    Description / Table of Contents: The collection of articles contains the latest materials on the state of study of biological resources of the State Nature Reserve Ust-Lensky and adjacent territories. Information on the distribution of fungi of resource value is given. An overview of the state of study of the algae of the Lena Delta and adjacent areas, an annotated list of algae, indicating the authors of the study and the collection points of the actual material. The distribution of tree and shrub vegetation (larch and alder) on the border of the tundra zone, within the protected area «Sokol» (right Bank of the Lena river) is considered. Data on the structure and distribution of the f ish and birds of the Lena Delta are presented. The information about the current state and features of the ecology of a large ungulates mammal introduced in the territory of the reserve — muskox is given.

    Description: "In 1994, at the age of twenty five years old, when the terrible “shattering that comes with the sexual assault ”doubled deep into her body and thoughts of suicide were always around, Erin Manning wrote The Perfect Manga on a almost feverish state: nineteen chapters in nineteen days, a kind self-rescue operation where writing has become a way of make (and feel) life in another way. The articles are divided into four thematic sets, the common denominator of which is the concern about the drifting of the comprehensive democratic German and Nordic Bildung/Didactic curriculum tradition into the narrower, competence and skills driven Anglo-American education and curriculum, shaped by the paradoxical alliance of assumedly apolitical instrumental learning theories and neoliberal policy measures.
    Description: Tämä artikkelikokoelma jatkaa keskustelua, joka käynnistyi vuonna 2017 julkaistussa ensimmäisessä suomenkielisessä opetussuunnitelmatutkimusta käsittelevässä teoksessa. Kirjan artikkelit jakaantuvat neljään teemakokonaisuuteen. Käsiteltyjä teemoja yhdistää huoli saksalais-pohjoiseurooppalaisen Bildung/Didaktiikka -opetussuunnitelmatradition ajautumisesta entistä ahtaammalle oppimisteorioiden jäsentämän, taitoihin ja kompetensseihin rajoittuvan, näennäisesti epäpoliittisen angloamerikkalaisen curriculum-opetussuunnitelmatradition sekä sen poliittisen aisaparin, uusliberalismin, puristuksessa.

    Description / Table of Contents: The authors completed collecting and arranging plates of photomicrographs for common pollen and spores in Quaternary strata. Given China's vast territory, complex vegetation types, a variety of plants, and polen grains with similar morphology probably produced by different plant species in different regions. We have organized this book's photomicrographs of pollen grains and spores in the division of China into five regions, i.e. northwest,northern, southeast, south and southwest China. Photomicrographs of pollen grains and spores in each region are arranged by plant classification system i.e. in order of algae, bryophyte, pteridophyte, gymnosperm, and angiosperm. All 409 plates of color photomicrographs for pollen grains and spores are finally illustrated and described.

Themes and subjects of the maps are given in a system of three levels which one with corresponding number of base scales and, respectively, the territorial coverage. In addition to a possibility to look through all digital maps, any user can also see original vector layers in the format of shp. files which are saved in decimal degrees .This makes possible to project the data into any view, to design own project, to transform the data into other GIS-formats, to analyze the information together with own or other data with geographical conjunction .

    Description / Table of Contents: Книга посвящена дискуссионной проблеме, касающейся палеогеографического развития Российской Арктики. Проведено исследование эволюции криолитозоны в позднем кайнозое и предложена реконструкция палеогеографических обстановок нескольких эпох плейстоцена-голоцена, когда сформировались многие черты, определившие современный природный облик Севера России. В основу реконструкции положен анализ крупных залежных подземных льдов, широко распространенных в Арктике (на суше и на шельфе) в отложениях всех эпох плейстоцена и голоцена и обладающих высокой палеогеографической информативностью. Среди подземных льдов выявлен новый генетический тип - лед субмаринного происхождения. Получен ряд новых выводов. Показано, что развитие западного и восточного секторов Российской Арктики в плейстоцене проходило не одинаково: западный сектор большую часть плейстоцена развивался в условиях трансгрессивного режима и морского осадконакопления, восточный сектор - в течение всего периода в условиях континентального· режима и преимущественно озерно-аллювиального и лагунного осадконакопления. Оледенение в регионе в целом было невелико, а распространение покровных ледников ограничивалось с востока полуостровом Канин. Сделан вывод, отрицающий ведущую роль гляциоэвстатических процессов в колебаниях уровня Арктического бассейна и выводящий на первый план роль неотектонических процессов, связанных с рифтовой структурой Северного Ледовитого океана. Книга рассчитана на широкий круг специалистов, чья профессиональная деятельность связана с Арктикой и ее природой, а также же на всех тех, кто интересуется науками о Земле.
    Description / Table of Contents: Translation of the abstract: The book is devoted to a debatable problem concerning the paleogeographical development of the Russian Arctic. A study of the evolution of the cryolithozone in the late Cenozoic was carried out and a reconstruction was proposed paleogeographic settings of several epochs of the Pleistocene-Holocene, when many features were formed that determined the modern natural appearance of the North of Russia. The reconstruction is based on the analysis of large fallow underground ice, which is widespread in the Arctic (on land and on the shelf) in deposits of all Pleistocene and Holocene epochs and has a high paleogeographic information content. Among underground ice, a new genetic type has been identified - ice of submarine origin. A number of new conclusions have been obtained. It is shown that the development of the western and eastern sectors of the Russian Arctic in the Pleistocene was not the same: the western sector developed for most of the Pleistocene under the conditions of a transgressive regime and marine sedimentation, the eastern sector - throughout the entire period under the conditions of a continental regime and predominantly lacustrine-alluvial and lagoonal sedimentation . Glaciation in the region as a whole was not great, and the distribution of sheet glaciers was limited from the east by the Kanin Peninsula. A conclusion is drawn that denies the leading role of glacioeustatic processes in the level fluctuations of the Arctic Basin and brings to the fore the role of neotectonic processes associated with the rift structure of the Arctic Ocean. The book is intended for a wide range of professionals whose professional activities are related to the Arctic and its nature, as well as for all those who are interested in the Earth sciences.

    Description: Внедрение интегрированного управления водными и земельны- ми ресурсами (ИУВЗР) в Централь- ной Азии сегодня сталкивается с существенными проблемами. Са- мой основной задачей является создание и развитие потенциала на индивидуальном и организацион- ном уровнях. Аналитическая записка описывает подходы по наращиванию потен- циала, принятые Германской во- дной инициативой для Централь- ной Азии (“Берлинский процесс”), в частности: (1) краткосрочные про- фессиональные курсы, предлагае- мые исследовательским проектом ЦАВа; (2) региональная магистер- ская программа “Интегрированное управление водными ресурсами” реализуемая в Казахстанско-Не- мецком Университете в Алматы; (3) обучающий модуль по бассей- новому планированию, разрабо- танный в рамках программы GIZ “Трансграничное Управление во- дными ресурсами в Центральной Азии”. Эти подходы в основном на- правлены на развитие потенциала на индивидуальном уровне, но про- грамма GIZ по созданию бассейно- вых речных комиссий направленa также на развитие потенциала на институциональном уровне. Ключевыми факторами успеха стали региональные и транс-секторальные подходы, принятые всеми тремя программами, объединение науки и практики, и соответствие содержа- ния тренинга практическим потреб- ностям участников.

    Description: Уже сегодня Центральная Азия сталкива- ется с водным стрессом из-за конкуриру- ющего использования воды и преоблада- ния низкой эффективности водополь- зования. В будущем, климатические, ги- дрологические и социально-экономиче- ские изменения могут обострить ситуа- цию. Исследования, проведённые в рамках проекта CAWa показали, что на основе сценариев климатических моде- лей, изменение климата приведёт к даль- нейшему увеличению средней годовой температуры воздуха, а также температу- ры в зимний и летний периоды, и суще- ственному дальнейшему сокращению площадей покрытых ледниками, напри- мер в Тянь-Шане в бассейне р. Нарын на 20–60 % до 2050 года по сравнению с ны- нешним состоянием оледенения. Режим речного стока, как ожидается, изменится с ледниково-нивального на плювио-ни- вальный режим с увеличением стока в весеннее время и уменьшением стока в летние месяцы по наиболее пессими- стичному сценарию климатических изме- нений. К 2050 году повышение темпера- туры вызовет увеличение потребности воды для сельскохозяйственных культур на 5 –15 % для большинства традицион- ных культур в Ферганской долине. Подробный анализ сценариев для Фер- ганской долины показал, что экономика может справиться с будущими условия- ми, если (1) эффективность водопользо- вания в орошаемом земледелии увели- чится путём применения новых технологий орошения и улучшения ирри- гационной инфраструктуры, (2) исполь- зование земли отрегулируется в пользу новых товарных культур, таких как ово- щи, фрукты и виноград. Это беспрои- грышные меры по адаптации, которые экономики стран Центральной Азии должны предпринять, чтобы приспосо- биться к социально-экономическим из- менениям, даже при условии отсутствия изменений климата.

    Description: Программа GIZ «Трансграничное управление водными ресурсами в Централь- ной Азии» поддерживает сотрудничество между Кыргызстаном и Таджикиста- ном по совместному управлению бассейном реки Исфары путем развития по- тенциала в области устойчивого бассейнового планирования и управления. Кроме этого, реабилитация малых инфраструктурных объектов и автоматиза- ция систем учета воды направлены на обеспечение безопасного и равномерно- го распределения водных ресурсов в бассейне. Улучшенное управление вод- ными ресурсами и модернизация инфраструктуры реки Исфары способствуют повышению осведомленности и уровня водообеспеченности более 200 000 водопотребителей в обеих странах. В комплексе с проводимыми мероприятия- ми по трансграничному сотрудничеству, предложенные меры направлены на противодействие потенциальным конфликтам по причине ограниченных оро- шаемых земель между жителями соседних государств в приграничных райо- нах, что также является следствием «водного вопроса». Программа GIZ «Трансграничное управление водными ресурсами в Централь- ной Азии» реализуется по заказу Министерства иностранных дел Германии и софинансируется Европейским Союзом.

The symposium examined the results of recent research in the field of stratigraphy and lithology of Quaternary sediments of the seas of the USSR and the shelf zone of the World Ocean, the late Quaternary history of the southern and the Far Eastern seas of the USSR and some seas of the European North. The collection is of interest to Quaternary geologists, geographers, lithologists, oceanologists, marine geomorphologists and geologists.

Shishkov presents the history of the earth's climate from the contemporary positions of the general history of our planet based on the latest achievements in the field of planetology, geology, geophysics, oceanology, meteorology and climatology. The book deals with the factors responsible for climate formation on the earth, presents the major stages of the earth's history, the results of the most recent paleogeographic reconstructions. Further the book presents the history of climate proper from Pre-Cambrian to the recent time in increasing detail. The methods used for paleoclimatic reconstructions are described. Data on Pre-Cambrian glaciations and the major Fanerozoic climatological events are discussed. The book is meant, first of all, for the inquisitive reader, however, it will undoubtedly be of interest for the specialists climatologists, meteorologists, oceanographers and geophysicists.

    Description / Table of Contents: The monograph summarizes the results of medical research carried out in the Arctic and Antarctic by domestic and foreign ones. The results of ten-year observations of the health status of participants in the drifts of the North Pole research stations and Soviet Antarctic expeditions (1965-1973) have been widely used. The book covers a number of problems related to the nature of the central part of the Arctic basin and Antarctica, the conditions of life support for polar explorers and the activities of the expedition's doctors. The paper presents the specific features of human adaptation to extreme environmental conditions. Considerable attention is paid to the health status of wintering participants, the peculiarities of the course of diseases of polar explorers, the organization of medical and sanitary support for Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. The monograph is intended for doctors, station leaders, detachments and specialists working in the Arctic, Antarctic, high-mountain regions of the USSR, as well as in similar conditions in the Far North, Far East, BAM, etc.
    Description / Table of Contents: Die Monographie fasst die Ergebnisse der medizinischen Forschung zusammen, die inländische und ausländische in der Arktis und Antarktis durchgeführt haben. Die Ergebnisse von zehnjährigen Beobachtungen des Gesundheitszustands von Teilnehmern an den Verwehungen der Nordpol-Forschungsstationen und der sowjetischen Antarktisexpeditionen (1965-1973) sind weit verbreitet. Das Buch behandelt eine Reihe von Problemen im Zusammenhang mit der Natur des zentralen Teils des arktischen Beckens und der Antarktis, den Lebensbedingungen für Polarforscher und den Aktivitäten der Ärzte der Expedition. Das Papier präsentiert die spezifischen Merkmale der menschlichen Anpassung an extreme Umweltbedingungen. Besonderes Augenmerk wird auf den Gesundheitszustand der überwinternden Teilnehmer, die Besonderheiten des Krankheitsverlaufs von Polarforschern und die Organisation der medizinischen und hygienischen Unterstützung für Expeditionen in die Arktis und Antarktis gelegt. Die Monographie richtet sich an Ärzte, Stationsleiter, Abteilungen und Spezialisten, die in der Arktis, Antarktis, Hochgebirgsregionen der UdSSR sowie unter ähnlichen Bedingungen im hohen Norden, im Fernen Osten, in der BAM usw. arbeiten.
