível e porosa para as discussões dos problemas, das carências e dos desafios presentes e permanentes na sociedade brasileira. Nesse sentido, é relevante notar que o conjunto dos capítulos rechaça o entendimento da extensão universitária como uma ação assistencialista ou como prestadora de serviços. O pressuposto norteador é de uma extensão universitária que é portadora de uma ação transformadora em direção à justiça social e ao aprofundamento da democracia, dada sua capacidade de intervenção na dinâmica do território em que atua.

    Description: Izsledki raziskave slovenskega oblačilnega izrazja v Kanalski dolini, ki je v sodelovanju s Slovenskim kulturnim središčem Planika Kanalska dolina potekala v letih 2003–2007, so v monografiji urejeni v trijezični (slovensko-italijansko-nemški) konkordančni izrazijski slovar. Začetna, slovensko-italijanska razdelka vsebujeta prepis narečnega besedila Oblačila naših dedkov in babic glavne informantke Marie Moschitz, obogaten s slikovnim gradivom, in slovarski uvod s predstavitvijo raziskave, prikazom sestave gesel ter seznamom kratic in krajšav. Slovar v celoti temelji na prepisih posnetkov narečnih besedil, urejenih v podatkovno zbirko. Lažje iskanje po slovarju (tudi več- in drugojezičnim uporabnikom) omogočajo knjižnoslovensko-narečni, italijansko-slovenskonarečni in nemško-slovenskonarečni seznam.

There is a broad consensus that civic engagement, which often involves participation in various forms of collective action, is a cornerstone of a well-functioning democracy. Civic engagement and participation in collective action have traditionally been linked to social movements and voluntary organizations. Collective action is, however, changing as a result of societal- level processes of change, such as digitalization, the emergence of social media, individualization and globalization. This book investigates how these social changes have affected the ways individuals participate in different forms of collective action. What consequences does digitalization have for civic engagement in Norway? Is the distinction between volunteering and political activism about being wiped out? Are new organizational forms arising as a result of digitalization and individualization? Has globalization led to new forms of transnational networks? And more generally, are the traditional forms of collective action, rooted in civil society organizations, replaced by a new form of ""connective action""?     Description: This volume (‘A List of Slovenian Exonyms’) is a contribution to fostering greater consistency in the use of Slovenian exonyms, or geographical names adapted to Slovenian. It provides material for their standardization and at the same time ensures that this important aspect of Slovenian will not to sink into oblivion. The volume has three parts. Part one contains theoretical and methodological reflections on exonyms, with an emphasis on explaining basic concepts, the use of exonyms, gathering and selecting them to design a collection of exonyms, and presentation of an analysis of their frequency. It concludes with two chapters that serve as links to the other two parts of the volume. The first presents the format of the table in detail. This table, with a list of the most frequently used exonyms (3,818), comprises the second part of the book and is supplemented by a table with a list of over 350 of the most established alternative exonyms. The third part of the volume contains color maps containing exonyms from the table in part two, arranged by part of the world and divided according to semantic type of exonym.
    Description: Znanstvena monografija je prispevek k nadaljnjemu poenotenju rabe slovenskih eksonimov, podomačenih geografskih imen v slovenščini. Z njo smo pripravili gradivo za njihovo standardizacijo, obenem pa poskrbeli, da ta pomemben segment slovenskega jezika ne bo utonil v pozabo. Monografija je sestavljena iz treh delov. V prvem delu so teoretsko-metodološka razmišljanja o eksonimih, s poudarkom na razlagi temeljnih pojmov, rabi eksonimov, njihovem zajemu in izboru za zasnovo zbirke eksonimov ter predstavitev analize pogostnosti njihovega pojavljanja. Zaključita ga poglavji, ki sta nekakšna vezna člena k preostalima deloma monografije. V prvem od njiju so podrobneje predstavljene rubrike preglednice. Preglednico s seznamom najpogosteje uporabljenih eksonimov (okrog 3000), ki sestavlja drugi del knjige, dopolnjuje krajša preglednica s seznamom dobrih 350 najbolj uveljavljenih alternativnih eksonimov. V tretjem delu so barvni zemljevidi z vrisanimi eksonimi iz preglednice drugega dela, razporejeni po delih sveta in segmentirani glede na pomenski tip eksonimov.

A Escola do Meio Ambiente (EMA) está situada numa área composta por cerrado, floresta estacional semidecidual, mata paludosa e floresta implantada de eucalipto, abrigando nascentes e a represa abastecida pelo Ribeirão Lavapés, que atravessa a zona urbana de Botucatu. A partir de investigações realizadas em conjunto com a escola, foram sendo obtidos dados sobre animais silvestres que frequentam as matas e as suas trilhas, por meio de visualização, vestígios, pelos seus rastros, além de imagens obtidas de câmeras fotográficas colocadas em diferentes locais no período noturno. A segunda etapa do trabalho foi realizada por meio de pesquisa de referências científicas sobre esses animais que vivem e passam pela mata da escola, para que fossem criadas as histórias e as ilustrações de cada espécie. Assim, esta edição apresenta 16 narrativas, com o objetivo de mostrar para as crianças que é preciso conhecer o lugar em que vivem e ter uma relação com a natureza para conhecer as espécies animais que estão muito próximas: tatu-galinha, capivara, lobo-guará, sabiá-laranjeira, alma-de-gato, tamanduá-bandeira, tucano, quero-quero, suçuarana, periquitão-maracanã, serelepe, ouriço-cacheiro.

    Description: Slovar Pohlinovega jezika prinaša prikaz in razlago besedja, ki ga je naš prvi narodni buditelj Marko Pohlin (1735–1801) prikazal ali uporabil v svojih jezikoslovnih delih. To so Tu malu besedishe treh jeſikov (1781), ki je prvi natisnjen slovar s slovenščino na prvem mestu, Glossarium Slavicum (1792), ki je prvi natisnjen (predznanstveni) etimološki slovarja kakega slovanskega jezika, prva izdaja slovnice Kraynska grammatika (1768) in štiri izdaje učbenika Abecedika (1765, 1789, 1794 in 1798). Slovar obsega 13.433 slovarskih sestavkov, in sicer 12.229 polnih (356 lastnoimenskih), med katerimi je 11.774 enobesednih in 455 dvo- ali večbesednih, ter 1204 kazalčnih. V prvem dodatku so besede razvrščene glede na izbrane besednovrstne podkategorije, v drugem pa v pomenska polja. Pohlinovo jezikoslovno delo je imelo sicer precejšen, a po svoji vrednosti vendarle premajhen vpliv na poenotenje in standardizacijo slovenskega knjižnega jezika v 19. stoletju. Če bi Pohlinovi sodobniki in njihovi nasledniki cenili njegovo delo po dejanski vrednosti, bi danes kavču rekli leníšče, šefici poročníca, indijskim oreškom epātke, sinovi hčerki pa sȋnkinja.

    Description: In the years 1899–1901,Karel Štrekelj (1859–1912) held a course on Slovenian literature at the University of Graz. These are the first university lectures on Slovenian literature in the Slovenian language, published in two volumes. However, Štrekelj's history is more than this: it is a monumental, classically balanced synthesis of all the former knowledge of Slovenian literature, given against rich historical, social, and linguistic backgrounds.The present book includes volumes three and four of Štrekelj’s manuscript in a historically faithful, critical and annotated copy. Štrekelj opens a surprisingly fresh, original view of the era of Prešeren and Bleiweis, as well as the period up to the end of the 19th century, focusing on a series of major and minor figures, some of whom are almost forgotten today. He presents this period, in which there was no lack of disputes and disagreements, from a higher perspective: he attempts to explain each individual in the light of his or her own endeavours in the historical period, and to demonstrate the essence of his or her contribution to Slovenian literature. In so doing, Karel Štrekelj stands high above not only the internal disputes of individual writers in Slovenian literature, but also the ideological battles that later literary historians admitted to their literary histories through wide open doors.
    Description: Karel Štrekelj (1859–1912) je imel na univerzi v Gradcu v letih 1899–1901 predavanja o slovenski literaturi. To so prva univerzitetna predavanja o slovenski književnosti v slovenskem jeziku. Hkrati je Štrekljeva Zgodovina več kot to: je monumentalna, klasično uravnotežena sinteza vse dotedanje vednosti o slovenskem slovstvu, podana na bogatem ozadju zgodovinskega, socialnega in zlasti jezikovnega razvoja. Ta knjiga prinaša III. in IV. del Štrekljevega rokopisa v historično zvestem, kritičnem in komentiranem prepisu. Štrekelj odpira v knjigi presenetljivo svež pogled na Prešernovo in Bleiweisovo dobo ter čas do izteka 19. stoletja z vrsto velikih in manjših, danes skoraj pozabljenih osebnosti. Čas, v katerem ni manjkalo sporov in nesoglasij, Štrekelj prikaže z višje perspektive: vsako osebnost skuša pojasniti v luči njenih lastnih prizadevanj v zgodovinskem času in prikazati bralcu, v čem je njen prispevek k slovenskemu slovstvu. S tem stoji Karel Štrekelj visoko nad notranjimi spori ne le posameznih pisateljev v naši književnosti, ampak tudi visoko nad ideološkimi boji, ki so jim poznejši literarni zgodovinarji odprli vrata v svoje literarne zgodovine.

    Description: Este livro resgata o processo de elaboração, percurso e desenvolvimento da Campanha Nacional de Educação Rural (CNER), criada em 1952 e extinta em 1963, no contexto histórico que a ensejou, articulada às ideias hegemônicas do período, determinantes da ação do Estado e de setores da sociedade civil. Movimentos de organizações internacionais e a política nacional pela expansão do desenvolvimento econômico e modernização rural, aliam a educação a essas finalidades. A Campanha adota orientações pedagógicas da Educação de Base e do Desenvolvimento de Comunidade, pressupostos do funcionalismo e do neotomismo, com respaldo da Igreja Católica. Conhecimentos teóricos e técnicos pretendiam ofertar vida compatível com a dignidade humana e com os ideais democráticos para a cidadania. A pesquisa investiga os processos de conquista da cidadania, na perspectiva da contradição, ao explicitar avanços e retrocessos na relação educativa do programa. A análise considerou o conjunto de fontes documentais produzidas para e pela Campanha, como periódicos e acervo iconográfico, localizados em bibliotecas e arquivos. As categorias de análises contemplam temas emergentes para atender às demandas do campo, como: educação, habitação, saúde, lazer e promoção da educação política, para educação dos costumes, para além da alfabetização. O desenvolvimento da cidadania e da democracia pretendidas fundou-se em situações educativas pontuais e na resolução de conflitos sociais mais voltados para os indivíduos e os grupos, e menos como processos decorrentes do interior das práticas sociais. Contudo, a política foi relevante naquele contexto, pois, se não fosse a nossa cultura de descontinuidades e articulação das políticas sociais, as condições de vida e trabalho no campo poderiam ser outras.

    Description: The monograph ('I live in Bukov Vrh ('village') below Bukov vrh ('hill')') contains eight different proposals for writing the initial in the non-first components of multi-word geographical proper names. The proposals were presented at the open conference ““Meeting of two commissions”“ in June 2019. The motives that triggered the discussion on spelling reform and the decision to consult with the general public before the final decision of the spelling commission are presented. A survey will be prepared, presenting the views of the debaters, presented in the present monograph. The views of the chapters in the central part of the monograph can be summarized in three groups: the first group advocates a more comprehensive reform, which is reflected in the technical solution of writing geographical names - ““all components of the name with a capital letter”“~the second group does not advocate technical reform at the outset, but focuses on clarifying the rules and abolishing the division into settlement and non-settlement names~the third group does not support any changes.
    Description: Monografija prinaša osem utemeljitev različnih predlogov za pisanje začetnice v neprvih sestavinah večbesednih zemljepisnih lastnih imen, ki so bili predstavljeni na odprtem posvetu »Srečanje dveh komisij« (Pravopisne komisije pri SAZU in ZRC SAZU in Komisije za standardizacijo zemljepisnih imen Vlade Republike Slovenije) junija 2019. Uvodoma je orisano delovanje obeh komisij, ob tem so predstavljeni vzgibi, ki so sprožili razpravo o pravopisni reformi, predstavljena je tudi odločitev, da se bo pred končno odločitvijo pravopisne komisije, ki se ob prenovi pravopisnih pravil soočila s ponovno obujenim predlogom »vse z veliko začetnico«, ta posvetovala s širšo javnostjo. Pripravljena bo anketa, ki bo predstavila stališča razpravljalcev, predstavljena v pričujoči monografiji. Stališča prispevkov v osrednjem delu lahko strnimo v tri skupine: prva skupina zagovarja celovitejšo reformo, ki se zrcali v tehnični rešitvi zapisovanja zemljepisnih imen~druga skupina v izhodišču ne zagovarja tehnične reforme, ampak se osredotoča na ponatančenje pravil ter ukinitev delitve na naselbinska in nenaselbinska imena~tretja skupina ne podpira nobene spremembe.

    Description: Monografija obravnava predvsem oblikoslovno in besedotvorno problematiko slovenskega knjižnega jezika v obdobju njegovega nastanka. Čeprav se delo osredinja na glagol in njegove kategorije, so vključene tudi druge besedne vrste, v prid širine opisa pa pritegnjene tudi druge ravnine jezikovne zgradbe (pisna, glasoslovna, skladenjska). Odkrivanje sistemskih potez knjižnega jezika najpogosteje poteka preko analize jezika vzročnih besedil osrednjih piscev (zlasti Trubarja, Dalmatina in Krelja). K celovitejšemu pregledu prispevajo tudi rezultati preverjanja vpliva tujih prevodnih predlog ter dodane diahrone osvetlitve.

    Description: The purpose of the monograph Crossroads of Orthography which aims, as did its predecessor Junctures of Orthography (2012), to present arguments for additions and changes to normative rules – is to encourage normative and orthographic activities in Slovenian linguistic society. In the 20th century, these activities were intensified only after publication of normative guides called “pravopis” and during polemical discussions that accompanied the results. With both monographs, we want to encourage public debate before the publication of the new normative guide and also to find answers to the language and normative difficulties, which are not problematic only in terms of linguistics and orthography, but also within the wider social environment. In six thematic sections of the monograph, 26 authors of 22 articles deal with specific normative issues (capitalization and punctuation) as well as with other topics on different levels of grammatical description – phonology, morphology and word formation. The problems of orthography in other, often non-linguistic fields are discussed. In the last two parts of the monograph, the problems of lexicographic approaches to orthography and its relation to language culture are considered.
    Description: Monografija Pravopisna razpotja tako z imenom kot z obliko predstavlja nadaljevanje monografije Pravopisna stikanja (2012) in prinaša »še več pravopisa«. S prispevki 27 avtoric in avtorjev z različnih ustanov in iz različnih okolij želi delo preseči idejna in metodološka nasprotja, s katerimi je nasičena slovenska jezikoslovna publicistika. Prispevki so združeni v šest poglavij (Ožja pravopisna poglavja: izbira začetnice in ločila, Pravorečje v pravopisu, Oblikoslovje in besedotvorje v pravopisu, Pravopisna norma na drugih področjih, Iz pravil v slovar in iz slovarja v pravila, Pravopisna izbira kot jezikovnokulturna izbira: leksika, skladnja in slog) in se lotevajo problema male in velike začetnice pri nadomestnih imenih in frazemih, težavne stave vejice, težav pri oblikoslovnem in besedotvornem pregibanju, pravorečnih vprašanj v novem pravopisu, kratkega stika med pravopisom in standardi na drugih področjih, problemov slovarske obravnave okrajšav in citatnosti, ter težav, povezanih z normativnim vrednotenjem jezikovnih.

    Description: Este livro é resultado de uma pesquisa de análise documental desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Estadual de Maringá no período 2004-2006. A idéia das autoras em abordar o tema política educacional para a Educação Infantil no período 1990 a 2001 na imprensa periódica surgiu da preocupação em compreender como os professores-leitores apreenderam o discurso veiculado sobre a configuração das políticas nesse período de intensas reformas educacionais. Desta maneira, levantar a forma com que os textos e suas enunciações reproduziram esse contexto e colaborar para a implementação das políticas é essencial. As duas revistas escolhidas para essa assimilação foram selecionadas porque são as mais lidas e conhecidas pelos professores da Educação Infantil no Brasil. O fato de uma ser de cunho mercadológico e a outra de cunho oficial foi um aspecto propositalmente estabelecido, pois havia o interesse em diferenciá-las quanto à maneira que representam as políticas educacionais nas enunciações. Foi tomado como universo representativo para a análise, as enunciações das revistas Nova Escola (Editora Abril) e Criança (MEC), alguns documentos de organismos internacionais e documentos oficiais. Distinguiu-se que as categorias discursivas que compõem a trama de conceitos politicamente estratégicos para a Educação Infantil foram a Qualidade, a Descentralização e a Focalização. Com o intuito de evidenciar os vínculos das análises ao contexto macroeconômico, as políticas para a Educação Infantil foram abordadas por meio da mediação com a contextualização da mundialização do capital. No primeiro capítulo do livro, apresentamos a Educação Infantil inserida na contextualização histórica da atual fase de desenvolvimento do capital, a mundialização econômica, bem como a redefinição do papel do Estado e os ajustes neoliberais que determinaram as políticas públicas educacionais na década de 1990. No segundo capítulo, discutimos sobre as políticas para a Educação Infantil tendo como base a história desta etapa de ensino no Brasil e as orientações políticas das agências internacionais tais como a UNESCO, CEPAL e o Banco Mundial. Apresentamos também a estrutura políticas dos documentos oficiais destinadas a regulamentar a Educação Infantil no Brasil. A análise das categorias políticas Qualidade, Descentralização e Focalização foi o foco do terceiro capítulo. Tal abordagem colaborou para evidenciar que as políticas de ajustes neoliberais propaladas pelas agências internacionais foram acopladas nas políticas públicas destinadas à Educação Infantil e, também, foram estrategicamente veiculadas nos textos das revistas dirigidas aos profissionais dessa área. O enfoque para as análises foi pautado na concepção de que o texto é discurso produzido no embate da luta de classes. A análise mostrou que o caráter dos textos veiculados sugeriu uma continuidade aos ajustes neoliberais estruturais na educação infantil.

    Description: O presente estudo inscreve-se no campo das políticas públicas para a infância destacando a questão da educação infantil como um dos direitos da criança. Atualmente, a criança é reconhecida como sujeito pleno de direitos, ganhando a infância maior visibilidade na sociedade, respaldada por dispositivos legais de âmbito internacional. Em contrapartida, os discursos teóricos e a realidade de milhares de crianças em todo o mundo têm revelado o estado paradoxal da condição da criança e da efetivação dos seus direitos. Portanto, o objetivo deste estudo foi o de analisar as concepções de criança, seus direitos e educação infantil apresentadas pelas educadoras das creches de Franca, e de que forma essas categorias são manifestadas nas práticas institucionais. A construção da pesquisa, referenciada na abordagem qualitativa, teve como aporte teórico-metodológico a teoria das representações sociais e o emprego de questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas como instrumentos metodológicos para a coleta dos dados empíricos, posteriormente analisados pela técnica da análise de conteúdo. Com base nas análises desenvolvidas, constatou-se nos discursos e nas ações das profissionais representações da criança como um sujeito marcado pela condição de "vir a ser", dependente do adulto, frágil e inocente, associadas a um modelo de educação infantil escolarizante e preparatório de futuras aprendizagens. Desta forma, as representações acerca das categorias criança, direitos e educação infantil não favorecem, efetivamente, para que as crianças exerçam a condição de sujeitos de direitos e protagonistas nos espaços institucionais, e para que as creches sejam legitimadas enquanto espaços de exercício da cidadania da infância.

    Description: O livro analisa a implementação da Educação das Relações Étnico-raciais no Brasil, a partir da Lei 10639/2003, que estabelece a obrigatoriedade do ensino de história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira no currículo da educação básica. No livro é descrito o processo de implementação da lei no contexto da luta do movimento negro brasileiro. São apresentadas e sistematizadas avaliações sobre a implementação realizadas pelo Ministério da Educação, a Secretaria de Políticas de Promoção de Igualdade Racial da Presidência da República e por pesquisadores da temática. Foram analisados dois programas federais que visaram implementar a educação das relações étnico-raciais: o Programa Educação Africanidades Brasil (Africanidades) e Programa de Ações Afirmativas para a População Negra nas Instituições Federais e Estaduais de Educação Superior (Uniafro). A partir da análise desses modelos de execução de política pública, bem como das avaliações da implementação da educação das relações étnico-raciais é possível indicar caminhos para a implementação de uma política efetiva de formação de docentes para a implementação da Lei 10639/2003.

    Description: For a century and half, the life and work of the Slovenian–Croatian poet Stanko Vraz (1810–1851) has aroused mutually irreconcilable interpretations in Slovenian literary history and Slovenian public. These ambiguous receptions usually ranged between praising Vraz as a visionary Styrian poet and dismissing him as a “national renegade.” On one side, the Slove­nian reception of Vraz centered on his decision to abandon writing in Slovenian and to embrace Shtokavian Croatian. On the other side, Vraz was an internationally acclaimed Illyrian poet and romantic Pan-Slav that almost single-handedly kindled the flame for the Slove­nian national rebirth in pre-March Lower Styria. Moreover, Slovenian literary historiography adds to his ambiguous status by treating him as a unique and often tragic figure. Despite his mythicized role, Stanko Vraz in nacionalizem (Stanko Vraz and Nationalism) depicts Vraz from another angle—as a symptom of these processes rather than as their main protagonist. To achieve this task, the book offers a new contextualiza­tion of Vraz’s practice and provides a new look at the Slovenian posthumous reception of the poet.
    Description: Knjiga obravnava slovensko-hrvaškega pesnika Stanka Vraza z gledišča, ki ni značilno za slovensko literarno zgodovinopisje. Še posebej to gledišče ni značilno za obravnavo tako edinstvenega literata, kot je na prvi pogled Vraz. Med slovensko pišočimi literati bi zlasti v 19. stoletju stežka našli primerljivo figuro. Vraz namreč v literarni zgodovini ni ostal zapisan le kot nekakšen odpadnik, pač pa tudi kot izvrsten pesnik, kar dodatno prispeva k njegovi skoraj tragični mitski karizmi. Že bežen pogled v njegove biografske podatke pa razkriva še veliko več. Pesnik je bil med prvimi, ki so pri pisanju v slovenščini dosledno uporabljali današnjo slovensko pisavo, in med prvimi, ki so si dopisovali v slovenščini. Pri tem je bila na Hrvaškem recepcija Vraza izrazito afirmativna, kar je dodatno pripomoglo k njegovemu enigmatičnemu statusu. Nabor njegovih dejanj, ki jih je hrvaška literarna zgodovina povzela kot pionirska, pa je še bistveno daljši~med drugim je Vraz prvi hrvaški literarni kritik in pisec prve satire. V slovenski literarni vedi pa je vendarle obveljal za nekakšnega narobe Prešerna, če naj parafraziramo Prešernovo lastno oznako Vraza kot »naróbe Katóna«.

Za nabor besedja v slovarju je zaradi njegove ažurnosti značilen velik vpliv zunanjih okoliščin, kar se je še posebej pokazalo v letu 2020 – v slovar je prišlo mnogo t. i. koronabesedja: zloženke s korona-, zloženke tipa samoizolacija in besedne zveze, kot so socialna distanca, bela/rdeča/siva cona ipd.

    Description: The monograph ('On Terminology in the European Union') focuses on the creation of the Slovene version of the terminology of the EU. The primary task of the terminology is to ensure effective communication. Therefore, it should be unambiguous and consistent. Multilingualism is a fundamental principle of the language regime of the EU and it is achieved through translation. Translation is also one of the most common naming procedures when creating EU terminology. Before creation of the new term it is very important to identify the content of the concept for which lawyers are certainly most qualified. The judgments of the Court of Justice of the EU are translated by lawyer-linguists, who are legal professionals with law degree in their main language. They are employed in all EU institutions, but only lawyer-linguists in the Court of Justice of the EU are responsible for translation (in their main language). The terminological analysis of the judgments in the field of EU Trade Mark translated into Slovene, shows how the terminology in those judgments has been developed and highlights the problems encountered by lawyer-linguists in translating them.
    Description: V monografiji je poudarek na oblikovanju in značilnostih slovenske različice terminologije v EU. Osnovna naloga terminologije je zagotavljanje učinkovitega sporazumevanja, zaradi česar naj bi bila nedvoumna in ustaljena, še posebej pa je jasna terminologija pomembna v kontekstu prava. Načelo večjezičnost je temeljno načelo jezikovne ureditev EU, ki ga je mogoče doseči s prevajanjem. S prevajanjem nastaja tudi terminologija, pri čemer mora biti pred poimenovanjem pojma prepoznana njegova vsebina, za kar so najbolje usposobljeni pravniki.Sodbe Sodišča EU prevajajo pravniki lingvisti, ki so po izobrazbi pravniki z diplomo nacionalne pravne fakultete. Zaposleni so v vseh institucijah EU, za prevajanje pa so zadolženi samo na Sodišču EU, in sicer prevajajo v svoj materni jezik. V monografiji predstavljena terminološka analiza sodb Sodišča EU s področja blagovne znamke EU prikazuje, kako se je oblikovala terminologija v teh sodbah in s kakšnimi težavami se srečujejo pravniki lingvisti na Sodišču EU pri prevajanju sodb.

    Description: A coletânea tem como eixo central a Educação Escolar e este tema conduz e confere unidade às reflexões, abordado a partir de diferentes perspectivas. A preocupação que perpassa todos os textos pode ser expressa na seguinte pergunta: como enfrentar os problemas vividos pela escola, num momento em que a ela se atribui uma gama enorme de responsabilidades? Cada autor, circunscrito à sua temática de pesquisa, nos instiga a pensar essa questão. O que move cada um é o desejo de que a escola acolha aqueles que lá chegam e que se responsabilize por eles, mas sem perder de vista o quanto é complexa e delicada essa atividade de inserção dos novos neste mundo. Talvez, a ideia de responsabilidade seja mesmo a que melhor defina os propósitos gerais desta coletânea, a qual se manifesta no compromisso político com a educação de crianças e de adolescentes, portanto, no compromisso com o mundo em que vivemos. A resposta a essa pergunta poderá ter como parâmetro os textos aqui presentes que estão assim organizados: na primeira parte da coletânea, os autores lidam com aspectos relacionados às Políticas Públicas e Educação; na segunda abordam a Formação de Professores; na terceira parte, focam Valores e Educação e, na quarta parte, voltam-se para as Práticas Educativas. Concluímos, destacando que esta coletânea explicita o quanto é complexa a tarefa de investigar a educação escolar, pois ela comporta uma série de nuances que precisa ser analisada por diferentes saberes que são complementares.

    Description: Society’s use and management of water relies on professional expertise spanning diverse fields: from biology and technology to economics and law. This book examines current issues related to regulating water through chapters summarizing various sets of regulation as well as chapters that take a scientific deep dive into selected themes. The diversity of professional expertise is also reflected in the law aspect. We explore such subjects as surface runoff, natural disasters, drinking water, groundwater, salmon, hydropower, and human rights, as well as general impact assessment requirements and duty of knowledge in environmental law administration. A key objective of the book has been to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of the legal circumstances associated with water, and in addition, deliberate the pros and cons of some of the current regulations. This book will be particularly useful for those who in various ways support and facilitate procedures within the public sector at both the national and municipal levels. It will also be useful for private sector actors seeking familiarity with legal questions that can arise in relation to public administration and other private actors. From a broader perspective, we hope the book can help to throw light on conflicts between different interests and groups within society that occur, for example, when introducing fees, special injunctions against private actors, and requirements for knowledge basis. This book project is the result of legal research conducted at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and is supplemented by national expertise in several areas. It has been edited by Steinar Taubøll, a professor at NMBU’s Department of Property and Law. Taubøll has a background in both law and the natural sciences, and extensive experience with interdisciplinary work.
    Description: Håndtering og bruk av vann i samfunnet krever et faglig mangfold fra biologi og teknikk til økonomi og juss. Denne boken drøfter aktuelle temaer knyttet til rettslig regulering av vann, både i form av oversiktskapitler om ulike regelsett og gjennom vitenskapelige dypdykk i utvalgte temaer. Den faglige spennvidden gjenspeiler seg også innen det juridiske. I boken finner man stoff om overvannshåndtering, naturfare, drikkevann, grunnvann, villaks, kraftutbygging, menneskerettigheter, samt om generelle utredningskrav og kunnskapsplikter i miljørettsforvaltning. Et sentralt siktemål er å bygge opp tverrfaglig forståelse av gjeldende juridiske forhold knyttet til vann, og dessuten sette noen av dagens reguleringer under debatt. Boken retter seg særlig til de ressurspersonene som på ulike måter støtter saksbehandlingen i stat og kommune. Boken antas også å være nyttig for private aktører som vil gjøre seg mer kjent med rettsspørsmål som kan oppstå i forhold til forvaltningen og til andre private aktører. I et bredere perspektiv er det dessuten ønskelig at boken kan bidra til å belyse konflikter mellom ulike hensyn og grupper i samfunnet, for eksempel ved innføring av gebyrer, pålegg rettet mot private, innføring av tyngende vilkår og krav til kunnskap og faktagrunnlag. Bokprosjektet springer ut av den juridiske forskningen ved Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet, og har i tillegg knyttet til seg nasjonal spisskompetanse på mange temaer. Bokas redaktør er dosent Steinar Taubøll ved Institutt for eiendom og juss ved NMBU, som har naturfaglig og juridisk utdannelse, samt lang erfaring med tverrfaglig arbeid.

    Description: PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) er en internasjonal undersøkelse av 15-åringers kompetanser i noen sentrale fagområder – lesing, matematikk og naturfag. Naturfag er hovedområde i PISA 2015. Undersøkelsen gjennomføres hvert tredje år. I PISA 2015 er hele undersøkelsen for første gang gjennomført digitalt. Det har blant annet gitt mulighet for å ha med nye typer oppgaver, for eksempel interaktive simuleringsoppgaver i naturfag. Denne rapporten presenterer resultater fra den sjette gjennomføringen av PISA-undersøkelsen. Noen sentrale spørsmål som blir undersøkt, er: Hvordan har norske elevers kompetanser i lesing, matematikk og naturfag endret seg over tid? I hvilken grad er norske elever i stand til å bruke kunnskap i ulike kontekster?     Description: V Besedotvornem atlasu slovenskih narečij (BASN) je obravnavano besedje iz pomenskega polja kulturne rastline, zbrano v 93 krajevnih govorih iz vseh sedmih narečnih skupin slovenskega jezika. Besedje je diferencirano tako na besedotvorni kot na leksično-besedotvorni ravnini in razvrščeno v pet pomenskih sklopov: Divja sadna drevesa, Nadzemni deli kulturnih rastlin, Slama, Sadni mošt in Sadno žganje. Zgradba atlasa je deloma tradicionalna (jezikovne karte s komentarji in gradivom), deloma inovativna, saj je v njem predstavljen model za geolingvistično analizo besedotvorno diferenciranega narečnega gradiva, na podlagi katerega je mogoče ugotavljati, ali imajo strukturni tipi leksemov in posamezna besedotvorna obrazila v narečjih svoje tipične areale, značilne in potrjene tudi za druge jezikovne ravnine. Jedrni del atlasa predstavlja dvaindvajset leksično-besedotvornih kart za posamezne slovarske pomene (npr. poimenovanja za ‘divjo hruško’, ‘nadzemni del krompirja’, ‘ajdovo slamo’, ‘jabolčni mošt’, ‘hruškovo žganje’ ...) ter sedemintrideset zbirnih besedotvornih kart, na katerih je prikazana struktura obravnavanih poimenovanj ter njihova prostorska razporeditev.

    Description: Divided as it is, philology is constantly improving through the emergence of new interdisciplinary sciences. One among them is ethnolinguistics. It has taken particularly firm roots in Slavic studies, especially with the Russian and Polish schools. While the diachronous researches of Nikita I. Tolstoy in Svetlana Tolstaya reach as far back as Slavic mythology, the Polish school, headed by Jerzy Bartmińsky, flirts with cognitive linguistics and is more interested, through its synchronous approach, in contemporary themes. The present monograph aims to evaluate the work carried out in this field to date and to raise awareness of the new interdisciplinary direction, which may link up the ethnologies and linguistics of different directions.
    Description: Diferenciacija filologije se kar naprej popravlja z nastankom novih interdisciplinarnih ved, med njimi je tudi etnolingvistika. Ta se je posebno dobro ukoreninila v slavistiki posebej z rusko in poljsko šolo. Medtem ko se prva po zaslugi Nikite N. Tolstoja in Svetlane Tolstaje z diahrono metodo usmerja v preteklost tja do mitologije, se druga pod vodstvom Jerzyja Bartmińskega spogleduje s kognitivnim jezikoslovjem in jo s sinhronim pristopom bolj privlačijo sodobne teme. Etnolingvistika po slovensko skuša v posameznih poglavjih slediti njuni metodologiji, še prej pa ozavestiti vlogo revije Wörter und Sachen (1909) do nastopa nacizma in Matije Murka pri konstituiranju novo imenovane stroke. Poleg tega ne želi prezreti posebnih okoliščin, v katerih se slovenski jezik na vseh štirih straneh neba bojuje za svoj obstoj.
