    Beschreibung: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The first part of the book contains chapters about the general history of school textbooks for reading and the story of the heritage of two authors (Vyazemsky and Fet) in them. The second part of the book presents chapters on various Russian poets (Batyushkov, Zhukovsky, Pushkin, Koltsov, Tyutchev, Maikov) whose poems found a firm place in the reading materials for schools. The chapters of the monograph give an idea of different aspects of the history of these texts and their reception. The monograph has two supplements. In the first there is a list of 108 textbooks and books of reading which are all included in the unique data base accessible in the Internet (www.ruthenia.ru/canon). The second supplement offers a list of the most popular authors and their texts included in the textbooks of the 19th century.

    Beschreibung: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. This issue of the subseries “Blokovskii sbornik” continues the series of studies started by Zara Mints in 1964. The majority of works from Section I of the book, “The Art of А. Blok in the Context of 19th–20th Century Literature,” is devoted to the study of the poet’s works, his perceptions of preceding writers’ works, and his biographical and artistic contacts with contemporaries. The articles in Section II, “Silver Age Literature: Creative and Social Strategies,” are mainly focused on artistic works and essays of modernist literati contemporary to Blok or to some extent resonating with his poetry and artistic worldview.

    Beschreibung: This book is in commemoration of the composer, educator, conductor and social worker Magnar Åm’s 70th birthday. Right from the start of work as a composer, music as a form of recognition has been central, along with an impulse to disrupt boundaries between established forms and conventions. This has also been a guiding principle behind the contributions to this anthology, where the goal has not only been to honor one individual, but to be a source of new insight. Music and literature are about the creation and dissemination of meaning. In this sense, it is paradoxical to talk about silence as a hallmark of certain art forms. But anyone who reads or listens actively knows that there is more to be gained from art than what lies in the immediate and explicit expression. The voice (in a broad sense) finds its complimentary opposite in silence. The first part of the anthology provides a brief theoretical background for interdisciplinary research into music and literature. The contributions that follow do not view artworks simply as finished products, but as parts of a living practice in which the composer, author, music, text, performer and audience all meet. In the next part, we are drawn into the workshops of composers and musicians who reflect on the music of Magnar Åm, as well as their own in light of this. In the final part, we cross the border between art and other forms of experience, with eudaimonia as a unifying concept: How should one live a complete and meaningful life? This book has been written by researchers in a variety of fields such as literature, music, natural science and outdoor life, as well as practicing artists: composers, musicians and writers. Between research and art, through scientific articles and professional essays, a conversation arises that engenders recognition across fixed boundaries.
    Beschreibung: Denne boka er eit festskrift i høve 70-årsdagen til komponisten, pedagogen, dirigenten og samfunnsmennesket Magnar Åm. Heilt frå starten av komposisjonsarbeidet hans har musikken som erkjenningsform stått sentralt, men også trongen til å bryte grensene mellom etablerte former og konvensjonar. Dette har fungert som leietrådar også for bidraga til denne antologien. Målet har ikkje berre vore å lage eit heidersskrift til éin person, men å vere ei kjelde til ny innsikt. Musikk og litteratur handlar om skaping og formidling av meining. Slik sett er det paradoksalt å snakke om stille som eit sentralt kjenneteikn ved desse kunstartane. Men alle som les og lyttar aktivt, veit at det er meir å hente i kunsten enn det som ligg i det umiddelbare og eksplisitte uttrykket. Stemma (i vid tyding) har stilla som si komplementære motsetning. Første hovuddel av antologien gir ein kortfatta teoretisk bakgrunn for ei tverrvitskapleg forsking på musikk og litteratur. Bidraga som følgjer ser ikkje på kunstverka berre som ferdige produkt, men som delar av ein levande praksis, i møtet mellom komponist, forfattar, musikk, tekst, utøvar og mottakar. I neste del blir vi tekne med inn i verkstaden til komponistar og musikarar som kommenterer musikken til Magnar Åm, men også sin eigen i dette lyset. I siste del kryssar vi grensa mellom kunsten og andre erfaringsformer, med eudaimonia som samlande omgrep: Korleis kan ein kan leve eit fullstendig og meiningsfullt liv? Boka er skriven av forskarar frå ulike fagfelt som litteratur, musikk, naturvitskap, friluftsliv, men også av utøvande kunstnarar: komponistar, musikarar og forfattarar. I møtet mellom forsking og kunst, gjennom vitskaplege artiklar og faglege essay, oppstår det ein samtale som skaper erkjenning på tvers av fastlåste grenser.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Pronunciation in Learning German at Secondary Schools. This publication presents an empirical research of pronunciation mistakes of Czech students learning German as a second foreign language at elementary school. The aim of the research was to verify the extent of the students’ pronunciation difficulties with German pronunciation phenomena error-prone for Czech native speakers. The research determined in what way these errors manifest themselves in the transfer from the students’ previously acquired languages, i.e. their mother tongue (Czech) and the first foreign language learnt (English). Within the theoretical foundation, the focus is put on different concepts of pronunciation in terms of foreign language teaching objectives, definitions of language errors and their causes, the development of the German pronunciation standard and methodological approaches to error analysis.

    Beschreibung: How can we be sure that the food we buy in grocery stores won’t make us sick? The institutions, laws and regulatory systems put in place to safeguard that food is safe to consume are the result of a long and complex process. This book takes a close look at that process and at how various actors and institutions – we call them ‘food’s facilitators’ – have worked to ensure that the food we eat is fresh, healthy and safe. Food’s Facilitators explores how modern foods and systems for food can be seen as the result of a series of administrative efforts and negotiations over how such food is produced. The authors examine laws and regulations, expertise, technologies, and media that contribute to binding the various modern industrialized food systems together. Their subject matter ranges from cookbooks and schools for housewives that have greatly influenced the Norwegian diet, to the industrial production of foods, freezer technology, date marking, and quality assessment. In addition, the authors look at the presentation of food on television as informational activity as well as debates about industrially produced ingredients and food products like margarine, artificial vanilla and farmed salmon. Through these examples the book illustrates how regulation, quality and information became necessary cornerstones in the evolution of the food industry. The authors have backgrounds in science and technology studies, history, anthropology, sociology and media science. The anthology has been edited by Terje Finstad, Stig Kvaal and Per Østby, all from the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and Håkon B. Stokland from the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research and NTNU’s Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture.

Etableringen av institusjoner, lover og kontrollsystemer som sikrer oss at maten er trygg, er resultatet av en lang og sammensatt historisk prosess. Denne boken ser nærmere på denne prosessen, og på hvordan ulike aktører og institusjoner – kalt matens meglere – har arbeidet for å gjøre maten vi spiser god, sunn og sikker. Matens meglere viser hvordan moderne mat og matsystemer kan forstås som resultat av en rekke styringsforsøk og forhandlinger om hvordan mat blir til. Forfatterne ser på lover og regler, ekspertise, teknologier og medier som bidrar til å knytte de moderne industrialiserte matsystemene sammen. Tematikken strekker seg fra kokebøker og husmorskoler, som har hatt stor innflytelse på det norske kostholdet, til etablering av matvareindustri, fryseteknologi, datomerking og vurdering av matkvalitet. Videre ser forfatterne på mat på TV som opplysningsvirksomhet, og debatt omkring industrielt produserte ingredienser og matprodukter som margarin, vanilje og oppdrettslaks. Gjennom disse eksemplene viser boken hvordan kontroll, kvalitet og kunnskap ble nødvendige omdreiningspunkt i den industrielle matens tid. Forfatterne har bakgrunn fra vitenskap- og teknologistudier, historie, antropologi, sosiologi og medievitenskap.     Beschreibung: What gave rise to the Norse legal system? When? And where were the meeting places under this system located? These are questions that have long remained unanswered in Norwegian and Northern European history. An overriding theme of the book is establishing when this legal system arose and how it developed over time at the local and regional levels. Central topics include the localization of assembly sites in the landscape and how these sites became important to the consolidation of power structures and, later on, the royal system of governance. The ‘things’ are discussed in relation to successive political and economic structures as well as the influence of conditions within settlements and society. The book also looks at the assembly sites in their various contexts regarding localization and importance in the region, and in connection with the system’s development in Northern Europe. The Landscape of the Law provides extensive insight into the places where law and justice and related legal matters were decided in Viken. This is an aspect of Norway’s territorial division that has not been addressed in prior research. The book is relevant for researchers and history and archeology students working in such areas as legal and religious history, administrative jurisdictions, and state-formation processes, as well as local historians and other readers interested in cultural history.
    Beschreibung: Når og hvorfor oppstod det norrøne rettssystemet og hvor var tingstedene lokalisert? Dette er tema som lenge har vært ubesvart i norsk og nord-europeisk historie. I Rettens landskap. Tingsteder og rettskretser i Viken i jernalder og middelalder undersøkes stedene for rettsmøter (tingsteder) og den administrative organisasjonen i det historiske Viken-området: de kystnære og sentrale delene av Sørøst-Norge, fra Telemark i vest til Bohuslän i øst. Dette geografiske området utgjør Borgartingets lovområde i middelalderen. Gjennom arkeologiske funn, onomastiske, topografiske og historiske kilder, diskuteres fremveksten av det juridiske landskapet i et langtidsperspektiv fra jernalder til middelalder, det vil si perioden 100–1600 e.Kr. Et gjennomgående tema er når rettssystemet oppsto og hvordan det utviklet seg over tid, både på lokalt og regionalt nivå. Sentralt står lokaliseringen av tingstedene i landskapet, og hvordan tingstedene inngikk som en viktig del av konsolideringen av maktstrukturer og senere kongelige styringssystem. Tingene drøftes i sammenheng med skiftende politiske og økonomiske strukturer, samt bosetnings- og samfunnsforhold som kan ha påvirket tingsystemet. Boken ser også på tingstedene i deres ulike kontekster med hensyn til lokalisering og betydning i regionen, og i sammenheng med tingsystemets utvikling i Nord-Europa. Rettens landskap gir dyptgående innsikt i steder for lov og rett og tilhørende rettsområder i Viken. Dette er en del av Norges territorielle inndeling som ikke har vært belyst i tidligere forskning. Boken er relevant for forskere og studenter innenfor historie og arkeologi som arbeider med eldre retts- og kirkehistorie, administrative inndelinger og statsdannelsesprosesser, men den er også velegnet for lokalhistorikere og kulturhistorisk interesserte lesere.

    Beschreibung: How should we go about collaborating with children and adolescents? Young Participation: Creativity and Conflict in Planning explores how youth participation work in practical terms, in the context of urban development processes at the municipal level in Norway. From their unique perspectives, several social scientists, artists, an architect, and a young contributor discuss experiences and dilemmas of including children, teens, and young adults as contributing stakeholders on various projects. The reader will find concrete examples of participation processes and tools developed in cooperation with young people, architects, and public employees. The chapters reveal how good intentions regarding inclusion can obscure power hierarchies, friction, and conflicts of interest. Yet they also demonstrate that the potential for creativity and innovation are great when young people are invited to contribute their input in planning and developing everything from youth community centers and school grounds to parks and other outdoor spaces in local neighborhoods. This anthology will provide inspiration to researchers, students, municipal employees, urban planners, and others working collaboratively in urban and community development. Among the topics covered are participation as co-research, social entrepreneurship and participation as part of school curricula and in socio-cultural place analyses, the power of the hand in creative practices, co-location as a trend, digital and hybrid participation processes, and power plays in planning. By introducing a new model for ‘thick participation’, the anthology attempts to ensure that young citizens are not just seen and heard but are also given the opportunity to become lasting resources within their local communities. The book’s editors, senior researcher Aina Landsverk Hagen and research professor Bengt Andersen, are both based at the Work Research Institute (AFI), Oslo Metropolitan University.

Fra sine ulike ståsteder diskuterer samfunnsforskere, kunstnere, en arkitekt og en ung medvirker erfaringer og dilemmaer med å inkludere barn, ungdom og unge voksne som medvirkere. Leseren får konkrete eksempler fra medvirkningsprosesser og presentasjon av verktøy som er utviklet i samarbeid med ungdom, arkitekter og offentlig ansatte. Bidragene viser hvordan gode intensjoner om inkludering kan skjule makthierarkier, konflikter og interessemotsetninger. Samtidig peker boken på hvordan muligheten for kreativitet og nytenking er stor når unge inviteres inn til å medvirke i planleggingen av alt fra ungdomshus og skolegårder til parker og uteområder i nabolaget. Antologien gir inspirasjon til forskere, studenter, kommunalt ansatte, planleggere og andre praktikere som jobber med medvirkning i by- og stedsutvikling. Blant temaene som tas opp er medvirkning som medforsking, sosialt entreprenørskap og medvirkning i skolefag og i sosiokulturelle stedsanalyser, håndens kraft i kreative praksiser, samlokalisering som trend, digital og hybrid medvirkning og medvirkningens maktspill.     Beschreibung: This book, written by 12 authors, asks: Who governed the Nordic towns from c. 1500 to 1800? The book is inspired by pivotal studies undertaken by Finn-Einar Eliassen in the late 1990s concerning the progression of family dynasties in ruling several small towns in Norway from c. 1600–1800. Eliassen ascertained that 8–10 small Norwegian towns happened to be dominated by two-three families in economic, social, political and administrative matters. He maintained that ownership of the very ground upon which the town was built came to define a privatized lordship, not only in Norway but also in various peripheries in central and northern Europe. Our investigations explore quite opposite patterns. The Norwegian landlords more effectively dominated their towns – compared with landlords in Danish, Finnish, and Baltic towns – by actually living and working there, and due to their vast engagement in lumber trade and shipping. In other parts of the Nordic region the landlords normally did not reside in the towns or get involved in business in the town district. However, they possessed other types of power and authority. Finally, we assert that the paths to power and wealth in privatized monopoly towns lay in the establishment of social networks, the ownership of strategic land estates in connection with trade, industry and transport, and, above all, controlling the credit system that bound the peasants and other social groups to supply their masters with labour, lumber, agricultural products, and so on. However, the power of the dynasties had obvious limitations.
    Beschreibung: Denne boka kretser rundt spørsmålet om hvem som styrte de nordiske byene ca. 1500–1800. Boka – skrevet av tolv forfattere – er inspirert av Finn-Einar Eliassens pionerarbeid fra 1990-årene om familiedynastier i norske byer. Eliassen kom fram til at åtte–ti norske småbyer i perioden 1600–1800 ble dominert av to–tre familier økonomisk, sosialt, politisk, administrativt og kulturelt, noe han mener også har vært mønstre i periferier i Nord- og Sentral-Europa. Kilden til makt lå i det å eie bygrunnen. Våre undersøkelser viser andre mønstre. De norske godseierbyene ca. 1500–1800 skilte seg ut fra tilsvarende byer i resten av Norden på flere måter. I Norge kom byherrene til å styre og dominere mer, de var sterkt involvert i næringsvirksomheten, og de bodde i byene. I resten av Norden ble godseierbyene preget av andre økonomiske eliter og av at godseierne ikke residerte i byene. På den andre siden hadde danske, svenske og finske godseiere andre maktmuligheter enn de norske. Samtidig avdekker våre funn at det å eie grunnen ofte ikke var hovedkilden til makt og rikdom i en by. Dynastier og eliter fant ressursene i sosiale nettverk og strategisk eierskap i næringer og kredittsystemer. Like viktig var det at byherrenes makt i Norden på flere måter var begrenset.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: How to measure metacognition (not just) in gifted children. The publication deals with the topic of measuring metacognition, with special emphasis on a specific group of intellectually gifted children. It briefly presents the construct of metacognition itself, its relation to intellectual giftedness, together with a taxonomy of metacognitive phenomena. Next, the most important methods developed to assess metacognition are discussed and critically appraised. The monography covers both the methods, in which the data are registered during the execution of the stimulus task (on-line methods), and the methods, where the data are recorded with some time lag (off-line methods). The most extensive part of the publication is devoted to the topic of various measures, used to express the level of metacognitive monitoring.

    Beschreibung: Ministers, deacons, catechists and cantors are among the church professionals laypeople meet in the context of worship, other church services, and congregational activities. These professionals are upholding a social mission, influencing church practices, setting the tone and developing programs and services within their congregations. What are the hallmarks of the different professions within the church? What insight should church professionals have into each other’s identities and areas of expertise to collaborate and participate in interdisciplinary teamwork? And how, in practical terms, should they be lead? Profession and Leadership in the Church of Norway: Organizing Work of a Church in Change provides sociological and administrative insights into general and contextual phenomena in the church professions. Relationships between professions, administration and organization in the Church of Norway are analyzed in light of empirical studies and an institutional theoretical framework. The author discusses how the professions derive appropriate ways of organizing their work. A key finding in the book is that church professions are characterized by calling, autonomy and complexity. These particular features make value-based leadership especially well-suited to the church professions. Part of the work on a new national church law includes addressing central questions about how the Church of Norway, with its extensive range of services and activities, should be led and organized. This book contributes to a broader base of knowledge about administration and the role of the church professions in this complex. Profession and Leadership in the Church of Norway will be of interest to researchers in professional studies and in organization and management, as well as practitioners: employees, church leaders and advisory council members.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Physical activity as an effective means of non-pharmacological care in oncology. Much of the existing research confirms the assumption that regular physical activity can play a crucial role in nonpharmacological therapy and quality of life management in cancer survivors. The treatment of oncological diseases itself brings about numerous undesirable side effects, such as cardiotoxicity, anxiety, depression, sarcopenia, polyneuropathy, cancer fatigue and sleep disorders. Regular physical activity is associated with significant benefits for health including a lower risk of developing certain types of tumours and elimination of the accompanying undesirable effects of oncological treatment. A number of epidemiological studies found a correlation between regular physical activity and lower mortality linked to oncological diseases. The minimal amount of the activity needed to gain this benefit has not been established, however, the recommendations of ACSM indicate that at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity are needed per week. Physical exercise as nonpharmacological treatment is a domain of cancer survivors therapy whose aim is to incorporate targeted controlled exercise programmes into the overall treatment plan of the patients. Exercise programmes can be performed both in the duration of the illness as well as in the period prior to the treatment or in the course of adjuvant antitumour treatment (including chemotherapy) and in survivors. When prescribing physical activity it is necessary to take current health condition of the patient into account including their comorbidities, age or the level of physical fitness. If controlled physical activity is to become an indispensable part of oncological treatment it will be necessary to prove the therapy is safe and cost-effective.

The book serves as an introduction into pedagogical evaluation and is intended for (future) teachers of pre-primary, primary and secondary schools.     Beschreibung: Women's law, gender equality and non-discrimination law have constituted fields of research at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo for decades. En viktig del av samfunnsoppdraget til juristutdanningen er å skape forståelse for hvordan rettslige strukturer, regler og avgjørelser kan føre til – eller motvirke – ulikhet og diskriminering. Denne boken bringer ulike typer kjønnsperspektiv inn i en rekke av fagene som inngår i rettsvitenskapen. Denne antologien belyser disse spørsmålene fra ulike vinkler og ulike fagtradisjoner. Internasjonalisering i lærerutdanningen dreier seg gjerne om internasjonal praksis, og mange lærerutdanningsinstitusjoner har drevet med praksis i det globale sør i ulike varianter gjennom mange år. Bidragene i antologien er alle skrevet av fagansatte ved norske lærerutdanninger, som kommer fra ulike fagfelt som engelsk, norsk, pedagogikk, sosiologi, antropologi og samfunnsgeografi. Dette illustreres ved bruk av forskjellig teoretisk tilnærming, empirisk materiale og ulike analyseteknikker. Alle bidragene har kvalitative tilnærminger, hvor leseren møter både lærerstudentenes stemmer og stemmene til samarbeidspartnere i sør. Kapitlene belyser praksis og utenlandssemestre i Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania og Sør-Afrika. Ett kapittel dreieseg om praksis i en flyktningleir. Antologien reiser også kritiske spørsmål omkring internasjonalisering og hvordan det også innebærer en risiko for nykolonialisme, og at studentene kan se verden gjennom et «turistblikk». Det argumenteres for hvordan dette kan unngås gjennom grundig forberedelse, oppfølging og etterarbeid. Dette er den første antologien som omhandler forskning på praksis og lengre opphold i det globale sør, og den henvender seg til en bred målgruppe: fra politikere og byråkrater som legger til rette for studentmobilitet i høyere utdanning, til forskere, profesjonsutdannere og studenter. For profesjonsutdanninger som i dag har praksis i sør, vil bidragene kunne gi viktig innsikt i forberedelse før, oppfølging underveis og refleksjoner i etterkant av praksisoppholdet. Boka kan leses samlet med ulike teoretiske og metodiske perspektiver på studentmobilitet og praksis i det globale sør, men alle kapitlene er skrevet og fagfellevurdert som selvstendige tekster og kan leses som enkeltstående kapitler.

    Beschreibung: Fordommer sitter i språket og i måten vi snakker på. De kommer til uttrykk på forskjellige måter og kan brukes både som humor og hatefulle ytringer. Ofte bruker vi fordommer uten at vi engang er klar over det. Men hva er egentlig fordommer? Og hvem rammes av fordommene? Dette er relevante spørsmål i dagens skole. I Fagfornyelsen legges det vekt på at skolen «skal fremme demokratiske verdier og holdninger som motvekt mot fordommer og diskriminering». For å kunne jobbe aktivt med forebyggende arbeid i skolen er det derfor nødvendig å vite noe om hvordan og hvorfor fordommer oppstår, hvordan de brukes, og hvem som rammes. I Fordommer i skolen: Gruppekonstruksjoner, utenforskap og inkludering undersøker vi hvordan fordommer kommer til uttrykk blant elever, hvilke strategier lærere har for å håndtere fordomsfulle utsagn, og hvordan fordommer brukes og spilles ut i klasserommet. I boken analyseres også hvordan fordommer og ulike forståelser av fenomenet inngår som tema i opplæringsloven og i læreplanverket, og hvordan ulike minoritetsgrupper har blitt og fremdeles blir fremstilt i skolens læreverk. Et viktig formål med boken er å gi konkrete eksempler på utforskende undervisning og mulige undervisningsstrategier for å kunne forebygge og motvirke fordommer i skolen i dag. Boken er forskningsbasert og inneholder bidrag fra en rekke ulike fagfelt. Bidragene er relevante for lærerutdanning, lektorutdanning og PPU. Boken er også aktuell for skoleledere, rådgivere og lærere både i ungdomsskolen og på videregående trinn.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Sources and Distribution of Selected High and Late Medieval Pottery Products. The publication is focused on late medieval pottery products with higher aesthetical effect. The key group is represented by stove tiles, where the unifying elements of relief decoration helped to define series of motifs for stoves with specific iconographic concept, which were found in various locations. The same approach can be also used with small ceramic sculptures, aquamaniles and relief-decorated floor tiles, even though the achieved information value in these cases is much lower. Micropetrographic, XRF and other analyses helped to identify the production centres and the distribution model of these ceramic groups. 3D documentation enabled a detailed comparison of differences between individual reliefs and specific traces of manufacturing procedures. Individual chapters contain active links to the source database of analysed items and to 3D models of selected specimens from reference collections.

    Beschreibung: Fjordantologien 2022 handler om bærekraft, nærmere bestemt utfordringene med å realisere FNs bærekraftsmål fra 2015. Antologien inneholder 15 kapitler, hvor temaene spenner vidt. Her kan du blant annet lese om bærekraftig skogforvaltning, sosial bærekraft i turistnæringen, hvordan blokkjedeteknologi kan bidra til satsningen på fornybar energi, hvordan maritime bedrifter i Møre og Romsdal svarer på forventninger om bærekraftig utvikling, og hvordan tvprogrammet «Supernytt» formidler bærekraftbegrepet til barn. Samlet illustrerer kapitlene i denne antologien hvor komplekst bærekraftbegrepet er, og hvor vanskelig det er å nå målene. Et viktig funn er at vi må handle enhetlig om vi skal kunne realisere bærekraftsmålene, da de griper inn i hverandre, og det ikke nytter å løse dem enkeltvis. I tillegg må det forskning til, slik at vi som samfunn kan finne de beste løsningene for å innfri bærekraftsmålene. Denne antologien er et bidrag til denne forskningen. Forfatterne er i all hovedsak tilknyttet universitets- og høgskoleinstitusjoner i Kyst-Norge, fra Haugesund i sør til Kristiansund i nord. Unntakene representerer det mangfoldet av samarbeidspartnere som disse miljøene har forbindelser til både regionalt og nasjonalt.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Czech Problem Drama of the 1960s. In his monograph Czech Problem Drama of the 1960s, David Kroča (b. 1973), a literary scholar and educator at Masaryk University, focuses on a period that can in many respects be viewed as a turning point in the poetics of the original Czech drama. From the varied production of drama in the 1960s, which was rich in genre, he chose to research a specific stream called problem drama in which an ordinary dramatic conflict is substituted with an escalated confrontation of different opinions related to a particular problem. The introductory theoretical and context chapters consider the developmental tendencies in Czech drama as well as some important foreign resources. The core of the work consists of analytical and interpretative chapters which deal with the analysis of those dramas where the authors tackle serious existential problems and question social and moral responsibility.

    Beschreibung: This book presents an original historical source, entitled “An erudite and true narration of some changes that recently took place in the Grand Duchy of Moscow,” written by the Swedish ambassador to the court in Moscow and first printed in Stockholm in 1608. In his diplomatic report, the author vividly describes the political crisis in the Moscow empire, the tragic events of the Time of Troubles and the plots surrounding the successorship to the tsarist throne which he witnessed. He also depicts events that preceded these events, interpreting them in accordance with the territorial and confessional integrity of the Swedish Kingdom. In addition to the translation of the Swedish original into Czech, the book also contains a philological and historiographical essay, which sets the author’s work into the context of Swedish literature and political context at the turn of the 16th century. Thanks to its wide range of interpretive possibilities, the text is suitable material for students of philological and historical disciplines.

    Beschreibung: Kniha českému čtenáři zprostředkovává původní historický pramen „Učené a pravdivé vyprávění o některých změnách, jež se v nedávných letech udály v Moskevském velkoknížectví“, napsaný švédským vyslancem na moskevském dvoře a poprvé vydaný tiskem ve Stockholmu roku 1608. Autor ve své diplomatické zprávě barvitě líčí politickou krizi v moskevské říši, tragické události smuty a intriky kolem následnictví na carském trůnu, jejichž očitým svědkem se stal. Popisuje také předcházející události, jež interpretuje v souladu s územní i konfesní politikou Švédského království. Kniha vedle překladu švédského originálu do češtiny obsahuje též doprovodnou filologickou a historiografickou studii, zasazující autorovo dílo do kontextu švédské literatury i politických souvislostí na přelomu 16. a 17. století. Díky širokým interpretačním možnostem představuje vhodný materiál pro studium filologických i historických oborů.

    Beschreibung: Morsmålsfaget er stort og mangfoldig og omfatter mange deldisipliner. Det utgjør et «fagmassiv» som lærere, lærerutdannere og forskere må orientere seg i. I denne antologien er det samlet 13 artikler som demonstrerer eksempler på hvordan det både kan undervises i og forskes på morsmålsfaget. Boka inneholder artikler innenfor språkdidaktikk, litteraturdidaktikk og skrivedidaktikk og har empiri fra alle nivå i utdanningssystemet i Norge, Sverige, Danmark og Finland. Antologien speiler også at morsmålsfaget er i stadig bevegelse, og nye disipliner kommer til. Derfor har vi for eksempel med bidrag som digital skriving i sosiolingvistisk perspektiv, sanglyrikk som multimodalt uttrykk og pedagogisk transspråking. Antologien har blitt til i etterkant av en nordisk konferanse om morsmålsdidaktikk ved NTNU, Trondheim, i 2019. Konferansekomiteen var den samme som redaksjonen for denne antologien. Både konferansen og boka inngår i en rekke slike arrangement som går på omgang i morsmålsdidaktikkmiljøene i Norge, Sverige, Danmark og Finland. Det felles nordiske nettverket har navnet Nordisk nettverk for morsmålsdidaktisk forskning (NNMF).

    Beschreibung: This anthology deals with co-singing (Norwegian: samsang) in different life stages and various settings in a Scandinavian context. Co-singing forms an essential part of our shared cultural heritage. Co-singing involves all forms of singing-activities in which people coexist, and characterizes in various ways human companionship throughout the course of life, from cradle to grave. From a critical analytical perspective, the research in this anthology sheds light on several themes related to the importance and value of co-singing practice in terms of sensemaking and experiencing coherence in life. This involves musical, physical, psychological, emotional, cognitive, ethical, cultural, and social factors. The research project examines for instance the position of singing activities in Norwegian kindergartens and schools, co-singing and health-related topics, co-singing from a gender perspective, co-singing from a multicultural perspective, co-singing activities in light of motivation and coping, and also low-threshold, flexible daily life singing activities for persons with dementia and their relatives. Choir singing in various life stages, from childhood to age of retirement, are also explored in several chapters. With its broadly arranged and pluralistic approach, this anthology provides a multi-faceted contribution to the development of knowledge in the research field of music associated with the power and legitimacy of co-singing at the individual, group, and societal levels. The contributing authors have their practical and scientific experience from higher music education within the fields of music pedagogy, music performance, music therapy, music and health, and also from other types of cultural and musical practices.
    Beschreibung: Denne antologien omhandler samsang i ulike livsfaser og sammenhenger i en skandinavisk kontekst. Samsang utgjør en vesentlig del av vår felles kulturarv. Samsang, som innebærer alle former for sang der mennesker synger sammen, karakteriserer på ulike måter menneskelig samvær gjennom hele livsløpet, fra vugge til grav. Med et kritisk analytisk blikk belyser forskningsarbeidene i antologien varierte tematikker omkring samsangpraksisens betydning og verdi for meningsskaping og opplevelse av sammenheng i livet knyttet til musikalske, fysiske, psykiske, emosjonelle, kognitive, etiske, kulturelle og sosiale faktorer. Undersøkelsene innbefatter blant annet sangens stilling i norske barnehager og skoler, samsang og helserelaterte temaer, samsang i et kjønnsperspektiv, samsang i et flerkulturelt perspektiv, samsangaktiviteter i lys av mestring og motivasjon, samt hverdagslige samsangaktiviteter for personer med demens og deres pårørende. Korsang i ulike livsfaser, fra oppvekstår til pensjonsalder, tematiseres også i flere kapitler. Med sin bredt anlagte og pluralistiske tilnærming, gir antologien et mangesidig bidrag til kunnskapsutviklingen på det musikkpedagogiske området knyttet til samsangens kraft og legitimitet både på individ-, gruppe- og samfunnsnivå.     Beschreibung: Why do children and young people need art? How do we rationalize the significance of art in society? This anthology is based on research carried out by members of the multidisciplinary research group Art and Young People at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Agder in Kristiansand. The contributing authors argue in favor of research into children’s and young people’s actual experience of art and artistic practices as well as issues within the arts that affect them indirectly. The book’s subtitle indicates a desire to employ a wider understanding of the notions of art and childhood and youth, which is also evident in the themes, content and research approaches it includes. The chapters span both children’s and young people’s interaction with visual art, music, theater within and outside the context of preschool, school and extracurricular programs, and projects that are more on the periphery of these areas. The authors are thus not just interested in the importance of art to children and young people, but to society in general as well. This anthology is aimed at readers across a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, but will also be of interest to all those concerned with art’s place and meaning in schools, in society, and in research itself.

Forfatterne argumenterer både for betydningen av å forske på barn og unges møter med kunst og kunstnerisk praksis direkte og det å forske på kunstfaglige problemstillinger som indirekte berører barn og unge. This collective monograph explores the development of national myth on the basis of a variety of materials from Russian culture, beginning from the Late Middle Ages and finishing with the Soviet epoch. The main part of the study is devoted to the Imperial period — the epoch during which the notion of nation arises. Analyzing the mechanisms used to construct national ideology, the authors especially stress the participation of literature and art in nation building: the role of the press, theatre, writers and their works in their dependence upon historical matters and political conjuncture.

    Beschreibung: Press, Profession and Politics is a festschrift in honor of Paul Bjerke, who celebrated his 70th birthday on 2 October 2022. Bjerke has had a far-reaching career in journalism, research and as a social commentator. This festschrift consists of research articles, professional literature, and congratulatory texts from colleagues and collaborators in the media and academic communities. The anthology includes new analyses of various aspects of professional journalistic practice and reflections on the realities of journalism today. Three key concepts are central to an understanding of Paul Bjerke’s research work: press, profession and politics. These concepts comprise the title of the festschrift and are also used to structure its content, with the goal in mind of providing insight into some of the work Bjerke has contributed, as well as linking the texts in this anthology to his research activities. In addition, we gain insight into his many years as a journalist, news editor, and finally, the editor of Klassekampen.     Beschreibung: Det norske forskningsprosjektet Digitization and Diversity – Potentials and Challenges for Diversity in the Culture and Media Sector (DnD) spør: Hvordan påvirker digitaliseringen ulike mangfoldsdimensjoner i kultur- og mediesektoren? Kapitlene i denne boken belyser digitalisering og mangfoldsproblematikk både kritisk, empirisk, teoretisk, historisk og politisk. De har det til felles at de presenterer perspektiver og resultater som viser at mangfold har blitt en mye mer heterogen og sammensatt utfordring etter digitaliseringen. Det har oppstått nye spenninger mellom homogenisering og mangfold. Vi har konsentrert oss om digitaliseringen i fire bransjer: bok og bibliotek, museum, film og kino samt pressen med vekt på lokalavisene. Grunnen til at akkurat disse bransjene ble valgt, er at Norge var spesielt tidlig ute med digitalisering her – de fremstår som eksemplariske case. Å opprettholde og å styrke et mangfold av stemmer, innhold og uttrykksformer samt å sørge for tilgjengelighet og et mangfoldig forbruk demografisk sett, er en av hovedgrunnene til at vi har offentlige støtteordninger for kultur- og mediesektoren. Spørsmålet om hvordan mangfoldet «oppfører seg» i en digitalisert kultur- og mediesektor, befinner seg derfor midt i denne politikkens kjernevirksomhet. Digitalisering forfølges av sin dobbeltgjenger – eldre praksiser, forretningsmodeller og forestillinger – på godt og vondt. Digitalisering er ikke en ren foreteelse, men en uren legering av praksiser.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Geography of barriers: Examples of good barrier-free implementations The book Geography of Barriers: Examples of Good Barrier-free Practice offers a collection of texts that are interested in making space, services, and information accessible. Thus, the collection is primarily about barriers, their nature, localization, and possible effects. Under barriers, most people imagine material barriers for wheelchair users in the form of steps or sidewalk curbs. Only a few would think that barriers can be represented by loosely placed rugs, unfit lighting, large glass surface, a doorbell without visual output, unwanted attention, frequent asking and offering help, lack of language knowledge, pity, etc. Thus, the book broadens awareness of what can be considered a barrier. The texts are divided into three parts – theoretical, methodic, and empirical – and their arrangement follows the logic of thematic focusing from the most general to the most concrete types of barriers. While the theoretical part places the policies of accessibility into the wider context of scientific disciplines and their development – such as disability studies, disability geography or service design, the methodic part discusses the introduction of accessibility policies in the city of Brno, describing how it tried to make its space, services, and information more accessible. Finally, the empirical part offers 18 examples of relatively good barrier-free implementations that have been recently realized in Brno. This division reflects an effort to target several groups of readers. The first part thus addresses mainly students interested in accessibility issues, the second, methodic part is intended for politicians and municipalities searching for inspiration to implement their own accessibility measures and policies. The last part stating concrete examples of good barrier-free implementations is aimed at general public, at people who like to think about a whole range of topics related to accessibility of space, services, and information.

The text presents intervention approaches to the development of the phonetic-phonological language level, focuses on strategies to support the development of articulatory ability and hearing perception in the pre-compulsory education period and selected aids for intervention in the phonetic-phonological language difficulties. Learning support also offers an insight into approaches to pupils in relation to their involvement in a class or group collective, particularly in relation to disruption in communication based on psychogenic factors, but also as a result of serious forms of disability.

    Beschreibung: Society’s use and management of water relies on professional expertise spanning diverse fields: from biology and technology to economics and law. This book examines current issues related to regulating water through chapters summarizing various sets of regulation as well as chapters that take a scientific deep dive into selected themes. The diversity of professional expertise is also reflected in the law aspect. We explore such subjects as surface runoff, natural disasters, drinking water, groundwater, salmon, hydropower, and human rights, as well as general impact assessment requirements and duty of knowledge in environmental law administration. A key objective of the book has been to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of the legal circumstances associated with water, and in addition, deliberate the pros and cons of some of the current regulations. This book will be particularly useful for those who in various ways support and facilitate procedures within the public sector at both the national and municipal levels. It will also be useful for private sector actors seeking familiarity with legal questions that can arise in relation to public administration and other private actors. From a broader perspective, we hope the book can help to throw light on conflicts between different interests and groups within society that occur, for example, when introducing fees, special injunctions against private actors, and requirements for knowledge basis. This book project is the result of legal research conducted at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and is supplemented by national expertise in several areas. It has been edited by Steinar Taubøll, a professor at NMBU’s Department of Property and Law. Taubøll has a background in both law and the natural sciences, and extensive experience with interdisciplinary work.
    Beschreibung: Håndtering og bruk av vann i samfunnet krever et faglig mangfold fra biologi og teknikk til økonomi og juss. Denne boken drøfter aktuelle temaer knyttet til rettslig regulering av vann, både i form av oversiktskapitler om ulike regelsett og gjennom vitenskapelige dypdykk i utvalgte temaer. Den faglige spennvidden gjenspeiler seg også innen det juridiske. I boken finner man stoff om overvannshåndtering, naturfare, drikkevann, grunnvann, villaks, kraftutbygging, menneskerettigheter, samt om generelle utredningskrav og kunnskapsplikter i miljørettsforvaltning. Et sentralt siktemål er å bygge opp tverrfaglig forståelse av gjeldende juridiske forhold knyttet til vann, og dessuten sette noen av dagens reguleringer under debatt. Boken retter seg særlig til de ressurspersonene som på ulike måter støtter saksbehandlingen i stat og kommune. Boken antas også å være nyttig for private aktører som vil gjøre seg mer kjent med rettsspørsmål som kan oppstå i forhold til forvaltningen og til andre private aktører. I et bredere perspektiv er det dessuten ønskelig at boken kan bidra til å belyse konflikter mellom ulike hensyn og grupper i samfunnet, for eksempel ved innføring av gebyrer, pålegg rettet mot private, innføring av tyngende vilkår og krav til kunnskap og faktagrunnlag. Bokprosjektet springer ut av den juridiske forskningen ved Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet, og har i tillegg knyttet til seg nasjonal spisskompetanse på mange temaer. Bokas redaktør er dosent Steinar Taubøll ved Institutt for eiendom og juss ved NMBU, som har naturfaglig og juridisk utdannelse, samt lang erfaring med tverrfaglig arbeid.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Classroom Management: Student Teachers and Mentor Teachers. Classroom management is one of the decisive factors in the case of beginning teachers regarding whether they remain in the profession and in the case of experienced teachers regarding their satisfaction in the profession. For beginning teachers, it is an area that they seldom learnt at their faculties and that they learn first in their teaching practice. Yet when teachers are not able to manage their class, they are not able to teach their pupils something either. The monograph presents findings about student teachers in their teaching practice and their mentor teachers at lower secondary schools. Our research is based on classroom observation, interviews, and questionnaires. We study behavioural and instructional management and describe their relation to need for closure.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Museum professions and the public 2: Reflection of the educational phenomenon in contemporary museum practice. Among topical issues in present-day museology and museum practice is the dynamic relationship between science and education. The functionality of this interconnection in museum practice is projected into various forms of communication of research results achieved by professional museum workers to the general public. This mainly concerns the creation of well-understandable and visitor-attractive temporary and permanent exhibitions, specialised education programmes for schoolchildren or other groups, popularising thematic lectures and other accompanying programmes and cultural events, which at the same time observe the didactic rules of scientificity, presentiveness, interconnection of theory and practice etc. The publication offers a current insight into selected scientific disciplines involved in museum institutions and into the specifics of museum practice in the field of popularisation and mediation of their educational potential to the general public.

    Beschreibung: Acta Slavica Estonica is an international series of publications on current issues of Russian and other Slavic languages, literatures and cultures. The volume „Anthropocentrism in language and speech” was prepared in memory of Mikhail Shelyakin (1927–2011), a long-time professor of the Russian language at the University of Tartu. The relation between language and the human being was M. Shelyakin’s central topic during the final period of his research. The articles focus on anthropocentrism of the linguistic sign and its realization in speech. They continue and develop the problems studied by M. Shelyakin mainly on the basis of Russian. The volume consists of three parts: anthropocentrism in word-formation and grammar, anthropocentrism in phraseology and the lexical system, and the impact of anthropocentrism on contrastive studies, translation, and the teaching of foreign languages.

    Beschreibung: Collective mobilization arises in the context of social movements and people’s desire for change. In this book, collective mobilization is discussed in light of a variety of perspectives, theories and methodological entryways. Grassroots mobilization is an important principle in community work along with citizen collaboration, influence, and co-creation in the development of local environments and communities. This anthology explores current issues related to welfare policies and practices, as well as global challenges associated with environmental and societal problems. The authors show how community work as a subject, theory, method, and field of research can contribute to greater understanding and development of sustainable solutions. The chapters include examples from a minority organization’s work to counteract negative social control, peer-support consultants’ contributions in treatment programs, young persons’ entry into and resolution of conflicts on social media, union organization of women in India, and neighborhood development planning in urban areas. With Freire’s consciousness-raising teachings on teamwork and Putnam’s and Bourdieu’s ideas about social capital as an underpinning, the authors examine how collective mobilization happens and how it is exercised. As such, the book is a contribution to disciplines and educational programs within the social sciences and social professions. Collective Mobilization is relevant for students, researchers and practitioners within various disciplines and professional areas where collective approaches to society’s challenges are of interest. The book is the result of a collaboration that originated in the community work research group at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. The editors are Gudmund Ågotnes and Anne Karin Larsen, associate professor and associate professor emerita, respectively, at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Personal marketing in management of human resources Personnel marketing is currently taking shape as a separate industry that connects the management of human resources with marketing and places each employee into the role of a customer. The connection of these two areas creates an effect with synergy, which leads to better work with human capital. However, even despite the current need for innovative approaches to acquiring employees, the potential of personnel marketing is unsatisfactorily utilised both in the Czech Republic and abroad. In professional and scientific literature, foreign and mainly domestic, there are very few publications focused on personnel marketing comprehensively. They have explained its innovativeness, how activities carried out in personnel marketing differ from “classic” personnel-related activities. What is the relationship between personnel marketing and the employer’s brand. It is synonymous, or building the brand is part of the communication strategy. Something else unknown relating to personnel marketing is its practical use. In Czech and world literature there is a lack of information about reality if practical application of personnel marketing is tied to an enterprise’s size. It is also possible in connection with personnel marketing to state critically that in both professional and scientific literature, there are rarely models available which illustrate factors leading to job satisfaction. In the terminology of personnel marketing these are factors of internal personnel marketing. Models which would currently illustrate factors of external marketing and/or enable understanding of personnel marketing as a whole were not identified by the author. The main objective of the monograph was to define tools and attributes of external and internal personnel marketing and resources supporting employees’ satisfaction and stability, which are important for effective management of human resources. In order to achieve this objective, quality research was conducted, along with two mutually corresponding quantitative studies – pre-research and main research. The aim of the qualitative research was to find out whether business practice is familiar with personnel marketing and how it perceives the contents of personnel marketing and to identify tools of internal and external personnel marketing applied in practice. The outputs of the qualitative research were the basis and source for realisation of quantitative research studies. Quantitative research was carried out in two steps. The pre-research research was focused on the most important employers in the Liberec Region, and the respondents were experts in human resources from these companies. The aim was to determine the perception of personnel marketing, determine the numerousness and effectiveness of personnel marketing tools, to determine the importance of individual resources for stabilisation/satisfaction of employees. Based on the results of this quantitative research, it was not possible to determine whether application of personnel marketing was tied to the company’s size. Therefore, the main quantitative research was conducted. The main quantitative research was based on findings of pre-research and was focused all on employers in the Liberec Region. The respondents were HR experts from these companies. The aim was to determine the perception of personnel marketing, along with determination of the frequency of use and the importance of personnel marketing tools and to determine the degree of importance of resources that would lead to satisfaction/stabilisation of employees. The aim of the finding was also to determine whether the size of the company had an effect on individual responses. For example, an effort was made to determine if the importance of individual personnel marketing tools varied depending on company size.     Beschreibung: Animal Welfare Management in Norway is about how authorities can best promote high standards of well-being and respect for animals. In Norway, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority has primary responsibility for ensuring that businesses and persons comply with animal welfare laws and regulations. This book presents the results of a unique research project on the effects of the Food Safety Authority’s efforts within land-based food industries, in which key questions were: What kinds of regulatory measures and oversight are most effective? Is organizing all regulatory activity under one authority worthwhile? Is industry receptive to oversight? How can the authority utilize measures such as guidelines, warnings or punishment to best effect? This book provides new insight into challenges associated with animal welfare management, an area that has previously been under-researched in Norway. The book is geared toward persons with supervisory roles as well as those working in industries that handle animals, but it will also be of interest to anyone concerned with animal welfare or oversight in general. The book can also be relevant for instruction at the higher educational level. The contributors have backgrounds in political science, law, sociology, social anthropology, veterinary and other livestock-related fields, as well as inspection services. The book has been edited by Stig S. Gezelius, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, and Frode Veggeland, a professor at the University of Oslo and senior researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO). The editors are experienced in research into public administration and implementation of legislation.

I Norge er det Mattilsynet som har hovedansvaret for å kontrollere at virksomheter og personer overholder dyrevelferdsloven. Denne boka presenterer resultatene fra et unikt forskningsprosjekt om virkninger av Mattilsynets virksomhet i landbaserte matnæringer. Sentralt står spørsmålet om hva slags tilsyn som virker best. Er det hensiktsmessig å samle alle tilsynsoppgaver i én etat? Er næringen mottakelig for styring? Hvordan kan tilsynet bruke virkemidler – som veiledning, advarsler eller straff – på en hensiktsmessig måte? Boka gir ny innsikt i utfordringer knyttet til dyrevelferdsforvaltningen. Forvaltning av dyrevelferdsloven er knapt studert i Norge tidligere. Boka retter seg særlig mot tilsynsforvaltningen og aktører innen næringer som håndterer dyr, men vil være interessant for alle som er opptatt av dyrevelferd eller av tilsynsvirksomhet generelt. Den er egnet for undervisningsformål på universitets- og høyskolenivå. Kapittelforfatterne har bakgrunn fra statsvitenskap, jus, sosiologi, sosialantropologi, veterinær- og husdyrfag, så vel som fra inspeksjonsvirksomhet. Bokas redaktører er Stig S.     Beschreibung: The ABCs of Complaint: The Book of Lamentations Through the Ages analyzes the biblical Book of Lamentations. Central to the book are the questions: How can we translate the Hebrew text while at the same time taking into consideration the poetic devices of the source text and insights from recent research into biblical Hebrew grammar? What are the literary forms and content of the poems? How have readers read, understood and used Lamentations over the course of its reception history? The author examines Lamentations’ literary form, its religion-historical, theological and historical content, and its contexts. In addition, selected stations along Lamentations’ nomadic journey through reception history are explored. The book combines historical-critical, literary and form-critical methods. The five poems of Lamentations are analyzed according to the categories orientation (being at equilibrium), disorientation (a state of being out of balance), and reorientation (a state of existence where equilibrium has been restored), inspired by Walter Brueggemann’s typology of psalms. Based on a meticulous philological analysis of the Hebrew text, the author presents a new, transparent Norwegian translation. A distinctive feature of this translation is that it, in several instances, interprets the Hebrew perfect (qatal) as a so-called precative perfect (“perfect of prayer”). The ABCs of Complaint is relevant for students of theology and religion, researchers, church employees, lay people, and all who are interested in Biblical lament literature and images of God from a historical perspective on theology and religion.
    Beschreibung: Klagens ABC: Boken Klagesangene i dens samtid og ettertid analyserer den bibelske boken Klagesangene. Sentralt står spørsmålene: Hvordan kan vi oversette den hebraiske teksten og samtidig ta hensyn til grunntekstens poetiske virkemidler og innsikter fra nyere forskning på bibelhebraisk grammatikk? Hva er diktenes litterære form og innhold? Hvordan har lesere lest, forstått og brukt Klagesangene gjennom dens resepsjonshistorie? Forfatteren drøfter Klagesangenes litterære form, dens religionshistoriske, teologiske og historiske innhold og dens kontekster. I tillegg drøftes utvalgte stasjoner langs Klagesangenes nomadiske vandring gjennom resepsjonshistorien. Boken kombinerer historisk-kritiske, litterære og formkritiske metoder. De fem diktene i Klagesangene analyseres ut fra kategoriene orientering (en tilværelse i likevekt), desorientering (en virkelighet ute av balanse) og nyorientering (en tilværelse hvor likevekten er gjenopprettet), inspirert av Walter Brueggemanns salmetypologi. På grunnlag av en nitid filologisk analyse av den hebraiske teksten presenterer forfatteren en ny, transparent norsk oversettelse. Et kjennetegn ved oversettelsen er at den i flere tilfeller forstår hebraisk perfektum (qatal) som en såkalt prekativ perfektum («bønneperfektum»).     Beschreibung: Title in English: Education of Pupils with Learning Disabilities – Mathematics. Education of pupils with learning disabilities has been in the centre of attention of teachers, parents as well as the general public. When solving our project we verified several ways of teaching mathematics at an ordinary primary school, which might help included pupils to handle some of their problems with this subject. Key activities had been prepared in order to introduce new approaches to teaching pupils with learning disorders in heterogeneous classes, with respect to development and strengthening of pupils' competences. Our project gave a positive outcome in changing attitudes of the included pupils to mathematics and improvement of their results. Also, the structured way of teaching mathematics helped most pupils in the class.

Video research is, and can be employed for, so much more that standing in a classroom and filming with a camera. That is what we hope to achieve with this book – to demonstrate the inherent flexibility in video, that it can serve as one tool among many and be utilized in a variety of settings in several different ways. We want to emphasize the fact that you don’t need a professional lab with lots of equipment to do quality video research. All you need is a camera, a microphone, and a good plan for what you can, and cannot, capture in your project. Video Research in Educational Settings: Diverse Video Data in Pedagogical Research and Development is written primarily for other researchers, including those who are just beginning their research activities (such as master students and PhD candidates) and are interested in discovering how flexible, applicable and creative data collection can be with the help of video, and how rich the data material one obtains can be. The chapters represent a broad cross-disciplinary approach, yet with one common denominator: the use of video in different educational arenas, not only for data collection, but also for stimulating reflection, learning and greater expertise.

These are early intervention and special needs centres which combine the domain of social and school care. The text includes an overview of diagnostic methods concerning the early age as well as the summary of the diagnostic process in children with hearing disability at pre-school and school age. Students would be able to study the examples of tests and materials applicated in practice with the focus on the organization and principles of the tasks. This material is aimed to create a successful combination with the lectures and discussions. The text is designed as a study and supportive material for the group and individual work. The following aim is to share the experience during the debates.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Special pedagogical diagnostics in education of individuals with physical disability Limited and disordered movement or ability to move has an impact on the educational process and vocational training of the people with physical disability. It is not always possible to be educated at the place of living, because all schools have non barrier access and are not able to ensure optimal conditions for inclusive education. Immobility often means limited participation of pupil in some lessons, limits the choice of the leisure time activities and complicates independent movement (on a wheelchair) in the social environment due to the lack of the non-barrier access to pavements, shopping centres and cultural centres and offices. In some cases, persons with severe disability have limited life space and are often socially isolated. Together with the inclusive trends in the society it is necessary to create resources which enable to teachers, assistants and leisure time teachers to work with people with physical disability. The base of presented e-book is aimed on the support including the educational process and the aim is to summarise and present possible intervention and compensation. The studying text should make the orientation in the presented field easier and provide support to students and special needs teachers and to other specialists to solve the problems in the sphere of support of people with physical disability.

    Beschreibung: Which voices, bodies and practices have expressed critical powerlessness in the face of institutional power, and who is expressing this today? What is at play, and what is the root of this powerlessness? These questions are at the core of this book. With Michel Foucault’s theory of power and powerlessness as a point of departure, the contributing authors analyze and discuss the many conflicts and tension that arise when service users and patients take (or relinquish) a particular position. Institutions and professional practitioners have used and still use traditions, theories and methods that often weaken more than strengthen service users’, patients’ and clients’ own volition and subjectivity. The chapters are by researchers in a variety of disciplines including theology, nursing, ethics, child welfare, disability research, history, diakonia, and social work. In the context of these fields, recognizing and emphasizing people’s dignity and promoting equity are explored. But both historically and at present, research and experience show that the opposite also occurs. The ethical takes place between power, powerlessness and practice.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Communication and simulation techniques in deaf education: Methodical texts for the MUNI 4.0 project The text defines the basic concepts related to the compensation of hearing impairment. There are presented current possibilities of auditory prosthetics and it´s use in the everyday life of an individual and also in the educational process, including wireless technologies. Another part is devoted to the communication system option – visual-motor and auditory-social. The choice of the appropriate communication system depends on the individual needs. The authors main goal is to stress the importance of the early functional communication launching and also the of functional literacy in individuals with hearing impairment. The presented material should be used as a study support, which could follow the interpretation carried out during teaching session.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Education of Students with Asperger Syndrome in the Inclusive Classroom. The methodological guide focuses on developing social, emotional, and communication skills of students with Asperger syndrome and their classmates, teachers, assistant teachers, and the school staff. We aim to extend knowledge on the specific approaches to students with AS in the inclusive classroom. We offer coping strategies in situations arising from the interaction between the school actors. A classroom adaptation and fostering positive relationships between classmates are the critical factors for positive school experiences of everybody. We present specific cases from the participatory classroom observation. Furthermore, we discuss the difficulties in the inclusive classroom and offer incentives to prevent these situations. We provide the readers with the specific activities for the groups with the students with AS.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Why education and its actors fail : Cognitive landscapes and nationalism. Why education reforms are often unsuccessful? Why is the school environment essentially toxic and systemically hindering the education process? Why, despite the sincere efforts of enlightened headmasters and teachers to change the face of the school, is it not actually transforming it? The book shows that reforms only affect the surface of schools. The core of the school institution is governed by rationality, which is associated with the industrial nationalist era. This rationality, at many levels – from state, to regional, to the level of everyday action of all actors – contradicts the structure of the globalizing world, its networking and non-hierarchical nature. In this new world, the institution of the school is still an institution that systematically norms and homogenizes the population and excludes all “inadaptable”. We are on the threshold of a whole new era, but schools sound with the rhythm of the 19th century.

    Beschreibung: Norsk atten- og nittenhundretalls modernisering og demokratiutvikling har ofte blitt fortolket innenfor sekulære rammer. Men religion og religiøse aktører spilte sentrale roller i norsk nasjonsbygging, noe som kommer spesielt tydelig fram sett i et transnasjonalt perspektiv. Ved å forfølge ulike protestantiske impulser, aktører og transnasjonale nettverk ønsker forfatterne å bidra til ny kunnskap om forholdet mellom religion, sekularisering og modernisering i norsk historie fra 1840-tallet fram til 1980-tallet. Religionen som utforskes, er ulike former for protestantisk kristendom, men ikke bare fra et norsk statskirkelig ståsted. Tre av kapitlene analyserer ulike norske minoritetskristne perspektiv på forhandlinger om det religiøse og det sekulære blant annet vis-a-vis den lutherske statsreligionen. De resterende kapitlene indikerer hvordan norsk statsreligion i praksis var mer heterogen enn man gjerne antar, på bakgrunn av organisasjoner og aktørers tilknytning til det statskirkelige lutherske. Boken analyserer hvordan mange norske kvinner og menn, uavhengig av klasse- og geografisk bakgrunn, ble påvirket av internasjonale, protestantiske strømninger. I framveksten av det moderne Norge både utfordret og fornyet disse strømningene statskirken, samtidig som de førte til opphevingen av statskirkens formelle livssynsmonopol. Strømningene inspirerte også til modernisering og profesjonalisering av helse- og sosialarbeid i nasjonens senter så vel som i periferien. Flere av kapitlene omhandler ulike aspekt av forholdet mellom kristen aktivisme og det som kan oppfattes som sekulær velferdspraksis i sosialhistorisk sammenheng. Med forfattere fra fagfeltene teologi, religionsvitenskap, kirkehistorie og historie er denne boken et bidrag til dypere og mer nyanserte forståelser av det norske samfunnet i tidsperioden 1846–1986.

Forventninga om å sjå sjø- og landområde i samanheng på tvers av kommune- og sektorgrenser er også sentral i boka. Felles for alle artiklane i boka er at dei tek opp og diskuterer dagsaktuelle fenomen i den norske kystsona. Boka inneheld både planfaglege, samfunnsfaglege og juridiske fagartiklar. Enkelte artiklar er skrivne i samarbeid mellom forfattarar med ståstad i ulike fag for å sikre tverrfaglege tilnærmingar. Boka inneheld også artiklar frå fagpersonar i forvaltninga som dagleg handterer problemstillingar om bruk og vern av sjø. Eit gjennomgåande trekk i boka er korleis planlegging etter plan- og bygningslova fungerer som integrerande reiskap i kystsona, i samspel med sektorlovverket, og kva forfattarane meiner er dei viktigaste utfordringane for å oppnå ei slik meir integrert forvaltning av kystsona i åra som kjem. Boka er redigert av Knut Bjørn Stokke, førsteamanuensis ved Fakultet for landskap og samfunn, Norges miljø- og biovitenskapelige universitet (NMBU) og prosjektleiar i PLANCOAST Katrine Broch Hauge, førsteamanuensis ved Nordisk institutt for sjørett, Universitetet i Oslo.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Methodology of working with inclusive class collective with focus on pupils with impaired communication ability. The theoretical part describes the bases for the communication process and its disruption in a broader context, focusing on school age and reflection in the current and educational communication situation. The research part offers the results of the survey, which results from long-term cooperation with two primary schools of inclusive type, in which pupils with different forms of special educational needs are educated. In these schools, precisely, in these classrooms in which pupils with impaired communication ability were educated, the activities aimed at strengthening communicative competence and social ties were carried out at regular intervals during one school year.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Methods of causal analysis for measuring the sales support efficiency. In recent years, company costs associated with sales promotion activities have continued to rise in developed economies, and yet many studies show that such sales promotion activities are very often unprofitable, and in many cases even result in losses. One cause of this undesirable phenomenon may be inadequate analytical tools. The use of adequate analytical tools would make it possible to reliably measure the effectiveness of sales promotion activities. The most commonly used analytical tools often lead to biases when estimating the effectiveness of promotion activities. This is because these tools cannot take into account a number of factors which change over time, may affect the profitability indicators and are not controlled when performing an estimate with the common tools. The monograph offers a new approach to estimating baseline sales (i.e. the sales figures as they would be if sales promotion activity had not taken place) using causal analysis methods. The suggested approach removes the bias of an estimator resulting from the change of factors over time, while at the same time it is simple enough to be implemented in common business practice. The monograph also presents the methods of causal analysis. Despite their potential to successfully deal with a number of marketing and management issues, these methods are rarely used, either in the Czech Republic or internationally.

    Beschreibung: Civil drones are about to become a billion industry in Norway, and they are often touted as Norway´s new oil. But what exactly do we mean by civil drones, and how can we best ensure that they are used responsibly in society? That is the main question to be discussed in this book. Drones in Civil Society elucidates the topic from many different perspectives. Who are the various actors involved, and how do they work together? What are the differences between civil and military uses of drones? How do we differentiate between the hobby pilot and the professional drone operator, and how can students be trained in responsible, experimental investigation of drone technology? And not least: What happens to the privacy protection of the individual citizen in the midst of all this? Men hva er sivile droner, og hvordan kan vi best sikre at droner brukes på ansvarlig vis i samfunnet vårt? Det er hovedspørsmålet som diskuteres i denne boka. Droner i sivilsamfunnet belyser temaet fra mange ulike vinkler. Hvem er aktørene, og hvordan samhandler de? Hva er egentlig forskjellen på sivil og militær dronebruk? Hva skiller hobbypiloter fra profesjonelle operatører, og hvordan kan studenter trenes i ansvarlig, eksperimentell utforskning av droneteknologi? Og ikke minst: Hva skjer med personvernet og enkeltmenneskene midt oppi alt dette? Den raske utviklingen på feltet tyder på at droner om kort tid vil være en integrert del av vår nye hverdag.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Opportunities for Development of Learner Autonomy in English Lessons This monography deals with the opportunities for development of learner autonomy that teachers provide in their English lessons at lower-secondary schools. The conducted research shows the opportunities that were provided, the nature of observed English lessons with regards to learner autonomy and also teacher beliefs about learner autonomy. Moreover, research findings discuss the connection between teacher beliefs and observed lessons. The monography also describes in detail the creation of a research instrument that can be used for indirect observation of these opportunities in class. The monography points out the importance and diversity of developing learner autonomy and the research results are relevant both for primary and secondary school teachers as well as for university teachers and researchers preparing students for teaching carreer.

Musicians work in many different fields, across a broad spectrum of professional roles, and they express themselves in many different genres. The main sources are Norwegian and Danish literature on legal and state theory, including literature that interprets the Constitution’s provisions on religion. The analysis shows that constitutional and state philosophical theories on religion and state had significant impact on the development of the politics of religion in Norway.
