    Description: Los suelos urbanos han sido y son motivo de estudio por parte de investigadores que tratan de aportar soluciones y líneas de trabajo para mejorar las formas de vida y la calidad de nuestro entorno. Así este trabajo parte, por un lado, del interés de un grupo de investigación que, desde años, ha puesto su mirada sobre el estado, condiciones funcionales y desarrollo de los suelos urbanos industriales que, hoy en día, se suman al concepto más amplio de AAE (empresariales, logísticas, comerciales o de desarrollo científico, tecnológico, ) y, por otro, del interés de la Administración Pública Provincial, la Diputación de Valencia, que, en este caso, ha apostado por la mejora permanente de las AAE en su marco territorial. Esta obra forma parte de una serie de tres volúmenes, donde el trabajo o se plantea como una colección de documentos con una temática general común, la renovación de las áreas de actividad económica. La lectura de los diferentes trabajos se puede realizar de forma individual, entendiendo cada volumen como un estudio específico de una determinada AAE de un municipio concreto, y también, como un ejemplo representativo de un ámbito urbanístico con unas características territoriales, urbanas, paisajísticas o de infraestructura concretas, que pueden servir como referencia a otros municipios con elementos en un contexto similar

The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

Entre ellas, el diseño de humedales artificiales es uno de los temas más habituales. Los humedales artificiales son sistemas de tratamiento que se pueden emplear para depurar distintos tipos de aguas residuales o contaminadas.     Description: ¿Cómo se logra que mujeres jóvenes y de determinadas características físicas y psicológicas provean de su capacidad gestante y procreadora a padres intencionales de todo el mundo?, ¿cómo interviene la biotecnología en la reproducción humana?, ¿es la gestación para otros un don o un trabajo? Esta obra responde a estas y otras preguntas a través de las voces y de las miradas de las portadoras gestacionales, de los padres y de las madres intencionales, de los médicos y de los juristas. Con base en etnografías surgidas de la coyuntura que, en el periodo 2015-2017, suscitó la oferta local y transnacional de donación reproductiva en México, este libro expone la inserción de ese país en la cadena mundial de trabajo reproductivo; explora el simbolismo de la genética y discute sobre la autonomía de los cuerpos femeninos. Concluye que la gestación para otros produce efectos disruptivos en nociones de maternidad y familia fuertemente cristalizadas en el imaginario pues, ¿acaso no cuestiona el principio mater semper certa est?, ¿acaso no hace realidad el nacimiento de madre virgen?, ¿sobre qué otros mitos irrumpe la gestación para otros?

    Description: En su obra Les Chasseurs-cueilleurs ou l’origine des inégalrtés (1982), Alain Testart insiste en el papel que la práctica del almacenamiento pudo haber cobrado en el origen de las desigualdades en el seno de los grupos humanos, en particular entre las bandas de cazadores recolectores y, especialmente, aquellas más o menos sedentarizadas. En un artículo famoso, Kent V. Flannery (1973), por su parte, afirmaba que la aparición del modo de vida sedentario más había tenido que ver con la invención de las fosas de almacenaje que con la de la agricultura. Eso ejemplifica el carácter central que tuvo el acto de almacenar en diferentes contextos de la historia humana universal. No cabe duda de que, en la Mesoamérica prehispánica también, el almacenaje desempeñó un papel importante. Sin embargo, la arqueología y la etnohistoria no han prestado mucha atención al tema y a los vestigios -de hecho a menudo efímeros- que pueden hablar de este aspecto esencial de la vida económica y social. Al revisar datos procedentes de diferentes partes del Norte y Centro del México antiguo -desde Chihuahua hasta Morelos y Puebla, pasando por Michoacán y la Cuenca de México-, este volumen pretende empezar a llenar un vacío. Por otra parte, más allá de la simple recopilación de informaciones factuales, sus páginas introducen a discusiones fundamentales sobre las múltiples cuestiones que el estudio del almacenamiento en sociedades del pasado lleva a abordar: sus aspectos tecnológicos, pero también económicos, sociales y políticos, en otras palabras su dimensión antropológica.

Se analiza cómo afectan los distintos cambios que podrían realizarse en viviendas modelo y qué resultados se derivan de los mismos, permitiendo establecer una dirección clara a seguir para mejorar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos con más dificultades.

    Description: El presente libro es uno de los resultados del proyecto de documentación de la lengua huasteca (tenek) de la sierra de Otontepec que la Dra. Ana Kondic llevó a cabo en 2012. El objetivo de este proyecto fue la creación de una base de datos, la elaboración de materiales de revitalización y manutención, así como la redacción de una gramática descriptiva de esta variante del huasteco. Esta publicación nació de los materiales coleccionados durante el trabajo de campo que la autora realizó en el pueblo de San Francisco Chontla, Veracruz, en el periodo 2008-2013. Dos músicos locales, Telésforo del Ángel Domínguez y Narcizo de la Cruz Domínguez, fueron algunos de los colaboradores principales de este proyecto de documentación. Su música y poesía en lengua teenek quedaron reflejadas en el presente libro, que representa junto al An Chikam Príncipe (El principito de Antoine de Saint Exupéry traducido al teenek) y las Narraciones Huastecas Trilingües, una extraordinaria herramienta para la manutención y la revitalización de la lengua y cultura de los huastecos de la sierra de Otontepec.

    Description: En la última década, se ha popularizado la idea del deporte como herramienta para la integración social. Sin embargo, a pesar de su auge, esta representación colectiva sobre las potencialidades integradoras del deporte no ha ido acompañada por una puesta en marcha comparable de experiencias prácticas. Hoy, es más fuerte la representación de la idea de deporte-integración que su realidad práctica. Este libro trata los muchos interrogantes que se plantean en torno a esta idea de deporte e integración social. Lo hace situándose en una posición de crítica constructiva. Señalando las limitaciones y la instrumentalización abusiva del deporte, pero sin prescindir de su carácter de herramienta de política social, que puede convertirlo en un recurso para mejorar las condiciones de vida de grupos sociales vulnerables.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.
